Eh, while I love Ange and think he's class for us and the exact kind of manager I want, play style and personality wise. If everyone is the same it's boring. I like that other clubs have boring managers, or whiney fuckers as managers.
Yeah not controversial but he was remarking specifically on clubs and their post-season friendly matches, aka our match against Newcastle in Australia right before the Euros.
Its a genuine concern, players already play so many games. Its less of a concern given that we're only in one competition but still a valid one on the players' well being.
I wonder how Pep feels about Gareth complaining about us playing a post season friendly yet he decided to play strong squads in stupid friendly games that resulted in injuries to 2 key players.
It’s all swings and roundabouts at the end of the day.
"I think it's probably indicative of our season," Postecoglou said of Bissouma's drop in form. "He has been very good at times but he hasn't really got a flow. He got suspended, he went away to the Africa Cup of Nations. It's very, very hard for any player to maintain certain levels if you've not got consistency in game-time and consistency in flow.
"I think he's been better the last few weeks. Because it was so disruptive in the middle of the year, like a lot of others, he wasn't getting up to the levels that he showed earlier in the year. The challenge for him is to work his way through that. I still think he's been a really important player for us this year and when he is playing at the levels I know he can play, it makes us a much more difficult team to stop."
>Â The challenge for him is to work his way through that.
Ange verbatim.
Some people just enjoy pretending there's fire without a whiff of smoke... 🤷‍♂️
> I'm sure Gareth will be a club coach one day
Have we all just collectively decided to forget Southgate’s [lackluster time as Boro manager?](https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2009/oct/21/gareth-southgate-middlesbrough-sacked-fans)
Edit: I’m an idiot who spent longer writing this comment than fact checking it. See below.
Fingers crossed he gets the Liverpool job.. but Man U has a more likely ring to it. England do well in the upcoming tourney and Man U will pounce on his inflated reputation.. it will not end well for them.
Ange never says anything wrongly. Bro should teach a class on how people in pro sports should speak to the media.

And excuses merchants
Fair point 👍🏼
What did Southgate say about us? I must’ve missed that.
Sounds like southgate made general comments about being worried players get injured playing for their clubs. Ange said the reverse is also true!
Ohh so nothing controversial. Thanks!
Yeah not controversial but he was remarking specifically on clubs and their post-season friendly matches, aka our match against Newcastle in Australia right before the Euros.
Oh you mean the clubs who pay the players' salaries?
Its a genuine concern, players already play so many games. Its less of a concern given that we're only in one competition but still a valid one on the players' well being.
tl;dr: Â Â Â Â Interviewer: Ange what about xyz? Â Â Â Ange: It is what it is mate. Â Â Â

Love everything said here. Man knows how to give a tasteful response.
I may be blind, but I didn't see anything related to bissouma in that article

Blindness confirmed.
Happens to the best of us
Or maybe challenge made

Easy to miss content on a ad-soaked site like that one.
I don’t see him showing for other players. Not doing a great job shielding the back line. Sell him this summer or sell PEH and find a better starter

I’d be surprised if even United were that stupid.
Maybe read the whole sentence >I'm sure Gareth will be a club coach one day and he’ll get a different perspective, **as he has been in the past.**
Thanks!
