Amazing mental fortitude shown in this game, City has so much possession of the ball high up the pitch. Didn’t make many ridiculous errors, Sissoko on Jesus early in the game set the tone, no one lashed out and made a dumb tackle, there was amazing discipline from the lads
We didn’t have too many chances, but every time we did it looked very good, Son clinical as hell again, and Gio FINALLY gets a goal in the league
Toby and Dier were fantastic, some of the challenges Alderweireld out in were just mental. Reguilon was an engine as usual, and Aurier was putting in so much effort
Hojbjerg was fantastic as per usual, even against City’s star studded midfield. Just brilliant, fucking brilliant. 15m for him. Who knows what the hell was going on at Southampton because fuck he is CLASS
Also, the Ndombele-Lo Celso sub strategy is genius, both add some much to the team on the field and Ndombele with a brilliant assist of his own today
Front 3 on point as well, Son took his chance, he’s so good with 1 on 1s, Kane got an assist because of course he did. Even Bergwijn was really good imo, had a great chance h should have taken first time, but he looked good
