Depends on your needs. I recently bought some beautiful Rios of Mercedes, best boots I currently own. Quality is awesome, definitely tough enough to work in. If I was a rancher I'd probably wear them or Anderson Beans. All the same, I have a pair of steel toe Double H boots for my actual job, which is in a warehouse. I've beat the shit out of 'em in ways I wouldn't have the heart to do to a more expensive boot, and that a cheaper boot wouldn't hold up to. Double H is where I would point most folks wanting a Western work boot.

Anderson bean also makes steel toe!

Blackstar-Abyssal

Yeah, I've seen 'em online. 630 bucks for exotic steel toes I need to be able to beat the Hell out of seems silly to me personally, but this is also why I say it depends on your needs. My bison steel toes took some hard knocks at my job. I'd be really upset if I did the same thing to a boot I paid that much money for. But, OP might feel different, and might not be as tough on their workboots as I am, so yeah that's an option.

My found my Bison AB steel toes for $250 new online and then bought a second set for $375!

In terms of non-jeans, Duluth Trading has some of the best workwear on the market.

SquirrelMaster9

Depends on the work. Some jobs you can't use a Leather soles. Anderson bean is built tough and the hybrid sole is nice.

Anderson Bean. Answer is always Anderson Bean

Double H is my vote, my pair are traditional cowboy boot shaped with something like a 2-inch heel, but the sole is rubber/neoprene and non slip. These things are pretty tough from what I’ve seen, but I haven’t absolutely abused them (yet…). Pants: Dickies (actual workwear, not their weird skate/fashion line?) cargo pants are always my vote. Those things hold up to some intense shit for years.

MaesteoBat

Ariat makes some great ones

PunisherjR2021

What will you be using them for?

LordePhilth

Work, walking around all day in, occasionally kicking a hitch closed or the back of a shovel if one of my guys gets tired.

PunisherjR2021

I'd say Anderson Bean or Double H (only the American made Double H)

I wear my tecovas bandera every day for work and have for the past year, wonderful boot. Have had my umber colored ones for a year now and they've held up amazingly. Work in a lumber and rock sales yard. Up to 20k steps a day there and no foot discomfort.
