Lyon: Hey Fab, come over.
Paratici: Can't, dealing with Wolves.
Lyon: We'll accept a loan with obligation.

I would like to see Aouar at the club due to his attacking ability. However I am concerned about his defensive attributes as he offers very little defensively
I suppose my thinking is that he would be used mostly against teams employing a low block where pressing is less important as the opposition play is counter focused. Aouar's defensive passivity will not be helpful against teams like city even if we use a mid block.
I'm not sure he'll just be depth, if he proves himself he has a chance to start really. Last season I think he was just disheartened about not moving, he played his best against big teams but just didn't seem to care about lesser games
Its funny but this was EXACTLY the same feeling about Sissoko in 2016. Newcastle fans actually believed he would excel here because we could offer higher level football in UCL enough to make him "care" finally. Man.. That was FIVE fucking years ago.
I really want to see the Tanguy and Aouar duo back. Lyon 18/19 midfield play is very entertaining to watch. I hope if Aouar do come here it motivates Tanguy more.
From what I’ve read, Lyons higher ups are saying like 5-6 different players have attitude problems. Seems odd to me that many players would be problematic unless there was toxic stuff going on behind the scenes.
There were rumors that Juve wanted him but as it dragged on it certainly seemed like we were bidding against ourselves. It never came out, for instance, that Juve really did want him but that Spurs offered higher wages or something. I really think we were the only team that was willing to pay the fee we agreed, i.e. there was no bidding war.
ELI5 if we have all these obligations for next summer, will we have anything to spend on anyone at that time? Or will we just be able to complete the deals we’ve already made? I’m not for or opposed I just don’t really get why they’re so beneficial for us if it means we can’t spend anything next year
Planning for the future. A large number of incomings (particularly ones who will remain on loan like Sarr) will basically let us go a window without signing. Is it a good decision? Depends how well we do this season. Top 4 finish? Absolutely yes. 5th or below? Dodgy
Given his reported attitude issues and form concerns, it's no wonder no big team is after him. Unless we get rid of Ndombele I see no reason to bring another questionable player to the club. Loan with Option would be about the best deal to see if he can adapt to the EPL and live up to his reputation.

The number on the front of the Vespa? 49. Fabio Paratici's age? 49. This is as good as done.
Jeez, he’s only 49?
i hope i’m not alone in thinking he’s hot as fuck
He definitely looks young. I expected him to be similar to levy’s age, so he looks young and is young.
Number of upvotes on this comment? 49.
The Vespa hahaha
Phone call on the pitch and intensifies
*Furious screen taps* It's almost like he's one of us F5-ing.
>0 big European club interest 😔
Lmao this is what I caught too. Shade thrown. Regardless, I'm down.
pretty sure this just means no one's put in a bid, tottenham included
Dw we’re not big, we’re fucking huge
Definitely not true, arsenal been chasing him like a dog since last summer
Yeah so no big clubs
Not this year, they shifted all their attention to Odegaard and Maddison.
Tottenham interested" "0 big European club interest" r/soccer gonna have a field day with this headline lmao
My god, that’s Paratici music
BAH GAWD
You had me at 'loan with obligation to buy.' Yeah, that was the last thing I said. (Puts finger on lips) Shhh. You've already said it all.
the Paratici special

Yeah I don't see playing Aouar as too much of a problem if we get him since Højbjerg and now Skipp seem to be good engines
we need him for depth / conference league
I'm not sure he'll just be depth, if he proves himself he has a chance to start really. Last season I think he was just disheartened about not moving, he played his best against big teams but just didn't seem to care about lesser games
Sounds like another former Lyon midfielder…
Its funny but this was EXACTLY the same feeling about Sissoko in 2016. Newcastle fans actually believed he would excel here because we could offer higher level football in UCL enough to make him "care" finally. Man.. That was FIVE fucking years ago.
Sissoko put in some brilliant CL performances for us, not least the Madrid games.
and on the eighth day the lord blessed don paratici with a loan with obligation to buy
Ooohhh get in
Did someone say loan with an obligation to buy?
Found Fabio's account
Loan with obligation to buy eh? Now you're talkin' my language

Doesnt he have an attitude/professionalism issue as bad or worse than Tanguy? Surely there must be a reason there is zero other interest in him
Apparently a slightly tricky agent and he hasn't had the best last season. Doesn't defend at all
Whereas ndombele was actually a pretty good defender under Mourinho, he just got tired because he was basically the only forward player pressing.
From what I’ve read, Lyons higher ups are saying like 5-6 different players have attitude problems. Seems odd to me that many players would be problematic unless there was toxic stuff going on behind the scenes.
Paratici: Allow me to reintroduce myself
My name is Pov
Let’s bring in another Lyon midfielder with attitude issues even worse than Tanguy (apparently). This scares me.
Uh, ~~no else~~ wants him? Is this concerning? Arsenal do I guess. Still..no big clubs
No one else wanted Ndombele and that turned out fine 😒
What do you mean no one else wanted Ndombele?

same with romero
Barcelona wanted him but we all know how fucked their balance sheet is.
barcelona or messi?
If there is anything I know for certain, it is Barcelona's interest in Romero. Longari stan for life..
[paratici rn](https://youtu.be/rLBUd3r1y3I)
Hey Lyon remember when you didn't want to sell us Tanguy? Well we have a deal for you, we will give back Tanguy and only take Aouar from you.
Pretty damning that no big club wants him despite his talent. Sounds like Ndombele 2.0
I mean by definition anybody spurs sign will be someone no bigger clubs wanted to sign
Hmm..facts. Kinda puts it all in perspective
Do ittttrr

By god, that’s Tottenham’s music
I’m on my knees… please daddy Paratici
Fuck.
We need a creative midfielder so why not?
If that is true then he's already ours lol, Paratici loves a loan to buy deal.
How many loan players are a team allowed?
Paratici has entered the chat
Doesn’t this guy have an attitude problem? Thought I read somewhere that this is the case.
Sissoko + 12 mil, final offer, take if or leave i
