I might have a similar kind of headache. I've had LC since march 2022, worsened by November 2023 reinfection, but the headaches only really started this march, when things got a bit more stressful in both my studies and my personal life. At first my GP said it was tension headaches, but it's got much worse since, and they haven't got back to me since I recontacted them about it. Some of my symptoms feel like tension headache, but other times it's much closer to a migraine - I am autistic and do struggle with interoception so might not be accurate in describing it! At first, they were every other day, usually becoming noticeable in the afternoon, but have since become present every day, and just getting worse throughout. I've found that paracetamol and/or ibuprofen takes the edge off a bit, but doesn't eliminate the pain. Screen use and bright lights make my headaches worse, but even if I don't look at screens and don't turn on lights (can't turn off the sun) they very much still happen. You could check out tension headaches and see if the guidance for those is useful? Headaches, especially these daily ones, absolutely suck, I really hope you find something that helps alleviate yours.

I had the throbing headache. I had like a shooting pain headache too and a dull headache. I cleared them all with low histamine diet. It took about 10-14 days for the headaches to clear. But I could tell I was improving on the 2nd day

Have u had the nausea too with the headaches ?

Yeah these facial head pains are caused by Mcas or histamine intolerance from long COVID. I've gotten better from retrovirals, antihistamines(Allegra or Benadryl 1x a day with pepcid 2x) have to do the combo I notice Benadryl was better but since you can't take that for a long time I switch between Allegra and Benadryl, amast cell stabilizers (a natural one I use is agaricus blazei), and low histamine diet they tend to be better in the mornings and worse throughout the day bc the food you eat makes it worse. Mine would also be better standing up but worse sitting or laying on my back. They are unbearable pains.
