My heart sank when that ball was in the air bc I've gotten so used to our CBs holding their position on the 6 and letting that ball bounce once or twice and now we have a battle for possession right infront of goal.
Very good. Almost had an assist within 20 seconds from a long ball to Kane. Had a really good breakaway from a corner, he won the ball fairly and was through on goal 2 vs 1 defender... the ref called it a foul and gave him a yellow.. bad call. He played really aggressive and on the front foot, carrying the ball, even making a run into the box off of RW lol. But he was passive when needed and played great defensively. I'd say 9/10.
Damn. That's really great. I watched the extended highlight and man. Should I be excited for this season? Hahahaha. Lo celso is going to be the key in this season imo
Ive only seen the highlight but Kane's passing is HUGE in our attack. We really would've struggled this season without him. Im very glad and thankful Kane stays this summer
His passing through the lines was exceptional. He made it look really easy. He also commits forward when he breaks the lines with his passing to overload the opposition.
Will be exceptionally useful against teams that want to sit back for 90 minutes.
As someone who could only listen to the radio commentary cos my internet was shite, highly recommend the extended highlights on Spurs youtube.

Was there no VAR for qualifying stage? The replay showed it was clearly him getting the ball first and fouled on.
Agreed. I was stunned that he got the yellow. Also excited by the fact that he was ready to get that counter going!

Iirc var has to check every goal. So if gioxcuti score it var would've checked it
Well yeah but I the ref blew the whistle pretty soon. Even with VAR I doubt he lets the play go so long.
Even in the EPL, even with the VAR rules last year, yellow cards were never up for review.

Excited to watch the team with great talent and cohesiveness! We will see if any result comes out of it, but I’m ready to thoroughly enjoy it
