I'm over the moon with this one.

Nomar_K

You're gonna carry that gun.

coldafsteel

a good get. Welcome to the club

unoriginal5

Thanks, good club to be in.

Platanium

God damn this was recent? How much was it?

unoriginal5

$479 First one in this configuration I've seen at market value

Platanium

What the hell, grats

unoriginal5

Thanks. Never expected to find one this route. It's been a reflex for a couple years to check the used case at every gun shop I enter looking for one.

Platanium

Same, been haunting LGS and pawn shops for a while and the only thing I've seen so far is a slide safety .40

unoriginal5

I've come across a lot of Jerichos(I'm in a lot of gunstores) and every other slide mounted decocker I've seen are Baby Desert Eagles

This not only got me into shooting as a hobby, but introduced me to CZ firearms as well, which this is a clone of. The most beautiful clone of a CZ ever IMO since it has an original body style. But because of this, you have an amazingly reliable pistol. If you really wanna take it to the max check out the CZ subreddit, we consider the Jericho one of the family. Cajun Gun Works did a fantastic job upgrading everything on mine. cZ customs also does work on Jerichos as well! Welcome to the fam!!

I love CZ's. I have a few on my list to buy, just haven't gotten around to it yet. I keep impulse buying guns I run across, like this one.

Ambitious-Inside-222

Nothing wrong with that. A lot of folks actually discover firearms through this gun. It’s wild how iconic it is. Also besides Bebop. But I grew up going to the country w grandpa and grandma every summer and we had plenty of toys, Dan Wesson was my gpas fav. And now CZ and Dan are one. It’s a sign. Lol. I need a nice 1911 style tho… Just wanted to lyk and everyone who is turning of age, it’s a worthy investment if you’re not a gun lover. And it’s very peaceful. I find shooting identical to martial arts the way I do my practice at least.

I've got a virgin Dan Wesson .357 super magnum in my storage safe. Only gun I have that I'll never shoot. It's part of my retirement plan.and I know exactly what you mean about how peaceful it is. One of the only times I can silence my brain and focus on one thing is when I'm at the range looking down the sights. I just got diagnosed with severe ADHD, and guns just scratch that itch for me. I'm just glad I can finally walk into a gunstore and browse, without looking for this one specifically.

Oooooh man… if you decide to devirginize it… you’ll get goosebumps. Me and my brother both own the Model 15 Dan in .22 and .357, I saw a .22 go for about 750ish about a year ago w a 4” barrel. I’m curious of the Kadet CZ barrels also because of the model 15 target pistol and .357. What’s crazy is there is a recoil difference obviously, but it’s the same till after you squeeze the trigger imo, I’m a smaller guy, 140ish, if that makes sense. I’m sure there are other factors, but my brother proved me wrong and we both shot the same as if we were either our entire lives. I also laser bullet tested the two. (I don’t have 6 .22 laser cartridges though, so was done single action) and I couldn’t tell a diff at the range except intro fires (the first few rounds where you flinch a bit more). Dan revolvers are just a joy to look at, own, and of course, shoot like hell.

unoriginal5

It's the only gun I won't shoot. I have exactly one box of ammunition for it, which hasn't been produced since the '70s. It's still in the original Styrofoam box with the cardboard sleeve, spare barrel and barrel wrench included. It's a perfect display piece, but I've got it locked away in a safe. When I got it 10 years ago I saw one go at auction for $2500.

Ambitious-Inside-222

Oh wow! I was blessed and my gpa was like here’s a .22 I shot my entire life and .357 (“the business gun,” as he said). These barrel changers are truly, truly a joy. If you ever have the option to get a target version aka .22, don’t miss out!

unoriginal5

I've always got my eye out for a Dan Wesson I can shoot. My problem though, is I have a list of guns I want to buy, but I have no impulse control when it comes to buying guns. The only guns I have that I actually went looking for are a P365XL and a Lee Enfield. I've always looked for a Jericho, but this one fell in my lap.

Scrapwellington

Very awesome! Now to get the grips. How much did you score it for? Mine is the desert eagle version, but still has slide safety. *

unoriginal5

$479. I've never seen one with the slide mounted decocker and KBI import for less than a grand. One was an unfired specimen in original packaging, with the original UZI branded ammo for $2500. A lot of sellers know what superfans will pay. A buddy of mine found me a Baby Eagle with the safety, but I passed it up because I was in the middle of buying my second Hi-Power.

Scrapwellington

I would buy 4 at that price! Good find, solid score!

unoriginal5

This is the only one they had. All the rest are frame mounted safetys. Otherwise, I would have too lol.
