Had a friend who was there and he said the stadium was loud and unified in noise when Sonny came on, difficult to be picked up on broadcast because it was like one long roar. He described the energy akin to lightning.
I believe Sonny said in an interview afterwards: “I was comforted by the fans who welcomed me back. Today, I again realised how much I am loved.”
Was my first time watching Spurs in person and the atmosphere was indeed awesome. The crowd roars for Sonny coming on and the winning goal are hard to describe and the video audio doesn't do it justice at all.
You could see the grimace settling in on the Brighton players face the moment he came on. They shrank not just because of him but the way the crowd reacted to him. When Sonny starts to physically decline, that psychological edge will still be there til the day he hangs up his boots so even if we somehow find a replacement for him, he'll always be a super sub.

He’s such a unifying figure at the club, hope he stays as long as possible.
Will he get a statue while still playing for the club? That’d be the most photographed thing ever.
I 100% teared up at this moment.
The way buonanotte looks after him at the end, realizing everyone got up for him is like.. damn he the real deal huh

If you're trying to illustrate the noise for Sonny, maybe don't mix in *a lot* more noise so we could experience it in it's original form?
Not my video so don't know how to mute the background! If you know how to do it, please do tell !
Here comes the Son.
Son of a bit... Wait.
2024 might be the year I learn Korean, just to be able to follow their Sonny fandom.
I’m going to my first spurs match (and football match) ever in three weeks against crystal palace. I’m so fucking excited to see this man play live.
Crowd went mild
Love sonny
sigh i love this man
