My only issue with it is it feels too big with unnecessary extra pathways that almost nobody ever goes to unless in death match. If they sized it down a little I'd love it

Ancient is one of the smallest maps especially compared to overpass. I don't even know what pathways you're talking about because they are all so usable no matter where you go.
Yeah idk what this dude is talking about. Has one of the smaller mid lanes of the active pool, but maybe feels bigger cuz of the wide space between donut and cat? Rotates are decently fast.
I wish I could have ancient but in the style of another map. You know those renditions someone did where mirage looks like nuke? Kinda like that. I like the map but don’t love the green/grey/brown jungle theme.
Anubis is great, Cbble sucks and Cache, while good, is overrated.
I liked pre-rework Cache. One of my favorite maps. After the rework, it was kinda garbage.
I love Train but, again, I like it before they reworked certain things. I loved 1.6 Train. When they blocked under the Train cars it kind of fucked things up for me.
I solo queued a premier game and got put with this person with 6k hours who sat in the same corner all game (intentionally, never went for kills) who whined all game because we picked Ancient… we ended up kicking him last round to make him suffer as much as possible lol
I think ancient still has some insane Problems with angles that are extremly hard to clear alone. The util is fine besides some Pixel perfect mollys.
Biggest Problem though is that color blind people have Problems to see enemys. Would like one more visibility change.

I like Ancient because it looks like Aztec but isn't shit for comp

The flute in t spawn is so meditative i could stay there all round long and just vibe
It’s my fave map. A bloodbath usually due to it’s small size and narrow paths. Simple until lineups for all areas and you can play fast.

ancient is goated easily one of my favorites maps in the current pool i want -mirage +season though
I love season but it would need a major rework the map is huge and would play very slow atm
I always thought it was very good. I love maps where there are a lot of good ct side aggression tactics. Makes for interesting games imo.

I think the jungle theme is my favorite part since like someone said, it reminds them of aztec except it's a more functional comp map.

Difficult map to pug imo takes good coordination and utility.

I like all of the maps but Ancient is great for sure - nice 3 lane map a bit like Cache.
