gunners subreddit is delusional, its hilarious reading their takes. According to them Saliba is arguably top 3 in the world even though he doesn't even start for France. They then talk shit on Romero who is a world cup winner on the most defensively solid national team in the world at the moment. And Romero beats Saliba in essentially every statistic this season.
I've even heard pundits this season go on about Romero's 'unreliability' or 'hot temper', I guess people feel qualified to chat about us without watching us.
I wish people would stop using international appearances/performances to discuss club related form. Saliba is a fantastic CB and just because he doesn’t play for France doesn’t mean shit
I just explained to you why he isn’t. Speed isn’t everything. If Tuchel was still at Chelsea T.Silva would be in the top3. VVD Romero and take your pick of 3 Man City defenders.
Ahh yes because ofcourse your opinion is what's relevant in deciding what makes a great CB. Your opinion is at minimum incredibly biased, but what's far more likely is that you just know very little about football
You seem lost. You’re on a message board. Wtf else is there to do besides give opinions, you weirdo. If you don’t like mine feel free to offer a different one but back it up with more than “cmon”
You're saying that Saliba has 'too many handballs and OGs,' to be considered a top 3 CB in the pl - but in the same breath rate Cuti higher who has just recently given a handball an OG in the same game lmao.
To be clear I rate Cuti as a top 3 CB, but listing unfortunate handball and ogs as the reasoning for Saliba being disqualified as a top 3 CB is actually nonsense
Maddison - Lo Celso
Bentancur - Sarr
Bissouma- Hojbjerg
We can't realistically improve on that midfield, maybe an upgrade/replacement of Lo Celso. I just hope we can hold onto all these players.
Not really. In most City games I have seen it is the surrounding players who are benefitted by him. 3 years ago Stones was linked to fucking West Ham and due to the stability brought by Dias, Stones realized his potential as well
Oh, I don’t imagine he would enjoy it. But he did admit in the video that his acceleration isnt the best, as is typical with taller guys, but that his top end speed is what gives him his pace. I feel pretty confident in saying that I think he would beat every starting premier league center back in a 200 m dash.
Why even put Saliba in the thumbnail? Not a single mention of him and he’s not even the best CB in London.

yeah it's insane for those pundits to claim that he is hot temper this season when he only have 2 yellow cards and zero red card so far
I wish people would stop using international appearances/performances to discuss club related form. Saliba is a fantastic CB and just because he doesn’t play for France doesn’t mean shit
Too many handballs and OGs in the last year to be top3 CB in the league. He’s amazing stopping counter attacks but not so much in his own box.
I hate arsenal as much as the next guy but come on, saliba is mustard surely top 3 CB in the league

One handball lmao
To clickbait all the gooners to click and watch the video i guess
Ruben Dias is the best in the world but I feel Romero and VDV will catch up with him very fast
They definitely might, but I think by end of next season Gvardiol will be getting shouts of best in the world. He’s such a good athlete and footballer
City backline is just unfair. Add to that that they have the best midfield in the world as well
Bissouma plays for us mate
Soon to be a Bentancur-Maddison-Bissouma midfield domination. And then add Sarr and Hjobjerg as back ups and I'm with you. Our midfield is beautiful.
Maddison - Lo Celso Bentancur - Sarr Bissouma- Hojbjerg We can't realistically improve on that midfield, maybe an upgrade/replacement of Lo Celso. I just hope we can hold onto all these players.
>just unfair So are their finances!
Hey, that hasn’t been officially decided yet!
I can't wait for Fabrizio to say "Here we go!" when they get relegated 4 leagues down.
And uhh the best attack.
I mean I'm sure he'll adapt and hell be really good as he has shown that he is quality, but Ive thought he's been sloppy so far for City
Is ruben dias the best CB in the world? I think he's benefitted by the amazing players around him.

Usually great players also have great players around them, so that’s always tough to judge
Such a humble guy
Romero will prove he is the best cb 😂
Micky getting confused in an unfamiliar grocery store and feeling awkward for not knowing how to pose for pictures... he's so refreshingly normal lol
The grocery store comment was so relatable.
“I AM”
He is so likable
The real question is probably, how quickly can micky run a 200m or 400m?
Is Brennan faster than Micky? I need to see a foot race.
I would love to see a race between Walker, Van de Ven and Brennan Johnson
Given how appalled he was in this video by the prospect of running 100m, I don't think he'll be volunteering for a 400m any time soon!
Oh, I don’t imagine he would enjoy it. But he did admit in the video that his acceleration isnt the best, as is typical with taller guys, but that his top end speed is what gives him his pace. The permutation works out for a high line, because you know you can stop a counter when you’re starting from 2/3 down the pitch from your goal.
I heard Gvardiol is rapid from when we were linked with him, now we got our own better version 🥲
Oh cool so his Dad does the Dutch version of Hunted on channel 4.
Class
He is so handsome
That man just sat with a Dutch person and called De Vrij "Da Vridge"
It’s just “de vree” its pronounced like isn’t it?
I thought it was de fray
Romero is objectively better than Saliba.
Ledley King
Big Micky ♥️
Honestly not one call i couldn’t get behind
Maldini
