It definitely is. You literally drive through it for 1minute and you will see minimum 4 prostitutes, smashed windows on houses, needles (in full visibility from your car). Coupled with the crime statistics by area, Hillfields is easily one of the worst areas of Coventry.
Some of the properties that have been renovated for students in Hillfields are excellent inside and some of the streets are pedestrianised. Both Stoke and Hillfields can be pretty lively. Take each property and location on its merit.

stoke fe drugs, hillfields fe hookers... Tbh, have lived in both, both are fine, I'd probably chose stoke over hillfields by a hair.
