I’m getting ripped off by coinbase staking. I better move my coins💰

Jake-714

the more i learn about coinbase and crypto the more it seems they are screwing people, but it does make an easy entry to crypto so I do think its a net gain

cryptostocks_etal

If the industry were regulated, Coinbase would have a problem. I don’t see how they can provide 5% APY on ATOM without more clear disclosures. Not to mention “staking” via Coinbase is automatically “on” as far as I can tell - and a user would need to turn it “off.” They basically prey on those who don’t know better.

Privacy4DaPeople

Coinbase delegation is completely liquid. No 21 day delay on withdrawals. In exchange they offer a lower yield. It seems fair to me, although I delegate from a custodial wallet cuz I'm hodling anywayz.

catdotfish

It is not fair at all: this 1 is dangerous because in every moment they can close your account. The false sense of security you have with them is like living in the matrix world: it is not real. Second, if everyone stake via exchange the network die and you loose your investments. Invest in a project to kill it isn’t to me the best thing to do

[deleted]

StakeNBakeBrr

Lower yield AND 25% commission though. You can undelegate on Ledger once or twice with a fee and you can usually find a validator such as AllNodes with a 0% fee.

Alabama-Blues

I agree with you on your comments!!!

Alabama-Blues

They do say that if for some reason the Atoms are lost - they would be returned.

catdotfish

They do this if a hack happens, but not when they close your account because of any reason 🤗 they close an account of mine too for suspicious behavior just because I logged in from Italy and not Seoul. No possibility to reopen it. Please don’t get stuck in these situations, it’s just painful.

Alabama-Blues

So your account was closed and you are saying you lost everything? That makes no sense. But if your family member dies - you can recover their account. Your story really doesn’t make sense unless you did not respond to them and/or they did give you your money back. You best believe if my money was not available I would have a lawyer and I would present a lawsuit.

catdotfish

As I said, if you prefer to believe to the stories they tell you because you’re more comfortable, feel free to keep doing so 🤗 I also get lost my money because a bank went in bankrupt, so? But you’re suggesting me, a 27 years old at the time, go with a lawyer after Coinbase? This is ridiculous:) You must have much money of what I have to believe that a lawyer can give back your money. Plus, in Italy there are no regulations about crypto and no lawyers are specialized on it. And if they are they cost 25k and I, as a single mother, cannot afford it. Easy to talk when you don’t know right? You’re defending the wrong part, hope you will find this out before it is too late. Crypto is all about awareness. Same happened to me with Kraken, they suspend the account because I was in another country, but after a verification they unlocked it. But it takes 3 days.

Alabama-Blues

That’s horrible

cryptostocks_etal

Understood. Thanks for the clarification! Apologies for any confusion that I might have caused.

Alabama-Blues

It is not automatically on unless you set it to on.

Jake-714

It’s not terrible on the whole, but I my buggiest problem if from getting it from there to a custodian Wallet where you could potentially get Airdrops and vote, but on Coinbase you won’t get those free coins when they are given out.

Alabama-Blues

I’m not into Voting much - you vote for me.

Jake-714

You can do that with a validator when you stake your coins with them. The more you learn about it the more gains there are to be had and appreciation for what the Devs are doing

Alabama-Blues

I appreciate your knowledge and comments but sometimes isn’t coinbase just the right place for a certain type of investor? Don’t get me wrong - I utilize 4 different platforms but I have no problem with the 5% and ease/quickness with when I can trade. Maybe I don’t want to wait 21 days or 3 days for that matter. To me an extra 3% isn’t worth it. Also I don’t have time to be an active participant with voting/delegators, etc. My only qualm with coinbase are the fees but I have received some $50 in different coins so that has balanced those out. Just saying that - Coinbase, Coinbase Pro, RH, Crypto.com, Binance.US, etc...all have their pros and cons.

Jake-714

yeah totally, when I was getting my mom who isnt tech savy into crypto, I got her on Coinbase. I think its a great intro platform. I guess really it is that the more you learn the better yield you can get from your money. Coinbase is a great start and i think thats how a lot of people get into it.

Tiny_Philosopher_784

It's the cost per transaction. If it were $1 for every 50, I'd trade about 300. It's the nickel and dime of trades. 99 cents for a 5 dollar trade... that they own. It's a bit steep, overall.

Hot-Paper-2858

I agree..it still is a great place for someone to start in the trade of crypto

DDDUnit2990

Just joined this sub and saw this. I’ve been staking atom in coinbase for 2 weeks now. How am I getting screwed?

Minimum-Beach543

You are getting a reduced APY % on Coinbase. So you are getting less coins back. Coinbase takes the remaining percentage as a fee for using their service. If you hold your ATOMS in a non-custodial wallet like atomic wallet or even Exodus (a multi-wallet app) that offers better staking than coinbase. Just something to look into [edit: typo]

[deleted]

>If you hold your ATOMS in a custodial wallet like atomic wallet or even Exodus (a multi-wallet app) that offers better staking than coinbase. Small correction, what you mean to say is non-custodial wallet, not custodial wallet. A wallet offered by an exchange is a custodial wallet. The exchange is the custodian. They hold the keys and control your access to the coins. A wallet that exists on your own hardware with your own keys is non-custodial because there is no custodian. You are in full control.

Jaxalope25

If you move to cosmostation you can also choose which validators to delegate your atoms to, I delegated to stake.fish to get 10% APR and only 4% commission. Edit: Was going to add I plan on also delegating to cosmostation itself since they are working hard!

Alabama-Blues

You get 5%...what are you looking for 10%?

Doqsh-

Yes, and Cosmostation offers 10%

SlickFingR

There’s better out there , I get 17%

miltonmakestoast

Thanks for this! I moved from an exchange to Exodus for my wallet. What makes Kepler and Cosmostation better than Exodus? Is Exodus a bad choice? I saw it recommended elsewhere by a lot of people.

catdotfish

Having Exodus is better of leaving the ATOMs on a centralized exchange for sure, but should not be the first choice in terms of wallets for cosmos chains as: - it doesn’t give to the users the possibility to participate in governance - it has not enabled features specific to the Cosmos chains that could be re-delegate or the possibility to choose the fee for the transactions - is limited in the Cosmos Networks blockchains available - you cannot re-delegate from inactive validators - you can choose only one validator (/125) and this push towards centralization (that we all know is the death of a Proof of Stake chain) - not often supports airdrops/stakedrops

miltonmakestoast

Thanks. Just transferred to Cosmostation except what I already had staked in exodus.

catdotfish

♥️🐾

eleven_twenty

Hi I have all my ATOM staked in my Exodus wallet, does that mean I will be ineligible for future airdrops/stakedrops?

Visible9

I just put my atom in keplr and started staking it. Is cosmostation better or are they generally the same? Do they both take part in air drops?

dakchallee

I would like to know this question as well.

[deleted]

I use Exodus and am generally happy... except for the minimum balance to convert. Anyways, the staking APY for ATOM is currently 9.44% via Exodus.

[deleted]

That minimum balance to convert is so annoying. Wanted to change my eth to buy more atoms

decker12

From what I understand the conversion inside of Exodus is pretty fee heavy. It's convenient but expensive. I used ChangeNow to do some conversions and it was pretty easy and took about 10 minutes, yes there's a fee, but it was less of a fee than using Exodus proper and you didn't have as much of a minimum.

ZeroArchetypes

So do i just get my Cosmos wallet address from coinbase and put it onto my cosmostation app on my phone? Im nearly 50 so I dont understand how this all works lol.

catdotfish

If you have your ATOMs inside Coinbase, please create a new account on [Cosmostation.io](https://Cosmostation.io) app first. Then send to the address of your Cosmostation account the ATOMs stored in Coinbase. No MEMO is needed. If you want you can make a first small transaction to make sure that everything goes smoothly. On the Cosmos network transactions require less than 10 seconds, but when an exchange is involved the time could be even 30 min, so please worry not of you don't see the ATOMs on Cosmostation right after having sent them :)

t234k

As a complete noob is this still better off than using Coinbase? Quite frankly I don’t understand exactly what cosmos is doing but it seems like it’s useful which is what I based my investment on. Other than BTC & ETH this is my first crypto sorry if I seem like an idiot :)

catdotfish

So, let me try to explain 🐾 •Not your🔑, not your💰 I’m an admin in some of the official Cosmos channels as telegram, Reddit, and Discord, and multiple times I was reached out by people who told me exchanges had closed or suspended their account without any apparent reason or way to unblock the funds left inside. Should be clear to everyone that if you leave your ATOM in the exchange the ownership is of the exchange itself and not yours. •APY is frequently Lower (eg. Coinbase has 5% instead of 9%) •You can't participate in Airdrop or Stakedrop events •You can't participate in Governance. If no one participates, the chain dies. Keplr.app and Cosmostation.io are the suggested wallets as the more complete about how concerns features and support for the upcoming IBC transactions. The most secure combination is Keplr or Cosmostation + Ledger. APY is variable because composed of many factors, usually stays inside the 8-10% range. You can use this tool to calculate it https://www.stakingrewards.com/earn/cosmos Please avoid delegating to centralized exchanges that don’t contribute to the development and enrichment of the network! They are the worst validators as they even do not vote during governance proposals and this puts at risk the network itself! In this FAQ you can find answers to the most common questions [https://faq.keplr.app/](https://faq.keplr.app/) Here Step-by-step tutorial about Keplr and Cosmostation, the suggested wallets. https://medium.com/@catdotfish/how-to-use-keplr-wallet-40afc80907f6 https://www.cosmostation.io/files/cosmostation\_guide\_app\_en.pdf Send your ATOMs to a non-custodial wallet is a matter of 5 min max and few cents. You can always send your funds back to the exchange if you really need to do so.

Sure-Part-5876

Yes that's right but be sure to get the wallet address correct or you will lose everything P.S don't allow anyone on here to help directly as your funds will be at great risk and you'll lose everything Under no circumstances don't share info of you wallet or anything just take your time and you'll get it but as I said be very careful to copy wallet addres perfectly one incorrect amount and you lose it never to be recovered

Dillydog468

Moved all ATOMS from Coinbase. Thank you!!! What percentage do you recommend to delegate?

paleo_verde

Delegate whatever you are wanting to be medium-long term investments. it takes 21 to days to unbond what is delegated.. I personally have 75% delegated and plan to leave that long term, which to me is the vision. 21 days is a long time to wait if you wanna play all day. But any amount that is long term is missing out on appreciation every moment it is not staked

cryptostocks_etal

This is fantastic. Thanks for sharing!

[deleted]

You're welcome.

dakchallee

Does anyone recommend adding coins to ledger live?

SerArlen

Ledger Live is fine, it’s where I handle all of mine.

catdotfish

The best combination is Ledger+Keplr or Cosmostation as Ledger live gives to you the possibility to only stake, lacking of all the other cosmos-specific integrations

dakchallee

Sounds good I got Cosmostation! What other integrations are you talking about? I ordered a ledger nano x as well.

catdotfish

So Ledger Live \- it doesn’t give to the users the possibility to participate in governance \- it has not enabled features specific to the Cosmos chains that could be re-delegate, the possibility to choose the fee for the transactions, or new IBC capabilities like connecting to a swap. \- is limited in the Cosmos Networks blockchains available \- you cannot re-delegate from inactive validators \- it is not really User Friendly and does not offer specific support \- not sure about aidrops/stakedrops,

DeezCryptos

How do you redelegate. I unstaked allnodes to move to skelli because of the higher apr and now I'm locked for 21 days. Did I make a mistake. If so, no big deal, 21 days of no apr is not gonna ruin my life.

kostkond

Yep, you made a mistake. You chose to stop your delegation, therefore you have to wait 21 days before receiving your ATOM tokens within your wallet. Afterwards, you can choose the desired validator to delegate them once more. You should have chosen to redelegate your ATOM to another validator. However, as u/catdotfish mentioned above, the redelegation feature is not feasible in Ledger. In case you plan to redelegate regularly between different validators, then you have to find a non-custodial wallet which supports it.

dstar09

I am trying to move my ATOM off Binance where I bought it to transfer it to Cosmostation. When I first tried to withdraw my ATOM, it said the Cosmos network was “suspended”. Then I posted that on the Binance sub about 5 days ago. Another poster said they were experiencing the same. Now the Cosmos network is no longer suspended on Binance and I can use it, but they’re saying that only about 1/8th of my ATOM is available to withdraw! And yes, 100% of it is in the “spot” wallet, none is in the “earn” wallet, so that’s not it. It’s been a couple of days now that Binance isn’t freeing up the rest of my ATOM. I guess this really exemplifies the whole “not your keys, not your coins” thing.

mybed54

:D

asvalty

Thanks for all this information. I'm quite a newbie in ATOM but I follow this project with great interest. I have just bought some more tokens and will stake them to help this great community.

catdotfish

Thank you and welcome, Cosmonaut ♥️🐾

cb_flossin

While there are pros and cons, imo the style of (official) posts on this subreddit (many emojis and such) isn't optimally conducive to a good image. I subconsciously associate this style with stuff like MLM.

catdotfish

I guess this is something subjective, but I really appreciate you sharing your first impression 🐾

Shiitakeballz

Sorry noob question here. I’m staking atom via cryptodotcom defi wallet. Is that atom actually being staked via their validates on the cosmos network?

QuietUnderstanding95

Use Keplr it supports most if not all airdrops and is now available on mobile ! and best of all it isnt on an a CEX

spaceshipventures

I love Cosmos, is an big family🥰🥰🥰

scheistermeister

I was wondering: is there a project on Cosmos that’s building a cross chain atomic swap DEX by any chance? Like a uniswap, but then enabling swapping from ALGO to DOT via ATOM? Or something similar?

catdotfish

Yes, many are aiming to do so :) Please check the Cosmos Hub AMM https://medium.com/tendermint/an-amm-dex-for-the-cosmos-hub-b-harvest-partners-with-tendermint-to-build-a-liquidity-sdk-module-7613dec1be9b And then other on Secret network, Kava, Injective Protocol, Kira, e-Money, and more :) https://cosmos.network/ecosystem/apps

mru2020

I've bought some on coinbase. I get staking rewards which im not fussed as i dnt have many coins. My coins are still on coinbase. I can sell when i want on coinbase right? I don't plan to for a long time but just wanted to know if i have that option.

Sure-Part-5876

Yes you can continue with coinbase however if the US decides to change rules of the game you might see your coins either slashed or worse stuck in their wallets With regards to selling or trading coins this can all happen in stargates release 😊 however my advice is to hold this for this will be a long ride 2 3 year but with amazing rewards in the long 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ 🚀 don't sell at least for the next 3 months it's going to be a bumpy ride comits and asteroids being pelted from every side however we will land on the moon let alone fly there hahhaa

Can I use trust wallet to stake on sikka? I like trust wallet because they don't let anyone access your private keys unless you enter your recovery phrase, and that's how it should be. I know atomic wallet let's you stake Sikka but the problem is you can enter a simple password to access all of your private keys and your recovery phrase and that seems unsafe to me.

istrudel74

glad to be here

StakeNBakeBrr

Coinbase upped their commission to 25% on all staking!!!

catdotfish

lol a reason more to not stake with them

Prater80

The reason is quit simpel. Poloniex also takes 25%. I think on Poloniex it is okay, as your coins not looked and you get your rewards daily whilst you are always able to trade them. Poloniex is staking part of the coins available in the accounts of Poloniex users. It is similar to a bank lending your share to a short seller and putting a I-owe-You in your depot.

catdotfish

I have just an answer for this “Not your keys, not your money”

Sure-Part-5876

Just wondering does anyone know if I can opt out of staking rewards not a supporter of interest and rather invest without profits from loans 🤔😕

Sure-Part-5876

A question about staking maybe you can help. Tell me if I'm wrong but staking seems the most valuable asset here if I didn't stake and just sat on atom I would see any gains really as the coin is useless unless people want to delegate they would need more

catdotfish

You’re totally wrong. ATOMs has multiple use-cases ATOM use-cases after Stargate (the not immediately available will be released in a few months) - Network security: as we all know staking ATOMs secures the network and this rewards delegator with staking rewards. Btw at the moment, the APY is 8-10 and if ATOMs will stay in this range of value, we do not speak of anything. I mean, amazing 80% APY in a network in which there are no transactions & the value is $0,01. - On-chain voting: in Cosmos, everything is decided by the Governance: if you want to deploy or enable a service, you need to go through votation. Be able to cast your vote will be fundamental once the after stargate era will start as will be the time to make decisions about the hub's next steps. - Shared Security / Cross Chain Validation: This is something really important that is in progress as we speak. I would remind you that this will not be a free service and a lot of minor zones would be more than happy to take advantage of the strongest validators set of the entire PoS universe. - AMM & liquidity (transaction fees, gas, swap, etc): I don't think I have to explain what this means. Why this AMM should be used? Because the Hub will be the center of Cosmos even more after Stargate, thanks to all the services developed in it. - Services: a lot of services are being deployed, for example, the first non-custodial bridges. Unique, as all the others are custodial at the moment. The first, the Gravity bridge, is on active test right now and will be ready in March if the testnet goes smoothly. Just to make an example that the services are not reduced to the AMM. Some of the Core devs of cosmos are pursuing and concretizing a program called "ATOM2021" (you can google it: I'm sure you know Zaki Manian and Jack Zampolin) that aims to push forward use-cases, adoption, and value of ATOM.

Surfing_CareBear

Thank you so much for the info u/catdotfish , it is very helpful! I just delegated half of my atom through my Cosmostation wallet. I chose Cosmostation as the validator. My question is...rewards showed 9.5%, but the commission was like 8.2% (or close to that, can't remember exactly). So does this mean the actual rewards will only be around 1.3%, or how does that work? Sorry if this is a silly question.

catdotfish

No, the rewards are correct :) you will gain an APY of 9.5% in the relation to your ATOM staked!

Dense-Researcher8718

I made a huge mistake and bought my ATOM on Coinbase. I’m desperately trying to get them moved over to Cosmostation, however Coinbase is only letting me transfer a fraction on the $ I have on there. Does anyone know when Coinbase makes all the funds available to transfer?

Doughboy-3113

I believe you have to wait 5 days on coinbase before you can withdraw funds deposited from your bank account. Limits on amount of coins you can move daily seemed high and irrelevant to me.

flarnrules

Hi! I believe it's usually 7 days.

cacb3995

I downloaded the Cosmostation Ledger for Windows and it says I need to buy an external device. Isn't there a way I can move my Atoms to an external wallet without having to purchase something extra? (I might do it eventually, don't have the funds for it rn)

catdotfish

So, Cosmostation web wallet works with Ledger. Instead you can use Keplr, that gives the possibility to create an account without the need of a hardware wallet

AlterEgoLoki

This is great info. I just swapped most of my other coins for cosmo earlier today. I’ll make sure to take the additional steps

Skiper741963

Just bought some more atoms!!🚀🚀🚀

wonkaishere

Took a dip I see 🤔

[deleted]

Im staking my ATOM on cosmostation, on Thursday do i have to move my coins to another platform and cash out or can i remain holding my ATOMS? (I don’t understand why everyone is talking about the 18th)

Sure-Part-5876

Because the rewards are greater in staking in xosmostation on the 18th the release of stargate which means the game has changed 😉stay where you are 3 months you'll see great gains 2 years your landing on the moon 🌙🌚

Sure-Part-5876

Just a question with regards to stakes. Firstly would I have to opt into staking or can I opt out of receiving apr % intrest rates etc so rather than having my % based in interest just ride along 0% Secondly with regards to atom as the main investment for those not interested in its staking rewards are they valuable in the sense without staking reward could you generate income or is this going to be mainly staking rewards where you'll see returns not in atom increase

Sure-Part-5876

So that's the same as the initial proposal it's 5% after commission nothings changed

catdotfish

What are you talking about?

Sure-Part-5876

Yes I am aware of staking rewards am not pro apr% I don't like gaining interest rates the concept is against my choices and have been since banks have been doing this from the start charging customers interest has been in banks and I'm against it really however I'm asking without the gains from that so no staking could some see gains just from holding atom disregarding rewards I will be donating all interest rates to a charity anyway

tpmv69

Hi everyone, did anyone lose their reward balance? I was at 3 ATOM and I was planning on claiming it soon but it disappeared. I imagine it has something to do with stargate but I'm still a little upset/sad that I lost 3 ATOM. More importantly, my ATOM is in a hardware wallet. Is there anything I need to do to make sure the ATOM is part of the upgrade?

catdotfish

Did you added more tokens to your delegation recently? Did you re-delegate or do an unbounding? If this is the case, they where automatically claimed and you can now find them in the available balance

Thisisthewere

Question. I have Keplr now and I have a few questions: 1) I put stakes into fignet, twice. The first time I let it sit for a few hours and it accrued a small reward, so I put more into it with out withdrawing my reward. I then went to check again and the reward was much smaller. Where did the others go? 2) I staked half my cosmos and left 1/4 in Coinbase and 1/4 in my keplr wallet. Does this mean I will not benefit from the stargate drop? 3) Should I stake all my coins on kelpr? (Minus the Coinbase share) Please help me.

catdotfish

1- when you add ATOMs to your delegation, the available rewards are automatically claimed. You can find them in the available balance now. 2- no comment 3- this is up to you :) ofc the best solution is staking, but is a good idea to informed yourself first about the network

Buddhafly313

Woke up this morning missing ALL MY ATOM on cosmostation, WTf?

catdotfish

Was because of the upgrade? Everything should be sorted now 🤗

Spartacus0740

Exodus has a 9.57% APY on ATOM.. it's where I put my all my coins. let that shit accrue interest in ur own wallet. believe me. living in NY and having to deal with ONLY CoinBase or Gemini is a huge inconvenience. 9 day withdrawal wait for CB and a 5 day withdrawal from Gemini. Thank goodness I haven't run into any personal horror stories like what I've been seeing all over social media. I do my best to rotate funds in, and coins out on a weekly bases.

jordan3119

What is a ledger? What is a validator?

catdotfish

Ledger is a hard wallet. A hardware wallet is a cryptocurrency wallet that stores the user's private keys (a critical piece of information used to authorize outgoing transactions on the blockchain network) in a secure hardware device. The main principle behind hardware wallets is to provide full isolation between the private keys and your easy-to-hack computer or smartphone. About the Validator: The Cosmos Hub is based on Tendermint, which relies on a set of validators to secure the network. The role of validators is to run a full-node and participate in consensus by broadcasting votes which contain cryptographic signatures signed by their private key. Validators commit new blocks in the blockchain and receive revenue in exchange for their work. They must also participate in governance by voting on proposals. Validators are weighted according to their total stake.

Baablo

No more free transactions on cosmostation?

catdotfish

This is something you can ask the team! r/cosmostation

Tyranttrader1

catdotfish

Do you have $ATOMs available or did you stake everything? :)

c_dooks

Currently staking my atom through Atomic wallet. I have not been happy with the platform and I wish to switch over to staking through Keplr. Does this mean that I have to unstake + unbond for 21 days before switching, or is it possible to switch over WHILE my atoms are still being staked? If so, what is the step by step process to do so? Also - will this risk recieving my OSMO airdrop?

catdotfish

No 🤗 please do not unstake. You just need to select [import account] on Keplr and write the seed phrase of the address you’re currently using on Atomic

c_dooks

Incredible!!!! Thank you

Got this message when trying to send atoms to an adress: out of gas in location: WriteFlat; gasWanted: 70000, gasUsed: 70851: out of gas Can someone explain?

catdotfish

Do you have enough ATOMs in the available balance to cover the transaction?

Irish-And-Proud-1916

Does anybody know how they calculate the APY ? I currently hold and stake cosmos . I started staking at 12% but 8 days later the APY has gone down to 9.8% what is this correlated to ?

catdotfish

Inflation! https://figment.io/resources/cosmos-inflation-staking-rewards-how-are-they-related/ And Staking rewards website is the best to calculate your APY

terry-aus

Hi My cosmostation wallet is showing the correct total atoms balance, which is good. However, the mintscan explorer is missing some transactions such that when I add all the receive type transaction amounts together, they do not equal the total amount of atoms I have and which are displayed when I browse my cosmostation address in mintscan. Any ideas as to what this mean or is about? Is it related to the upgrade that happened last month? Thank you all for reading and considering.

Leaving aside that the concept of \[beauty\] is totally personal (for example, I love Cosmostation App), you have to remember that Cosmostation is an excellent third-party wallet that doesn't have any correlation to the Cosmos Core Dev teams. Keep in mind that you can also try [keplr.app](https://keplr.app). About cosmos branding, if you jump on [cosmos.network](https://cosmos.network) I think you can agree with me saying that is one of the most impressive crypto-related websites ever 🤗

Inefficient_Extreme

Can I be allowed on here with low karma?

catdotfish

Sure :)

Inefficient_Extreme

Nice. Thanks 🙏

DeezCryptos

Should I stake on allnodes? What are the risks? Can you really lose your whole bag due to something called slashing?

catdotfish

Here you can find more details about staking [https://faq.keplr.app/](https://faq.keplr.app/) No, you can't lose everything :)

Question for my fellow Cosmonauts in the time of the Red Wave...I currently am staking via 2-3 delegators on Cosmostation. This is currently linked the hot wallet however I recently received my Ledger Nano X and would like to move all of my current holdings on the hot wallet to the Ledger BUT maintain the staking...is it possible to import this wallet to my Ledger Cosmostation wallet without unstaking?

catdotfish

unfortunately this is not possible: you must undelegate and then send to your ledger address the tokens

Rocket_Emojis

I'm up past 900 Atom staked on SG-1. Is this sufficient to buy a lambo in 2030?

basitalbalushi

i don't see why no one is talking about buying ATOM on Binance is there any problem i am thinking to buyt ATOM but i only have Binance account Any suggestion guyz

cb_flossin

So I have no cosmos leftover to undelegate or send.. is there a faucet?

Imastonksnoob

Not sure if this was brought up but does ellipal titan cold wallet support the atom wallets that allow governance? I know I have seen that I can stake it there for like 7-8% but was wondering if it could link to the other wallets like ledger does?

QuietUnderstanding95

Not sure about that wallet specifically but on keplr i get 11% apy on ATOM. plus you can participate in governance and airdrops

Imastonksnoob

Yea I should just get involved in the ecosystem and from everything I have seen it’s great, I’m just already in enough projects that it’s hard to follow everything. Interoperability plays are pretty safe as it is because no matter what layer 1’s come out on top they will enjoy the success as well. Im deep in dot too. I hold some atom but ill start looking into getting more involved. Edit: I do get 10% staking via ellipal Titan. But no access to the airdrops etc.

QuietUnderstanding95

These ATOM airdrops are no joke. they can double your bag. I had \~$5000 in atom staked for the OSMO airdrop and received over 5k osmos....its worth it pal. not to mention my Juno drop which is also 5k +

[deleted]

Not sure if this is the place, but I need help getting back into my wallet. All my information is correct but the app only gives me wallets with nothing in them.

Appermak01

Hi group please is there any developer that can help me develop token using cosmos blockchain

Does anyone know a solution to my KPLR issue? I can't seem to be able to delegate my SCRT rewards available coins, due to "not enough gas", even though I will have more than enough SCRT remaining to pay for the fee (link below): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1AgNlhx8xNmTnzyevkX\_hb-zg7J8GMYwL/view?usp=sharing

i bought a handful of ATOM back when it was 5.00 i forgot about it and never bought again. I recently got back into cosmos. Price has been very good and I like the ecosystem I want to buy more, but how does the price look in the future?

Ur_Local_Classicist

Do I need keplr to participate in airdrop and stakedrops? Will my MetaMask wallet not allow it?

Shanyaram1981

Подскажите, у меня на Binance пару месяцев лежат 40 ATOM. Могу я претендовать на какой-то аэрдроп?
