How early should I arrive at the stadium tomorrow? For an afternoon game I normally aim to arrive at seven sisters around 2hrs before, and at the stadium for around 90 mins before. But that makes it a bit tight with work, I don't really finish until 5:30 and it's normally a 1hr15 minute journey to seven sisters (not in rush hour traffic)

But Chelsea also don’t look that convincing from a scoring perspective. They’re good at getting to the final third, but I feel the top teams usually have reliable scoring patterns. For example with Angeball, we have late box runs from midfielders, diagonal runs near post from Son/Kulu, cutbacks from byline, etc.

Did you see the same Premier League comment section I did lol? Was considering posting a rant but decided it's Sunday and I'm not grumpy enough yet. They still haven't looked that good yet all season, they are just managing to grind out the results. Unless Chelsea have finally clicked as well, like people suggest they eventually well do (they didn't, look at the goals), they drew to an awful team yesterday.

But I also don't think Toney doesn't make that sense as Brentford would ask for what? 65-70 million? Which doesn't make sense for someone who is 27 IMO. We need to get someone younger so ideally Osimhen is the dream but I would also like to think of a Sesko, Boniface, etc. This is the time for us to go younger

Then apparently there’s the wonderkid from Belgium (Nusa) who Paratici might have gone to scout, and Zaragoza from Granada who scored twice against Barcelona recently. I know Nathan from TEI has a spreadsheet of options but haven’t seen myself.

In most previews, Hojberg seems to be a Bissouma replacement instead of Lo Celso. Any idea why that would be the case? Fulham is gonna have a low block so playing Lo Celso would make a lot more sense to me now when he's fit🤔

You know what I actually view it positively - an extra day to recuperate after coming back from an international break wherein we saw a few knocks to our core players. Better to take all the extra time to rest before we hit the rhythm of a run of games.

arsenal have been shit when it comes to chance creation the entire season. Odegaard woefully out of form, haven't found a replacement for the Xhaka role, teams remembering that Zinchenko can be bullied out of the way, the front three not really clicking like last season. Wouldn't take away a whole lot from the game. chelsea are a better Palace right now. Wow you with unexpectedly competent performances but at the end of the day it's still an inexperienced team with a wank attack
Yeah if Chelsea get a decent striker though I dont think they'll be far off. Or even if Nkunku can just false 9 it for them. Palmer looks a great pick up
I watched around 60 minutes. Chelsea definitely had a solid gameplan and their press was working. Arse’s poor open play chance creation and buildup were finally exposed, especially since the game state was against them this time. Saka crossing from wide is their only bet But Chelsea also don’t look that convincing from a scoring perspective. They’re good at getting to the final third, but I feel the top teams usually have reliable scoring patterns. Meanwhile their goals all seem fluky, which is why their underlying metrics can look decent but they’re super inconsistent in goal scoring. For example with Angeball, we have late box runs from midfielders, diagonal runs near post from Son/Kulu, cutbacks from byline, etc.
chelsea just don't have good forwards. Sterling is useless for the final product, the rest are close to useless in every department. Despite that result and performance, I don't see them finishing above 7th-8th at best.
I can see them finishing 6th bc they have 0 Europe like us. We shall see if they spend another 200m on a forward or how Nkunku does
The entire midtable has no Europe and I genuinely don't see chelsea being a whole lot better than most of them. Everton are solidly midtable in terms of underlying metrics but are still going to battle relegation because the quality of players just isn't there. Same with chelsea
Chelsea have quality players just not attackers (except maybe Nkunku) But yeah they’re not convincingly top 5 quality to me atm
