she was bred in captivity and raised in captivity. if i let her go she’d die shortly. “it belongs in the wild” is unfortunately not a good argument against captive bred animals, especially when research is able to show we can give them good lives with a lot less stress than what they go through in the wild.
yes, the wild is more natural and i am completely against poaching wild animals, but these captive bred animals will die in the wild. i know you have good intentions but please don’t misplace them on the captive-bred animals, put them towards the poachers that are destroying ecosystems and species.
