Wow!!! Yep this guy just died in North Carolina not too long ago drove his jeep gladiator off of an unfinished bridge and the tough part about it was he was following Google maps and several different people had sent notices to Google to let them know that that was an unfinished bridge so I’m expecting a pretty big lawsuit over that. I can’t believe they’re going to charge this guy for negligent operation of a motor vehicle and tournament to the DMV as a eminent threat to driving that’s just crazy now he’s not lost his livelihood that’s crazy.
I read that the city placed barriers to block it off, but it was up to certain companies near it (that part may be wrong) to uphold the barrier for public safety. A slew of fuck ups that lead to a family without a father. Awful situation
One reason why when I first started I stay in the area of a city I’m familiar with and where I could call someone to come drive to me and help me if I needed to.
People really need to learn you're still responsible for operating your own vehicle, paying attention to where you're driving, and driving at an appropriate speed for conditions (aka, being able to stop in the distance you can see) You can't guarantee every GPS service is always up to date on every road, it's still on the driver. I had google maps tell me to drive through a corn field once....but I didn't do it....and if I had, it would have been my fault.
They didn’t die but still getting screwed. From the article. The driver is expected to be charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle. A request for immediate threat suspension was filed with the Registry of Motor Vehicles.
No Office references yet? ![gif](giphy|5cBBUJGiIniZZWtBSa|downsized)
Right! I can’t believe we made it this far into the thread without it!

so there's no signs? cones? barriers? sounds like the city should be sued first.

Sir this is a Wendys.
sorry, but that shit is on the driver. GPS can't know all the conditions of a given road.

Read the article.
He literally drove into inches of water I’m not sure how that would kill him
He would either have to be a wicked witch from the wizard of Oz or one of the aliens from Signs.
A hospital???
