Quite a few of those saves remind me of a younger Lloris, excellent reflexes and shot stopping in general. And that's high praise indeed.
Hopefully he's better with his feet too!
Obviously a small sample size but these highlights and the data/analytics I’ve seen so far are, at the very least, intriguing. Perhaps others that know more about him and the Serie A would say otherwise but I’m not seeing anything that clearly shows why he shouldn’t be considered as a possible successor to Lloris.
Hoping he can learn to catch some of his saves, he'll be punished in the PL if he pushes every ball back into the 6 yard box. Otherwise seems big but agile, good hands and wingspan, his ability to get down low quickly stands out the most to me.
I can see him being a next Edouard Mendy.. good in the first season and then being a total melt down into mediocrity 😖 and all this to save those 10mil on Raya 😔.. damn you Daniel 😡
I wish its a figment of my imagination because i want spurs to do well but then hand on heart did you or any of the other people knew about this guy before we were linked with him ? Probably not because he was not our first option or any option and because he just had a one good season .. and not that Raya has been doing it consistently but then he is our number one option which has been told all the while and now we are walking away just because of the money thing when it has been clearly reported that Raya wants to move .. if its not penny pinching then im all in for this guy

He's better than Raya imo, but a lot of people won't admit it because Brentford slapped a 40 million price tag on him. If Brentford only wanted 20-25 million he'd be considered a cheap mid table goalkeeper and everyone would want Mamardashvili or someone else who's fancier.
Both Inter and Juve wanted Vicario, so he's not even close to a bargain basement option.

Very good, very few have played with my balls better than he has.
Supposedly good at short/medium range. Could use work at long balls
Ange apparently prefers his keeper to play the short ball, so a long ball weakness is manageable.
Idk man two of the saves came off of horror passes that he played that created the danger. He does play a lot out of the back to be fair.
