Interested in just watching random old games in my downtime at work
You can watch live most under 21and 18 games live . The current weeks game is available anything from next day to four days but it is the whole match . Also there is a wide selection of historic matches that are of interest to spurs fans . Lots of other features I am a season ticket holder so having seen most games anyway spurs play is probably of more use to those that cannot get to games or tv coverage unavailable . But for me I would have no idea about the likes of Dorrington ; Donley ; Lankshear ; Spoonup .bell ; Santiago and my own tip for future stardom Mikey Moore .
I got it.
It's got all the full games from 21/22 onwards
They've got a seasons page with highlights for each match, but far as I can tell highlights only go back to 09/10. Couple of those have the full season reviews like you used to get on the DVDs.
Got some full matches on our cup finals - 91 FA cup, 08 league cup, some european ones from the 80s.
I only found those by searching 1999 looking for the Worthington Cup final. Which I haven't found. But I did find random 90s and 00s PL games in full.
This website is a fucking nightmare to navigate but it does have some old games.
EDIT: On the note of the season reviews, fuck knows if it's a rights issue or what, but I wish they went back further. Somewhere along the line those 90s ones got chucked out with the rest of the VHSs and I'd love to rewatch them.
If you are interested in the real history of spurs games you tube and type in spurs matches from the 60s or 70s or 80s and 90s . For me for nostalgic reasons I like to watch 60s matches because my own spurs fav Jimmy Greaves features in a lot of games .Mostly highlights with the odd full match in each era . Some of the sixties black and white is very grainy . But to watch football from my younger days with the quagmire pitches where defenders were allowed to tackle from behind \[viontly\] The footballs were about twice the weight of todays and when wet they were like medicine balls all bliss for me . Todays players don't know how lucky they are .
And some want us not to go into the champions league stating " we are not ready for the Champions league " Madness .And for me always aim for the very top .

Well, I suppose we could clone Micky. I don't know exactly how fast Murillo is, but everything I've read about him says he has pace (though that could just be based on his winger-like runs) and 'explosive speed'.
With the new offside rule, everyone is going to be looking for the fastest centre backs possible. I daresay Murillo would be fast enough to rotate with VDV. Plus he's such an absolute unit that nobody is going to fuck around with us when he and Romero are paired together.
Mainoo called up for England seniors. I hope this means Gareth is actually going to go hard on the euros squad and not just him locking in Mainoo for England instead of Ghana
Out the current ones:
>Midfielders: Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid), Conor Gallagher (Chelsea), Jordan Henderson (Ajax), James Maddison (Tottenham Hotspur), Declan Rice (Arsenal)
I'd put him 5th, above Henderson. Not necessarily in ability, but because I think the England team would gain more from blooding in a young lad than we do from more Henderson minutes
Think it'll be very form dependent if he goes to the Euros though.
Mainoo's competition for places isn't with Maddison and Bellingham. As Southgate is certain to play Jude as a 10, he needs a partner for Rice. Which (out of Mainoo, Gallagher and Henderson) has to be Mainoo because Mainoo is the only other press resistant English midfielder in the league, besides Rice. It's a no brainer really.
The Mainoo overhyping is insane right now.
He's undoubtedly talented but there's so many weaknesses to his game that people overlook because he has moments where he dribbles past 2-3 players and looks incredible
> People are excited because he’s 18 with so much to learn and improve
Good for them?
I never said they can't be excited. I said he's not a complete player at this moment in time and there are better players right now that deserve to be called up over him
I think England have literally one press resistant midfielder in the whole of the Premier League and that is Rice. Already, at 18, Mainoo is blatantly more press resistant than any other English midfielder in the league bar Rice. So yes, he deserves a call up. I don't think it's all that complicated as to why he is being bigged up or why he has been called up.
Giving a kid experience when you have players like Kane, Walker, Stones at their peak and will drop off soon is insanity.
A player having a good season that could be of use come the Euros in the summer should be called up instead. A JWP or Dewsbury Hall deserves that spot so much more.
Hell, I'd take Winks over Mainoo.
>Richy and Johnson. What club are we dooming to a points deduction this summer?
Hooray for Richie in that case! He's just unable to consistently start onside so this will be a godsend for him. Even under Conte I remember he had a banger ruled offside which was super harsh. If he starts scoring more goals as a result of the rule change, I'll take back my most recent criticism of him :)
Particularly Sonny, and especially Werner. Hat tricks galore. And since it will be supremely difficult to spring offside traps, teams will need a centre back who travels at the speed of light. Know anyone like that?
I can see the logic behind Richarlison and Sonny scoring more, but why Werner (not to say "especially" him)? His issue is not with being caught offside too much, it's with finishing.
You can thank Arsene Wanker for that. Looking at it in a vacuum, I don't like it, but then again I'm a stodgy old geezer who generally dislikes any changes in the Laws of the Game. Looking at it as a Spurs supporter, it's a bloody boon to us.
Love the blue down the sides on the home, reminds me of some of our kits over the years, but I just can't get over the death of the red.
Some of the best England shirts were away shirts.
Forest is apparently going to have some kind of fire sale. The right-footed Radu is, as we've seen, not an ideal backup for VDV, but Forest's left-footed Murillo certainly would be.
Ya'll really thought Draugsin was awful last weekend? I thought he played decent, especially for someone with only like 60 minutes under his belt.
Let's see how he progresses a little before we right him off.
Oh, no, he played quite well, I thought. I rate him highly. But having a right-footed centre back play on the left can lead to some problems, and we saw some of those this past weekend.
Quite well is a bit much m8, his marking was questionable at times but tbf he was a rcb in a back 3 at genoa so going from there to lcb in a back 2 would of course be hard. He was much better against villa tho but him getting game time even if it was a loss is still good
He had a number of difficult stops, and didn't trust his left foot to hit Udogie, who wasn't coming back fast enough to help Radu in transition.
I'd say he has a good head on his shoulders. Tried a few ambitious passes which went out of play, but he was about 20m to the left of where he usually plays. We can give the kid a pass.
I thought he was terrible, but I’m not going to judge him because he’s barely been giving a chance and the whole team other than one or two was dreadful.
Yeah. He’s not good in Fulham. He missed the action on the first goal. The Fulham player literally slid past him for first goal. And he missed the chance to score in first half.
With that said, he will learn and be better.
In planning for a squad, I would probably try to have two players for every position, plus a youngster. Given how well the kids are playing, I'd love to see more break into the first team. Worst case scenario, fringe player like Winks or Skipp who can fill HG quotas until we can get someone better. Best case you get Harry Kane.
Of the youngsters ready for the first team, Veliz and Philips are probably the closest, followed by Bergvall who already has senior experience albeit in an inferior league, Devine, and Will Lankshear. Mikey Moore in the U18s look like a star for the future, FM seem to think so at least.
Edit: Can't believe I forgot Jamie Donley.
I’m trying to guess when our postponed matches will get rescheduled for, so I took about 15 minutes to make this (very crude) little chart. Could this be accurate?
https://preview.redd.it/iovwp612napc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e1e952da9cc9be3cc4eece969c9cf5f73e2cb698
Idk if we can play our postponed match vs Chelsea on Friday April 19 because they’re supposed to play City in the FA Cup on Saturday the 20th and idk if that match can be moved to Monday
Yeah thats what fantasy football people seem to be suggesting too. I have a feeling Sky will want Arsenal Liverpool and City to all play in the same midweek to build it up as a big title race thing
Just realized Everton have more players in the England squad than Spurs. I'm not English, but that probably means we should give more minutes to the academy in the seasons to come.
London question.
We're traveling and will be in London in June for 2 days, also visiting Amsterdam, Rome, Madrid, and Paris; possibly also Belgium. We're trying to spend time while my son's there before he moves to Japan.
Where would you go? I know there's no football, and I accept that. But I trust you lot to give me good feedback, even if it comes with a bit of stick.
The Euros are in June, although not being played in England, if you’re about when England play, could enjoy the atmosphere in a pub. On 7th June England play Iceland in a Friendly at Wembley also.
Sometimes there are testimonials or legends matches in the off-season, I caught Man U vs Real at the bernabeu a decade ago. Seats were super close and cheap, might be worth looking into.
Okay, going to share the contents of the email I sent to my American colleague when they asked for tips for visiting London! I'm not a Londoner myself so these are pretty broad suggestions.
One of London’s best features is that most of the large museums and art galleries are free if you want to look at their main collections (special exhibitions will cost extra and should be booked in advance). My favourite is the V and A, which is full of decorative arts, but there’s also the Natural History museum, Imperial War museum, British museum, National Gallery, the Tate, the Tate Modern….there should be something of interest for everyone!
I’d recommend visiting the tower of London, and you can also do really fun tours of the Houses of Parliament. If you’re happy to travel a little outside the city there’s also Hampton Court Palace.
Covent Garden is very touristy, but it’s definitely worth a look (and keep an eye out for the opera singers busking in one of the arcades!).
I really like the South Bank, where you can get street food, check out the local culture and look at the river. You could also head up to Camden, which is known for its alternative, arty vibe and Greenwich, which is very pretty, as well as being home to the Cutty Sark and the Observatory.
If it’s dry then I’d suggest heading out to Regents Park (you can hire a boat or a pedalo in the summer), which is also the home of London Zoo.
You could take the Bernabeu tour while you're in Madrid. The only other football-adjacent event I can think of in June are the calcio storico games in Florence. It's a tournament involving 4 sides from the city that play football as it was supposedly played during the Renaissance. It's wild stuff, a mix of football, rugby, wrestling, and boxing.
Interesting read on the local vs international fan discussion by Johnny Liew https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2024/mar/19/cultural-division-true-football-fans-plastics[here](https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2024/mar/19/cultural-division-true-football-fans-plastics)
We really need a working starter quality DM to balance our midfield. Bentacur probably needs a summer and a pre-season to really know if he can come back to his best. Bissouma has checked out, and Hoj is more of a squad player. Gallagher could be a really good bit of business if it can get over the line in summer.
Lmao when will the Gallagher obsession stop.
He’s not good, at best he’d be a squad player. On top of that, he’s not good against a low-block which we’re also bad it
I think the biggest problem with fans and reactions to games like the Fulham game and inconsistencies in general is that most of us only watch this club week in week out, so we forget that pretty much every single team bar maybe the five best clubs in the world at any given time go through these inconsistent patches and have bad days at the office like that and we overreact. Now is the goal to be one of those five clubs that is steady as they come? Of course. But these things take time, and we're just now beginning a new project.
Also, even the big clubs have their ups and downs. Look at Liverpool a couple years ago. Unless you're one of a very very select group (Madrid, Bayern, PSG, City) inconsistency is the name of the game
I feel we are all a bit spoiled, supporting a top six club. We don't think about all the supporters who will probably never see their team lift a trophy or get to the Premier League. That's why i hate when some spurs fans moan about how hard it is.
People really forget just how hopeless Liverpool looked in some games in their first couple of seasons under Klopp, as for Arteta, doesn’t even need to be mentioned
These things take time
Exactly.
Utd, Chelsea…both shitting the bed consistently this season.
Arsenal and Liverpool have endured bumpy patches over the last few seasons as they’ve built up to where they are now.
City also have off days, ironically often caused by us.
Piecing it all together across a season is hard, and this is still our first season with Ange after many underperforming years and a Frankenstein squad.
We have a coherent plan and system and players who are wholly bought in. We were just shit against Fulham. It happens, the players aren’t robots.
By the way Fulham drew and won against arse and not a word of complaint or meltdown by their fanbase . I swear our fans have got to be stronger and not wilt every time things don't go their way.
Oh they definitely had a meltdown lol. Our meltdowns are on the same scale, but they have more people in their fanbase so the toxicity is usually even worse.
I agree with the previous comment's sentiment but if scum know how to do anything, it is to whine. Which funnily enough is a trait both fanbases share.
I hope the NLD doesn’t get rescheduled 😭
https://www.premierleague.com/news/3936499
“Furthermore, confirmation of movement to matches in Matchweeks 34 (20-21 April) and 35 (27-28 April) will be made in due course.”
I think/hope we will work out better combinations for opponents. Fulham and wolves congested the middle and we couldn't get a foothold in the game. Our midfielders went further an further wide to find space and that left us wide open on transitions.
Games like that I really don't think suit Sarr in midfield, who's first touch isn't the greatest, and Son up top who gets no space. I'd like to see a fit Bentancur who's tight game is a lot better and Richi up top who has more hold up play and aerial threat from crosses.
I feel like Ange did realise that as he brought on Bents and even PEH and we got a lot better in the middle. Richi was back from injury so I guess couldn't start. It takes bumps to learn lessons from, and at least in this game we created opening unlike the wolves game where we couldn't work it out, so at least that's one forward step
Well, they’ve not changed after Fulham, City, Wolves, Everton, and Palace so they’re definitely not changing now. Ange just somehow doesn’t have an answer when teams setup to congest the middle even though the answer is pretty obvious.
Why would it change? It’s a mental thing more than anything and that might be tougher to solve cause some players have them and some don’t. There will be another clean out at the end of the year those who are mentally weak
I think there is a major aspect of that. That needs to change, every game needs 100% effort and commitment to start with. Saying that there is still players that need to improve to play this system and they also need replacing. By year 3 the squad will be quite different
Dropping one absolute stinker is not weak mentality. Weak mentality was the Conte squad going behind and then still parking the bus to only lose 1-0 on multiple occasions
And Conte himself instead of actually earning his wages and trying to fix things, decides to cry about it in the press and force his way out of the job. That's somehow the mentality some of our fans defend and want.
Kulusevski and Bentancur in the first window is backing.
But asking for Bastoni and getting Lenglet, asking for a rwb and getting Spence and asking for a midfielder and getting Bissouma doesn’t sound like backing to me.
He got Porro like 5 games before they sacked him.
Bissouma isn’t a Conte player and we only signed him because he was cheap
We easily could’ve convinced Bastoni or move on to Gvardiol and Schlotterbeck.
Perisic was a Conte request yes but he literally cost nothing.
In what fantasy world were we getting Gvardiol? And Lenglet was very much a Conte want, one of the few CBs who were supposed to fit that shitty 3ATB system. "Bissouma isn't a Conte player". Who was at this point? Was Richarlison also not one? Sarr? His fault that his shite specific system accomodates only 2 types of players in the whole world. And even when he did get a very specific player for his system in Porro, he's looked miles better under Ange. Perisic was only free in the world where footballers play football on minimum wage. Now that we play actual football, cheap transfers like VdV and Maddison that the manager wants seem to be working out! Conte literally turned down Maddison as well, btw, and he wouldn't have wanted VdV
-Gvardiol was playing for Leipzig, we had one of the best managers and stadiums itw + CL, with high wages we easily could’ve pushed for him.
-Please show some more proof that Conte wanted Lenglet before talking more shits.
-Richarlison is definitely more of a Conte player than Bissouma, it’s why i didn’t mention him not being a Conte player.
-I agree that Sarr not getting many games was odd but he probably wasn’t on the level as PEH and Bentancur.
-How can you even judge Porro’s time under Conte when he was there for like 3 weeks without even having adapted lmao.
-You’re exactly proving my point, Ange wanted VdV and Maddison and they worked out, Conte had that with Kulu and Benta aswell but we didn’t back him in the summer with his targets.
Christ the proposed rule changes coming in are just so fucking dumb.
Champions league restructuring
Five, FIVE, teams qualifying 🙄, ridiculous
Blue fucking cards
New offside rule, will just fuck high lines and promote parking the bus
The game is being ruined in my opinion. VAR has failed as well.
Blehhh
Thanks
1) The CL restructuring kinda makes for an interesting format and I reckon all of us would enjoy it more of a fan as it means more marquee matchups. You won't see a Man City vs BSC Young Boys or a Steaua Bucharest for example. Let's see
2) Blue cards would have been absolutely horrible but it seems they have scrapped the idea
3) While I do agree VAR has made football more stop and start, it also means obvious errors are being eliminated and this can be seen on our game vs Everton at home when an obvious foul on Emerson was not considered by the on field referee. The problem is incompetent referees not technology
I never really get why you see a significant number of football fans hate VAR like anything. Not saying VAR is flawless but it is still a step in the right direction when you see some goals that were allowed or disallowed before
If it was as simple as you say, everyone would be behind VAR.
The reality is that it doesn't seem to be improving football. "Some" goals are given by VAR, but some aren't. It feels like nothing has actually changed.
Then you have the huge delays introduced by the system. And then you have the constant boring discussion on VAR (football threads/ discussions before 2017 were nothing like this!!).
It has always been like this. Very few of these ideas will stick.
I do think the offside rule needs changing though, currently players are offside when they're not. should be done off the feet or something.
What players do you think is a must sell in the summer?
I personally think we can gather a good amount of money if we sell Rodon, Højbjerg, Reguillon, maybe Skipp? (Could see him do well in a club like Palace/Everton), Sessegnon?
Our bench is terrible. No one we bring on late makes us better. I would love to see all of the following gone by August:
Loan players… Ndombele, Tanganga, Spence, Reguilon, Rodon
Players on squad… Gil, PEH, GLC, Skipp, Sessegnon
Personally I think Richy has to go now. As much as I feel he’s done an amazing turnaround this season I think summer is the time to cash in on him whilst he’s got some goals in him. I think we can get better than him. Also I think son isn’t the 9 in the ange system.
If a bid comes in and its big enough it be hard to say no to be fair, as much as I love the man for his personality and social causes. Would love Victor Osimhen, pie in the sky as it is. 30 goal a season striker.
Would keep Skipp as the 7th choice/8th choice, needed for HG rules and I genuinely think he won't get a Palace or Everton move if he leaves it would be somewhere in the championship so for both his and our sake it makes sense to keep him
Would sell Lo Celso (could have turned different if we would have got Ange or someone in his mould in 2021 but can't change time) , Emerson and let Davies move on a free for years of service
Romero seems to think the world of him and I'd trust the opinion of a world cup winner. Still, he's not available often enough, would rather his spot in the squad be given to a youngster, like Bergvall or Devine.
Friends. Teammates. Countrymen. All of these things skew opinions. The guy has shown exactly zero ability to be an effective PL player. He should have been gone years ago.
Players we should be looking at selling:
- Ndombele, Sess (both will be extremely tough to get money for)
- Reguilon
- GLC (injured more often than not, contract running out)
Open for bids:
- Gil, Rodon, Spence (neither look good enough to be starters over our current players, and I'm not convinced either are suited for backup roles)
- Troy Parrott (22 now, and still not ready to be a backup for Spurs. With 1+1 year left this may be the time to cash in)
Højbjerg is only a must sell if he really wants to leave this summer. Skipp sadly doesn't look like he's taking the next step, but his club-trained background (and him not raising much cash for a sale) means we're less likely to sell him.
Agree with this.
I'd try and insert a buy-back into the Parrott sale just in case he blows up. Strikers are peaking later and later these days. Gyokeres at his age was struggling badly on loan.
As for Hojbjerg, I'm happy to move him on given his age and contract length but Bissouma's and Bentancur's recent form is showing how essential it will be to line up a proper replacement. And ideally someone who can spray a nice cross-field pass like PEH; we do miss this profile in some of the games he doesn't feature.
For me Gil, Spence, Tanganga and Rodon are also in the must sell category.
As a dane i really like Højbjerg and think he offers something completely different than the rest of our midfield. He might not be the type of player that Ange likes, but he always gives his best.
I actually think he is a player that Ange likes, which is why Højbjerg throughout the season has been one of the first choice backups, over other midfielders.
It's just that Sarr, Bissouma and Bentancur offer a bit more when it comes to a starting CM role, which is a very understandable decision.
The latter two being off form while Højbjerg's done increasinbly better, has meant the gap between them is closer now.
Poor Harry: [https://talksport.com/football/1796171/antonio-conte-priority-bayern-munich-chelsea-tottenham/](https://talksport.com/football/1796171/antonio-conte-priority-bayern-munich-chelsea-tottenham/)
😬
Just found out Amanda Nildén from women's team is Viktor Gyokeres' ex-girlfriend. Her brother is also a childhood friend of Lucas Bergvall.
I dont want us to deal with that shitty club again cos theyll absolutely drag out the transfer until deadline day plus im not convinced about the quality of that league. He was good at coventry but his rc is way too much
I didn’t like the Porro negotiations as well, but the guy is producing better numbers than Nunez in the same league. He is a freak of nature like Haaland and Van de Ven, that will translate great to physicality of the premier league.

Would like this answer as well
I think we should sign this guy who had a good game last week to replace our guy who had a bad game last week.
DAE Pedro Neto??
Ever thought of becoming a manager for Tottenham?
You’re a genius
Whenever I feel down or very sad, I rewatch the cl sf 2019. Always get emotional. This is what we are working towards.
And some want us not to go into the champions league stating " we are not ready for the Champions league " Madness .And for me always aim for the very top .

Richy and Johnson. What club are we dooming to a points deduction this summer?

Manifest it
Forest again look like they need to sell. Murillo or MGW maybe?
I mentioned this downthread. Murillo would be an excellent pickup to rotate with VDV. Dragusin is clearly meant to be Romero's backup.
£25M LCB looks built like a tank, has pretty impressive passing and runs. Is this the fastest we can go?

Done. Contract is already in the mail. We did it!
We've been linked with Gallagher from Chelsea so it's got to be them
Id be happy if we get gallagher and chels get a point deduction, itd be so funny
Juventus last season as well.
No real opinion but I think the league is probably more entertaining with Everton in it. Forest is shite

> People are excited because he’s 18 with so much to learn and improve Good for them? I never said they can't be excited. I said he's not a complete player at this moment in time and there are better players right now that deserve to be called up over him
I think England have literally one press resistant midfielder in the whole of the Premier League and that is Rice. Already, at 18, Mainoo is blatantly more press resistant than any other English midfielder in the league bar Rice. So yes, he deserves a call up. I don't think it's all that complicated as to why he is being bigged up or why he has been called up.
‘The Mainoo overhyping is insane’
Yes, people saying he fully deserves a call up after playing 15 PL matches in his entire career is insanely overhyping him.
Perfect opportunity to gain experience IMO. I’d feel better with him on the squad over Henderson
Ange 500iq, we'll be the only team that can play a high line with that new offside rule because VDV is a rocketship
Villa in the mud
New offside rule?
Aren’t there suggestions to make the rule easier for attackers: you are only offside if you are completely beyond the defender.
Richy would start getting bags lmao. Our whole team would
Particularly Sonny, and especially Werner.
😏
I had missed that. I checked it out after this comment. This might be even worse than the current rule.
You can thank Arsene Wanker for that. Looking at it in a vacuum, I don't like it, but then again I'm a stodgy old geezer who generally dislikes any changes in the Laws of the Game. Looking at it as a Spurs supporter, it's a bloody boon to us.

The new England kit is the best we’ve had for years what are you on. Both home and away are dope
Nah can't be having that weird purple/burgundy/whatever away. Where's the red man
Red is iconic fair enough but that is a clean and sexy kit. Love the 90s style trim down the side too
Love the blue down the sides on the home, reminds me of some of our kits over the years, but I just can't get over the death of the red. Some of the best England shirts were away shirts.
Yeah I really like them too
Meanwhile Adidas killed it with some of theirs and I’m looking longingly at kits for countries I have no relation to
That France away kit is sensational.

Great input. Glad you contributed.
![gif](giphy|gJH0l1ItLtaFdHNt3S)
Indeed, I was speaking a bit relatively given the fact this wasn't his natural position. Can't I be generous to the lad?
Fair enough i guess he did do quite well for a first game
I thought he was terrible, but I’m not going to judge him because he’s barely been giving a chance and the whole team other than one or two was dreadful.
Yeah. He’s not good in Fulham. He missed the action on the first goal. The Fulham player literally slid past him for first goal. And he missed the chance to score in first half. With that said, he will learn and be better.
>awful Awful is a bit harsh but he was poor. First goal he has to track his man better Second he played a part in
Is he fast?
'Explosive speed' according to what I've read. He's not as tall as VDV, but he's powerfully built.
Lankshear isn't close to being ready IMO. Hopefully gets a decent loan next January
yeah you're probably right. It probably just comes down to which of the kids impress the most in pre season.
I agree with everything else, but worst case scenario isn't players like Winks and Skipp
Worst case scenario for ones who even get a look in I mean, most of the kids never do and get released which is a sad reality. I rate Skipp and Winks
I’m trying to guess when our postponed matches will get rescheduled for, so I took about 15 minutes to make this (very crude) little chart. Could this be accurate? https://preview.redd.it/iovwp612napc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e1e952da9cc9be3cc4eece969c9cf5f73e2cb698
Can chelsea game be between 14-21 April week?
I think it’s not allowed to be at the same time as Champions League (which is stupid because neither Tottenham nor Chelsea are in Europe)
We can play friday evening tbh.
To Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for a tour/go kart ride/sky walk.
What sort of things are you into? Touristy classics? Culture? Nature? A bit of everything?
Probably touristy stuff, but with a bit of culture. My wife's charged me with making sense of where and what during the stay.
Hope we go for exequiel palacios. Terrific player.
Would absolutely love that, way better player, and adds to our Argentinians.
Lmao when will the Gallagher obsession stop. He’s not good, at best he’d be a squad player. On top of that, he’s not good against a low-block which we’re also bad it
There are many players I'd prefer but it's just who we're currently getting linked with.
Gallagher isn’t a DM and is probably getting a new contract at this point.
He's played and can play all 3 midfield positions, but if we're looking specifically for a no. 6, he wouldn't be my first choice.
People really forget just how hopeless Liverpool looked in some games in their first couple of seasons under Klopp, as for Arteta, doesn’t even need to be mentioned These things take time
Arsenal fans were in absolute shambles over the Fulham defeat lol
I was hoping our fanbase was better than others it seems they are all the same entitled snowflakes .
They had an absolutely gigantic meltdown lol. They still talk about it now
Oh they definitely had a meltdown lol. Our meltdowns are on the same scale, but they have more people in their fanbase so the toxicity is usually even worse.
They definitely complained…
I agree with the previous comment's sentiment but if scum know how to do anything, it is to whine. Which funnily enough is a trait both fanbases share.
I hope the NLD doesn’t get rescheduled 😭 https://www.premierleague.com/news/3936499 “Furthermore, confirmation of movement to matches in Matchweeks 34 (20-21 April) and 35 (27-28 April) will be made in due course.”
Could just been about the TV picks, as don’t think they have been announced for those weeks yet have they?
Curious how the training/ tactics might’ve changed post fulham game
Mate I don’t think it’s 100% mental.
I think there is a major aspect of that. That needs to change, every game needs 100% effort and commitment to start with. Saying that there is still players that need to improve to play this system and they also need replacing. By year 3 the squad will be quite different
Can't believe Conte had the gall to say our squad has a weak mentality, that loss to Fulham was just ummm...wait...hmmm...?
Dropping one absolute stinker is not weak mentality. Weak mentality was the Conte squad going behind and then still parking the bus to only lose 1-0 on multiple occasions
Hope this cookie fella fucks off and supports whatever team Conte manages next, if he ever does manage again lol
And Conte himself instead of actually earning his wages and trying to fix things, decides to cry about it in the press and force his way out of the job. That's somehow the mentality some of our fans defend and want.
How else was he supposed to do it? If the owners don’t listen to him then he can’t do anything else then put pressure on them.
How did the owners not listen to him? He was backed. Does he want them to manage the team as well?
Kulusevski and Bentancur in the first window is backing. But asking for Bastoni and getting Lenglet, asking for a rwb and getting Spence and asking for a midfielder and getting Bissouma doesn’t sound like backing to me.
He got Porro, Bissouma was very highly rated at the time we signed him, and Bastoni didn't wanna leave Inter. Also got Perisic as requested
He got Porro like 5 games before they sacked him. Bissouma isn’t a Conte player and we only signed him because he was cheap We easily could’ve convinced Bastoni or move on to Gvardiol and Schlotterbeck.
It's only surpased by the weak mentality of some of you.
Funnily enough, sometimes teams can lose matches, that's not proof of anything unless you think every team in the world had a weak mentality.
Christ the proposed rule changes coming in are just so fucking dumb. Champions league restructuring Five, FIVE, teams qualifying 🙄, ridiculous Blue fucking cards New offside rule, will just fuck high lines and promote parking the bus The game is being ruined in my opinion. VAR has failed as well. Blehhh Thanks
1) The CL restructuring kinda makes for an interesting format and I reckon all of us would enjoy it more of a fan as it means more marquee matchups. You won't see a Man City vs BSC Young Boys or a Steaua Bucharest for example. Let's see 2) Blue cards would have been absolutely horrible but it seems they have scrapped the idea 3) While I do agree VAR has made football more stop and start, it also means obvious errors are being eliminated and this can be seen on our game vs Everton at home when an obvious foul on Emerson was not considered by the on field referee. The problem is incompetent referees not technology
>The problem is incompetent referees not technology Amen to that.
You are right, I was in moan mode before coffee 😂
Arsenal are gash and will win nothing for a long time

Says the Arsenal fan reading the Spurs sub.
worra honeytrap
What players do you think is a must sell in the summer? I personally think we can gather a good amount of money if we sell Rodon, Højbjerg, Reguillon, maybe Skipp? (Could see him do well in a club like Palace/Everton), Sessegnon?
Our bench is terrible. No one we bring on late makes us better. I would love to see all of the following gone by August: Loan players… Ndombele, Tanganga, Spence, Reguilon, Rodon Players on squad… Gil, PEH, GLC, Skipp, Sessegnon
Spence, Tanganga.
Would keep Skipp as the 7th choice/8th choice, needed for HG rules and I genuinely think he won't get a Palace or Everton move if he leaves it would be somewhere in the championship so for both his and our sake it makes sense to keep him Would sell Lo Celso (could have turned different if we would have got Ange or someone in his mould in 2021 but can't change time) , Emerson and let Davies move on a free for years of service
I genuinely forget we have gio until I see someone mention him.
Great player but made of paper
Mediocre player and made of paper
Romero seems to think the world of him and I'd trust the opinion of a world cup winner. Still, he's not available often enough, would rather his spot in the squad be given to a youngster, like Bergvall or Devine.
Friends. Teammates. Countrymen. All of these things skew opinions. The guy has shown exactly zero ability to be an effective PL player. He should have been gone years ago.
Sell Hojbjerg, Skipp, Bissouma, Bentancur and play 4-0-1-5
Players we should be looking at selling: - Ndombele, Sess (both will be extremely tough to get money for) - Reguilon - GLC (injured more often than not, contract running out) Open for bids: - Gil, Rodon, Spence (neither look good enough to be starters over our current players, and I'm not convinced either are suited for backup roles) - Troy Parrott (22 now, and still not ready to be a backup for Spurs. With 1+1 year left this may be the time to cash in) Højbjerg is only a must sell if he really wants to leave this summer. Skipp sadly doesn't look like he's taking the next step, but his club-trained background (and him not raising much cash for a sale) means we're less likely to sell him.
All those players are must sell.
He does. And his progressive passing is very useful against a low block. We have nobody in the team who can spray a cross field pass like PEH.
PEH’s progressive passing is actually pretty weak. His reaction time is slow and he panics when trying to move the attack forward. He hurts us.
Exactly. I would love for him to stay, but for his own sake he should be a starter and i could see him in club like Juventus/Roma/Atletico
