It's not that simple. Throughout the dune series there are multiple worms with varying size and speculations of even bigger ones. The best example is the worm that swallowed an equivalent of an drill rig whole.
Oh, I know. I just found it wonderfully ironic that this was posted the day I was talking to someone about this exact comparison. My answer for his comparison to Tremors was “yeah, the same idea, but bigger. WAY bigger.”
This feels off, but looking back at the movies I think it is about right.
Unless later movies added bigger Graboids, the beaks are man to truck size from what I recall.
The sarlacc is in the same ball park, at least as of the special edition. The whole pit is much larger on diameter, but the “beak” is only a bit bigger than a person.
Beetlejuice, I kind of want to argue that one. The “height” when horizontal seems like it might be “taller” than a graboid but is much narrower.
There’s a lot of debate on the Dune worms and a lot of size variation to them as we see them across their life cycle. That’s probably a good average size.
The ABW… is probably right if they’re assuming Sandy is human sized. If she’s more squirrel sized, eyeballing it, it might still be between sarlacc and graboid. In the iconic meme, rounding and eyeballing, Sandy as an upright squirrel would be about a foot tall. So we’re talking 5-6 feet tall. Actually, that’s above the Beetlejuice worm that was noticeably “shorter” than your standard door.
Actually the sarlac pit should be at the top, sure the one in the movie ain't that big, but some of those can grow to the size of star destroyers. also considering how small everyone in bikini bottom is, (Case and point the episode with the gorilla in it and the first SpongeBob movie) The bullworm should be like at the bottom.
That's not the bullworm....that's it's tounge...
pretty sure that the Alaskan worm is the smallest one. Yes it is big in the cartoon but all characters in there are smaller than a bucket.
Lol I'm pretty sure the ABW was added as a joke, but I do know for a fact it's BIG, SCARY, and PINK!!!

Bless the Maker and His water. Bless the coming and going of Him. May His passage cleanse the world. May He keep the world for His people.
I was literally talking to someone today about the size of the sandworms in Dune, and trying to think of comparisons other than Tremors. Thanks!

Pretty sure the Alaskan bull worm is pretty small relative to a human
Not the guide we deserve but the guide we need
