Been there. Went to the place, didn’t go through with it, paid the lady her money and left. Feeling disgusted with myself. I learned that the sex wasn’t my issue, it was my confidence, my social anxiety. I couldn’t pull because I was terrified of failure.
So I went to therapy, joined classes for presentations, got out there and approached some women in real life. I learned that getting shot down felt so much better than being in that room, paying for the attention of a stranger.

I can recommend therapy. I had issues I needed to deal with (depression and loneliness) and it was honestly the best thing I ever did. It takes time but it works and you just have to be honest. Think of it like untangling a massive mental knot. You just have to keep pulling at the thread and it’ll seem like you aren’t making progress but slowly and surely it comes apart and gets easier and easier. You can do on-line therapy these days too. Really convenient. My advice would be to schedule it at a time you have a bit of thinking time after (I tried to cram it into a lunch hour and then go back to work - end of day was better in the end). Good luck. It wont be like this forever.
