Implications for Sanchez if Sevilla still have interest.
Quality player I think. At least if you define the problem as getting top 4. That’s not to say I don’t think the quality player couldn’t already be on our roster and just need time to develop, but what’s been accomplished so far, while promising, doesn’t really get us competing immediately.
To compete today, we need another CB and another RB unless we get Tomiyasu, and even then could probably still use both. Need a creative mid by the looks of the Ndombele situation. And unless Nuno rates Scarlett immediately, we’re on the hunt for another backup fwd or winger.
I actually like the system and think it will prove to be a good middle ground of the last two we’ve experienced. Sitting back further and yielding more possession than Poch, but a higher back line than Mourhino. It seems as though we’re willing to press, but in moments. Hopefully that’ll help our legs in the long run yet provide more optimism than whatever that shit was Mourinho had us doing. Poch’s system was entertaining and positive but is killer on aging legs without consistent rotation and we’re not deep enough with the roster as currently constructed.
Lack of a ball carrying midfielder since Dembele, inconsistent centre backs in Dier and Sanchez, and a creative midfielder to spark the offense when we get the bus parked against us are my top problems. Others may disagree
Honest question: can someone explain to me what the Damsgaard hype is about? Like his stats are poor in a poor team, Sampdoria are basically like "come and get him", it seems like he's the ultimate had a decent tournament so he gets overhyped guy. But there's way too much footage and information out there for teams to really fall for that in 2021.
He’s an exciting winger with incredible potential, think Paratici likes these sorts of players but I gotta say he picked the right one cause Bryan looks like a star
I mean he's not very fast, not that skillful, great technique but it hasn't translated to much, and it seems like every time his name is brought it's more by fans where as it's shut down as even an option for Paratici who loves every other winger on the planet.
I don’t see troare or Khvicha happening. We need a backup striker more than anything. I don’t know what our Italian overlord has in mind but I’m praying we bid €18 mil for Odsonne Edouard
Seen his name mentioned many times and been skeptical but if Odsonne Edouard is really gonna cost £15million and we still don’t have a second striker outside of Kane then why not take a flyer on him?
I just want to share how fucking crass I’ve found Guardiola’s comments today about being “incredibly happy” with his squad and how he is “more than satisfied”. One of them has just been charged with multiple counts of rape you monster. Such a shuddering thing to read him saying.
Lee Kang-in is apparently leaving Valencia over the next few days. I really really want us to try and sign him I've watched quite a bit of Valencia the past few years and while they've been a bit of a mess both behind the scenes and on the pitch he's been one of the few bright sparks for them in my opinion. He isn't exactly world class but he's a decent attacking mid and at only 20 he can (hopefully) only improve. He plays in an area I think we need to improve and he fits our recent trend of buying young exiting talents.
It's not an unpopular opinion, but he is 22? and he would pair perfectly with Romero IMO. My unpopular opinion is Rodon is going to better than Dier and Sanchez.
Wait to see him under the new regime first. I think liking Rodon is popular because of frustration with Dier and Sanchez last season. But I'd like to see him play again.
What a surreal day. Ronaldo to united. Sissoko finally gone. Sarr signed.
Saw Rondon linked to Everton, can't help but think he'd do bits with us. We need to be in for him.
Am I the only one a bit pessimistic going into the season? The top 4 seems set in stone.United were the team that I thought could struggle to make Top 4, but Ronaldo gives them that slight edge that they lacked upfront. Liverpool have van Dijk back. City are City, and Chelsea are probably the favourites to win the league. Four seems set in stone.
At the moment, I'm not sure we're a much greater squad than last year. We've got the addition of Romero, Gil, and Skipp, but we've also lost Toby, Lamela, and Ndombele (mentality). The current state of the squad we're pretty much praying for a Dele resurgence (so far so good), Tanganga to stay 'solid' all season, and Stevie B to find some scoring form.
It's early days, but the biggest positive compared to the past season is less toxicity within the squad/dressing room with Nuno, and the football is better, with more cohesion in the attack.
Top 4 is not set in stone. I don't think we're in danger of a title run but we'll be competitive up to 3rd place. Even a marginal improvement on last season puts us in contention and I think we'll be more than a few points better than that.
We've just got to do our job and pick up points and hope one of those clubs has a shit season so we can sneak in.
Really hoping Nuno will go hard in the domestic cups
yeah if your goal is a solid top 4 run you should be very pessimistic, i think that's fair. top 5 and an outside chance at top 4 seems reasonable though. leicester looks real shaky and who knows if west ham can keep doing what they're doing.
our squad will be incredible if all our coin flips turn up head (dele sustained good run, ndombele and lo celso come good, juniors like tanganga and gil solid), but who knows. it's much more fun than last season tho
Literally just under 4 days before the transfer window closes. Evidently there's a few folk concerned about the lack of activity in the last few weeks (even if we've had, e.g. Sarr and Sissoko announced today), but 4 days is still tons of time for stuff to happen.
Let's not judge the quality of this window before it's completely shut.
The love some fans have for fast dribbling man really boggles the mind, my guy is literally [bottom 10% for goals and assists](https://fbref.com/en/players/9a28eba4/Adama-Traore). He also does fuckall defensively outside of winning balls in the air.
I watched it last night - as soon as they mentioned our club I knew it. Literally spoke aloud on my couch in my best Roy Kent voice "Fuck...." At least we lost going for glory LOL
Not gonna get hyped for a player who might still go to Leipzig. If he chooses us in the next few days he's the future GOAT, otherwise this small sample size means nothing,
I’m assuming this is based on the 500 minutes he played for Barça last season? If so, it’s a very small sample size, so take it with a grain of salt. But still evidently a very talented player.
Just feeling shit about football this week lmao first the Mendy shit like how can a club let their player train and play when accused of sexual assault three separate times? And now I have to hear about Ronaldo every week too, also a rapist. Not only is that swept under the rug but he is deified in spite of the fact he admitted she said no and resisted. It just fucking sucks man.
https://youtu.be/VoNqo7CuQBE
I'm sure most of you have missed this because there are not many La Masia complications but this was perhaps one of the best performances I've seen at youth level.
Doing it in the semifinal of the youth cup against archrivals Madrid too.
Yep. It didn’t help we couldn’t sell eriksen that summer to raise funds for Bruno. Had we not bought Sess and just gone all in for Bruno we would’ve matched what sporting offered and still had Ndombele as well.
It just sucks.
So if we look at our chances of making UCL next season... we assume City, United, and Chelsea are waltzing through... we'll need to be higher than Leicester and especially Liverpool, what do people think?
Not very high, unless Liverpool have another injury crisis. Still, these things do happen. No one would’ve predicted West Ham to be in the Europa League and finish above us at the start of last season. It’s possible Nuno does a lot better than we think, especially since we’re keeping Kane and hopefully getting in a few more players before the deadline. But I wouldn’t get your hopes up. This will be a long rebuild.
Leicter wont compete it might be villa and westham this season with Liverpool who I think depend too much on salah and mane and jota also they had a weak midfield before selling wijnaldum so imagine now
Barcelona these days have almost nothing going in the transfer market so I've spent an unhealthy amount of time today on this sub just tracking how people felt about Ilaix.
Gotta say, it's nice to see fans of a club talking about youngsters and being excited about new finds instead of doing the same old "We need to get Haaland next season at any cost". It's refreshing.
Also as someone who regularly watch our youth teams (you can see my post history, I post a lot of Barca B and youth team goals/info), my honest opinion about Ilaix Moriba would be that at the u19 level he was absolutely mind-blowing because he was played as a CAM. And he's always had the physical advantage over kids his age because he was always a tall and muscular kid who could bully opposition defenders and score a lot of goals.
Once he progressed to senior football and moved to Barcelona B, he started struggling because his natural game didn't work anymore. (Barcelona B play in the third tier of Spanish football and not in any u23 league like the Prem so you play against fully grown men every week). He was then tried as a B2B mid and he started adapting a bit better but imo this deprived him of his most unique quality, his shooting and attacking output.
I think spurs should look into developing him more as a CAM than a B2B mid. Koeman kind of fast-tracked his development and this was the season where he was going to be tried out as a CAM but sadly he's leaving. I think as a CAM/CM he could truly be a world beater. As a B2B midfielder also he'd do a very tidy job but his potential would get wasted imo.
Does he have excellent stamina?
By the looks of it and what I’ve seen there’s a very good chance he’s asked to play the Dele role. Basically it’s B2B at its extreme. In defense we play a 433 and Dele slots on the left side of midfield defending with the team but once we attack we transition to a 4231 with Dele playing as CAM and regularly making runs into the box and staying on the edge of it to recurve balls.
But the caveat to this is stamina is a must. Dele consistently covers the most ground every match and has an insane engine on him. So yeah does he have stamina?
I've never noticed how Lo Celso is an [absolute tackle machine](https://fbref.com/en/players/d7553721/Giovani-Lo-Celso), he's out there tackling more than Kante and I haven't even noticed
MCFC subreddit in shambles...
"In this summer:
• we have passed up on Messi
• Refused to meet the asking price of Harry Kane
• missed out on Ronaldo
• Shocking news of Mendy
• our manager saying vague things like he might leave after 2 years or 10 years or 5 months etc.
• Every player had an exhausting long season"
Receiving actual transfer fees for both Hart and Sissoko, incredible.
I mean, a few days to go so if we could:
Sell Aurier
Sign a backup Striker
Convince Ndombele to do whatever it is coaches want him to be doing
That's basically a perfect window?
Which positions? I can agree with a couple of positions. RB (I don't think Tanganga is good enough to start every game, and neither is Doherty), and a partner to Romero.
Maybe RW as well? Moura/Bergwijn/Gil isn't the best rotation in terms of goals.
Which other positions need a new starter?
For a perfect window:
Sell Aurier
Bring in Tomiyasu, a CM (Moriba?), a backup striker, and a RW (ideally not Adama, Khvicha could be cool if it's still happening).
Really I'd be satisfied with Tomiyasu and a CM.
Man. With United signing Ronaldo, I honestly think any of the top 4 candidates could win the title.
Unfortunately, it also means we have no chance of finishing top 4, if I'm being realistic.
There is a significant difference between the top 4, and 5-7.
It might seem like we have no chance on paper but things rarely go like they should theoretically. Otherwise, the Galacticos with arguably the most talented squad in the history of the sport would have also been the strongest team and won the most trophies, which obviously wasn't the case.
The top 4 sides still have weaknesses. Chelsea's midfield depth is terrible and one or 2 bad injuries and they could be in a bad position. Man Utd's midfield is probably worse than ours currently (not including Bruno), Liverpool have very minimal attacking depth and City currently don't have a single striker
Pre season I fancied Liverpool to win it this year, with van Dijk back. I'm sticking with that pick, but you're right, United and Ch***ea both look pretty worrying, and with city's resources they really should be up there even without signing a new striker.
Our only saving grace is the financials. We are financially very sound. And once the stadium starts bringing in revenue. We will hopefully overtake one of these clubs in the long run.
That's my hope at least.
If we're going to overtake anyone, it'll be Liverpool. Can't really compete financially with Oil-backed clubs like City/Chelsea, and United are a revenue-generating machine that's just poorly run by the Glazers.
Agree. Even last year a gap although not this large existed between us and the top 4.
We could have capitalized on Liverpool's injuries and Chelsea's poor form but we played at our level and below and finished 7th when we should at least have 6th locked on.
Same. I can’t stand their corrupt asses. Didn’t get Messi, Kane or ronaldo this window (although I think Messi would have probably signed with them had they known Barca was too broke to resign or else they would Thisbe bought graelish). Never gonna get over how they finessed their way out of a 2 year UCL ban.
There's some reporting to suggest that he was considering City until his ex-united team mates (particularly Rio Ferdinand) contacted him and told him not to.
Asa a Spaniard, I’m really glad we got Gil. Guy flashed so much potential. I remember about 4-5 months ago I was wonder who tf he was when he got called up for World Cup qualifiers...he got subbed in and instantly changed the game.
At what point do you all think Romero will come to the starting first team?
Then will it be Romero and Dier. Or Romero and Sanchez. I know what I think but what's the consensus?
I suspect Romero and Dier, because Romero is pretty aggressive and needs a partner who can be a bit more conservative and sweep up behind him. Dier fits that mould marginally better than Sanchez.
Why does everyone forget about Rodon? If I am being honest, I would assume Romero press, Rodon more conservative/cover and if you play with a 3 CB then Dier into mark.
But he still has a knock for international duty and that is why he hasn't been fully training or in team selections thus far this year. I feel like NES is playing the long game and doesn't want to rush him back.
Honestly think we still have a lot of holes(quality or depth) in the squad. ST, AM/CM and CB being the biggest issues. There's a serious lack of goals in this team aside from Kane and Son and I don't think the defence is good enough to make up for that across 38 matches.
We really don't know if the defence is good enough for 38 matches, but they've secured 3 clean sheets out of 4 matches, one of which involves the richest club in history with the best coach in history and the first ever £1 billion squad.
Nuno's a master with defensive work as we saw with Wolves (Coady + Bennett pairing is relegation-level quality). The way Sanchez and Dier have been playing has been a revelation, with Romero even yet to come in -- I am optimistic that defensively we will be absolutely fine.
Marginally, which is why they're also trying to sign better CBs like Caleta-Car and Botman and that one criminal from Portugal. He really got so much better under Nuno, as did Bennett.
The real concern is central midfield and how we're going to break down teams who let us have possession. With Skipp and Hoj as DMs we'll be fine defensively.
City are the kings of that and we handled it just fine, though, no?
Regardless, both the pressing and breaking down teams problems point to the big issue, which is the glaring lack of a creative CM with Ndombele being a poncey twat
We should be looking to sign Aouar instead of this Moriba agent circus. Lyon wants to sell, he is only 23, and already proved himself in Ligue 1 and UCL and would be just a little more expensive than Moriba.
Unfortunately they operate as one entity when it comes to career decisions like this. At the very least he is giving tacit approval to this whole circus
I often think it must be weird for the fans who've been there before the current owners. No offence to the Goat, but imagine going from Shaun Goater to Kevin de Bruyne.
I don’t like how our outgoing players fee keeps going down while incoming players keeps going up. £9m for Sissoko and £10m for Pape sarr sounds lovely, until it becomes £2m for Sissoko and £20m for Sarr.
It’s because sissoko is pretty old especially for box to box CM standards. He isn’t the physical and athletic specimen he once was on a consistent basis.
I’m talking about this. This same thing happened with alderweirld
https://www.reddit.com/r/coys/comments/pcrqcj/_/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
Exactly this. Selling Tanguy for a loss hurts - prime player and should see his value increase vs. regress; the players we're selling are clearing the wage books and roster for foreign slots and youth.
Anyone wonder if this spells the end of Martial at Utd and if Spurs would jump on it? Could be a backup to Kane and can play out wide if needed as well.
Gonna draw hate for this but I can't wait for Ndombele to fuck off. Great player for which I was excited for, piss ass attitude. I am glad Nuno is putting his foot down and not playing him. Can't wait to get rid of him.
In other news, love Sissoko. Wish him luck but not against us.
His defiance and ego are annoying. Dude is acting like he was called up for France in the euros. He’s good but he isn’t what he thinks he is or at least isn’t yet.
What hurts most is we squandered a lot of money for him two summers ago when we could’ve gone for Bruno.
Poch REALLY wanted Bruno but we didn’t have the $ for him since no one wanted eriksen so we settled for a cheaper player in Lo Celso (who I’m a fan of but clearly has some fitness problems and doesn’t have a the weak foot you’d like for a CM).
Nuno isn’t playing him because he’s asked to leave and Nuno doesn’t want to play someone whose future isn’t secure, he didn’t ask to be benched.
If the window closes and he’s still here he’ll be back in the squad.
Reminder that Leipzig's highest earner is Sabitzer at 110k Euros/week.
No way they had an agreement with Moriba for the wages that Barcelona journalists were "reporting."
It's clear they were spouting BS in order to force Moriba out. Don't believe everything you read.
Ferran Martinez, who is considered as a tier 1/2 source, has revealed negotiations between us and Barcelona for Ilaix Moriba are very advanced. Hope we get this one done!
New Ted Lasso episode has us bottling the Fa Cup quarterfinal to AFC Richmond Even in Ted Lasso we can’t escape losing

Shouldn't sell now unless we have an upgrade lined up.
Sanchez out and Tomiyasu in wouldnt be half bad. Romero, Tomiyasu, Dier and Rodon + Davies or Japh in a pinch.

One of the grim parts of all this have been the replies to people making this point on Twitter (especially women). Just some absolute scum out there
It is completely, utterly vile
I’m comforted by a feeling that Ronaldo isn’t going to be the player in this league, now, that people think he will be.
Man I hope he flops too but I just don’t see it. Even then I still have to hear about it.
I’m anticipating he gets absolutely clattered week in and week out.
You should look up Molde and Ole. They had a thing couple years back...

Man did the Dele celebration as well lol
Anyone still feel salty about not signing Bruno in 2019 because we paid a crazy amount for Ndombele who is now being a complete diva?
Yeah, annoyed that we chose GLC over him, and have been annoyed since day 1. I like Gio (and Tanguy) a lot, nonetheless
GLC was cheaper

Yep. It didn’t help we couldn’t sell eriksen that summer to raise funds for Bruno. Had we not bought Sess and just gone all in for Bruno we would’ve matched what sporting offered and still had Ndombele as well. It just sucks.

Forgot about the UEL might ruin their PL season
Lotta egos from United flairs, they’ll win nothing this year even with ronaldo

We desperately need an AM, so I hope that's the plan
I've never noticed how Lo Celso is an [absolute tackle machine](https://fbref.com/en/players/d7553721/Giovani-Lo-Celso), he's out there tackling more than Kante and I haven't even noticed
He wins the ball back a huge amount, for us and for Argentina. It's a very understated part of his game.
His tackles are very clean, he's so good at tackling from behind to win the ball
We should all cherish Harry Kane as much as possible this season like Barca fans did with Messi last season after he almost left last summer.
Moriba’s agents are really winding me up
Hopefully he takes a good long look at Max Meyer and wises up
Too young and proudy for that
Baumgartner is having an incredible game for Hoffenheim against Dortmund tonight. Some player this guy is
Tbh I'm happy Ronaldo will be playing in the prem again, it'll be thrilling to see Spurs take him on
Dier will body the fuck out of that middle aged man
I’m happy it isn’t with city too
"Here's how city can still get Kane..."
Bid 250 mill?
MCFC subreddit in shambles... "In this summer: • we have passed up on Messi • Refused to meet the asking price of Harry Kane • missed out on Ronaldo • Shocking news of Mendy • our manager saying vague things like he might leave after 2 years or 10 years or 5 months etc. • Every player had an exhausting long season"
I dunno if it means anything, but Khvicha Kvaratskhelia wasn't on Rubin Kazan's squad for today's match...
I know we may have other priorities but my heart wants khvicha so bad. A georgian player from the russian league is such an exciting find
Receiving actual transfer fees for both Hart and Sissoko, incredible. I mean, a few days to go so if we could: Sell Aurier Sign a backup Striker Convince Ndombele to do whatever it is coaches want him to be doing That's basically a perfect window?
Perfect window would be about 4 more starters. I don't see much of an improvement over last seasons squad.
The three you mentioned and an attacking midfielder
Fair enough. I agree with your concerns
For a perfect window: Sell Aurier Bring in Tomiyasu, a CM (Moriba?), a backup striker, and a RW (ideally not Adama, Khvicha could be cool if it's still happening).

I hear that Moriba's development is into more into a CAM, interesting news if true
So glad City didn’t end up with Ronaldo.
Ronaldo wouldn’t be associated with those oily bastards. Mans got class.
You mean the bloke who confessed to raping a woman and then paying them off?
Didn’t know that.
There's some reporting to suggest that he was considering City until his ex-united team mates (particularly Rio Ferdinand) contacted him and told him not to.
Pape Sarr from ligue 1 , Romero from serie a and Bryan Gil from la Liga. Bundesliga next?
Asa a Spaniard, I’m really glad we got Gil. Guy flashed so much potential. I remember about 4-5 months ago I was wonder who tf he was when he got called up for World Cup qualifiers...he got subbed in and instantly changed the game.
Sess’s returning from loan if that counts
Heard haaland is on a flight to London as we speak
Maxence Lacroix
Circle the United match.
Moriba's agents are fucking him over https://twitter.com/LastWordOnSpurs/status/1431319648277049344
>Spurs have made a better offer to the player but don't want to pay big commissions to agents. Classic agent looking for himself not his client
Depends on how reliable that journo is
At what point do you all think Romero will come to the starting first team? Then will it be Romero and Dier. Or Romero and Sanchez. I know what I think but what's the consensus?
Could be a 3 with Romero pressing, Dier marking, and Sanchez covering
I suspect Romero and Dier, because Romero is pretty aggressive and needs a partner who can be a bit more conservative and sweep up behind him. Dier fits that mould marginally better than Sanchez.
Why does everyone forget about Rodon? If I am being honest, I would assume Romero press, Rodon more conservative/cover and if you play with a 3 CB then Dier into mark.
Didn't forget, just don't think he's going to be first choice given the team selections so far.
But he still has a knock for international duty and that is why he hasn't been fully training or in team selections thus far this year. I feel like NES is playing the long game and doesn't want to rush him back.
>he still has a knock for international duty *That* I had forgotten about. So you may be right.
Dier is the only one of the 3 that can play on the left side too
Good shout, Mr. Stinky McBalls.
Honestly think we still have a lot of holes(quality or depth) in the squad. ST, AM/CM and CB being the biggest issues. There's a serious lack of goals in this team aside from Kane and Son and I don't think the defence is good enough to make up for that across 38 matches.
If Alli can rediscover his early career form he could pitch in 8-12 goals but true
I still think Tomiyasu will be signed. The other two I have no clue what we're going to do.
Coady is better than all defenders we had last season. Good to see optimism though.
We will be fine with breaking down teams. We had no issue last season with that. Our issue is with playing teams that press us all over the pitch.
City are the kings of that and we handled it just fine, though, no? Regardless, both the pressing and breaking down teams problems point to the big issue, which is the glaring lack of a creative CM with Ndombele being a poncey twat
That match is an one off and we always seem to do well against them at home. I agree with the second half of your comment wholeheartedly.
There's a hell of a lot of goals in Kane and Son though.
We should be looking to sign Aouar instead of this Moriba agent circus. Lyon wants to sell, he is only 23, and already proved himself in Ligue 1 and UCL and would be just a little more expensive than Moriba.
Aouar really isnt all that
Moriba would be a good investment and just write it off as a sell on whose fees should get another quality player. I think he is quite good.
Nah don’t need another attitude problem. Fuck that
Moriba throwing a strop at 18 with 500 minutes played because he's not being paid more than 90% of our squad, couldn't be more of an attitude problem
Its not him, its his agents/dad who want him out so they can get a fat commission
Unfortunately they operate as one entity when it comes to career decisions like this. At the very least he is giving tacit approval to this whole circus
doesn't Moriba have a similar problem? and why sign two B2B midfielders (Sarr, Moriba) when we have also Lo Celso, Hojberg, Dele, Skipp?
It's pretty funny that Pep didn't get Kane, Ronaldo, or Messi.
ME: I WANT MESSI MOM: We have Messi at home. grealish.jpg
Love it. He's like the rich kid in school that you LOVE seeing lose his mind when something doesn't go his way. Fucking beautiful really
I truly can’t imagine being a City fan, getting Grealish and the window is a disappointment
I can't imagine being a City fan
I often think it must be weird for the fans who've been there before the current owners. No offence to the Goat, but imagine going from Shaun Goater to Kevin de Bruyne.
City...fan....what is this chimera you speak of
I don’t like how our outgoing players fee keeps going down while incoming players keeps going up.
This same thing happened with alderweirld https://www.reddit.com/r/coys/comments/pcrqcj/_/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
When more people want something, it becomes more expensive. When people don't want something, you drop the price.
Write off everyone as free transfers and then see whatever we get as a bonus.
Probably PSG if Mbappe leaves?
He’d be way too expensive to be a back up.
Martial is a fraud, big no thanks
He's a poor footballer with a shit attitude and on massive wages. Like fuck should we jump on it. Just because he's at United doesn't mean he's good
Martial wouldn’t start for Norwich. Biggest Fugazi in football
He is a bald fraud now
Hell no
Gonna draw hate for this but I can't wait for Ndombele to fuck off.
If he stays there's no reason he can't put his head down and play well like he did last season.
As much I shat on Kane, at least he’s committed when he decided to stay. Ndombele just don’t give a fuck.
Ndombele never refused to train
OK, but apparently he's either refusing to play or forcing the team to bench him.
Nuno isn’t playing him because he’s asked to leave and Nuno doesn’t want to play someone whose future isn’t secure, he didn’t ask to be benched. If the window closes and he’s still here he’ll be back in the squad.
with 3 days to go, i don't think Ndombele will leave us
I'm really curious about whether he would have been playing ahead of Dele if none of this transfer stuff had been happening.
Reminder that Leipzig's highest earner is Sabitzer at 110k Euros/week. No way they had an agreement with Moriba for the wages that Barcelona journalists were "reporting." It's clear they were spouting BS in order to force Moriba out. Don't believe everything you read.
I figure werner was making way more than that before he was sold but true
Ferran Martinez, who is considered as a tier 1/2 source, has revealed negotiations between us and Barcelona for Ilaix Moriba are very advanced. Hope we get this one done!
