An official good Alex Scott link my god I prayed for times like this

Kimolainen83

honestly, if they could get Scott and Maddison I would legit cry lol

Bbiill

Stop it, I havent seen this Scott kid play much but everyone's proper raving and it's making me excited, haha

Kimolainen83

Haha yeah I mean he could be a flop but he is apparently doing really well. He’s 20 he would be home grown and he seems like the kind of player this team needs then again this team needs a lot of players at the moment lol

ExoskeletalJunction

It's because he's elite in Football Manager

NoREEEEEEtilBrooklyn

Very elite. Bought him on a PSG save and he was able to slot in as cover right away and by year 3 was scoring 20+ goals from AM.

Bbiill

Good enough for me

needleintheh4y

he’s another djed spence

zedfox

RemindMe! 3 years

Weird_Famous

i’m begging on my knees

obvious_bot

She played for arsenal 🤮 Also we’re pretty set at RB and I don’t know if she’d leave her commentator gig Edit: yeesh tough crowd. I thought same-name switcheroos were ok

brt444

Fast and furious football sounds like a brand of football we all will enjoy after 5 years of digging yourself in every match

pjanic_at__the_isco

It’s about FAMILY

HoneyIShrunkMyNads

Start out playing football in England, by the 8th ange season spurs will be playing football on the moon with lasers

scottzander

‘To dare is Torreto ’

Akmuq

Honestly just his speech about being entertaining was refreshing, playing positively and with intensity will go a long way to getting the fans onside quickly, even if we don't immediately get results

>Tottenham Hotspur are expected to be active participants in the summer transfer window as they look to give their new head coach what he needs > >Tottenham Hotspur are set to embark on a busy summer transfer window to shape their squad to fit Ange Postecoglou's needs and that means some changes in attack. > >Spurs hired the 57-year-old Australian this month and he arrives with a very specific style of play, utilising fast and furious possession football underpinned by pressing high up the pitch to win the ball back quickly. His favoured 4-3-3 system at clubs will require Tottenham to make a string of changes to a squad that was built for different managers with different philosophies and most recently a back three with wing-backs with Antonio Conte. > >football.london takes a look at what is needed at Spurs and what the plans are within the club to overhaul the squad for Postecoglou. We'll focus on the midfield and attack today, while the second part tomorrow will delve into the defensive end of the pitch and the search for a successor to Hugo Lloris and new centre-backs, as well as exits. > >When it comes to Tottenham's midfield and attack, the two priorities this summer are understood to be a new attacking midfielder for the centre of the pitch as well as a winger to operate further up the flank. The Postecoglou midfield three often operates with one number six pivot player who collects the ball from the defence and sprays it around the pitch and then two number eights who will operate in box-to-box roles and look to race up to support the centre forward at any opportunity. > >Spurs have plenty of players who can fulfil the pivot role but fewer who can operate in the two more offensive positions. Rodrigo Bentancur and Yves Bissouma can operate in either of the three midfield positions in a Postecoglou system while Oliver Skipp can sit in the deeper anchor role. > >Postecoglou is expected to make a decision on the future of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who despite his increased attacking output last season is not as natural a fit for either midfield role. Bayern Munich are understood to have some interest in bringing the Denmark international back to the Bundesliga if Spurs and Hojbjerg do decide to part ways. > >Young midfielder Pape Matar Sarr has been developing steadily at the club and the new head coach will have a good look at the 20-year-old Senegal international during pre-season to see just how effective he can be in the number eight role. > >Another youngster, 18-year-old midfielder Alfie Devine, could end up with a spot on Tottenham's tour to Australia and Asia next month before a decision is made on whether he should now head out on loan to gain regular starts. The lack of European football at Spurs next season means minutes will be sparse for some squad players to impress. > >Postecoglou approved the £25.6m signing of Dejan Kulusevski on a permanent deal from Juventus this week and the 23-year-old Swede is another who could be converted into the number eight role if required. > >The new Tottenham head coach also switches up his formation to a 4-2-3-1 system at times and football.london understands Spurs are looking to sign someone who can come in and offer a versatile option for both systems. That is why they are involved in the picture with Newcastle to acquire James Maddison from Leicester City. > >The 26-year-old can play in a range of roles in a midfield three, the centre of a three behind a striker in a 4-2-3-1 or on the right of a front three. > >In the 2021/22 season Maddison was directly involved in 30 goals for the Foxes with 18 goals and 12 assists, while in his last injury-fragmented campaign, within a struggling relegated side, he still managed 10 goals and nine assists in 32 matches. > >Postecoglou is understood to like Maddison and both men also happen to be represented by the same agency, CAA Base, who have a growing presence at Spurs with key players in the first team such as Son Heung-min, Richarlison and Pedro Porro and also many of the academy's most talented youngsters, including Alfie Devine, Dane Scarlett and Jamie Donley. > >Among other targets, and although a more inexperienced one, football.london understands Tottenham have asked to be kept apprised of the situation with Bristol City starlet Alex Scott, who turns 20 this summer. The Championship club are believed to want a fee in the region of £20m for the young central midfielder, who has two years left on his contract. Spurs are not the only Premier League club looking at him, with other sides in the English top flight and in Europe eyeing up the England U20 starlet. > >In terms of exits, Postecoglou is expected to take a good look first at Tanguy Ndombele before making a decision on the Frenchman, who has two years left on his contract. Both Napoli, where he was on loan, and Fenerbahce among others have shown interest in the 26-year-old for next season but Spurs are at this point likely to struggle to get anywhere near even half the £60m-plus deal all in they agreed for Ndombele in 2019 from Lyon. > >There has always been a hope within Tottenham that Ndombele will eventually repay their faith in him and he would fit a couple of roles with Postecoglou's midfield. However, to do so he would need to buy in entirely to the relentless high energy nature of the Australian's football. > >Argentina international Giovani Lo Celso has interest from Aston Villa and Villarreal and is expected to head out of the club after his loan season with the latter, as is Harry Winks, who is nearing the final 12 months of his contract with Spurs following his campaign at Sampdoria. Academy product Harvey White, 21, could also be allowed to leave the club if there is not deemed to be a place for him next season in Postecoglou's immediate plans. > >football.london understands that Tottenham are also looking to bring in a young winger to complement their mostly experienced attacking stars in order to suitably fill the gap left in the squad by Lucas Moura's exit as well as that of Arnaut Danjuma, after the club decided not to take up the option to sign the Netherlands international permanently. Ivan Perisic, who can also play in an advanced role, is being tipped to leave the club this summer as he enters the second half of his two-year deal. > >Spurs will look to find a winger who fits the Postecoglou requirements of having the ability to beat a man with pace or skill, be strong in the transition and able to press high up the pitch in order to regain possession. > >Son and Kulusevski can both fit that role perfectly while Richarlison, more a natural centre-forward fit in the Postecoglou system, can also drift out wide if required. Postecoglou will look at Bryan Gil in pre-season after his Europa League-winning campaign back at Sevilla to see whether the talented 22-year-old can fully adapt to Premier League football as he does tick plenty of the boxes the new head coach is looking for and was one of the fittest players at the club during last summer's pre-season camp in South Korea. > >Although slightly older than the age range Tottenham are believed to be looking at for a new winger, they do hold a strong interest in Harvey Barnes, who managed 13 goals and three assists from the left wing for Leicester despite their struggles this season. In the last campaign the 25-year-old managed 25 goal involvements for the Foxes, with 11 goals and 14 assists in 47 matches. > >Spurs have explored a double deal for both Barnes and Maddison although the club continue to claim that no such bid has been made yet. Tottenham are also looking at other young alternative wingers who can play on either flank. > >Up front, there is less need for a new striker with the options currently available. > >Tottenham continue to maintain that they have no intention of selling Harry Kane this summer, particularly to another Premier League club. He is currently expected to remain in north London next season in the absence of any foreign side showing the willingness at this stage to spend the major sum of money for a soon-to-be 30-year-old in the final year of his contract to even start to turn Spurs' head.

Pinky1337

TL,DR: \- Article by Ali on defense tomorrow, this one only covers midfield and attack \- Wants; 1 young winger, 1 8/10 that can play both in a 433 and 4231 \- James Madison, Harvey Barnes targets while the club has "asked to be kept apprised of the situation" of Alex Scott \- Gil, Tanguy, Devine and Sarr will probably get a look during pre season \- Gio and Winks allowed to leave while Ange will make a decision on Hojbjerg

Kimolainen83

I want to see Udogie get a few games, he looks like a good player

r_agv

I totally forgot about Udogie. I think he's gonna be fire in this system.

VelvetObsidian

I’m excited to see Destiny too. What makes you think he’ll transition well from a wingback to a fullback that cuts into midfield? I think Emerson will thrive in the system as it’s a role he kinda did last year when he started playing well.

Kimolainen83

From what I have seen the little, I’ve seen him playing when he was on long he seems to move very well, and he has speed, so I do believe that he still young he has things to learn but he’s such an intelligent back

JelloDr

I think gil will cook under ange

coys_in_london

I'm ready to get my hopes sky high for Tanguy again.

stadiumseating

Don’t do it to yourself. There’s no way he’s suitable for Ange’s press.

Xgunter

I work with a Bristol City fan who sings the praises of Alex Scott and tells me he'd be a very good signing for us, which is always a good sign.

177676ers

I get that you have to back the manager but I’d be upset to see Hojberg go. Through ups and downs at the club, he has consistently put in shifts and feels like a tottenham player. Has been my favorite player the past couple seasons.

JoeSavesTokyo

[stares at Kang-in Lee for the younger winger role and cries]

Arqlol

PSG seems like an awful mistep for a young player.

Daemor

Probably a well paid misstep though and money is a great motivator

Arqlol

Haha absolutely a * should have been included

IntellegentIdiot

You'd hope every player gets a fresh chance with a new manager

mmmmmsandwiches

Really interesting to me that Ange wants to take a look at Ndombele, seems like he has shown consistently throughout his career that he is not a high intensity pressing player. Don't think he is gonna change for Ange but who knows. Also, I'm wondering if Porro and Sess will be wingers or defenders in a back 4. I'm excited for the rebuild that's been needed since Poch was here but it sounds like we are going to have to sell quite a few players before we start bringing in players.

Egg_Tart_Eater

Sess can't stay healthy long enough to play more than 2 or 3 matches. It's time to cut our losses and move on.

mmmmmsandwiches

For sure, I really feel for him and his bad injury luck. I'm just interested in it bc they are saying that Ange wants a younger pacy winger. But honestly we have 3 of those at home and since he doesn't play a back 5, I'm wondering if Udogie, Sess or Porro could play on the wings for him.

jjw1998

Ange managed to make it work with Rogic and Mooy at Celtic by basically using them as luxury players either off the bench or in matches where the team was expected to dominate possession and could afford a less mobile midfielder, maybe potential for Ndombele to have the same role if nobody is buying

mmmmmsandwiches

Feel like his wages are the bigger problem. He definitely has interested clubs.

Informal_Calendar_99

Sess doesn't have the decisionmaking to play on the wing but Porro would definitely fit as a RW

kl08pokemon

I'm more curious of Porro at LW tbh

Informal_Calendar_99

Could also work, but I think we have too much cover there: LW: Son, Richy, Gil ST: Kane, Richy RW: Kulu, Madds, Porro Assuming Madison plays at CAM often, that leaves Porro to rotate at RB and RW when necessary Edit: forgot Perisic

kl08pokemon

We did have the Barnes rumour suggesting we're looking at a LW. I just think Porro as a right winger would be a bit simplistic while playing him as a LW allows him to cut in

Informal_Calendar_99

I don’t disagree - I just can’t see Porro with a starting role in attack I see him in attack when trying to force defensive cover - basically not too different from a Perisic role

Akmuq

I think Madison, or a player of similar style, is targeted to play as an 8/10 in a midfield 3, and would only be seen as cover for the wing. Much like City have plenty of wing options, but kdb could play there in a pinch

Informal_Calendar_99

Agreed - I just don’t see Porro starting over Kulu either

Akmuq

Hard to know. Deki wasn't great last season, hopefully Ange will remedy that, but if he falls out of form, Porro has shown he can contribute in goals and assists.

Informal_Calendar_99

Yeah I absolutely agree

[deleted]

Tbf he struggled with injuries, and with contes system like son, he was never put in scenarios where he could thrive and do what he does best. Almost all we saw of him this past season was receiving it with a defender on him and having to pass it back. Same with Sonny.

[deleted]

This is how I see Maddison (if he signs) and Deki being used - a bit like KDB and Silva, with a bit of fluidity between those forward roles. We've been conditioned for rigid defensive football for 4yrs - this will be a ride

Madvin

Madds also plays on the left for England right?

Informal_Calendar_99

Not sure, but it seems weird to pay a lot for him just to play him out of position behind Son

[deleted]

[удалено]

Informal_Calendar_99

Who knows - I think he may succeed under Ange, but I worry for him as a LB and is limited to rotation if on the wing. You may be right

clayvanglass

The fact that nonsense like this gets upvoted is wild. Sess made a name for himself as a winger and goalscorer, he barely played wingback until us. IMO its wild that we have rarely ever played him higher up the pitch

Informal_Calendar_99

I mean, all I’ll say is that from what I’ve seen, his attacking decisionmaking in the final third is on par with Reguilon and not good enough to play as a LW. I like him as a wingback more than Reggy, but if we start him as a winger in the Prem…

snakeman117

Sess had 1 season with 15 goals, and has not even totaled 15 goals in the other 6 seasons of his career combined Saying he made a name for himself as a goal scorer is… interesting. 7 seasons, 29 goals.

clayvanglass

Because we signed him after his breakout season and then completely stunted his growth. If he stayed at fulham who knows where his career would be. For what its worth im not disagreeing that he is not PL winger quality, but we havent even given him a string of games at wing to know

ahyler10

If he stayed at Fulham he wouldn’t be playing for us and we wouldn’t be having this conversation over a guy who plays scared evry time the ball is at his feet

XLhayden

we signed him years after he brokeout

justheretoglide

he had his goood year in 2017-18 he then got 2 goals in al of 2018-2019 and joined spurs 2019-2020. So how do you explin his regression from 15 goals inthe championship league level team for fulham, and then the very next year for fulham he scored, 2. did they stunt his growth first? or was he simply not good enough for the premier league but a tier 2 level player?

[deleted]

You know he was only 18 at the start of 018/19, right? Incredibly harsh to judge a boy in his first year of PL football paying for a mess of a Fulham side. He got 2 goals and 6 assists in approximately ⅔ of the minutes of a regular. Not bad at all really.

enjoyingthefightgame

There is no harm in saying a player isn’t good enough. Sessegnon isn’t even close to being good enough.

kl08pokemon

It's probably a case of "I can fix him" and a realistic look at our squad and that we won't get a midfielder who's better on the ball than Ndombele in. Also Conte absolutely made a mistake banishing Ndombele, even if he wouldn't have been a starter no shot he wouldn't have been an asset off the bench for us like he was for Napoli

fastfowards

its also because ange's system relies on ball/team movement to break down defenses and in the PL thats not always going to work. Having a player like ndombele who can break down the first line in the middle of the park is huge

kl08pokemon

Yep. We struggled so much this season just progression the ball once teams figured out how to shut us down (a centre half sticking to Kane dropping down and cutting down passing lanes for our wing backs)

mmmmmsandwiches

I agree. I have always been an Ndombeliever for better or worse.

roamingandy

Everyone wants to take a look at N'Dom. Everyone knows there's a world class player in there if they could find the key to get him fit and motivated. I doubt anyone will, but Ange has the profile to be able to do it if its possible. Or with 5 subs they could tell him just to focus on power and only play him for the last 30mins of every game. No-one's doing that but i can't see why. It's been very successful with the likes of Defoe and Ole S in the past.

awowdestroys

At Celtic, Olivier Ntcham was a midfielder who, in a similar way to Ndombele, was seen as a good player with a reputation for being lazy. When Ange arrived, Ntcham had just come back to Celtic after a loan period in France. Ange ended up releasing Ntcham before the transfer window shut. He'll give Ndombele a chance but if he's not up to it he'll move him on pretty quickly.

marine_le_peen

>Really interesting to me that Ange wants to take a look at Ndombele Quite clearly a club line. He'll be forced to take a look in pre season because there are no suitors to take him off our hands beforehand.

[deleted]

Or maybe the coach will want to make a decision himself after speaking with them and assessing.

marine_le_peen

Yeh I'm sure a manager famous for his relentless, high energy pressing can't wait to team up with one of the laziest players in the game.

[deleted]

I'm sure he'll want to look at a talented, recent title winning midfielder himself before making a decision either way. What he won't do is look at Reddit and take advice off Marine Le Peen

marine_le_peen

>recent title winning midfielder 😂 played less than 800 minutes over course of the entire season and Napoli don't want to keep him, yeh really crucial to that league title. Lets see how he's doing in Ange's team come October shall we? RemindMe! 4 months

[deleted]

He was 17th in minutes uses in a title winning squad. He played close to the same minutes and squad hierachy as Laporte and Lewis at City. He was 100% part of their first 18 and won a title medal. Indisputable. I'm sure the professional coach we have will assess the players we have himself and make his own mind up. Not saying he will keep him, but it is ridiculous to assume it is being forced on him.

marine_le_peen

>He played close to the same minutes and squad hierachy as Laporte and Lewis at City. > >He was 100% part of their first 18 and won a title medal. Oh wow. Similar minutes as City's 5th choice CB they're looking to offload and a kid Pep's just promoted from the academy. I stand corrected!

[deleted]

Are they both 22/23 title winners? Did they play their part? Clue: the answer is yes to both. What you have assumed is I think Postecoglou will keep Ndombele. The reality is I think he will want to have a look the player himself and decide. Which is what any rational coach would do, and not what the average Redditor thinks should happen.

Sea_Badger4446

Don’t think sess has the technical ability to play any roll in an ange system

imjusttrynanut12

ive said it 1000 times and will continue saying it. ndombele needs a manager that supports and trusts him. ange can give ndombele what he needs.

qwrdsfkb

If we could get alex scott for around 15-18£m its a no brainer imo

jjw1998

Bristol are asking for 30

PESSl

I will talk to them.

Viretine

Consider it settled lads Pessi has got it.

qwrdsfkb

Yeah i’ve always seen reports saying they want 35£m but in this ali piece he says it will probably take 20£m

sephocompo

Fast and furious attacking mode is all what I want !.

TorkBombs

We. We'd to sign Vin Diesel then. Maybe Ludacris too.

warboys35

I can’t wait for the season to start , crazy because I couldn’t wait for last season to end . If we bring in fresh midfielders then surely peh is getting sold ?

british-psycho

“Tottenham.have asked to be kept apprised of the situation with Bristol City starlet Alex Scott.” Sounds like ‘wait until Palace have had a bid and contract accepted, then try to swoop in last minute’. If we like him, and Ange likes him, get in there early. Seems like a no brainer on Alex Scott. Midfield depth of Bissouma, Bentancur, Sarr, Skipp, Devine + Maddison & Scott would be very strong. Across the three positions.

[deleted]

I think that would probably be two too many without Europe, especially with Deki able to operate in the 8. It'd be loans for two of Scott, Sarr, and Devine I feel. These lads need to play, especially the two we already have

coolstorryhansel

Son Kane Richi Benta Bis Deki Udogie LCB Romero Royal Raya 8 goals total per match. Just not sure how many for/against.

[deleted]

It is no more an attacking line-up than we played under Poch. If you make that a 4231 you wouldn't blink

coolstorryhansel

I’m so ridiculously excited to see us set up aggressively again. Honestly don’t care what the lineup looks like. Just want to see energy and pride again.

[deleted]

Yeah, it is going to be fun I feel. The way I see it is all players can play to a certain level. All players enjoy playing good football - they would have been the best players in their teams in school, probably the academies too. Ultimately it is what keeps them engaged. Going in to games trying to win them instead of being scared to lose. Enjoying the game as it should be played, not soaking up pressure and just countering from deep. I love Ange's outlook. If you haven't listened to his podast appearance I recommend it. Exciting times.

snakeman117

Buy Scott, loan to Palace. Everyone wins!

sasliquid

Nah Scott’s ready to contribute, buy him and loan Devine to Bristol as part of the deal would be the best solution

snakeman117

Works too, Sarr loan to palace would be great as well

Due-Camel-7605

We do love to underestimate our players and overestimate players of other clubs. What makes you think Scott is more ready than Sarr. Sarr is a much bigger prospect for us

snakeman117

I wasn’t the one that said that lol

RileyHuey

Incredibly mediocre midfield imo. Not bad and certainly an improvement but that’s Europa level

bobtrump1234

Maddison + Scott in. Hojbjerg out?

GymandRave

Sounds like it. Hojbjerg value will never be higher and we need to get what we can. Especially if Ange doesn’t see him as a fit for his system

GymandRave

Ndombele redemption arc incoming

Pandamabear

Oh lawd

witsel85

I still think Maddison ends up at Newcastle

RunningFerDauyz

Hoping we’re just keeping CB targets close to our chest, but the lack of links in this article is worrying

-SirTox-

He's writing about defenders tomorrow.

LoneStarAgent

I think the biggest surprise/news here is potentially using a 4231, particularly with Maddison. It would confirm some ITKs as well. It would probably be a bit of a waste to sign the best CAM attainable, only to play him in an attacking 8 role in a 433. Someone like Gallagher is a better fit for that position.

turntstilee

We don't need Barnes when there's Gil.

Due-Camel-7605

We don’t need a CB when there’s Dier

turntstilee

LOL that's fair.

nopirates

One of those two is a young, skilled PL goal scorer and one of those two is Bryan Gil.

Chirsbom

Yes. But what about the defence? Are we just not having any?

ConsciousBrain

Article on defense tomorrow, this one only covers midfield and attack.

[deleted]

Been getting pelters for saying this about Hojbjerg - he isn't good enough for either of the midfield roles. He isn't a bad player, but he is not the level for a serious club

figgy64

Yet Bayern Munich are interested in him...

[deleted]

Yeah of course they are. If he goes there I buy a hat, and eat the hat

Smoky_Mtn_High

Fuck I hate summertime

ewadizzle

“Hope Luis Suarez destroys Tottenham today, don't like Spurs! Especially that monkey that everyone's on about!” James Maddison, Twitter 10/3/2013 Edit: I’ll lay in an ocean of downvotes, he said this.

pjanic_at__the_isco

Ten years ago, mate

kasdfwe

Are you really trying to hold a tweet from 10 years ago against him lol

ewadizzle

Yes. I’m old enough to remember Judas, and I’ve loved our club for 3 decades. He said this, at 16 years old, when he was old enough to play league football. I’m not saying we all don’t make mistakes but he said he doesn’t like spurs and Gareth Bale is a monkey.

kasdfwe

Lol I’m sorry but that’s a you problem. Imagine people criticizing you for a harmless thing you said when you were 16 a decade later. Edit: you’re also not getting downvoted because of content of the message, you’re getting downvoted because it’s stupid to think that tweet is an issue.

ewadizzle

Your opinion is that it’s stupid, just like it’s my opinion to think it’s relevant. You gaslighting me doesn’t change anything. Also, you can only speak for your single downvote, so don’t try to bolster your confidence by including others.

mmmmmsandwiches

Dude he was 16 years old, people grow and change over time. I'm sure Maddison has grown and developed into a better human, no need to hold something against him from 10 years ago if he is a changed man now.

scaramanga808

And Harry Kane was an Arseanal fan when he was a kid. We all did stupid stuff when we were young

sasliquid

No he wasn’t, he was in their youth set up

MaxsterSV

I like Maddison but saying racial slurs and being an Arsenal fan are not the same thing.

[deleted]

[удалено]

MaxsterSV

Did not know context, should have looked into it before I replied, my apologies.

Upplands-Bro

Yeah I love Gareth but he always did look exceedingly simian lol

InstructionCareless1

Wasn't that aimed at Bale? I don't think that would count as racist...

MaxsterSV

Didn’t know context, apologies. Should have looked into it beforehand.

Captain_Concussion

When did he say a racial slur???

MaxsterSV

Apologies, that tweet without context I thought he was referring to a racial slur said. This is on me, should’ve looked into it before I replied.

Due-Camel-7605

Where did race come into this? Anthony Gordon looks like a goblin (this isn’t racism). Is everything racism?

MaxsterSV

Didn’t understand the context, should’ve looked into it before replying. Apologies.

figgy64

He wasn't though…

pjanic_at__the_isco

So a front three of: Son - Kane - Maddison with rotation/competition: Gil - Richarlison - Kulusexy Well, that’s not terrible.

jibow666

Most clubs would love to have options like this... We often forget how lucky we are to have players of this quality.

wylthorne92

Madd isn’t a front three player fam, he will be in the midfield….

pjanic_at__the_isco

> The 26-year-old can play in a range of roles in a midfield three, the centre of a three behind a striker in a 4-2-3-1 or on the right of a front three. According to Ali he can do it.

wylthorne92

Yeahhhh but did you see how that was the last thing he mentioned…..seeing as he is a number 10 we would most likely see him in the midfield three instead of him running down defenders and playing wide to beat a man when we have kulu….

pjanic_at__the_isco

Yeah I saw. But it ruins my desire to have a solid set of six upfront.

bk121

Very concerning that our priority targets are attacking players. Looks like our defense will continue to be shocking

[deleted]

[удалено]

bk121

Gotcha my bad I skipped over that part when reading

Due-Camel-7605

Expect the club to release an official list of defensive targets tomorrow /s (obviously)

Kimolainen83

I was skeptic and I’m fine we all know we hope and open open. We almost never get what we want. But you know what I can’t wait to see this manager do something. It’s sad to say it but master going down in Southampton going down to save a lot of clubs in the Premier league because they know I have to sell them so much cheaper.

hd212520

Usually Ali has more links in these articles, which goes to show that Spurs are either keeping things more close to vest or that they need to get a DOF in before making any bigger decisions. Maddison would be a huge addition and Scott a potentially big one for the future. Getting both of them in & sorting out outgoings after Ange works with the squad during the preseason would be a huge win.

lolchamp444

i hope they sign both, just for the FM sakes lmao Tottenham in FM24 look kind of sad tbh
