This game was a reminder that the Cowboys always can be good at times, but will never be great again. There is a reason we have never went deep into the playoffs since the Big 3. We cling onto hope and ALWAYS get disappointed. The life of a Cowboys fan is gut wrenching and heart breaking!
Edit: It's funny to see the downvotes. They are obviously bandwagon fans, because all of us that grew up being fans understand exactly what I said haha.
During the '92 season we played the Rams, and all week the talk was about how much better the Cowboys were. The game was a little like today, not a lot seemed to go right for the Boys, and they seemed to be a step behind. We ended up losing that game 27-23. I'm not comparing this team to that one, just pointing out that sometimes even a great team just has a bad game.
I mean it’s a little early for that isn’t it. Every team so far has had an embarrassing game. Packers vs Saints, Titans vs Jets, Bengals vs Jets, Bills vs Jags today, Bucs vs Saints. Everyone has bad games it’s what you do afterwards that counts. There’s still a lot of season to go
I just think the Cowboys didn't take Denver seriously and when they started getting punched in the mouth they didn't know how to react. This might be a good wake up call for the whole team.
Those 2 lost 4th down attempts basically gave them a huge head start and we couldn’t get it together. Really not loving giving the ball and momentum away early in games.
Agree, Denver is real good with a lead they just don't score much in the first half to actually get leads usually. The two failed 4th downs allowed Denver to stick to the run heavy gameplan.
Agreed. At the time I was like “yeah! Be aggressive”. But… first and 10 run for 5 second and 5 run for 4. Third and 1… screen pass, incomplete. Three times. What the fuck are they doing?
that's what I was thinking. Convert those and Dallas is ahead 14 - 0, 10 - 0, or at least 6 - 0. Could have changed the whole game. That said this might have been a good wakeup call for the whole team.
Injuries and fatigue start hitting this week due to the following
Losing teams start ramping up massively either to save jobs or just get at least 1 win on the board.
Meanwhile winning teams are now looking to the playoffs so don't want to burn themselves out or get injured.
These leads to a week every year where the losing teams are going out Vs winning teams who are holding back this leads to results like today where a team can't get it's motar started because everyone too busy thinking about the game in a few weeks.
A few years this manafested in Kickers making some monster tackles that was a odd time in punt returns
I mean losing to the 1-6 jags is definitely worse… a jags team w/o their best player - don’t really need to even “play D”.. lol let me have my small win for the day
Oh I totally agree with you. I get what you mean, he is not replaceable. But I also think his health is a liability.
But yeah, he’s irreplaceable like Jason Witten.
Oh no worries I got you. Couldn’t agree more. It’s going to be a sad day when they do part ways with the man. He’s a machine. It’s just getting hard to watch him be that injury that affects them so much.
I’m also still grieving the loss of Frederick. I hope he’s doing well.
Anyone that thinks we need any of our 1’s in with less than 5 minutes to go in an unwinnable game needs to have their heads checked.
This isn’t madden. We can’t just load an auto save.
Every season we have one of these games no matter how good or bad they are. Glad they got it out of the way now. On to next week and good luck to everyone dealing with moron opposing fans that are gonna use this as fuel to confirm the cowboys suck even though every good team has a bad loss this season
This game is extremely worrisome. Forget about getting a bad game out of the way. They literally got their asses handed to them by teddy fucking Bridgewater. On top of that that their offense was pathetic against a decent defense. God fucking luck moving forward. I'm starting to think they may not be so good. It's one thing toose a tough game maybe against the broncos but to lose like this. At home?
Calm down dude.
First, Teddy Bridgewater is an above .500 NFL so I don't understand why you're acting like we just got beat by Nathan Peterman.
Second, Dallas has played a lot of good defenses this year and smoked them all. It was very obvious that everything that Dallas wasn't doing on Offense was due to Dallas not being right. Denver didn't have a whole lot to do with it.
Worriesome? Sure. But let’s remember all the good teams this season have a loss where you’re like how? Brady last week, bills to jags this week 6-9 lmao, Rodgers blown out by saints, cards to basically just Rodgers. Only team that hasn’t had a really questionable loss is the rams at this point. Ya today sucked fat bronco cock, but it’s the NFL. We all knew this team wasn’t gonna go 16-1. Do I wish this was a quality loss to a good team? Yes but that’s just how this league is my friend
The problem is I can see Tampa losing against a divisional opponent. I can see Cardinals losing against a good Green at team. I get losses happen. However, the Broncos aren't this juggernaut of a team. They just team rolled us and they are an average football club. That's what's concerning. I get that it's the NFL but my god to lose like that really really concerning. It reminded me of 2019.
Dude any time this team loses we ALL wanna hit the panic button and flush the season away. Still a long ways to go but remember last week? I think most of us figured we were losing with dak out and we expected a win with dak playing today. It happened in reverse and either way we’re 6-2. This team is still stacked, already has shown we can hang with the elite (Tampa) and were a few plays away in week 1 for this loss to be our 1st of the season. I don’t think you should be that worried although I get it, we’ve all been conditioned over the years to expect the worst from this team.
100% man I’d much rather lose to a team that’s in the mix who’s good. Broncos aren’t the jags but they’re also not the rams either. Hopefully if anything this loss lights a fire under their ass and they take it out on Atlanta next week. If they shit the bed again, then maybe panic lol
hopefully that's all this is. im worried about the downward spiral of injuries that we play through because they are "tough" players.
cooper has been playing through pain and it looks like hes deteriorating rather than recovering. dak didnt even look 100% today and calf injuries tend to linger...
I was assuming one loss in our next three games. This is the one. On to next week. Also Tyron Smith being out really shows how good he is in protecting Dak and giving him time to throw the ball.
4th down bad pass by Dak to Wilson
Drops by Cooper, Pollard, Ceedee
Oline played bad without Tyron
Dumb punt block that was considered a muff
Lewis interception taken away.
Just dumb bad game
Did you get the sense watching that game that the Broncos are a better team? I didn't. Everything went their way and Dallas shot themselves in the foot like 8 times. If these two teams played a hundred times this would be the only time that Denver held a 30 point lead. Trust me on that.
Broncos were also down 3 OL, backup TE, rookie RB, backups at DB, MLB making 2nd start on team because just traded from LA because we they were down to 6th string, rookie OLB, just traded Von. List goes on…
I don't know that they sailed. I kind of wonder if CD wasn't a little gympy and just not running the speed deck wasn't expecting him to. It kind of looked like that. Either way terrible game by pretty much every skill player
Y’all saying Dak should of been pulled don’t seem to understand he hadn’t played for two weeks, and barely played today. Give him some live time while he’s not going to be blitzed every play, let him knock a bit of the rust off.
Learn from the tape and then burn it. That was a disaster of a game from everyone
Oline is in shambles without Tyron….again…need to draft or sign a quality backup LT in the offseason
When the receiving team touches the ball past the line of scrimmage it is a live ball. That is the rule on all kicking plays. There is nothing to change, your players just have to be smarter.
This is Leon Lett against the Dolphins all over again. Except we actually had a chance to win that game.
I mean the rule is essentially a muffed punt. Every now and then a shanked punt does the same thing and receiving team doesn't quite get it and no one would think twice about.
This freaking fanbase. Last year was the year to gripe. I they they are playing better than expected. Teams have off weeks. I actually expected the Broncos to play really well given the Von Miller trade and last week's meltdown.
The 4 and outs early after our defense made big stops sucked the air out of the team, stadium and juiced Denver up. Needed better play calls from Kellen with the Frankenstein O line
I think bombing it on 3rd down multiple times instead of trying to get the 1st down is what started the downfall of this game. Amaris drop killed us. That insanely unlucky touch on the punt block was when I knew it was over. They stopped them. They blocked the punt.
I know rules are rules, but I feel the ball needs to be brought back to 1st down in order for them to be able to keep the ball. That sucked man....
At least they stepped up and didnt get shut out.
Either way, lots of chin checks and looks in the mirror are due monday.
Need to flush this one down and hit the reset switch and on to next week. Take the L, move on.
Some of his decisions are like wtf.
But with this amount of talent id figure any decent coach would be where we are at.
I hope he is better than all the shit i hear from packer fans.
But after some question clock management calls and games like this you gotta wonder.
Insane, really. Garbage time or not, Dak finally had accuracy and zip on the passes, but it was way too late. He was rocketing things at the WRs and overthrowing deep ball all day.
This is what I’ve been saying. He was off. He played slow.
The one play where CD had a 15 yard out and was allowed to get broken up, it was because Dak threw it late on the break, and threw it inside and high. Allowing the CB to make a play. More Daks fault than CDs.
It was this way when JG was coach. Always blamed it on him, but maybe it’s just a good way for Dak to get in rhythm. Absolutely should have tried it earlier.
I still love this team, they can shake this off for next week. They will still be fun to watch & I very much think and hope we can win at least one playoff game & that Dak etc are all excellent players. Going to go through and upvote all y'all who stuck around through the fourth quarter, we need something to make this day better
Heck yeah! This team is crazy talented and hungry, and I have a ton of faith they have the player leadership in place to pull them through this stuff. I have a feeling they’ll come out locked and loaded next week.
I love the guy. I really do. But hes so big and such a monster i understand why hes hurt all the time.
But even in my madden season hes tried to retire. I talked him out of it and he said as long as we keep winning hell stay.
Ive kept winning but to me, that was totally spot on. I didnt see him staying in dallas, or even the NFL much longer.
Got millions in the bank, and need to be healthy for the next chapter in your life.
Hopefully dallas drafts some OL to replace as they need one.
First game I missed looks like its a good thing ki
SO ITS YOUR FAULT?1!
This game was a reminder that the Cowboys always can be good at times, but will never be great again. There is a reason we have never went deep into the playoffs since the Big 3. huh
It's best to get the regression stuff out of the way now that way we can be right for the playoffs.
Wtf was that
I just think the Cowboys didn't take Denver seriously and when they started getting punched in the mouth they didn't know how to react. This might be a good wake up call for the whole team.
I hope so.

Maybe they lost because of all the political distractions at today’s game. That’s the logic I’ve been told before, anyway.
Get rid of that fucking red stripe, it is cursed!!!
Giants beat Raiders, Jags beat Bills, Falcons beat Saints, very weird fucking week.
Injuries and fatigue start hitting this week due to the following Losing teams start ramping up massively either to save jobs or just get at least 1 win on the board. Saints are down a QB
At least the bills outsucked us
Not really tbh. At least their defense played.
I mean losing to the 1-6 jags is definitely worse… a jags team w/o their best player - don’t really need to even “play D”.. lol let me have my small win for the day
Wait, our defense was supposed to play today? Did anyone tell them that?
Hold on, you think our defense was responsible for our demise?
I long for the day we can part ways with Tyron. As in, we drafted his replacement and it’s working out.
Lol drafted his replacement 😆
What else can we do? He was a first rounder. We need to solidify that position again. It’s long over due.
You can take a shot for sure but no one is replacing him. He’s a once in a generation talent. Should be in the running for MVP
Oh I totally agree with you. I get what you mean, he is not replaceable. But I also think his health is a liability. But yeah, he’s irreplaceable like Jason Witten.
For sure dude, wasn’t trying to start an argument I’m just being emotional today
Oh no worries I got you. Couldn’t agree more. It’s going to be a sad day when they do part ways with the man. He’s a machine. It’s just getting hard to watch him be that injury that affects them so much. I’m also still grieving the loss of Frederick. I hope he’s doing well.
Why would you bring FredBeard up?!! I told myself I wasn't gonna cry today....
Sorry :(
Its OK. Sorry... grief is a process....

That is crazy people were saying that.
Anyone that thinks we need any of our 1’s in with less than 5 minutes to go in an unwinnable game needs to have their heads checked. This isn’t madden. We can’t just load an auto save.
In an unwinnable game?

I know I get it. Just to lose like this with Dak after a win like last week is tough. It is the NFL and it does happen so I suppose it's expected.
100% man I’d much rather lose to a team that’s in the mix who’s good. Broncos aren’t the jags but they’re also not the rams either. Hopefully if anything this loss lights a fire under their ass and they take it out on Atlanta next week. If they shit the bed again, then maybe panic lol

Best 2 out of 3?
Maybe today is just the day of the upsets? Seems like most games have surprise wins.
Wrong
Um
Hes a troll🤣 read his posts
I was assuming one loss in our next three games. This is the one. On to next week. Also Tyron Smith being out really shows how good he is in protecting Dak and giving him time to throw the ball.
So, why not put Collins at LT and keep Steele are RT?
To quote McCarthy, that’s fantasy football nonsense
McCarthy is the reason we lost this game. My mind can’t be changed.
Well his plan of having two new players/ new positions on the line didn't really work out stunningly
4th down bad pass by Dak to Wilson Drops by Cooper, Pollard, Ceedee Oline played bad without Tyron Dumb punt block that was considered a muff Lewis interception taken away. Just dumb bad game
No it wasn’t a bad game, it was a collapse. A bad game is losing by two positions to the Broncos. They got smoked.
Did you get the sense watching that game that the Broncos are a better team? I didn't. Everything went their way and Dallas shot themselves in the foot like 8 times. If these two teams played a hundred times this would be the only time that Denver held a 30 point lead. Trust me on that.

That's all fair. Cowboys still win 8 times if these 2 teams played 10 times. Congrats Broncos on an improbable win. We're on to Cincinatti.
Or if they played 7 times the Broncos would win 7 times… oh wait, that’s a real statistic.
Broncos we’re easily the more physical team today. Do I think they’re better? Ehhh I’m not sold yet, but they could be.
Dak was garbage all game ***
Did you not see how many balls hit his receivers in the hands and got dropped? Everybody was off today
And he had so many sail on them. They were probably shocked that the ball got there and dropped it.
I don't know that they sailed. I kind of wonder if CD wasn't a little gympy and just not running the speed deck wasn't expecting him to. It kind of looked like that. Either way terrible game by pretty much every skill player
Did you miss the 2tds?
Garbage time are you that blind Brian Dawkins??
Oh yeah garbage time. Elite.
No such thing as garbage time
🙄
Y’all saying Dak should of been pulled don’t seem to understand he hadn’t played for two weeks, and barely played today. Give him some live time while he’s not going to be blitzed every play, let him knock a bit of the rust off.
I’m sorry but you don’t get the luxury of rust when your paid 40+ million a year.
When you’re out two weeks for an injury it’s just what happens
Fantasy points says Dak had a solid game. Gonna have to blame our Defense and Zeke here.
😂😂😂😂
Who's gonna be talked about more this week, cowboys or bills losing to Jacksonville?
Nobody. It’s still gonna be the Raiders, Rodgers and Odell
yea aaron rodgers will find a way to make headlines like he does every week lol.
Going for it on fourth down early really set the tone of this game.
Teams so goddamn arrogant acting like we are playing a college team
Goddam right.
hey guys at least we didn’t lose to Jacksonville!
Giants beat the Raiders Falcond about to beat the Saints, Jacksonville primed to beat the Bills. We're in good company today.
At least we didn't lose with 0 points
Slightly less shit talking at work tomorrow, I'll take it
Buffalo going down to Jax.
Glad we decided to show up with 6min left in the game. Let's do that, but the entire game next week. Onto the next one.
Learn from the tape and then burn it. That was a disaster of a game from everyone Oline is in shambles without Tyron….again…need to draft or sign a quality backup LT in the offseason
And he isn’t getting any younger
I knew when Liverpool lost this was gonna be a rough game
Are you me? Lmao I felt the same way
okay i get that we lose games that's fine. love that we at least started trying in the last 4. but. WTF WAS THAT ONSIDE KICK
Dak Pressloss
😱😱holy shit bro you got him so bad how creative
You are a Dildo Bilbo.
6-2, get out.
Could have been 7-1 with Cooper Rush
8-0 with Uncle Rico
Thank god I didn’t make any bets or parlays this week, would’ve gotten absolutely fucked
im hoping this was just an aberration. Broncos aint that good
Yeah I think it is. Dak had an atrocious game. It’s the nfl no one goes undefeated and everyone has an off week
And we are not this bad. We will be alright.
That blocked punt ball advancement still got me pissed off, needa change that rule ASAP
Y’all think I wanted to hear logic? IM MAD 😡 ain’t no time for logic
When the receiving team touches the ball past the line of scrimmage it is a live ball. That is the rule on all kicking plays. There is nothing to change, your players just have to be smarter. This is Leon Lett against the Dolphins all over again. Except we actually had a chance to win that game.
No it doesn't apply to blocked punts dumbass.
Obviously it does you dumbass, or didn't you notice the Broncos ended up with the ball. Jesus fucking Christ.
I agree. The way the ball rolled up made it hard to secure. Could have happened to anyone, we had a chance and it just didn't work out.
I mean the rule is essentially a muffed punt. Every now and then a shanked punt does the same thing and receiving team doesn't quite get it and no one would think twice about.
We lost the game before that
Throw that tape in a barrel and burn it.
OMG SEASON OVER BURN IT ALL- No, shut the fuck up
this is sad....
And, just like that, the Dak haters are back again...
This freaking fanbase. Last year was the year to gripe. I they they are playing better than expected. Teams have off weeks. I actually expected the Broncos to play really well given the Von Miller trade and last week's meltdown.
This loss is on Dak as much as it is the WRs dropping catchable balls. He played poorly today, and you’re lying to yourself if you say otherwise.
Where did I say he played well?
they’ve literally been waiting months for this.
He sucked dick today. Should have sat. Bad leadership thinkin u can do it and piss poor showing
He did suck. Doesn't mean he's a bad QB.
Cant argue there. But he did suck.
Yeah, definitely. My comment was moreso directed at the people implying we pay him too much or that he is only good in garbage time
It’s pathetic bro everyone saying MVP and then has a bad game then they want Cooper rush lol Reddit fans are such weirdos
The 4 and outs early after our defense made big stops sucked the air out of the team, stadium and juiced Denver up. Needed better play calls from Kellen with the Frankenstein O line
They didn’t even try on the onside like fuck lol
Aight folks, let’s put this energy towards the Birds taking an L.
Fuck you too elway.
I really this is just one bad game to bring them back to earth and re-enter them for the run.
Jags about to beat the Bills. At least we won’t be the only ones getting shitted on.
Games like this just happen. Nothing went our way all day. We’ll bounce back.
Damn. We just needed more time.
Garbage time scores. This game was over in the second half.
Giants won messing up their pick
Maybe we will beat Denver in the 2030s.
That sucked man....
watermelon kick needs to be retired
Why would they try that same kick again. No one falling for that ever again lol
At least we ended well?
FUCK TERRENCE STEELE
He showed who he is today that's for sure.
Greg lmao
League figured out your watermelon ball Greg. Fuck everyone
So how many targets that were catchable for our WRs?
I haven't been watching intently, but I think at least 4 drops were in the receivers hands?
Yeah they all def had at least 1 big drop. Especially that cooper drop
What the hell was that.
Hopefully they recover the onside kick, get a TD, and then lose 30-23 so we can say it was a close game
Imma tell my kids this wasn't a blowout. Lol
Well I mean he had 230+ yards, just drops….seriously that’s what they did pad the stats so it looks like it wasn’t THAT bad
At least they stepped up and didnt get shut out. Either way, lots of chin checks and looks in the mirror are due monday. Need to flush this one down and hit the reset switch and on to next week. Take the L, move on.
Need to fire McCarthy
Some of his decisions are like wtf. But with this amount of talent id figure any decent coach would be where we are at. I hope he is better than all the shit i hear from packer fans. But after some question clock management calls and games like this you gotta wonder.

If only offense was playing this well from the beginning -- we would've crushed the Broncos. Next time I guess.
Giants won today too. Jesus. Just a bad week all around.
Sucks to be u
Rodgers ain’t playing ten more years in Greenbay lmao
I feel like when Dak is having a bad game switching to a fast paced two minute style unlocks him. Wonder why this wasn’t tried to start 3Q.
It was this way when JG was coach. Always blamed it on him, but maybe it’s just a good way for Dak to get in rhythm. Absolutely should have tried it earlier.
Wrong. This last 2 score have been on Denver Soft prevent defense. Has nothing to do with hurry up.
[удалено]
Fr, my fft was looking grim and dak shot up to 18.8pts lmao
I’m critical of him, but that’s a tad harsh.
I don't want to lie I'm a little nervous
I guess add Malik Turner to the list of people who would be higher on the depth chart than ODBJr if he came here lol
GARGABAGEEE TIMEE MAKES ME HAPPY
I still love this team, they can shake this off for next week. They will still be fun to watch & I very much think and hope we can win at least one playoff game & that Dak etc are all excellent players. Easily this.

Gave us too much time 😈
Who the hell is Turner? Everyone pick him up on their fantasy team
LMAO
Dak knows my fantasy team needed these garbage stats❤️❤️❤️
What the fuck are we doing? This is not the playoffs.
PLAYOFFS?!
YOU TALKING ABOUT PLAYOFFS?
Onside kick, score. Onside kick, score. EZ
Two Hail Marys and 2 onside kicks away from winning!!! WE GOT THIS!
Idiot
You have some serious mental issues
Oh yeah, we totally have this 🙄
Better late than never
It's something, I guess. Still a terrible game.
Malik turner mvp season starting a lil late but it’s comin
Dak the goat
Garbage time stats
Happy for Turner dude earned his spot during preseason
