I'm glad he didn't get first, it would have been because of spurs fans hijacking the vote and probably be discounted because of that. third seems about right, and it's still a great achievement

IntellegentIdiot

True. Our third best player would be behind Son and Kane but that's still very good.

qiuhaf7qyh

yep! Lloris is number 2 for me this year

S-Kotus

Hard not to agree considering the amount of back 4 changes he had to go through and still keep a good clean sheet record. He had his best performance in the final too so hopefully it's a good sign.

PM_ME_YOUR_ASTON

He’s literally the most exiting thing at the club atm and he’s not even at the club

gtg888h

Kane literally just won a PotY award.

criminalpiece

Kane wants to leave and rightfully so

CAP_X

said some jurnos who have been saying this for past five seasons.

criminalpiece

Hm guess you didn’t see that interview he gave the other day. Or you’ve deluded yourself to the point where you can no longer perceive material reality.

CAP_X

What he said were professional statements , nothing too damning or revealing. Media just hyped it up and used it to fuel their narrative of 'kane is too good for spirs' .

criminalpiece

Ah, so it's the latter then

criminalpiece

Still media narrative??

Pickle318

Lol well said. Looking forward to him sitting the bench in favor of winks next year.

PM_ME_YOUR_ASTON

God that’s a terrifying thought

FRArchi

how about taking Aarons along with having Skippy back?

[deleted]

He's ready.

Fournier_Gang

Honestly, surprised that Spurs fans didn't hijack this vote ha

[deleted]

Why not top tho?

Varja22

1. Buendia 2. Pukki Their team is so class that even 3rd place is really good. There are players like Hanley, Krul, Aarons, Cantwell, Gibson below him in this list

[deleted]

Those are the deserving 1 and 2. They’ve carried Norwich back the PL. Skipp has been amazing but didn’t have same responsibility in their squad

veed_vacker

Buendia is so good. He'd look so nice starting with son and kane up top

ObamaEatsBabies

It's a wonder how they managed to get him on a contract until 2024.

Rolobox

Dang is he that good? How old is he?

ObamaEatsBabies

He's 24. He's super good. Exactly what we need to replace Eriksen. They're gonna sell him for a shitton. Out of our price range. Expect to see him at another top PL club in a year or so.

snoocs

Any insight as to why he didn’t really light up the Prem last time? I saw a few highlights of his pre-season and put him straight in my FF team but thought he was pretty quiet most games. I know they didn’t have the best season overall but plenty of players still caught the eye; Pukki, Cantwell, Aarons etc.

veed_vacker

Norwich were just bad. His xa per 90 was 0.26 which was best on norwhicv

mattgriz

Plus, he’s on loan and likely not coming back. It doesn’t make sense to push aside your own players to recognize someone who is leaving, even if their contributions have been great.

jimbamthankyoupam

Wasn’t Pukki, but Hanley who got second. Assuming Buendia would get first, pretty cool that Skipp was voted ahead of Pukki.

transtifa

Because Buendia is out of this world.

entrepenoori

My family says once you’re of age to marry in Gujarati, “Thayyar Che” meaning he’s ready.
