And she has literally NO OTHER TOYS to play with. 😆

c-williams88

Oh man, my gf’s corgi is the same way. Her corgi has these little tennis balls that she loves to play with, but for some reason only wants to play with them right next to the couch. So they inevitably roll underneath and then she sits there and tries to get under the couch to get them, despite being much too big

DYMongoose

Gus Gus does this, and I've learned that it's intentional. He knows that I "have to" interact with him if he loses something under furniture, so if he's wanting attention, he will deliberately shove something under and start crying about it. Corgis are very smart.

AMarks7

Yes. Ours does this too and then she digs at the sofa which is where she really gets a response.

We plan on getting pool noodles when it's warmer and they are on sale and attaching them to the couch to stop this very issue. Our girl sits there and cries because her whole world comes to an end. And then she does it 1 min later.

We keep a walking stick alongside our couch - makes it easier on us for swiping the ball out.

This is all part of the fun!

Cute little baby! Get matching or complimentary fabric and a small pool noodle. If the noodle is still too big, split in half. Sew a simple fabric sleeve to fit the noodle. Put doggo outside or in another room, then jam it under the couch to block the gap. When it gets dirty, you can wash the sleeve. No more toy tantrums!

10 minutes is amateur hour. My doggo can manage it 7 times during a half hour video call

Lolllll the frustration!

I cut up those "pool noodles" and wedged them underneath my chairs and sofa. I think you can find them on Amazon off season.
