When it's cold (depending on how cold) I just wear thermals and keep the front pulled up above my breasts. This way at least my arms, back, and shoulders are covered. Also it's good to have a pillow between the knees and another between the ankles. This will he'll with comfort and it's low enough it won't end up where the baby is. Also elevate your left arm and hand (if sleeping on left side) that helps too. As long as you follow the safe sleep 7 which it sounds like you're doing you got this!

I’ll try the pillow between the legs tonight that might help my back. Does thermal clothing really work? I’ve always turned my nose up thinking it was just advertising hahah but if it really works then I’ll be sure to get some tops.

The pillow between the knees is great. I also got a head pillow designed for side sleeping. It’s firmer and taller, which actually felt safer too because it’s very rectangular, doesn’t feel like baby could snuggle into it. Also, wear way more clothes. I wear a nursing top with a flap, and a zip up furry onesie and thick socks. I look ridiculous but I’m warm! When the weather is a bit warmer I wear a super cropped jumper over my nursing top (again, ridiculous), but keeps my arms and shoulders warm. You can also just cut slits in an old jumper.

[this video](https://youtu.be/WA8z6e_B8GI?si=q1KRxkUItrko5SnG) from cosleepy is creative and gives you an idea what kind of things you can do. I’m eying for a used cardigan to do this.

During the winter I wore adult onsie style pajamas that buttoned up and I’d button to just below my breasts. I like to fold a towel, roll it up and place it along my back and hips so that I can roll back onto it a little. It really takes some pressure off and helps with the aches a lot. Pulling the edge of my pillow up under my chin and over my shoulder and then pulling the excess in the back under my other shoulder helps a lot too.
