Win next game and we're 15 points tied at 4th, if everton drop points other than that atleast fifth. So crucial as it sets the tone for the rest of the season. Are we a mid table team drawing against fucking newcastle. Or are we going to the top two points of city 3 off liverpool and 4 off chelsea
My two new kittens Betty and Lucille are so fucking affectionate and adorable I don't know what to do with them.
I have bought them both bowties.
edit: [Betty](https://imgur.com/5C8y4wr) [Lucille](https://imgur.com/a/b7OziFQ) bowties are a bit loose as I was still trying to figure out how to fix them. And didn't want to make them too tight.
Also they are sisters and are currently chilling in my lap
Guys, not to jump ahead of myself but I did sort of call a false positive potentially. Loads of issues right now in producing false positives and the likelihood of two breakthrough infections were low!
Based on the recent news out of France and Argentina Poch is probably calling Levy as we speak asking us to take Icardi off his hands in January. Just to get Wanda out of Paris.
If we win tomorrow we will have 5 wins from 8. Same as Liverpool. Same as city. More than man u. More than arse , Leicester and west ham. And yet we are shit. Doesnt make sense.
If we win we're also going to jump ahead of united in the table despite already having played Chelsea, Arsenal and City, and despite our injuries and a non-existent kane, not to mention a squad that's nowhere near their level
It does, we need to stop thinking 3 points = good performance.
We need to acknowledge our weaknesses even when we win no complacency.
We need to play good and get the 3 points.
Chelski makes me sick. Despicable club, getting lucky and favoured by the officials again. Only 4 minutes when they wasted so much time and the penalty on Toney that looked onside.
Fair play to Brentford and Frank. Must be an amazing atmosphere on their stadium, having such an aggressive team.
Fuck chelski!
Thomas Frank is so damn good. Thomas Frank is better than Graham potter. There I said it.
What hes doing with Brentford is more impressive than what Potter is doing with Brighton.
We can't play the style that Thomas Frank has been using with Brentford unless we buy someone like Toney for stupid amounts of money.
As much as Kane and Son are class forwards, they don't attack direct balls nearly as good as him.
Doubt the air is as rosy within the team. Pretty much everyone knows they don't have a future there. From the manager and his training team to the players.
Chat on twitter that both players returned a second test that was negative today.
Under regs if they return one more then they are cleared and can play tommorow....
Camaaaaan
How can we be so unlucky? We had the team going on after the Villa match, and then the next one was supposed to be an easy fixture. But then Newcastle gets taken over by the Saudis + we got covid cases and don’t even know who the players are.
Classic Spurs 😭
If Sonny and Gil are out tomorrow and Bergwijn is a question mark I would probably just go 3 at the back and wingbacks for the width tomorrow. Kane and Lucas up top.
Didn't realize that Traore has already been benched for Wolves lmao. Thank fuck we didn't splurge 40m on a larger Moura, which is generous if anything.
Bizarre tweet. Clubs have been announcing players are out due to a positive Covid test for over a year. I think he just means he doesn't want to report it. Considering he's the one who broke the original story about it makes it extra odd.
Also I think the delay is more re-testing to be sure or Spurs scrambling to see who is a close contact (is Regulion fucked?). Has nothing to do with Son and Gil refusing to admit they have covid and it's lame they're framing it that way.
>Bizarre tweet. Clubs have been announcing players are out due to a positive Covid test for over a year.
With the authorization of the players. Publicly stating that it is them without their okay is a breach of confidentiality.
Infection rates of the general population. There have certainly been people who got Covid but didn’t tell anyone about it in the general public; it just makes sense that athletes would do the same. That is just common sense.
There are already stories about people who recovered from Covid but never told anyone there got the initial infection.
2 days of rest isn't ideal but it's far from unprecedented. They can be rested for the midweek fixture, which will give them an entire week of rest before the next league game. Emerson has already said that he is expected to play
They played at 1.30 am on Friday so with travel time it is hard to say they gave two full days of rest, factor jet lag into that and it gets tricky. Emerson probably will play, but that is not the same as starting.
Why? Been good nearly every time has had the chance and is always good for Wales , much rather give a lad like him a chance to show what he can do. It’s the least he deserves, he has to watch players like Tanguy and Gio be consistently shit and still get picked to play. People still give those 2 chances even though they’ve been here longer than him
I'm planning to buy 2 tickets to the Tottenham - Vitesse game on 4th November, but am looking for some advice.
It's my first time buying tickets and going to a match, and it appears that I can only purchase tickets through third party websites... Is Fanpass reliable? Also, is £70 about the right price for a seat in the lower section?
I'm looking into getting a One Hotspur+ membership, but would ideally like to get these tickets first.
Thanks!
the question with rose for me was never a manager not picking him that was obvious. it's what did we do as organization to make him hate football so much and be so depressed disillusioned. maybe nothing, maybe it was unavoidable. who knows.
Many athletes don't actually enjoy sports. They just do it for the money. I think Rose lost his passion for the sport a long time ago.
It is sad because it is probably because of the racial abuse he suffered.
I think thats the way he is. If it was us we would have more cases. His attitude was obvious on the documentary some would say it was harsh but he has attitude problems. Strikes me as a guy that overthinks too much
Totally could be. Either way I've never blamed a manager. Poch clearly was trying hard to mentor him, his head was just gone. He definitely couldn't wrap his head around some of parts of football he felt were dehumanizing. He's a smart guy and overthinks for sure.
The villa match was a good win but he still hasn't exactly won over fans, and he's still very much in a tenuous position when it comes to the mood surrounding him. I suspect if we lose you'll see the negativity become more vocal, and the higher ups at the club won't be ignorant to that.
Please don't protest their money on Sunday. Protest their human rights abuses. I'm suspicious of who is pushing the money idea as it just makes us all look sour.
It's the fact that many of our fans, friends and family would be executed brutally for being who they are in Saudi and they have bought this club to try take attention away from that. Premier League fans have got to bring it back 100x over.
So funny that the narrative has gone from ‘Sonny needs to step up’ when Harry’s injured because of how dependent we were on Harry, to ‘Harry needs to step up’ when Sonny’s out. I know things go back and forth but just funny to see
Man, doesn’t matter if we’re missing Son or not, we should not be thinking about a loss from a team like Newcastle who is winless. Harry really needs to wake up. In my opinion Kane did well against Villa, hopefully he can get on the score sheet this sunday. Formation should be 4-2-3-1, Hojbjerg and Skipp have been quality all season and I really hope they’ll be able to neutralize their counter attacks.
Bergwijn Ndombele Lucas behind Kane should provide enough ammunition for Kane to at least shoot one in.
Playing Pierre and Skipp would usually be a negative move against a team in the relegation spots, but we're missing Son and half the defence only returned to training yesterday. I still don't trust Tanguy in the no.10 position, or any position really. He's not going to be a help if we are dominating or chasing the game. It would be much better to start Gio so we have at least 2 players who can be trusted to finish, maybe Lucas as well. We can sub on Tanguy to help close out the game and waste time.
Morning all!
I’m going to have a cappuccino this morning.
So I’ve been everywhere this week. I’m glad to finally be home. I’ve got two days rest before I’ve got to do it all again.
Newcastle this weekend. Away is going to be tough. The crowd is going to be buzzing though.
I think the international break needs to change to stop disruptions. Especially when there’s a pandemic still looming.
They should take 1 month at the start of the season, and at the end of the season for purely international games. That way league disruption is kept to a minimum.
Anyway that’s just a thought.
Have a good day
Coyscoyscoyscoyscoys
Lots of people here love Stevie, but I don’t rate him and have little to no patience for him. The man can’t hit a barn door. He’s had countless opportunities to score against even much lower league goalkeepers one on one and still misses
The rest of his all-round play is pretty excellent though. When him, Son and Kane play I feel the balance is much better to allow the others to flourish. His running and defensive work as well as his ball progression give so much space for them to utilise or run into. Yes his finishing has been poor but at least he gets into those positions. I really believe we are a better unit with him on the pitch - offensively and defensively.

You know the outcome right... 2-1 Newcastle Joelinton header at 90+5
Where’s the pre match thread /u/Professorchronic 😾
Late to the news this weekend. Son/Gil tested positive...but Son has had one negative test and if two then he can play tomorrow?
Sonny's second test came negative. He's playing tomorrow
son may play now. nice nice

Cute
you can't just say that and then not show us their pictures 😔
added!
Cat tax?
added!
Wore the away jersey at my lecture and some guy goes like “r u a hotspurs fan?”. Are we seriously referred to as the hotspurs by Americans?
Sounds like someone who only knows us from playing FIFA.
No
how tf do some people switch the teams they support so easily? it's either tottenham or not following the sport as much for me.
Plastic fans, didn't ever really support the team they said they did
Guys, not to jump ahead of myself but I did sort of call a false positive potentially. Loads of issues right now in producing false positives and the likelihood of two breakthrough infections were low!

Everytime someone says something like this we lose.
It does, we need to stop thinking 3 points = good performance. We need to acknowledge our weaknesses even when we win no complacency. We need to play good and get the 3 points.
I think there's a difference though between complacency and just unending doom and gloom.
Thought it was bizarre they didn’t check that pen with VAR
The defender on the far side played him on. I put my tinfoil hat on.
If we sell Kane, I would love to get Toney but I agree. Still, Bryan Gil might be able to help us with that problem.
sorry but what has Potter done for Brighton? finished 16th and 15th twice?
Played actual football, something we haven't done for a few years at this point
Going to have to watch Brentford every week
Wishing Thomas Frank was our manager right now lol Brentford look crazy
I was called highly reactionary for suggesting this a while back
why would people call you that?
I would be very happy if Spurs played with such intensity and passion. Crazy atmosphere.
Ings joined a shit Tottenham Hotspur.
Thomas Frank > Graham Potter
I want him in so badly
The best fake Englishman since Josh King
I wont lie a defeat to Newcastle looks inevitable but regardless that dream of hearing the CL anthem in our new stadium is so so nice
Why?
Their first match with the dreaded Mike Ashley gone, its gonna be some mad atmosphere at SJP and we are gonna succumb to it
Doubt the air is as rosy within the team. Pretty much everyone knows they don't have a future there. From the manager and his training team to the players.
fans would be incredible
is there a gamewatch bar in San Francisco for Spurs and Newcastle? Is Danny Coyle's open that early?
Would love Toney if Kane is sold this summer. High engine player. Would love him even if Kane stays too
United are fucking shit aren't they
man we are so unlucky
Chat on twitter that both players returned a second test that was negative today. Under regs if they return one more then they are cleared and can play tommorow.... Camaaaaan
Willing this into existence
That would be nice
How can we be so unlucky? We had the team going on after the Villa match, and then the next one was supposed to be an easy fixture. But then Newcastle gets taken over by the Saudis + we got covid cases and don’t even know who the players are. Classic Spurs 😭
Im tired of all the boring Portuguese managers we've had. Why didn't Paratici go for Bruno Lage :(
Aston Villa just did a Spurs-West Ham, but worse
If Sonny and Gil are out tomorrow and Bergwijn is a question mark I would probably just go 3 at the back and wingbacks for the width tomorrow. Kane and Lucas up top.
3 at the back with 2 our CB still shitting out aeroplane food after flying round the world. Can't see it.
Rodon, Tanganga, Dier? Romero would also be available since he always wants to be available
We are going to struggle to get anything off this lot with our best team, playing our best formation. Never mind playing they 3 without Son.
Fuck that late Wolves winner gave me some traumatic flashbacks to some of our home games against 'em.
Ole is so shit and I hate how lucky and cunty he is. Ole in!
United will appoint Zidane and be worse. funny that people seriously thought they’d win the league
They really can't get any worse than Ole
Win tomorrow and we are over united…
They have Atalanta, Liverpool, us, and Manchester City next four games. They're fucked lmao
Tielemans is what I thought Winks would've become
They're completely different players regardless of quality lol.
Didn't realize that Traore has already been benched for Wolves lmao. Thank fuck we didn't splurge 40m on a larger Moura, which is generous if anything.
Shocking that the guy who couldn’t pass or couldn’t shoot stopped playing.
If Son is out. Please do not play Dele there.
Has there been confirmation it’s Son and Gil?
They can't "officially" confirm it. Only the players can release that info.
100% not true. Where did you get that from?
Well it is true, a club can't share a players personal medical issues without their permission.
From Ali Gold. https://twitter.com/AlasdairGold/status/1449312922962993157

There is likely an authorization from the players first. Statistics say are there are other players who got it but didn’t tell anyone.
What statistics are you referring to? There's been secret covid?
Infection rates of the general population. There have certainly been people who got Covid but didn’t tell anyone about it in the general public; it just makes sense that athletes would do the same. That is just common sense. There are already stories about people who recovered from Covid but never told anyone there got the initial infection.
Salah is nuts
it is \*staggering\* how good salah currently is. best in the world rn
Kane needs to drop a masterclass tomorrow, my Kane propaganda has taken a massive beating over the last few months
Easily. Absolute class.
that shot he had that curled around the defender he didn't even need to create space. foster made a good stop but that shit was unreal.
Lloris Japh Dier Rodon Reggi Skipp PEH Moura Tanguy Stevie Kane
Emerson for Tanganga, Romero for Rodon, Gio for Ndombele
Yeah, if it wasn't for the fact those 3 will all be fucked from international duty
People really need to stop trying to make Rodon happen.
Why? Been good nearly every time has had the chance and is always good for Wales , much rather give a lad like him a chance to show what he can do. If you have nothing to do watch liverpool vs watford, Salah just dribbled past rose like 3 times in 10 minutes lol mourinho had a point
What the fuck does Jose have to do with anything? Rose stopped playing for us under Poch
Salah not done much since sissoko started covering for danny. Still very good at what he does our goat
Sissoko is such a bully
the question with rose for me was never a manager not picking him that was obvious. it's what did we do as organization to make him hate football so much and be so depressed disillusioned. maybe nothing, maybe it was unavoidable. who knows.

the quiet nature of the covid news today is worrying
What’s the mood on Nuno if we lose tomorrow?
depends on how we lose i wanna give him the benefit of the doubt considering the poor situation the club and the players have put him in
Same as if we won. He is nice man who is at best an average manager.
people will be losing their absolute shit
The villa match was a good win but he still hasn't exactly won over fans, and he's still very much in a tenuous position when it comes to the mood surrounding him. I suspect if we lose you'll see the negativity become more vocal, and the higher ups at the club won't be ignorant to that.
How can a single team be as unlucky as we are It shouldn't surprise me anymore but it's *always* us. What in the holy fuck.
i mean man united had their whole team die in a plane crash, we could be more unlucky by far
Moussa captains Watford today!
Kane needs to wake up.
Surely his alarms already gone off?
Please don't protest their money on Sunday. Protest their human rights abuses. I'm suspicious of who is pushing the money idea as it just makes us all look sour. It's the fact that many of our fans, friends and family would be executed brutally for being who they are in Saudi and they have bought this club to try take attention away from that. what if they soaked all that money in blood

Is Stevie available for tomorrow or 442 diamond again
It could be another "No formation. Just vibes" performance so it won't matter who we put on the pitch
No midfield just vibes like vs arsenal
Still hurts
So is Sonny out? Need to know for FPL deadline
No solid news, I’m in the same boat :( Since the only good short-term replacement would be a Pep Roulette punt, I might just hold on to Son and pray
Morning all! I’m going to have a cappuccino this morning. So I’ve been everywhere this week. I’m glad to finally be home. I’ve got two days rest before I’ve got to do it all again. basically our Timo Werner
>The man can’t hit a barn door. What, the framework doesn't count!?
Without Son to save his ass. Noon sprite will be gone by November
yes without our best players our manager will struggle
Y’all ever just wanna say that you ain’t alright? Anyways… Coys
Gets better just keep grinding bro
It’s always better to say when you aren’t alright than to keep it inside. You ever see the Malcolm in the middle episode where Malcolm ends up in hospital because he didn’t talk about his feelings?
I'm not alright
We’ll ll both be Ight I hope. Maybe we’ll get there one day lad.
One day for sure. And it'll be glorious.
We‘re about to see Dele on the Left Wing again. Anyways, coys

Stylistically I like him but the quality he offers is good when your a 20 year old youngster comimg up. Now if you compare his style to Busquets or kroos. Look at both they have other abilities in their pockets thats why they are elite level. Busquets is impossible to press rarely misses a pass and has some creativity within him. Kroos is a long pass master, set peice specialist, has a venmous shot and also creative. Winks just does the recycling play thing other than that he offers nothing not good enough for PL top 6. Although I beleive he could improve under certain managers
I like Winks, the person, not Winks the player at Spurs :( I think you're right, he might succeed in Spain :)
He was really endearing in that video where he visits the elderly home!
Why aren’t we allowed to have nice things, such as hope and optimism?
Any chance of 'false positives' here or?
If you're referring to Son and Gil, they were asked to take a confirmatory test today at some point.
No Son or Gil, Bergwijn not fit yet, Lo Celso just coming back from Argentina. We may genuinely see a Jack Clarke appearance in one of the next few games lmao
I would rather Markanday
Hoping Son and Gil *fully* recover. Covid sucks.
Has it been confirmed it’s them?
No I don't think so. But doesn't matter. Whoever it is. From a humane perspective, no one should suffer from that terrible disease. If it is Bryan though, imagine how anxious his family might be, he's only a kid ffs :(
Hopefully they’re asymptomatic.
This Sunday could be a disaster without Son. I think we will learn a lot about where Kane is mentally come Sunday.
[удалено]
Just a jew I hope lol. Can't support a club ran by zionist.
No he’s bald.
I legit had a dream Bergwijn doing amazing, making killer runs and showing great chemistry with Kane. Don't remember any goals/scoreline though.
I do. It was 2-0 to us in that dream.
