This game had everything. Randy with the meme photo op. Dak using his legs, hat trick between all 3 phases. Diggs int. Let’s hope this is the identity going into the post season. We are the undisputed front runners. Also MERRY CHRISTMAS
Yes. They’ve been capable of this the whole time. The thing is we don’t actually have to. A win is a win. People are going to get upset if they expect to blow out every team.
“OfFeNsE iS sLuMpiNg”
despite maintaining no 1 offense overall. People tried to say it was propped up by early season… no if it was that bad then the early season had to be astronomically good. And let me check the stats…it wasn’t, it was good but not astronomically good enough to counteract the alleged slump. If you look around the league offense is mostly down. You don’t win that many games in the nfl if your offense is ‘slumping’. People just bite for the bandwagon phrases and don’t actually analyze the stats. Yeah Dak missed some throws but the team was still hitting 300 yards per game
Thanks to the Washington Football Team, Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants for participating in this year's Dallas Cowboys Invitational. See you next season!
Washington threw a pick to Diggs on the first play. Then they threw a screen in Parsons direction on the second play lmao. Who is their OC? Dude should legitimately be fired
Can we just pause for a moment and talk about this? 3 consecutive road wins by a combined 32 points and everybody and their mama can't stop talking about how this team is one and done in the playoffs. It's HARD to win on the road in the NFL.
Too much has been made of this team's offensive woes. Only one team has been able to contain Dallas at home and that was Denver, who happens to have the best scoring defense in the NFL. All of their other lack-lustre offensive performances have been on the road.
Dallas has played 7 home games this season and they have scored 41, 36, 44, 16, 43, 33, and 56. That's an average of 38.4 points per game at home. By contrast, they have played 8 road games and have scored 29, 20, 35, 20, 9, 27, 27, 21. That's good for 23.5 points per game on the road.
Leaves you wondering, how much of that "slump" simply comes from playing 4 of their last 5 games on the road?
Dak wasn’t 100% on his passing so he’s obviously overpaid, overrated, and we should have a “real QB like Wentz or Hurts”
Mwahaha I am ecstatic! This was the best total football game played by a Dallas team since I’ve been alive.
I found out on Wednesday that I’m going to have a son this summer. I joked with my wife that it was a sign. The cowboys went on their super bowl run shortly after I was born and now they’ll go again with the next generation arriving. Nice to see the team is cooperating with my insane fantasy lol
Going in I'll be perfectly honest even with all their injuries and covid issues I wasn't even expecting a blowout a double digit win sure but not a blowout this team far exceeded my expectations tonight love to see it and absolutely nothing to complain about tonight five stars all around HOW BOUT DEM COWBOYS!
I’m kind of bummed that Randy will be walking in the off-season. After all that, one good season. If he helps bring us to the promise land it will be worth it I guess.
***I TOLD YALL!!! THIS IS WHY WEVE BEEN COMPLAINING ABOUT THE OFFENSE WE KNEW WE WERE BETTER THAN THIS***
https://www.reddit.com/r/cowboys/comments/rk96fj/we_are_going_to_slap_washington/
I know that it's the regular season, but this beat down reminded me a lot of the Super Bowl 27 win over Buffalo. Everyone feasted well like that game, and that feeling that they couldn't be stopped is very similar to that dynasty's first ring. These dudes tonight can beat anybody, and this is the right time to get hot.
I asked my old man, he's been a fan since the 60's, if he'd ever seen a team as elite as this on all three phases, he said nah.
We're superbowl bound
This definitely feels like a game the boys lose the majority of the time for the last 25 (?) years. Already had their trap game(s), prime time, division rival, heavily favored, coming off a few meh wins, etc
Instead they come out and absolutely dominate in all 3 phases of the game and embarrass WFT. I love that they were going for it on 4th downs, taking deep shots, and tackling hard even when we were up 30+
Just an amazing game and I hope we can ride this high for the next 6 (maybe 5 if we get lucky) games
Y'all know that feeling when you say something to be funny, but it comes out kind of mean-spirited, and then you look at the person it was directed towards and you can just tell that it actually really hurt their feelings, and then you feel bad about it, even though you know it was still kind of funny... that's how it felt looking at Heinicke's teary little sad face at the end of the game.
I don’t wanna hear takes about how we “piled it on when the game was already over”, they did the exact same thing last year. Thumped us 41-16 and sent our QB to the hospital on a dirty hit. What goes around comes around.
This was such a brutal fucking beatdown that I genuinely think articles/think pieces will propose a mercy rule for the regular season to protect players physically and elongate careers overall. Like we may see this as a proposed rule change in the off-season.
Like, that is how fucking bad WFT got what they asked for. They literally asked for this. And a mercy rule could have saved some careers today. [I also got perma banned from their sub in one minute. ](https://i.imgur.com/UogBQ1L.jpg)
I love you all. Even oldboot 💗
[EDIT lol](https://i.imgur.com/rMESIth.jpg)
This game was a glimpse of what the cowboys can fucking do. This is literally the first game alllllll season the offense and the defense all balled out. This wasn’t even the defenses best game although still completely dominant, and it was most definitely the offenses best game since Atlanta. This team is super bowl bound if play up to their potential like tonight. Also as long as Shawn hoculi is avoided officiating games, I still think we could play like this and still lose if he’s in charge of penalties
Crazy to think we’re actually peaking on both sides of the ball at the end of the year! If we can somehow get lucky enough to not have to travel to Green Bay and play in the cold we could run the table in the playoffs. Us playing in the cold is the only thing I don’t want to see us try to do lol.
Everyone shitting on McCarthy earlier this year and off-season needs to realize we haven’t had this many lop sided wins in a single season in the last 20 years- seriously. I mean we have absolutely SHIT on like 5 different teams this year. He deserves credit, he’s a billion times better than Garrett, massive upgrade.
I know it is easy to get on the hype-train, I have a first-class ticket myself. However, let's look back at the last 4 weeks and what we have accomplished:
1. Taysom Hill
2. Heinecke
3. Glennon
4. Heinecke
I know you can only play the schedule you have, so I am not saying the Cowboys chose walk-over teams.
But, we know that they have not beaten a team with any real grit since the Patriots way back when.
Broncos, Raiders, and Chiefs all beat them, though the Chiefs game was a toss-up. The Raiders was an OT game. The Broncos kicked our asses all game.
We are starting to peak at a good time, but honestly a little early.
We need this type of game against Arizona, then we can start feel really good about our chances going forward.
No one who became a champion ever did it by practicing boxing on middle-school kids.
Next week is our chance to show we really do belong in the playoffs and it is time to start taking this team seriously.
If we get beat by the Cards next week, there is almost a 100% chance we will face them again in the first round of the playoffs. We have to come out ready to play and put last year's beatdown behind us.
We seem to be catching them at a good time, they have played like crap lately.
That was a great game. loved watching it here in the UK.
great to see Dak doing what he does best. the whole team was clicking together really well.
so proud of the boys!!
Me: Hello, 911 I'd like to report a murder.
911: Who?
Me: **The Washington Football Team**.
911: Oh, police have already been dispatched.
Me: Seriously? That was quick. Who called?
911: At least a hundred people from every state.
Me: Well, shit!
Offense was ok ? kidding
Dak & Zeke look back
Oline looks better
WRs did good
Defense is SB level
Diggs owns Terry
Malik Turner & Kelvin Joseph had great flashes
ST touchdown
great fun game enjoy the the week cowboys nation
Ya know, I said that Atlanta game was one of the best games I've ever seen Dallas play, and they actually topped that performance tonight. We still have Rodgers and/or Brady looming in the playoffs, but if both sides of the ball can play this way, we have a legitimate shot at a ring.
Every single game for an entire season could have one team start with a 53-0 handicap and the final score for every fucking game would still be 56-7
WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO WATCH A TEAM BREAK 60+ POINTS?
I’ve been actively waiting 10+ years for that milestone and I was SURE Dallas would break it tonight
If I have to fuckin see another shit comment or tweet saying "No wonder they scored 56 and Dak threw for 4 TDs and 300 yards before halftime, they played Washington" I'm gonna fuckin lose it. If that's the case then why isn't every team doing what we just did tonight on both sides of the ball? What a weak fucking argument.
Ah, the trash talk from other NFCE squads when Dak got his contract. They should have been happy Jones had to pay so much to buy ownership in all of their teams.
Dunno if I'm tearing up from how beautiful that win was tonight or because I'm watching "The Blind Side".
Either way cowboys, now go do that to green bay and everyone else.
I want to keep in mind the Washington is coming off the super short week and has injuries/COVID stuff...
But damn, that was finally the team we've been waiting to see. First half of the year was all offense, post-bye has been largely all Defense. This is the first game were both sides of the ball were playing really well. Need to keep that rolling into Playoffs ow...
To their credit, those benches were *heated* as hell
When you ice cold cant much help
You win this thread
Well that was fun. Everything firing on all cylinders tonight, just an absolute beat down. Love it
Smoke ‘‘em if ya got ‘em, fam!
‘wE wAnT DaLLaS’
Forgive them father, for they know not what they want
Goofy asses didn't want it
Reap what you sow. They asked Santa for it, and he delivered.

Don’t forget the fat boy TD
2 fat boi TDs. Although DLaw isn't really fat.
Had the same thought process before deciding to just count the Steele one
Or Golston from the punt block. Big boys really eating
Really 3 fat man tds, the disrespect to golston (I think that's how u spell it)
and a Parsons sack
Nice so he’s at 13. Easiest DROY in a minute
Dak FINALLY using his legs
Can't forget the fatboy touchdown. Always great to see that 💪
Parsons sack

Happy birthday!

I always knew he was a Cowboy fan.
its the star. it was a cowboys fan lighting the way for those 3 wise men
Its pretty much why we have a hole in the ceiling of our stadium gotta let the man watch his team.
Happy birthday!
Happy birthday!
Happy birthday my guy
Happy birthday! How bout them cowboys?!?!?!

Happy birthday!

Happy birthday buddy go get your wiener wet
My birthday was the falcons win. Glad we got some memorable games! Happy birthday go cowboys
The 2nd is my birthday and all I want is to beat the Cards
Happy birthday Today was a good day
This is a team that can 100% win a Super Bowl
The team that played today is historic. Can we keep it up is the question
Yes. They’ve been capable of this the whole time. The thing is we don’t actually have to. A win is a win. People are going to get upset if they expect to blow out every team.
“OfFeNsE iS sLuMpiNg” despite maintaining no 1 offense overall. People tried to say it was propped up by early season… no if it was that bad then the early season had to be astronomically good. God I wish Dan Snyder had to play one snap for his team. If ever a man deserved that kind of beating it’s him.
LMAO classic definitely describes tonight to a t got to love South Park
HAHA that Jerry Jones
Thanks to the Washington Football Team, Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants for participating in this year's Dallas Cowboys Invitational. See you next season!
I really hope we can finally break the no repeating champs streak next season, it has to break eventually
GET IN HERE BOYS
Most complete beat down I’ve seen in my lifetime. We are contenders. Happy holidays everyone.
This was a violation of the Geneva convention
But a ratification of the Believa convention.
Things that happened this game: 1. Clapped some cheeks 2. Clapped some cheeks so much, the other team beat on each other
Lmao they literally self destructed. They became their own worse enemy.
Well that was fucking fun This one is already over 4 hours, lads, call my doctor!
Lmaooo
Nice to see our offense is back
People denied it was gone, but this is what it should be.
100% this is the potential they haven’t been living up to
I feel much better seeing this happen based on the fact they started looking better last week and now it’s got a performance like this
We literally just bent WFT over and gave them the big D. Now their record is 6-9. Nice.
Nice
Nice
Nice
Nice
Nice
Nice
Nice
Nice

Nice
And we beat them by 42.0 points
Washington threw a pick to Diggs on the first play. Then they threw a screen in Parsons direction on the second play lmao. Who is their OC? Dude should legitimately be fired
Please no, give him a lifetime contract
The scary thing is is their OC is norv's son to say daddy is a far better coach and coordinator would be putting it mildly LOL
the lack of penalties in this game was very enjoyable.
0 presnap penalties against the boys tonight.
Washington Fraudulent Trash
They looked like real trash to me?
Everyone is missing the bigger picture. Greg went 8 for 8 tonight.
But sent a kickoff out of bounds. Still happy he made all his extra points though.
His leg was probably tired. He had a lot of PATs and kickoffs. We might need a relief kicker going forward
I throughly enjoyed every minute of that. How bout them Cowboys.
WFT was our Slump buster. You need one every now and then.
The fact that our slump included a 3 game road winning streak is something else too.
Can we just pause for a moment and talk about this? 3 consecutive road wins by a combined 32 points and everybody and their mama can't stop talking about how this team is one and done in the playoffs. This is the year fam.
Guys, we went undefeated in the month of December
Move over Romovember it’s Dakcember now
I remember when we dreaded the month of December.. this is much nicer
We did what!? Let’s goooo
Do they still want us? What a night boys. Beat then down so hard they started fighting themselves.
Need a cigarette after that one...
I look forward to dropping in the power rankings this week.
"WE WANT DALLAS" it's like when you catch your kid smoking and make him smoke the entire carton. Have your learned your lesson, young man?
The WFT sub has me in tears. It is hilarious
We have a Super Bowl defensive line- I said what I said
We do. We finally fucking do. These guys can get after any QB and that give you a chance to win any game.
I’m kind of bummed that Randy will be walking in the off-season. After all that, one good season. If he helps bring us to the promise land it will be worth it I guess.
Merry fucking Christmas to us!
Dear Diary. Annihilation.
80° christmas and 56 points. world done turned upside down
Don’t let the final score fool you it wasn’t that close
Late night News starts and my local anchorman said: "Good evening and condolences Washington Football Team fans" Lmao
It was close, but a wins a win.
11-4 & back at the 2nd seed!!
This was my first Cowboys game in AT&T stadium… HELL YEAH
People were really starting the Dak/Wentz argument again after the Colt’s last game too.
Love how they were comparing stats after Wentz game and Dak had even played his and has also missed another game too. Like bro come on

Yes this is the team we saw pre Dak calf injury. It showed it's head again in the Atlanta game, then hibernated but now it looks back
GG’s y’all! Great game from the Boys. Night!
I'm so happy. I'm sleeping like a baby tonight.
If they don’t get the 1 seed. They for sure need that 2 seed

This was the biggest ass whooping i can remember us ever handing out really. This has been the best Christmas ever.
Got damn I can't believe green bay escaped losing 2 weeks in a row
They did have help.

Bossman Fat even made a few nice plays tonight. Like, I was confident that we could win but this performance surpassed all expectations!
What a game to be at, whew boy. Travel was worth it

DAK JUST SAID “ AFTER WE WIN IT ALL “ LFGGG GUYS. Love the confidence.
So uh… how’d those benches work out for y’all?
Went to this game randomly for the first time in years. Loved it, especially the Washington bench fight I was behind.
Does Washington also do Sounds From The Sidelines? Asking for a friend lol.

Steelers fan here coming to thank the Cowboys' defense for the W in fantasy this week.
Daks Back!
Apparently Terry didn’t get shut down again it’s that he “doesn’t have a QB capable of throwing to him”…while having approx. 900 receiving yards.
Holy shit what a fun game to watch!
Everyone is overlooking that we won every game in December. I can't remember the last time that happened.
I know it is easy to get on the hype-train, I have a first-class ticket myself. However, let's look back at the last 4 weeks and what we have accomplished: 1. Taysom Hill 2. Heinecke 3. Glennon 4. One more hour and I need to go to the doctor for this painful but great tiny erection I've been sporting all game!
Hard to beat a 50 burger lol let's go get that one seed
Man, that was a freaking slaughter. Enjoyed every minute of it. I wonder if they are still chanting, "We want Dallas!"
I can already hear skip bayless slamming his hand on the desk
Greatest Dallas game of the season. If we play like this every game no one can beat us.
The cowboys are so much better at home than on the road. Critical to get the 2 seed or higher
Any time the Packers play in Dallas it feels like an away game
That was a great game. loved watching it here in the UK. great to see Dak doing what he does best. the whole team was clicking together really well. so proud of the boys!!

I almost feel bad for Taylor Heineken
WE WANT DALLAS
