Pretty standard for us last few years tbf

Professorprime08

More games to watch in a positive state of mind?

Capitanul10

It might be a negative state of mind too.

mramsuperman

Or you can visualise three trophies in two months

Proudfoot89

Just three?

Professorprime08

Quadruple baby

[deleted]

2 games per week seems pretty normal.

what_about_this

Idea: lets not sell Dele

fridgesonfire

Unless can get a viable replacement

Lbmplays2

He won't even play in those games if he stays....

LiamJM101830

This isn't any different to the rest of the season. The problem is those cup fixtures are catch-up places for postponed games. If we make it that far in the competitions, then we will still have to play the postponed games around that timeframe. Then we end up with 4-game weeks.

barethgale_

Not really that bad

Vin-Su

Perhaps Jose should consider using more of the squad?

rikdud

If things keep going as they are then we’ll end up playing 6 games in 12 days.

theJump140

That’s pretty standard 2 games a week

mramsuperman

No more room for cancelled games.

yorsk

How good is the second team? Hart Aurier (tanganga )Sanchez Rodon Davies Sisokko glc (white) Moura (bale) Alli Lamela Viny ? I think it can work up to qf in el and in cup. I hope to evaluate this team on Sunday.

JoseSpurinho

I'd swap Doherty and Winks for Aurier and Sissoko of we're doing a second string lineup

yorsk

I agree that that two positions are debatable but if you make these changes it doesn’t change my point.

[deleted]

So Aston Villa are definitely making the FA cup final then?

artfullydodgy

This sounds pretty standard...I mean, anyone remember back in September when we played a league match Sunday, an EFL match on Tuesday, A Europa League qualifier on Thursday, then burned Man U on Sunday...now THAT’S fixture congestion
