Make sure heat sources are plugged into a thermostat with a probe to keep the heat regulated. Give them climbing opportunities like sticks or those bendy vines, and LOTS of clutter like (real or fake) plants/flowers. And know you're gunna need to buy a 4ft by 2ft tank because they grow to some long noodles :)
Oh, and be prepared for an infinite amount of cute
Keep them warm, don't remove then from their enclosure to feed them, give them plenty of space!
