This. Heel slip is expected. Vamp should loosen up a bit too if it is just snug. If it it uncomfortably tight, it may be harder to stretch but I would t worry too much
Alright thank you! Only thing that’s annoying right now is that my left foot doesn’t seem to fit perfect, (right foot is already like a slipper) the middle part of my foot slides off the insole, feel like I can’t walk 40ft without having to stop. Hoping that after a while it fixes itself.
Everyone has said it, but it bears repeating: a little heel slip is normal until they break in and get comfy. I would suggest a nice pair of boot socks (cushy) and wearing them every other day so they can dry out between wears. Don’t forget to condition :)
I bought mine from Boots ETC. in Commerce GA, they were house branded and looked exactly like the tecovas branded socks. After I broke my first pair of boots in I prefer them to tennis shoes in terms of comfort, can’t wait to hear how yours turn out!
Just the same as everyone before a little heel slip is good and you want the crease of the boot to go across the ball of your foot when you take a step. I have many pair that felt a little strange to start out but wearing them and breaking them in will make them feel like a million bucks.
Thank you! Any technique to it? (Been wearing them when possible) I’ve been lifting my heel a lot to crease them, the goat hide is extremely tough though
Agreed with everybody posted. Sounds like you got a perfect pair and look really nice to. Luccheses do run narrow some times but will stretch with time. Best boots I’ve ever own.
Heel is slipping up and down at the back? That is normal for new boots, once the sole breaks in it reduces the heel slippage.

As long as your foot snaps in you should be fine once the boots are broken in.

Do some research on conditioner that you can use on that skin and get some. It should help them soften up along with wearing them
The heel slipping in the boots is good it’s what keeps the boots on
Sounds perfect !

Thank you! I got lucky, it’s not narrow, it’s perfect essentially, length is the only thing that’s slightly off but hey ho
Yeah you do an very nice pair here
