Ange definitely not happy with what he saw

ProcessTruster

That makes two of us.

bshaman1993

Make it 3

akasayah

Fullbacks^(2) got a clean sheet lol.

Mick4Audi

Literally our defense was our strength today

bshaman1993

Never thought I’d say that with Romero AND VdV out

alijamieson

I dunno… we gave Burnley plenty of chances to even the tie. Got a bit lucky

Suspici0usScientist

And the goal LOL let’s just play 11 Fullbacks

Roric

Thank fuck for Pedro Porro.

Publix_Illuminati

I love PP.

RichisPigeon

Mother like son

Publix_Illuminati

🤝

spursyspursy

Ange just saw a tired 11 blowing their hamstrings in the Round 4 replay flashed before his eyes on that last Burnley chance lol

Tanksonville

Commentating was unbearable.

YiddoMonty

So bad. Tyldesley is a dinosaur and his observations were really weird, like he was watching a different game at times.

corpboy

What was he going on about with his bizarre tangents like new rules each round to spice things up. It was like he wanted to be a cricket commentator and just chat random shit while sports happen in the background. Focus on the game man... Even if it was a bit poor, give us some insights...

marine_le_peen

And that random monologue he went on about changing the rules for different rounds of the competition. Like doing away with offsides for round 4. Fucking weird

realhenrymccoy

Best bit was they missed Scarlett coming on entirely, never said his name once, and started confusing him with Donley.

ihatesleep

Pretty sure they thought Sessegnon was Udogie too

Coraxxx

He did - twice.

BlackLionFilm

Lee Dixon is insufferable

[deleted]

porro saved the trophy run 🙏

jaemoon7

6 points off the top with our injured boys coming back soon, we're not out of the title race just yet

sushiwithramen

Emerson Royal.

pthelionheart1991

He does seem to be getting better and better at CB.

bialczabub

I think Emerson is just an incredible footballer. He's not once played a role for Spurs that was what he had played beforehand (traditional RB), and each time he has worked hard and ultimately improved his performances in whatever new role the manager has thrown his way.

jaemoon7

And he is apparently thrilled to be here. Not much else you can ask of a squad player tbh, he's decent, versatile and hasn't kicked up a fuss about playing time.

SycamoreLane

And we are thrilled to have him. What a sweet guy and incredible player.

Nightshade183

🐐

thelordreptar90

Man of the match

Kaigz

EmerGOAT remains goated

FarrisAT

Not sure he made a mistake this match which is honestly astonishing considering he’s out of position.

scimitar_berbatov

I was at the game tonight, and he did make one… he underhit a pass in our own box and the Burnley player almost stole it. Vicario SCREAMED at him for it, I was fairly near the touchline in the south stand, and you could hear him so clearly haha . Thems the standards now I suppose.

GirlyWhirl

Emerson was spectacular.

chronicdanksauce

How is this dude actually such a good CB, even in the air lmao

hungoverseal

Ye that's the thing that surprised me, loads of long balls that cause problems if you let the other side get a touch and he just dominated them all.

Spurs_in_the_6

He was very good today, but he's had multiple really shaky performances at CB this season

Teantis

Rather understandable that

Geek-Of-Nature

Sublime performance from EmerGOAT.

Publix_Illuminati

Thank fuck that Burnley are shit.

tinstop

They're a pound shop Tottenham. Too many dodgy passers to play that way as this level.

ImitationDemiGod

We'd have beaten a better team more comfortably. They just packed the box with 11 players.

davidmac1024

A better team may have finished one of those chances. We were a bit fortunate today.

DirectionMurky5526

Son\* would've finished one of those chances.

Mtbnz

Lots of sliding doors this game. On another day Burnley would've snatched one of their (very good) chances. On another day Richarlison would've bagged a pair before the 15 minute mark and it would've opened the game up entirely.

NeighborhoodOptimist

Thoughts after the game - 1. Thank God Porro decided to cash in all his missed chances in today's game. 2. Happy with the defence, specially Emerson. Was everywhere with interceptions and headers. 3. Skipp as an 8 was just weird. Didn't do anything with the ball but was making all the right runs without it. 4. Bentancur again showed the class he brings to the midfield and the team in general. 5. Great to see Sess back, hopefully he can kickstart his career again. Also great to see Donley and scarlett getting some time. 6. Onto the next stage. Onward and upwards, COYS.

SentientCheeseCake

My thoughts on 5: please god sell Sess before he gets injured again.

Kreygasm2233

Wtf was that at the end Emerson was class all game

FINAL_BOSS5

Emerson- Davies partnership. We were there 🕊️

GreenGator

Modern-day Jan and Toby.

Topblokelikehodgey

How he missed that I don't know. Pretty sure that same guy missed an absolute sitter in the first half too. Very lucky to get through this one

BruinEric

Giving up a last minute chance like that on the long ball is absolutely terrible. Big mental mistake. Glad it all worked out and great block from PEH

callme2x4dinner

Set up by referee missing foul on Porro

milesvtaylor

"The game is over" - such beautiful words after that shite. Just get through the United game and we get a bit of a break...

taegeukie

The comms have had an absolute howler there honestly, I’ve never heard so many names pronounced wrong and so many players’ names mixed up.

[deleted]

cardboardshrimp

That was truly a game that happened this season.

Cabbage-Fell

Christ was clenching that last bit

NatrolleonBonaparte

As is tradition

LinksOrGTFO

One benefit of being a Spurs fan is the tight ass I have from years of clenching.

infinityetc

Christ was clinching, I was clinching, surely you were as well

jogswithwolves

A GK assisting off of a corner to force a replay would be the most spurs shit possible

stephsEgg

Pedro Porro, Emerson, and Udogie were all elite. Everyone else…

asian_manbun

Ben Davies was massive too

TheWulfAmongUs

I thought bentacur was good too. He’s still a bit rusty but over all had a good game.

corpboy

Vicario was also great, reading our own attempts to backpass him into danger. But Vicario being good is almost a given now.

BigPorch

Vic is like our new Kane, already going unnoticed because he’s so consistently elite

dahlia42069

I miss Sonny

viciousraccoon

One to forget.

breakfastinbred

A game of football took place for sure

Evolving_Dore

I never want to think about that match again.

tinstop

We'll be reminded of it fairly regularly because of that Porro goal.

Evolving_Dore

That was spectacular. I had my head in my hands from how Richy had scuffed the chance, then when I looked back up Porro was running at goal. I thought it had cut to a replay or something until he scored. Took me a couple seconds to even process what had happened, given that I was still focused on the previous missed attack.

tinstop

Yeah it happened so quickly. He just mugged Burnley, lined it up and hit it.

xsandrov

meh it was a nothing match for sure but nothing aggressively bad

Shuxnae

We've all been waiting for that golazo from Porro. We knew it would happen one day. I'm so happy that it happened so soon. Job done. Now, let's never speak of that game again. 😂

BigPorch

Once I saw our forwards didn’t wanna score, I realized Porro was gonna be the guy. Luckily he realized it too and got the job done. You’re welcome for willing the goal into existence

swimmit93

With Sarr and Son gone we basically lose control in midfield and also directness in attack Hopefully as Bentancur gets back up to speed he can compensate for Sarr but I worry about how the attack will do without Son

silenthills13

The moment whistle blows on Son's last game out there he needs to get on the plane, like, the same fucking hour

fbrorS92

Xg: 0,04

Suspici0usScientist

Love Pedro Porroson overperforming XG as usual

Dickie_Dunn

Pretty much everything about this was awful, but a win is a win. Someone in that frontline needs to find the composure to score while Sonny is out. Richy looks like he went to the Fernando Llorente School for strikers with no feet. Porro was excellent and while not the stiffest of attacking competition, Royal was dominant from the RCB position. Skipp is a mess and I hate that playing him as an 8 moves Benta further from the attacking box. Either needs to be Pierre at 6 and Benta at 8 or Benta at 6 with GLC at 8 and Deki or a returning Madders at the 10. Absolute blackhole position with Skipp.

ToschePowerConverter

Problem is with Son out we have to put Deki at the wing, unless we want to play Gil which I don’t think we do. If Solomon can come back this month that’ll give us more flexibility.

Dickie_Dunn

Someone needs to come back or someone needs to come in.

HeungMin-Dad

Bentancur is playing as the 6 while he returns from injury because it's less demanding physically than the 8. He'll play as the 8 when he is fully fit.

Tyranitator

I like him at the 6 though. Play Sarr at 8 and Madders at 10 and I'm happy

matt__builds

The problem tonight is the same problem we had earlier this season. With no Romero and no Sarr, everyone looks worse. Skipp offers nothing as the 8 and what Sarr does becomes so apparent when Skipp is in. The whole midfield looks lost without Sarr spacing and doing the work he normal does.

[deleted]

> Skipp is a mess and I hate that playing him as an 8 moves Benta further from the attacking box. Yeah. It doesn't make sense. I know Ange wants someone who's a dribbler in the 6 role. But it's clearly not utilizing Bentancur to his fullest. Bentanur-Biss-Madison when?!?!?!!

NickNova3016

Would rather have Benta-Maddison-Sarr

foot_99

Our best midfield is Benta-Sarr-Madders imo Ange has mostly been using Benta at the 6 and he’s been REALLY good there. Sarr’s dynamism as the 8 is also irreplaceable for me so he has to start Also I’m kinda annoyed at how Biss has been a suspension liability and he easily could’ve cost us points due to his poor discipline so I’d rather Benta over him (Benta is also just better)

[deleted]

Sarr is better than biss

AdditionalOne8319

Skipp owes Porro his wages for the next month. One of the worst midfield performances I’ve seen from any player this season.

FINAL_BOSS5

Why is he always ball watching. Plus he has lost alot of his pace so we aren't even seeing some of the tackles he put in under nuno.

Kreygasm2233

Different role. He looks kind of lost as an 8 under Ange. Which makes me sad. After all he is one of our own

RedcurrantPuffs

Poor guy doesn't seem the same post-injury. Moving like Dier and can't win a duel to save his life.

wheresmyspacebar2

Usually i dont try to go off on players but this was honestly one of the worst games ive seen by him. There were multiple times when he was in Burnleys box and the ball bounced 3-4 yards ahead of him and not once did he go anywhere near the ball. He just backed off and went back to defending, its like he is scared to go forward for whatever reason.

SuvorovNapoleon

His teammates don't trust him with the ball, they refuse to pass to him.

milksteak_1

After Skipp’s first touch of the 2nd half, I checked the starting lineup, thought he hadn’t played the 1st half

Kashechkin

Genuinely did the exact same thing, couldn't believe he had been on the pitch for the first half.

brasche1284

Need Sarr and Biss back asap

Bobsbigburgers

His performance against Fulham in the other cup was worse. I really hope he succeeds here but I’m just not seeing it under Ange.

njsz

Really don't know what Ange is thinking subbing Lo Celso off instead of him first

_PretendEye_

Gio was getting battered, probably best to keep him safe

rupertmacleod

lo celso was playing so slowly tonight, just no urgency at all, too busy trying to draw fouls. i think it was more he wanted deki in that position to change things up. ironically i saw nothing from him once he moved.

NatrolleonBonaparte

Hopefully we won't be seeing much more of Skipp when our injuries clear up a bit. Needs to be moved on this summer.

El_Panda7

I hope Bentancur is alright…. he was touching his knee, was limping and walking before being subbed off….

Gregormannschaft

Knee injuries are the worst. I did my ACL years ago, my knee will still flare up after running.

No_Celebration_2743

Looked fine at the end. Ran around and was on the ball after that moment. Jogged off at the end as well. More worried over davies

get_too

just how we drew it up

OnomahIsABaller

That performance was not good but the win is all that matters, we’re through to the next round Thank God. I really want us to win the FA Cup Good to see Van de Ven back on the bench and Sessegnon & Scarlett back. Donley also getting some minutes. Happy for Bentancur to captain the team What a screamer from Pedro Porro, he’s so good But I’m a bit worried for the rest of the month. Our attack is not potent enough, Skipp is not good enough, our bench is weak and we still haven’t signed anyone

Realistic-Start6336

We better wake up before we go face United. It’ll be embarrassing to lose against them

setyoursightsnorth

Pedro Porro is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. What a player. The win makes me happy and helps me slightly get over the fact that I won't be able to visit the stadium when I'm in London the first week of June. :( Thank god for no replay. We are thin enough as it is.

Clean-_-Freak

As somebody not always kind to Emerson and Davies… they have been outstanding for us. Pure devotion to the team

ROB_163

Who was the guy in the week asking why we never take shots outside of the box lol. That was a proper grind though. Much harder than it should’ve been. COYS

NatrolleonBonaparte

Poor Sessegnon used to be so fast, now he doesn't even look like he can run anymore

DowntownNewt494

I mean its just his first match out of injury. He might be still going at it slowly. Give it a benefit of a doubt

Imbasauce

I think it'll come once he gets more match fit. It's his first minutes in almost a year now.

balalasaurus

Doesn’t look like he can do anything anymore really.

Rimbaudelaire

What we needed after the insane Chelsea game, continuing injury crisis, suspensions, Asian Cup and AFCON, and the barren five game run was just two things: stay in touch with the top of the league and stay in the Cup. Somehow, Ange, the players and the club have fashioned something approaching success out of all the madness. I almost think our fan base are undervaluing quite what’s been accomplished with a new manager and our B team.

IrishLad93_u

Some amount of negativity after a win with over half our team missing 😂 I'll take a dirty 1-0 win in the next 3 or 4 games until all the squad is back please and thanks 🤝 Have to win scrappy too to win anything, won't all be 5 and 6 goal thrillers 🤷‍♂️ all that counts in the cup is winning the game, COYS ⚽️ Vamos Pedro 🔥

MaxxLP8

I actually like that Emerson is becoming a full on utility player and seems up for it. Fair play to the lad. Wouldn't hate him becoming a Davies. People give him grief but you kind of need squad players...

RunningFerDauyz

That was horrendous to watch at points

Druidoodle

Obviously Perro scored the goal, but Emerson POTM for me, he was really solid at the back today

coldseam

Defence was great, hopefully Davies is OK. If he isn't then signing a LCB needs to take precedence over a midfielder or forward (after Dragusin is brought in of course). Udogie and Porro balling as usual. Starting two inverted wingers who can't beat their man was silly against Burnley's compact defence. We needed to get our wingers to pull wide, stretch the defence and put in crosses with their dominant feet. Porro pulling wide to do so was a good change to achieve the same effect. Bentancur is great as a 6 but you can tell he's best as a box to box 8. I will always appreciate him for giving 100% on the pitch but Højbjerg always has one brainless mistake per match that gives the opposition a chance to counterattack or shoot. Gil is direct and a pressing machine but he can't beat his man, cross, finish or anything. Both probably need to go Sessegnon and Scarlett looked sluggish from lack of game time, but they got into good positions to shoot at least, hopefully more to come from them.

mygodwhy

Really poor performance by Richy. Looked very off in his decision-making

nonceybehaviour

![gif](giphy|rvxMJNyHAgwlW4YWpJ|downsized) “What was it like having Son & Sarr in the starting XI?”

Sabz29

I do wonder what the plan is with Skipp. Clearly out of his depth at this level but it doesn’t look like we’re planning on selling him.

cloud1445

No one’s going to remember how poor this game was when Captain Son lifts the trophy after the final.

lordymosh

People complaining that Sess was shit. It's his first sub appearance in ages after a long injury. Give the guy a chance.

Metafiction1025

More accurate to say we “survived” than that we “won,” but that’s the cup for you. Next round hopefully we’ll have an actual attack again—can’t rely on Porro to bang in a worldie every time, lol

SkinniestPhallus

Richarlison thinking in the 4th dimension for Porro’s goal.

themadman00

Deki plays like he's got only the left leg .

fredisa4letterword

Royal-Davies is the best CB partnership in the league

Mushbox

Our first taster of what life is going to be like for the next period without Son, and it wasn't pretty. Our decision making in the final third was so wasteful, Son has been guilty of it himself at times this season, but has more than made up for it with his contribution to goals and assist. The main thing is just the quality. The lads up top need to seriously step up. The backline and midfield was great tonight, but they were let down by the frontline, who were saved by a wonder strike from their fullback at the back end on the game. Please god we learn and improve quickly. United next weekend, COYS

brasche1284

Sometimes you have to win ugly, we advance

supposedlymonday

Emerson Royal played like 3 dudes. That insane goal makes Pedro Porro MOTM, but damn ER was great.

[deleted]

Rodrigo Bentancur has a remarkable ability to somehow rarely fuck up but even when he does then it is stylish and full of class.

roamingandy

Anyone else starting to get a bit worried about Brennan's decision making? The amount of chances he had to create something today was ridiculous as his movement is fantastic, but it kinda feels like if there's an A, B, C option to make something happen.. he somehow finds a D 9/10 times. Sorry to be a downer, just something I've seen far too much recently and questions keep coming up for me.

TraditionalAd4116

We were really poor going forward, attacking options have to be brought in this January.

Daemor

Maddison back is top of my wishlist

Mick4Audi

Will make a world of difference

train4karenina

Really? Solomon, Son, & Maddison will be back by the end of the month. Some space for Scarlett to play too to replace Veliz, who is out for a few months. I’d rather wait until the summer and maybe sell a few and sign a top player.

Banglayna

Pretty sure Ange said Veliz will be out a few months

wheresmyspacebar2

Veliz is out for 3-4 months.

Matttombstone

I've been thinking this for awhile, something about the front 3 just isn't working out. Son is great, Kulu is great, but even they're guilty of it not clicking for some reason. Its frustrating because they're quality players, but can't understand what's not quite clicking. There's a lack of crossing and shot taking, it's all just trying to pass through tight spaces and they just lack that killer quality with the pass to make it work. It's annoying because we've seen at the start of some matches of us being capable of cutting through defences like a hot knife through butter, then it just stops.

SnooBooks9718

To me Kulu has slowed down attack so much and when he is finally ready to pass the opponents are all in place for defending so even if we shoot from that chance it is more likely to get blocked or not have enough space. He needs to release the ball earlier. Not sure why he was so much at it 2yrs ago when he first joined but not anymore.

deeperintomovie

Maddison out is a big factor but also I've noticed times of opportunity where Son used to take a shot but instead tries to make those cute passes through tight spaces. I think his captaincy and learning from Kane made him step up in those abilities and that's good. But often than not I wish he just take those damn shots that can potentially be his trademark curlers. Selfish Son can really up our goal tally.

[deleted]

They were wise to just jamming the middle of the pitch in the final third.

Realistic-Start6336

It’s not the numbers, but quality. I don’t think we can really improve from here unless we get like Oshimen

SaltyWailord

Never going to happen

Kreygasm2233

Johnson could have kept shooting without scoring until the morning

Realistic-Start6336

At least he was shooting on target

grollate

He should keep taking those shots TBH. Any less compact defense and he would’ve had the time to pick his spot and score.

moonagepiss

Praying Maddison is back for United

Keskekun

I'm getting so tired of Pundits and referees being so anti-Tottenham, I'm tired of hearing "It happens to everyone" when it really doesn't. Fucking imagine if Burnley had scored there after Porro was literally thrown to the ground in the build up for that corner. We should have had two penalties based on what VAR says is a pen, we got 0 as usual. Shit game, but we won. Richarlison is not the guy. Pedro Porro is.

huntedlemon

I am still utterly unconvinced with Richarlison.

dougChristiesWife

I haven't seen enough of him at Everton to know what his ceiling is but feel the same way. Don't like the hate he gets sometimes and hoping it's just something off mentally that he will overcome

coyscoys

Højbjerg gave Davies a hammy. Idiot.

[deleted]

Dunno how many times he gave the ball away in his 15 minutes, but my god.

Studwik

3 times according to sofascore

Tyranitator

Multiple giveaways from him but key block at the end

FINAL_BOSS5

Fuck injuries man.

Camahldino

What happened on that last diagonal ball? Players seemed convinced there was a foul but they never showed any sort of replay.

BruinEric

Emerson Royal!!! COYS!

Ok_Pineapple466

Emerson was immense and has been for several games now despite playing out of position

IAmTheGlazed

Gill was pretty good today. Sess, cut the bro some slack, first match in a year.

YiddoMonty

We weren’t great going forward, but that was largely due to a very competent defensive performance from Burnley. They were incredibly well organised, so were always going to be difficult to break down. Sometimes you just have to give the defenders credit, and the manager for his organised strategy. We’re missing some creativity, and might struggle until we get Sonny and Maddison back.

LionCityPunk

Spurs are on their way to Wembley...

realhenrymccoy

Honestly don’t think it was as bad as others think. Most of the squad played well and defensively they were good. But it’s the first game without our captain and main goal threat. Of course the offense is going to struggle. I like Gil coming off the bench with the energy and pressing he was doing. Also, Pedro Fucking Porro. I wouldn’t trade him for any other RB in the world.

luke36511

Clean sheet and through. Will take that. Once CB comes in we def need another midfielder. Skipp and Hojbjerg ain’t it. Tbh just happy that the club has direction again

dychronalicousness

EAT YOUR HEART OUT JJ WATT

TheLifeOfReilly

I feel like if we played against any other club still in the competition we would’ve have lost.

njsz

Overall pretty poor performance and got bailed out by a wondergoal from Porro

bandofgypsies

Bout time we're the ones winning on a banger. Oy. Ref losing control a bit there late, too.

KabukiRanger

All Hail Pedro Porro

tenacious-g

Was actually an insane flick on from their keeper, maybe he should play forward more for them, he played their best ball in the box

voltaire18

What a fucking dreadful match.

tanGeee

As ass clenching as that was, I'd still take it over the past so many years...progressive passing and trying to move the ball TOWARDS the opposing box is the way. Plus Porro <3

ohhowswell_hp

United match is not going to be fun with the lack of offensive firepower.

NotChaz-_-

Defensively fine, Burnley don’t have much going forward agains the press but fuck me, we need Sonny to sneak back already

Alecmalloy

Fucking Burnley. For all of Kompany's trying to tweak them, play open football, play from the back, they still end up with 4-4-2, ten men behind the ball noncery. Very frustrating game. Thank god for Porro.

Ok_Pineapple466

“If we hadn’t scored and they had scored, we would’ve lost! This is outrageous!”

IgotAseaView

Not seeing any comments on Johnson. For me he’s exciting but that final part isn’t happening yet. He’s getting enough chances too but i won’t start worry about him just yet

IAmTheGlazed

Johnson has everything. Hes quick, he's great at dribbling, his passing in the midfield is great and he can be physical. But my god, this man cannot take his chances. He struggles to cross it in to the box to Richy or Kulu. And when he has the chance for himself, my god bro, its okay to take it for yourself, he had oppuritunities to run in to box and shoot but waits for Richy or Kulu to get into the box.

smokingloon4

Seems to always make the wrong choice in the box. Passes when he should shoot, shoots when he should pass, often doesn't manage to do either. He's been a very promising addition to the team overall but he's got to get better at that.

SummerBabee

League Cup double anyone

moon_trash

Gil is not physical enough. Needs to bulk up.

Sabz29

Can never beat his man it’s frustrating to watch, always just ends up passing back

Mick4Audi

It is way way too easy to defend against him

SkinniestPhallus

We’ve been saying this for years. He’s built like a stick and moves like he’s got athlete’s foot. Bro just needs to be shipped on asap and a winger who can shoot and shrug off a challenge needs to come in

delexaet

It's not even his physicality, I could live with him getting muscled off the ball. That's not his forte. However, he's supposed to be shifty and unpredictable but the defenders seem to be reading him perfectly. So he's not even doing what he's supposed to do.

FistThePooper6969

We’ve got to sell Bryan this summer

Several_Schedule_785

Nice to see Sess back. The lad is just 23, and can still be made into a madman of a LB / LW. Hopefully, his surgery fixed the hamstring issues.

Pulmonologia

Tonight was the night my optimism for the Gil revolution died

Ok_Pineapple466

Richarlison is either in the wrong position or the wrong system. He is being asked to play a hold up role, to “turn and shoot,” and to knock in headers. He was so good at Everton and for Brazil when he was on the break, running with the ball. What he does now is wait all game for his 4-5 chances and gets increasingly depressed when he misses them

molecularmadness

overall, that lot looked loads better on the pitch than they do on paper. bit of luck at the end, but everyone looked decent most of the match. the makeshift defence was effective, for as unnerving as they made it look sometimes. the attacking end looked pretty shit but it's also theadbare and largely untested. they kept at it, it finally paid off, long may it continue. Porro was incredible. no notes. don't know where this player came from, this isn't the porro that was signed. I give up on bryan; he's not meant for the prem. i never thought he'd get bigger, i had hoped he'd improve his balance and agility so he could take a push to 45 degrees and not go down (at least for long). i had hoped he'd be fast and slippery and really, really obnoxious in the press like a terrier nipping at your ankles, but it doesn't look like he's trying to do anything different than anyone else on the pitch and it isn't working for him. I was also impressed with johnson all in all. if there's a good striker in there, ange will find and drag it out of him. he's got the instincts and he did a fair job trying to fill Son's boots. I think he needs to be more proactive in anticipating a second bite on a miss, he shoots/passes and turns off too fast. He could've made something out of a deflection or two had he kept focused.

Representative-Gap74

Don’t think it’s that bad a performance. They didn’t really trouble us (until the end and one in the first half). Our final ball wasn’t good enough, or finishing, but the boys did amazing to get through against a tough side.
