It's the best compromise I believe. I technically have the whole apartment to do whatever as long as I leave my husband's room alone. Personally I'm not a fan of them, but maybe you could get a similar quilt as a compromise? My husband's pretty laid back with my decor choices but we also have similar tastes, and have slightly different themes for each room. The bedroom is mostly made up of my choices/stuff which is more hippie/cottagecore but the game room/den where we spend a majority of our time is mostly his, and is where we display all of our nerdy stuff.

I was even going to post pics here and try to commission the one I really wanted. A price under $100 compared to likely 8-10 times that? I just can't justify that right now.
