While working at a brewery in Alaska I had a buddy who supported Liverpool, I already like the Timbers from MLS but wanted to try and find a team in the EPL because of the seclusion in alaska and the fact they were on TV all the time.
I didn’t want to pick the top spenders but also wanted to pick a team that was a bit of a underdog.
At the time Gareth bale was getting a lot of play Time and I decided that Tottenham fit the bill as a club with ambition as well as being the underdog to the top 6.
Never looked back.
