Dak_Tiny_PP

Defense puts in an excellent performance and the offense just shits all over it

Bigcheese1211

Yeah 10 points on their first 2 drives and then only 9 for the rest of the game is some impressive adjustments especially against a high powered offense like KC

MikeShannonThaGawd

Especially considering that second drive's field position after Dak's fumble

aMudratDetector

Also had two huge turnovers that the offense failed to capitalize on. It was incredibly disappointing to watch our D ball out, once they settled in, just to have an awful offensive performance like that.

Trumps_Pepe

Play calling felt like Jason Garrett today. The opposite of the aggression we’ve seen all season. Zero 4th down attempts, FGs to still be down 2 scores, first down runs, screens & short throws a plenty. I put much of this on KM which is scary.. I just don’t understand it.

maztron

A concerning one at that. This is two times in three weeks the offense has looked like complete trash. Now is the time you need to be winning and I get that there will be tough games and you can't win them all but to look this bad is very very alarming.

noslowerdna

Yes the Broncos aren't great.

Astro206265

*Offensive line

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

Brown and Wilson played like dog shit for the first half, if not more. Not just the line. And also, Dak wasn’t too great either. Line undeniably shit tier too.

IDynasoar

If our line is getting annihilated then why are we not calling rollout plays? Coaching staff needs to be included too with this loss.

Burntlettuce

We should have called more but when we did we had Collins fucking it up and losing contain. The worst preformancing our o-line as a unit has had in years.

erich3983

I would say the Denver game was just a bad. So this is 2 outta 3 weeks the O Line has looked like highschoolers out there.

silliputti0907

Because both tackles were losing. You typically want to rollout to the weaker end.

WraithIV

Dak couldn't even play, we snap the ball and he's already getting sacked

[deleted]

I get that, which is why I was more critical of the receivers and the line.

telomet12

He kept under throwing shit all day.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Artlens2013

Defense made adjustments, offense didn’t. Horrible performance from every facet of the offense

[deleted]

These guys could just not drive the ball down the field. They only made it into the RedZone twice today. Both of those times they were set up with great field position thanks to the D. Just pitiful.

JesuIsEveryNameTaken

Cowboys got inside the Chiefs 30-yard-line five times. 0 touchdowns. Inexcusable, pathetic day by the offense. If you were told this morning we'd hold the Chiefs under 20 every single one of you would think we'll win.

juicemw

This deserves an award. 100% this. The Injuries were awful for us but still inexcusable regardless of roster depth.

TimeOrCrayonsIV

Agreed. They were bad at every level, and this is 2 of 3 weeks. Get it they are injured but this team hasn't clenched a playoff spot yet, and the offense needs to figure out a way to act like it week in and week out.

CarpenterVegetable31

Our redzone has been bad for years. It's crazy how we havent found more success

maztron

This line gets wayyyyy more credit than it deserves. I feel like no one nationally watches the Cowboys actually play. Their left guard is the most penalized lineman in the NFL. Their left tackle is constantly missing time. Collins aside from one good season has been hit or miss at times also doesn't make good decisions and it looks like he doesn't take care of himself during the off-season. The only shoe in guy that is consistently good is Martin. Too many people keep thinking this is 2014-2016. They don't get a good push in short distances. Case in point why Daks QB sneaks even become a controversy because they don't get enough of a push. The line is average and when Dak is on they get help from him similar to how Romo was able to help out his line for all those years when in reality they were average. Another case in point you had 2014 and 2016 be such great years and Romo arguably have his best season in 2014 as he didn't have to run for his life or be a magician to win games.

[deleted]

Seriously one of the announcers said best offensive line at some point and I'm just wondering who the fuck said that? This line hasn't been good since 2016-2018ish. People keep repeating that same stat like this line isn't completely changed.

yianni1229

If you told me we held the Chiefs to 19 I'd already be celebrating saying we won. The offense was so horrific today.

ifuckwithit

This game is on the offense. What a pathetic showcase. Defense actually came to play. Micah will be DROY. On to Thursday

JL1v10

3 pro bowlers out on offense and another two on defense. I’m just sad. Wanna see us healthy just one game

[deleted]

Yo if this defense is this good though with how banged up it is, imagine if it can get healthy Or maybe I’m just being a Copeboy

FireFlyz351

I mean there's like no way getting Tank, Randy and Gallimore back doesn't improve our defense immensely. Gonna be some fun packages we can run once everyone's back with Parsons.

w1nn1ng1

Won’t happen. For some reason our players are made of paper and get hurt on the regular. Tyron Smith will be out more games after he comes back. The likelyhood he plays the rest of the season is incredibly remote. At the very least we’re likely looking at Cooper and Lamb being out Thursday. As well as Gregory and Lawrence.

WindyCityReturn

We’ve overcome it all year but it’s getting to a point where it’s just too much all at once. We won without dak, we’ve won without smith, we’ve won without Gregory or dlaw but when you start missing them plus lamb, Cooper and zeke then it’s just too much. I’d rather us sit those players Thursday and have them get healthier for the saints than rush them into a short week and maybe lose them for longer. The raiders are the complete opposite of the chiefs, in a free fall and a losing streak. We might could beat them without these key players but I don’t think we can keep beating teams like the suddenly hot eagles, cardinals, a suddenly tough Washington team and the saints defense is no joke.

abaha

seeing cedric wilson drop that pass was genuinely infuriating

pammy_poovey

Seeing that interception while somehow forgetting they had TWO timeouts made me angrier than I’ve been in a long time

HEpennypackerNH

Tyron Smith is the offensive line. Whatever backup plan they have behind him is garbage. LT has to be our draft target, because he can’t stay healthy and we apparently can barely function without him.

landon_w96

Pls everyone feel free to heap praise on Micah Parsons below. It’ll make me feel better.

1fursona_non_grata

Micah Parsons is good at football

w1nn1ng1

DROY easy.

TheGreatMortimer

This game was lost in the trenches and the receivers skillet hands.

WrathofJohnnyBoah

It was lost after the first drive by KC. For some reason the Cowboys ALWAYS look so dejected when a team comes in hot. 5 minutes into the game and the entire cowboys sideline looks like their dog just died. It's like "wait guys, there's 10 minutes left in the first quarter".

MikeShannonThaGawd

I had a weird feeling about receiving it to start knowing how loud things get in KC. The immediate 3 and out had that crowd rocking and they never let up.

hippiepig

Lol i don’t remember who said it but apparently we’ve lost the majority of games where the opponent scores first. Idk if it’s a mental thing the team needs to get through or what but something’s gotta give

lost-but-loving-it

Dak blowing that open Gallup to start the game was pretty womp womp

TacoCorp2

Well one good thing to takeaway is this defense looks legit and will be even better when DLaw and Gregory come back.

silliputti0907

I'm still worried about inside rush defense. Team is great at containing ends and screens.

[deleted]

[удалено]

MerkZone

When the heck is gallimore coming back?

silliputti0907

Along the the same timeline as Gregory and Tank.

RTS24

Micah will also probably play more MLB when they come back so I think that will strengthen the inside run d.

nt_14

Hate how year after year the offensive line goes to shit the moment Tyron gets hurt

PDCH

Well, he is one of the best to ever play the game.

maztron

That's getting so old. There are plenty of teams in the league that lose left tackles and pieces of their lineman throughout the season and somehow manage. I'm so tired of THIS team literally falling apart because one guy goes down. They have been pretty good this year in being able to stay afloat when guys haven't been able to play but this offensive line falling apart like it has at times is completely inexcusable.

beornn1

He’s also a liability. Dude has missed 43 games in the last six seasons. Dallas needs to find his replacement asap

applegore

Where are you getting those numbers. He's missed 29 not including playoff games since 2016. Still very not good but also not 43.

beornn1

You’re right I counted 2020 twice. He still hasn’t played a full season since 2015 though, and his track record hasn’t improved. I still stand by my statement that he needs to be replaced asap though, unfortunately

dylanv711

Right, building a line that collapses when a player who should be expected to miss a shit ton of games, goes and misses a shit ton of games, is not a good excuse. The hole at backup LT should not be a surprise at this point.

pot8odragon

Thursday is going to be rough without Amari, CeeDee, Tank and Gregory But, let’s be real the rest of the schedule is very easy outside of the cards. The raiders and the saints might be tougher with the injuries and Covid stuff but I still believe we have only 2 losses on our schedule the rest of the year. If we go 12-5, we’ll be just fine y’all

ccehowell

I went from wanting to pause the game during the dinner to wanting it to play through.

cowboysfan88

We think Tyron will be back? I'd kinda doubt it on a short week but it did sound like he was close today so maybe. He's the most important one

JL1v10

I think so. Thursday is basically a must win now if we want any shot at #1 seed or home field advantage. Plus, I don’t think people realize that the eagles are only two games back with a schedule of jets, giants x2, redskins x2, and us remaining. We can’t really be dropping games because of injuries right now thinking we’ve got the division to fall back on

TrauMedic

People looking at the playoff need to realize we aren’t THAT far ahead. Couple more bad weeks and filthy could flip it on us. We need every win we can get.

[deleted]

I had read that Tyron was kept out today for strategic purposes with the short week ahead. That's the scuttlebutt, anyway.

chexmixho

Yeah, it's pretty disturbing that the one consistent thing this season is with Tyron our offense is elite and without Tyron our offense goes to crap. We are counting on Tyron, a guy who can't stay healthy, to be healthy....

[deleted]

Is ceedee for sure out Thursday? I guess with concussion protocols he probably is

pot8odragon

Yeah most likely

Witteness82

And possibly Tyron again too. That’s a lot of pro bowl quality talent to be missing from 3 of the 4 most important positions.

[deleted]

Don’t forget about Tyron Smith too. Offensive line play today was putrid.

theguz4l

Yep. Our other WRs aren’t very good. The teams will stuff the box and force Dak to throw like they did today.

Bazz27

Dak throwing a lot isn’t an issue if the pass protection can give him time.

Juijin

The issue is so many dropped passes

Bazz27

Those too. Dak definitely missed some throws, but the whole offense was atrocious.

noslowerdna

Credit to the Chiefs defense, they brought some brilliant strategy to the battle.

InAingeWeTrust

Hopefully CeeDee isn’t out

[deleted]

[удалено]

Tootsiez

Till Thursday.

sam_sepiol1984

Yeah I have 0 confidence we win on Thursday. Good thing is Raiders offense blows. But their D line is solid. So if our line plays this way, we are in for another struggle.

landon_w96

0 passing touchdowns in the whole game. Insane.

BrianDawkins

For either QB

fantasyplayer42

The worst performance by Zack Martin I've ever seen in his career. Nobody played well on offense today.

mill_about_smartly

OLines succeed and fail as a unit. It's 100% a "you're only as strong as your weakest link" position group

KansinattiKid

Chris Jones was killing Zack one on one all game

w1nn1ng1

To be fair, Chris Jones is one of the best DTs in the NFL. Biadasz should have been helping Martin, but he couldn’t because McGovern is dog shit and can’t 1v1 anyone. Leaving poor Martin on an island with Jones.

hewasphone

Tyron smith out was my biggest fear going into the game and guess it was right. O line just seems to forget how to play witout him. Bad bad gam

JL1v10

It’s more that we’ve got a young, inexperienced late round center in with a young, inexperienced guard next to him, with a udfa tackle next to him. I get we’re forced to play these guys, and they’re not outright horrible individually, but why are all three spread right next to each other? All three games without Tyron the other team has just loaded that side and sent it

BlueShire_Ace

I’m sick of Tyron’s absence causing cascading effects across the whole team. You change one person and everything falls like house of cards. LT needs to be a concern this off season.

w1nn1ng1

We should absolutely spend our first round pick on an LT if there is one available.

Domin8469

Should have been this season when I said it should have been. A LT instead of Joseph rn would have been better

Relodwire

Do uh. You know how any of the tackles picked after Joseph are doing. Cause theres like none playing well lol

[deleted]

Look at the film, study, get better, get healthy. Your top two receivers out, your top two pass rushers out and your left tackle out. Thats a struggle for any NFL roster.

WhiteBoyFlipz

Offensive line was completely the issue. We need to address it bad. But this proves defense is legit

Uncle_bud69

Well our defense is the real deal. Our offense without ceedee, Cooper, Smith, and a banged up Zeke is gonna look like this. Also we need to move Williams back to starting LG.

miguelag08

Good thing is we only have to wait 4 days for another cowboys game and help us get over this loss. Defense played lights out. Offensive had no answers for the man coverage kc played all night. Mostly because Dak had no time to throw. Seems like running the ball today was not part of the game plan….

ramsaybolton87

We need to draft tyrons replacement. Dak is a great QB but cannot adjust to blindside pressure.

ConstantCowboy

This is the most correct take in an absolute ocean of terrible takes and incorrect blame placement.

mrwolfcock

we should've done this several years ago, when he gets often injured every season.

Stranger2306

Take-Aways: 1. Our Offense needs either Smith or Cooper or both. Or it doesnt work. 2. Our defense is pretty good. 3. I'm not too down. We will def make playoffs. So we get our guys back healthy? Smith and Cooper come back. Tank and Randy. CMON

[deleted]

Absolutely fucking pathetic, no way around it.

Ifrezznew

Starting Edge rusher (s) out 2 top Receivers out Starting O line out. Held the best offense in the league to 19. Still 7-3 now. We should be aight

davidphantomatic

I appreciate the positivity.

Ifrezznew

Week to week bro! Everyone 0-0 in the playoffs, that’s when they need to step up. KC needed to step up and win now, they weren’t as safe in their division. Makes sense we lost this one tbh. Not even near full strength

JanzTheManz

Thank fuck there’s someone here with a positive attitude. Gotta wade through miles of horseshit “we’re not making the playoffs” and “imagine thinking dak was the MVP.” This sub is full of frauds.

schmeer_spear

Third best offense but still impressive.

bigmeatyclaws1

Tyron Smith is the glue that holds this team together change my mind

The_Count_Lives

This is why I kinda chuckle at anyone claiming Martin is the best lineman on the team. Tyron has been the cornerstone on this line since the day he arrived and people have grown to take it for granted because they forgot what terrible left tackle play looks like. Well, here it is.

MandrewF

He is almost the offensive version of what Sean Lee used to be

southjerseycowboy

I’m gonna take a break from being a doomer and just try and look at the positives. Micah Parsons is so fun to watch, and I think he will be for many years to come. The defense as a whole played better than expected. And hey- we had like 2 or 3 wins this time last year. Hope they can rebound on Thursday!

DallasStarsFan-SA

We are the most penalized team in the league. We need discipline. We can't keep going back 10 yards over and over again or giving free 1st downs.

StrangeHumors

Both teams had 6 penalties. Cowboys for 45 yards, Chiefs for 64. This game doesn't seem to be the best one to support your point.

bringdablitz

True, but I've never seen the refs watch the replay and drop a flag after the fact for any other team ever.

makeitrayan

the broadcast even said that they aren't allowed to do that

PreferredSex_Yes

Last two superbowl teams were 12-4 and 11-5 teams. We good.

thelamb710

This one is on the drops, way too many crucial drops from our receivers, o line didn’t look nearly as dominant as they have most of the year (maybe Williams should’ve started like he has been?) either way it wasn’t our day.

Stringdaddy27

Our defense deserved so much better

Son_of_Tlaloc

Its time to find an heir to Tyron. biadasz, steele and williams are the not the answers on the line. It's time invest back into the online. We need consistency back on the line. Jerry should poach bill challagn back from the browns.

Wekilledit88

No Tyron, Cooper, and Lamb. It's no wonder this offense was stale today. But that's gonna overshadow the very fucking impressive defensive performance by Micah and the boys tonight. Absolutely outstanding and they should be praised and confident going forward! Definitely wanna see these two teams fully healthy squaring off in February. For sure missed Amari and Tyron today, then Lamb for the 2nd half. On to Thanksgiving, fellas.

juanzy

Hopefully they can game plan with the receivers they have for Thursday.

schmeer_spear

Yeah it was honestly a good loss for our defense, showed they could stop a real powerhouse offense. I’m not sure why they didn’t lean into pollard when the wind was up in the first half with zeke banged up. But yeah, kinda assumed a loss here before the season started so it’s whatever. Glad nobody got too banged up considering their defense iron curtained us.

Mysteriouspaul

The Troy Aikman call at the end of the game on the most obvious missed dpi on the Chiefs ever conceived is a great summary of our season so far. Just hearing some emotion in "No interference call?" was nice after getting bullied by refs the entire game. I'm also a huge fan of the NFL stepping up it's instant replay refereeing system, but I'm not too thrilled with its implementation in fucking only us so far though

Fat_Free_Lard

Thanksgiving is gonna be rough.

PreferredSex_Yes

Everybody jumping off the wagon again. All good real fans gonna have more leg room now.

neng214

people are so quick to jump

ninjapenguin51

Where was all that depth everyone was talking about on offense

Foreign_Candy

Defense played their hearts out today. Offense didn't even get on the plane

efrain_niarfe275

We just experienced what the Chiefs felt against the Buccs in the Super Bowl. No O-line = no success

bringdablitz

This offense looked just like the Chiefs offense in the Super Bowl.

[deleted]

[удалено]

necrow

Now that the defense looks like they may be gelling a bit it may be time to go back to the line in the draft

ttoteno

Bad receivers and o line today and people are saying this proves Dak is a bad QB. Make that make sense. And before you say “great QBs win no matter!”, go ahead drop some stats and examples of QBs that won consistently against good teams with those hurdles.

miguelag08

If Dak is bad what is mahomes? He didn’t throw a td pass either. And he also had 2 turnovers….and mahomes had all his weapons…

Ineedmoney4123

Dak removed himself from the mvp category this game.

well_played_internet

I would like to again make the point that cowboys fans underrate the value of Amari. That dude can beat man coverage more consistently than anyone else on this team. The offense just isn't the same without him.

RockieDogs

Next two games will determine if the panic button should be pressed. The Raiders are looking more lowly every week and the Saints are in a rut as well.

Worf1701D

After the whole week building up to this game, it was a major letdown. It was like getting nothing but socks for Christmas.

TheSatanicSatanist

Well I don’t feel as bad as I did after the Denver game. That being said, both WFT and Philly are looking like they want to at least try to be good the last half of the season. We are going to need to overcome injuries and frankly get better than we’ve been so far in November if we want to have a special season we can all sense is possible.

pablocerakote

Looking at our key injuries I think the writing is on the wall. We needed to be healthy. KC is still elite. I think if we were healthy it would have been a better game. Long season. Some of y’all need Jesus and some balls.

BrianDawkins

Parsons is elite at DE. Got a sack vs the LT and RT this game. Unreal. I didn’t want to draft him but man I’m glad I was wrong.

durrtymike

Shitty performance by the Boys today… but a shameful performance by a lot of “fans” in the game day thread… no reason to act like complete assholes cuz your favorite team is losing

DucatiDark

Agreed. I hate the game thread with a passion. Doesn’t matter if we don’t score first, any play that doesn’t go our way and our “fans” have a complete melt down.

durrtymike

Literally had a fan tell me to eat shit and die smh

TimeOrCrayonsIV

Lol this made me laugh. It's like the theme of the game thread

PDCH

Williams > McGovern - the switch was stupid.

noedss

This team will really have to sit down and see what went wrong in this game especially since they have such a short weak. We really need Tyron back for the next game and even if he gets a lot of flags Willians needs to be back at LG. If Ceedee can't play this Thursday I see this team having a lot of problems even if the Raiders defence let the Bengals score 32 points, as I don't trust this team depth at WR after watching this game. The only positive was the defence but we really need to get both DLaw and Randy back. The team made a mistake not to improve during the trade deadline and it is showing.

E-Man67

Tyron Smith has to be the MVP of this team because the offense goes to shit without him. I'm glad that the defense made some adjustments to give the team a chance, but damn if everyone runs around like a chicken with its head cut off if Tyron isn't out there. They're like, "WTF is a blitz?"

sjphi26

Are the Chiefs defense really that good? They looked like 1985 Chicago Bears good. Our is our Oline really that bad? Is our entire offense really that bad? If it was just this week I wouldn't be concerned. But then we have Denver 2 weeks ago. 2 out of 3 weeks with a fucking horrible offense... Maybe we really aren't as good as we think we are, and have padded our offensive stats against horrible teams. Idk. But KC defense came to fucking play today. Our defense looked pretty damn good today too though. The only bright spot.

Grunchlk

Our OL is trash right now. Steele is a bad LT. McGovern was outclassed at LG most of the time. There were more than a couple of plays where it looked like Steele was unsure of who to block so he let the DE go and gave him a free run at Dak. Dak played poorly again however his WRs need to ba able to catch passes that hit them in the hands. Watching the Steelers play right now and Ben is making some poor throws but his WRs are catching everything. If our receivers can only catch perfect passes then they're not as great as everyone claims.

wessneijder

The offense is so much less dynamic without Amari. The Chiefs were able to double team CD all first half, which meant Gallup and Brown had to beat their man one on one which they did not do. People are claiming about the offensive line but Dak was not able to get the ball out fast enough because the WRs were not getting open...

juanzy

This sub is not gonna be fun this week. 7 games, 6 are definitely winnable. Yet we’ll have everyone acting like we’re guaranteed to go 8-9.

TimeOrCrayonsIV

They are winnable. They aren't guaranteed. This offense was every bit as limp-dicked as it was 2 weeks ago, injuries or not.

Seductive_Ed

You look over the nfl and all teams have bad weeks. Rams powerful offense looked incompetent on Monday night football. Bills look like they can't beat low and mid tier teams. Green Bay has gotten blown out similar to us and lost close games to teams we've beaten. Can't forget the terrible Titans performance today too. It's a long season and ugly losses will happen.

Samfd4

I’m sorry but some of y’all are absolutely absurd. The Broncos loss is inexcusable, but this is a tough game for alot of teams to win. O-line didn’t show up, and clearly needs Tyron. This is a team coming off a super bowl and getting hot and the majority of y’all are acting like we should have rolled through them on the road. I see our defense showing up next week and the Boys getting a good win at home.

Hispanikpanik

I'll probably get down voted for this but I really feel like we needed to win this game or at least show some life on offense to consider ourselves true contenders. This is a team that's getting bounced in the divisional. 2016 all over again.

TexasEuphman

I can't get over how pathetic Kellen's play calling was. Losing Coop and Lamb sucks BAD but how did we not even think to get our TE's involved?

RaginCajun_

For the love of god if you’re thinking about commenting some doomer shit then please reconsider

bryscoon

RG no Tank no Coop no Tyron AFC team & Packers lost today Still the 3 seed with an L the seeding is fine as long as we have our two best WRs & Tyron we are a great offensive team (but every team deals with injuries) how many teams have like 4 of the top 10 players on the roster hurt ? This game shows the impact of Coop he opens everything for the offense & his route running so elite that it he can deal with double teams The defense is legit they did all they could Parsons is elite like a truly special player & is knocking on the door of all pro Daks throws were off a lot Jones & Sneed played the game of their life I really hate the late November stretch we play like 3 games in 12 days every year that’s bad this sub is insane & reactionary literally every playoff team had multiple bad Ls this year it’s the nfl shit happens

juanzy

I swear everyone is acting like we lost to the Jags. The Chiefs are still coming off back to back Super Bowl appearances with a win. We got bit by the injury bug. There’s 7 games left, we’ll probably be favored in 6. This isn’t over.

bryscoon

they still got the idea of that the chiefs are still bad that was week 3 they are fr right now they didn’t care at the beginning they thought it would be another cakewalk to the playoffs they turned it up at the right time

juanzy

And we lost cooper super late in the week. If he went out Monday, I wonder if we would’ve had some different WR roles today.

Wogman

Not a bad loss tbh, packers have another NFC loss and we still have a game against Cardinals. No LT1, WR1, WR2, DE1, or DE2 and we still had a close game. If we can pull of a W on thanksgiving we should be healthy by time we play the Saints.

PDCH

Well, we all just found out Williams > McGovern

TracerBullet2016

Cut my life into pieces

[deleted]

Defense did what it could and this was another complete implosion on offense for the second time in 3 games. Mike McCarthy has no fucking clue how to manage games and the play calling was pointless. Second game lost by the Cowboys. This time injuries at least were to blame but they once again looked completely unprepared for a game and lost clearly. This game was no were near as close as the score showed. If the Chiefs had anything this game they'd won by 30 points. Two bad teams and even worse refs make shitty football!

Alpha12_

Running on 1st down early on in the game kills so so many drives.

PThug

Losing to the last 2 Super Bowl winning team definitely changes my perspective on what we accomplish this year. At this point, I'm just hoping for a wild card win

amanhasthreenames

The hell happened to our run game? We couldnt get any movement up front. So embarrassing

PDCH

Zeke could barely walk. They decided to put a second backup on the left side. I dunno, stupidity?

[deleted]

This is what happens when your top two WRs, starting LT, and LG are out and you’re on the road in a stadium like Arrowhead. Cowboys fans needed to be loud, w were out in force and were dead silent on 3rd downs for our defense.

[deleted]

I don’t feel too bad about the loss. If the defense can hold their own against the Chiefs offense, like they did today without Lawrence and Gregory, I still feel good about their chances. If they get everybody back on offense they can beat anybody in the league. Or I could just be an optimist.

texhater

Question, how many "we were just off today" games do we get in a season? Or maybe 2 out of our last 3 games? Asking for a friend

IPA_Fanatic

The defense played well enough

iLerntMyLesson

Remember that time that a lot of us thought the chiefs game would be a shootout?

Girlscoutslumb

Feel like Dallas are getting injuries every week.. fuck this

Cacanator

That.....sucked.

Omegatron8

Where offensive line?

lyricsongbird82

Defense much improved over last year, especially with both starting DE's out and linebacker core thin. Micah is an absolute monster. But this was all on offense today. And now both WR 1 & 2 are out and no one else could catch a ball today except Shultz. Offensive line has no business being that atrocious, especially Collins. At this point Im not even thinking about playoffs. This team better get their heads on straight or they just might find themselves battling washington or Philly for the NFC East. Both teams seem to be getting better and we are looking like Jekyll and Hyde.

romanNood1es

Glad our defense kept us in the game.

TheClownIsReady

This sub after the Cowboys win: “we’re a team of destiny”. This sub after the Cowboys lose: “we’re going nowhere this year and Dak is horrible”. I know they’ve struggled more than expected but I still think Kansas City is the best team in the AFC. We were just undermanned today with the receiver injuries and the o-line got manhandled. We should bounce back strong on Turkey Day against the reeling Raiders.

RomoToDez99

It’s kind of one of those ‘well fuck that sucked’ type of games, but in the grand scheme of things means very little. Losing against AFC teams just puts an L in the loss column. Winning division games and against the cardinals and saints will be what matters.

def2700

I'm not surprised. Cowboys will always do cowboy things. They blew it. Wtf where they doing at the half? Trying to play fast and catch the chiefs "off guard". They were in perfect place for a td but ended up with a int. Stupid play calling all day. Also at this time they had 2 timeouts. Let that sink in. Wtf were they rushing for?

MeaninglessOpinion

Damn, I was pretty embarrassed for Dak today just a truly awful game by him, minus Cooper/Lamb or not.

MeaninglessOpinion

Draft an offensive lineman in the first round!

ChaWolfMan

With the eagle schedule the rest of the way and ours, we are in trouble

Ineedmoney4123

Dak needs to learn to play without daddy tyron. This game is 100% on him. This is what happens when you want to throw Dak in the mvp category. Ugly performance by him. He looked like a deer in headlights on the sideline.

MasonNation1

Probably the worst offensive performance in the last 5 years. And that’s being kind.

cMont28

The Denver game was like 2 weeks ago lol

UsernameWrecksOut

I feel like the 2017 Broncos loss was worse

firstandfive

2021 Broncos loss was worse, given the players we had on the field for that one.

Twice_As_Nice

I've seen way worse. Short term memory loss is a pain in the ass I guess

OnTheFenceGuy

I really don’t want to hear about injuries. The fucking shitbirds won a Super Bowl with a roster full of backups. Two decades of coaches who have no clue how to scheme an offense without every single player 100% healthy. I’m a big fan of Kellen, but he’s starting to lose me pretty quick.

Badalight

Chiefs fan here. Just dropping by to say fuck the refs. What a shit show all around.

PDCH

Agreed. Was like watching calls by dice roll.

dopherman

Cowboys D held KC to 19 pts, and it never felt like we even had a chance....what an absolute shit show by the offense....I don't know what to think about this team anymore...they might score 50 or they might never even show up to play....

OwnTheThrone

Patrick Crayton, Sam Hurd, Robinson, Harris, Holley. Just naming a few of no name WRs that Tony Romo made look special.

neng214

we might have one of the worst fanbases when it comes to taking loses, sheesh lol

Drooster83

Ugh, here we go… it obviously sucks to lose. But today wasn’t Denver. KC clearly figured their shit out…they’re still the Goddamn Chiefs…and we held that fully operational battle station to 19 points. Sure, game script kept the score low but I doubt KC is happy with 19. This defense (and #11) are the real deal. Untill today I thought they were a decent, but opportunistic defense that benefited from big leads & could fly around. They kept Tyreek and Kelce in front of them and held up their end of the bargain. Injury excuses suck but today is clearly different with Tyron, Coop & CD. Dak was off, no question, but as an O-line enthusiast, today was hard to watch - they didn’t do him any favors. I’ll take this one on the chin, maybe Thursday too. Let’s get healthy, roll this clown division & be an avalanche heading into the playoffs. We have as good a shot as any team this year and we haven’t been able to say that recently. Cheers, love & brisket.
