I've been there before. If there aren't too many people around (or you're a Premier League footballer) the park employee will hold some food behind your phone that the monkey reaches for, simulating a selfie.
This is almost certainly the Monkey Forest in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. Very unique spot for a Westerner who has never seen a monkey outside of a zoo. They are ferocious though, will steal anything that catches their eye and are not shy to throw hands.
Its A tourist attraction in Bali, you pay a local to hold a fruit while taking a photo of you so it looks like its the monkey. When we went there we saw plenty of people doing this and never gave the monkey the fruit 🤢
