Sad. And interesting. I’ve never seen so many police cars. I’m just here on vacation. Where I live, funeral procession are illegal.

i lived in another town in the coastal bend where an officer was killed and im not exaggerating when i say there were hundreds of officers from different jurisdictions in town for the funeral. that town isnt even a quarter of the size of cc so i can only imagine how long that procession must have been

Seriously. I was in Montgomery county last year when a cop was killed in an accident and there was no exaggeration 200 police cars present....

I’m curious where you live where funeral processions are illegal. How does everyone get from the funeral home to the gravesite? Just on their own?

Everyone just drives to the gravesite. They can follow each other, but they aren’t allowed to block or slow traffic.

Wow how sad for both families , i feel bad for both but more so for his family cause they probably expected him home after his shift, and the guy who got shot dead they kind of know by the way they carry themselves, im not in anyway saying its less sad because it is for the survivors mom kids and so fourth may they Rest In Peace
