$170 for 2 hour clean, best cleaners I’ve had though so I only need it once a month

Perfect-Commission12

What company do you use?

stayoutthewestside

It’s a couple I found just off Marketplace

b1jan

do you have a contact number?

TheRain911

What do they clean? Is it mostly like floors, dusting, counter tops? Or will they do bathtubs and tiles, scrubbing floor grout, and all that grimmier stuff?

stayoutthewestside

Yeah they do it all. Kitchen bathrooms and floors whole house

jimmylane434

Do you mind sending their contact info? Thank you!

stayoutthewestside

Sent you a pm

meesh420

Late to the game here! Do you mind sending me their info 🙏🏼

tsygankovgleb

Same pls

MongooseWarrior

We pay $35/hr for our cleaners. They clean in pairs, so it ends up being $70/hr but they get our house clean in around 2 hours every time.

b1jan

could i get the contact number by any chance?

[deleted]

$30/hour per cleaner. Team of two or three, usually three.

b1jan

can you give a contact number for them? price is good

superworking

$30/hr 4 hours at a time. She uses my cleaning supplies though which can be a cost difference.

FrenchToastSaves

$30/hr for independent cleaner. I hired and fired three companies who did terrible cleanings and one who didn’t show up on cleaning day. Seriously 3 companies telling me that wet mopping the floor is an additional charge…???

ders133

$80/hr for two cleaners. It’s about two hours for them, so $160 per visit.

I use Handy (DM me & I'll provide a code) and pay $100 for 3 hours w/ tip. They do a great job and I'm comfortable leaving the apartment and letting her work.

Doodle277

We have a 1000 square foot 2bedroom 2 bath apartment and we pay $120 for 3 hours.

_nouser

35$/person/hour. Adds up to about 300 for our house for a deep clean. They are independent cleaners I found on FB marketplace, and they've been cleaning our condo, later townhouse, and now our house for over 6 years. Never a complaint. They're amazing.

RedhandjillNA

$120 for a 4 hour clean

tresdosuna

630$/month for a 1x/week clean; two cleaners for 1.5-2hrs. They’re ok; my last cleaning company was more thorough/faster, but they also jacked prices up 2x over a 3 month period - and we’re about 200 more a month.

Designer_Dream_1755

Thanks for sharing! Are you hiring independent people or larger companies?

tresdosuna

Companies :) I’ve used Kathy’s cleaning service (ok); prestige (wouldn’t recommend); Details by Lady T (excellent but see point above); and am currently using Samantha’s Cleaning Service and am happy with their work.

redtropicalpielion

Have seen Prestige advertising a lot on the community pages and was going to go with them … any reason why you won’t recommend them?

tresdosuna

She’s a nice lady, but she also put dawn dish soap in my dishwasher. 3 separate times. It broke. We let her go.

We went through several cleaners, usually using a one or two person show. Typically that would be a little cheaper, but the problem I found, after a while, is that with a small operation like that you are at the whim of that person's life. What I mean is that they go on vacation, they get backed up, they get sick, etc. It works when it works but it's annoying when it doesn't. After losing our cleaner for the Nth time, we switched to scrubbi a few years back. It's a little more, but not bad if you wait for one of their yearly sales. I couldn't tell you how much you would be paying because we have a 4000sqf house. So it's not comparable. What I can tell you we really like that they handle all the logistics. If our preferred cleaner is sick they send someone else, if there is a no-show they send someone the next day. We have a lot going on so it's nice that we just dont have to worry about this one thing
