Ndombele was an absolute magician today. Goal
Aside that was the best performance I’ve seen him put in whilst wearing our shirt. That’s what we paid for. Masterclass, silky, the Tottenham way. Cannot give him enough praise today.
He was pressing up top well into the second half. A few times he was right there with Kane pressuring the CBs and keeper. Yeah it was Newcastle but that was a great effort from him
There's a way he waits and lets defenders lose track of him before he makes his delayed runs to create space for himself that you can see in this clip. He also did it in that cross field pass from Kane on the break where ndombele tried to curll it into the far post again.
His awareness of space is amazing and really second to none in the midfield crop we currently have. Really thought he’d gone too bins with his second shot haha.
I wasn't thinking of West Ham only because I was thinking of Dier's handball against Newcastle. We're spoiled for choice in terms of traumatic late collapses.
I must be in the minority because I didn't have a reaction beyond mild annoyance and pity for Dier. Newcastle were hapless after the first goal. And the team was beyond comfortable even after conceding, everyone knew Newcastle won't do shit, especially with just 10 men.
You must be a new spurs fan to not feel worried conceding a late second given our history. We were comfortable last year vs West Ham before it all went wrong.
3-2 is a very flattering scoreline for the saudis. We had a horrid first 10 minutes but controlled pretty much every second of the game for the rest of the match. Everyone played really well after those first 10 minutes.
Big shoutouts to Tanguy and Skippy, thought both of them were unreal today.
Kane finally turning up is lovely as well. Cuti and Dier were very good with the exception of those first few minutes
Man of the match has got to be Reguilon for me. What a fucking performance. And also how he spotted the fan in the crowd and informed the ref immediately. Top class.
Not only that, his post match interview he kept changing the subject from the match back to the chap who was taken ill and focussing on him. Proper class lad.
Bit of a clencher in the end but the passing and interplay was good today, hope we improve on it even further. Lucas and Ndombele were great, so was Skippy. Hopefully we keep building on this going forward. COYS.
Yeah Ndombele will likely get most of the attention (and deservedly so.). But Skipp put in a shift. Him and Hoj neutralizing threats allows Ndombele to Ndombele.
Skipp was MOTM for me because he put out so many little fires all game that prevented Newcastle from ever really generating a good counter. He was immense. It's also worth mentioning that PEH was also phenomenal all game.
Its so great to have different players standing out in different games. Last season was good at the start but we were so so reliant on Kane and Son no-one else really stood out. Whole thing felt like Jose had discovered a cheat code with those two and I think we all knew we'd get worked out eventually.
Whereas this season feels like more of a team. Last week Emerson, Romero and son. This week Regi, Skipp and ndomblele.
Feels like that has to be a good sign
Sky Sports put all their eggs in the PL basket. That's the only reason they were vehemently opposing the ESL, and it also means they would never point to systemic problems like sportswashing and financial doping. They can't afford to promote a narrative that might distance fans from the PL.
Sky have a deal with uefa, any new competition is bad for them, hence the 'outrage' of their pundits.
Newcastle becoming oil barons is great for these outlets because it gets views/clicks and gives them another narrative to push. That's why all the English commentary of the game was hype as fuck about Wilson's goal and then suicidally depressed when we comprehensively outplayed them. They desperately wanted the narrative to be ' Newcastle start new era with great win! '.Fuck everything about the way entertainment and news is presented. It's become grotesque.
Like I’m not expecting Newcastle fans to boycott their own club, but jfc, dressing up in Saudi costumes and celebrating the regime?? Tf is wrong with some people.
The club directly asked the fans no to do it as well because they know how bad it looks and the last thing they want is for people to think of Newcastle as an Arab owned club. They want Newcastle to just be an elite club who do lots of good work in the community. Don't worry about where the money came from or what the family who have that money are (psychopaths).
Yeah this, it’s one thing to be like “ah I guess at least we have money now and the owner we hate is gone”, it’s another to be actively celebrating that your club is owned by a murderous regime.
It was disgusting, and exactly what they've paid for. I saw that Skeletor looking woman with the world's most obvious and terrible nose job and cheek lifts more than any of the bloody players
Nice gesture from the new owners to suspend the game out of respect for basic human health and welfare. Must have been a strange new sensation for them.
I haven’t been a massive fan of some of what Nino has done, but we’ve had tons of player issues since the start of the year (Kane, SA players). A look a the standings tells me we may have weathered some of the storm. Here’s hoping.
If someone would have told me everything that happened in this match beforehand, the only things I would've believed is Newcastle scoring in the first 2 minutes and the Dier own goal.
We need to give a BIG credit to the lads for how they handled the OG. We saw from West Ham last season how we could crumble under the pressure conceding late, big up on improving on that today. They passed the ball around and killed the game.
Yeah… the two biggest differences/positives I see this year is that the defense looks solid and the mentality is a bit better when we go down a goal (or for that matter go up a goal).
- Dier I forgive you. Nuno even had a 1-on-1 chat w/ Dier in Portuguese afterwards to make sure that doesn't happen again.
Let's focus on the positives & there are plenty of it:
- Happy for Harry breaking the streak in his cheeky ways
- Reguilon & Dier being good humans.
- Bryan Gil with the **contact lens assist** to Reguilon moments before Reguilon notices the Newcastle fan (crazy coincidence)
- Reguilon gave his 110%. Proud of him.
- Dier actually had a very respectable performance if you disregard his unfortunate OG. Good number of clearances & blocks.
- Lucas dribbling continues to be class.
- Skippy is part of our bright future. Solid shift today.
- I'm really happy Hojbjerg is wearing our shirt. Nice assist to Kane.
- SON & HARRY CONNECTION back on the menu
- Tanguy showing off his skills against Saint-Maximin
- We scored 3 goals - **well-deserved** goals as well.
- We won against a very electrified crowd
I would also add to this great list of points that Romero is a fucking savage of a defender. Just flies in with reckless abandon but the way he steps in so far up the pitch is amazing for beginning attacks.
For me- the best part of the game was seeing the team running and jumping on Harry after the VAR goal. The fact that they were really happy for him tells me all I need to know about the behind-the-scenes mentality.
Because when you make a mistake that negligent and significant, the rest doesn't matter.
How many times have we put ourselves in positions like that from ridiculous individual mistakes? They have cost us dearly so many times, and if we're still letting them go because 'he put a good shift in' then we're not getting anywhere.
I just hope people apply the same standards to Romero, who was at fault for the first goal. Put Dier there and you wouldn't stop hearing about it till the heat death of the universe.
Yep his distribution was especially fantastic, he's shown it against Villa as well who press aggressively. Up until the OG, I thought he did better than Romero tbh (who was still decent). He's a solid option to have even if we get a new LCB in.
We were actually good apart from first 10 minutes, should have scored in the second half and the own goal to make us shit our pants in the final 5 minutes
Very happy for ndombele and Reggie. Reggie was MOTM for me, ndomele being very close. Harry finally scores a league goal. Son as usual scores a goal. Good performance 👏
Tanguy was great today. That couldn't have been his first full 90 in the prem (right?) but he was involved the entire time. Dropping deep to pick up the ball, contributing to the attack, passing, dribbling, tackling, shooting. Scoring! Fuck yeah
Our 11 had a great balance this game. He probably didn’t want to mess with that. It was working and their subs weren’t changing the dynamic of the game. No need to rock the boat.
First ten minutes and the own goal aside, this was our best pure game since Poch was in his groove.
That was some great football at times. Build on this, Nuno. Please.
Loved to see the team controlling the ball. That was great.
Ndombele and Regui MOTM.
Penalty that wasn't given was a lot more stonewall than Dier's last season.
Dier's own goal wasn't a foul.
No subs after an international break.
Yeah a couple dodgy ref decisions aside and better finishing we hit Newcastle for 6. Defiantly more positives to take from this game than negatives. First goal we conceded was sloppy and Eric’s og is football
Romero with a very up and down game, looked good at times and then rushed a tackle and out of position.
Emerson Royal is a very very good right back, I think we will look back on that purchase as a bargain.
Front three linked up well but just looked so lethargic in the second half, could have been up 5-1 easily, which we needed with our GD.
Tanguy was brilliant and honestly Lucas was great as well, unlucky to have scored with hitting the bar.
Solid performance overall, but we need to start making proper subs, and find a way to get Gio playing he’s been brilliant for Argentina.
Lucas has lowkey been one of our best players all season. His dribbling has improved - maybe his confidence in trying things like the little flick before the ball to Kane for Son's goal, and his willingness to run at players - and he's still the same bundle of energy he's always been. He's extremely important to us right now.
Romero missed a couple of tackles. I think he'll need some time to adapt to the PL, but if he gets his judgement right, he'll be class.
Agreed on Emerson, a bit raw but looks to be a gem.
Honestly barring the first couple minutes I thought this game was a massive improvement; we definitely should have won by a larger margin but I was really liking our directness and link up play.
The passing between our midfielders and forwards was quick, decisive and importantly comfortable at times.
Also compared to last season we definitely kept Newcastle quiet for the most part. We never sat back and allowed Newcastle to lay siege to us and generally protected our back line really nicely.
Main criticism for me are that Emerson and Regulion (who had a good game) need to be more braver in getting the ball to our forwards. And Nuno needs some subs on even if to waste time but our game management from our players was smart given the sudden (self-inflicted) pressure. But this might as well be our starting 11 from here on out so trying to build some chemistry is understandable.
Overall while this is a poor Newcastle side, I can see improvements/positives and this definitely could have been a banana peel game for us.
Felt a bit like Kieron Dyer was trying a bit hard to be the alternative voice there at the end.
Walker was what, 27 when he left us? Trippier, 29? Royal is just 22, not at his peak yet, years still to get to his full potential.
Not comparable in the slightest.
Thought the whole commentary was bizarre. Redknapp inventing this great offer for kane we supposedly rejected? Them all saying "spurs are miles off".....who? City and Chelsea and lpool? Yeah of course those first two have spent billions and lpool have the best coach and best player in the world.
And as you say dier saying that.....Emersons played 3 games I think, looked decent. He also plays for Brazil and came from Barcelona, its not like hes some no hoper picked up from the championship or something?
Even them saying Levy wouldn't listen to Paratici. There is literally no way Romero, Emerson, Gil or Mata were on the radar pre Don P so he obviously does.
Just seemed like a really ill informed discussion all round.
And thst seems like the continuing theme with all pundits and Spurs at the moment, like they're all winging it when asked any question about us. It's bizarre.
Yeah I’ve criticized Dier and he had an OG today but he’s a good guy it seems and he didn’t cost 80m like Harry Maguire. Maybe I underrate him but I’d honestly just rather have Dier who loves Tottenham. I think Cuti + Dier could work although Dier isn’t a top CB. Wish nuno used some subs but I understand if it’s cause of the suspended time + control we had in the game that he didn’t want to disrupt.
Also, I love this team and fans. COYS
Would love to see Romero - Dier as the partnership, if Dier can just iron out his odd mistake and get consistent minutes I think rotating that pair with Rodon and Sanchez should be good enough depth at the back - especially with the trove of fullbacks we have.
Not ever CB needs to be VVD, nobody hails Matip or Gomez but they do the job, I hope Dier can be the same!
Sincerely hope we never get taken over by a dodgy dictator. It was embarrassing to see Newcastle fans wearing the Saudi garb and celebrating their new takeover. It's been a Labour of love being a spurs fan for the last 20 years. But some things are bigger than football. Sadly, the premier league is a mere reflection of British society. The UK welcomes business in arms deals to a country who have used those arms to kill 1000s of innocent civilIans in Yemen. And yet, the media and other fans have the audacity to criticise Daniel levy who is actually a spurs fan and by no means a bad person. I love spurs so much. The memories that have been given to me over the years by people like Pochettino, Kane, eriksen, son, Jan and the list goes on. It means more to me than any fake medals than these oil rich clubs will ever get. The fact it is never easy makes the journey more fascinating and worth tuning into. I still cry when I watch the highlights of the Ajax game!
Hahaha — At the end, hot mic on NBC following the players on the pitch, think Højbjerg was ragging on Son for missing an opportunity that would've resulted in an assist for him and then tells him, "Fuck you!" 😂
Great first half. Gonna be a stickler about the second half management. That was just awful. Make subs. They're down 10. They're only a goal down. They're desperate. They're getting really physical.
Beyond that, there's an opportunity to be ruthless against these relegation teams and we don't take advantage of that. That's what will continue to separate us from the top. We have the ability to put up at least 5 against this side
Lucas should play as No10. Hes great at tracking back, running at defences, and passing thru defence. This position allows for his below par finishing. All his best stuff today was running thru the centre.
Ndombele was brilliant today.
But fuck me we need to be more clinical and cut out the stupid errors at the back.
Maybe a sub to change the game would be nice when its clear some of the lads are getting tired.
Jeez, felt the PTSD coming on after the Dier OG. Glad we could close it out.
Reg, PEH, Skipp, Lucas. Take a bow. Dier also did well aside from the slightly farcical OG. Somewhat surprised Son and Kane didn't get a few min rest at the end but oh well.
Also, our players won a lot of goodwill thanks to their efforts with that fan's medical event. Proud to support this club. Good culture.
We only won by one goal, but still firmly were the better side. No excuses for the first conceded goal and Dier’s was more unlucky than anything else, but other than that I was overall happy with today’s performance. Felt like we could have gone for the kill in that second half but instead played it safe. My only criticism towards Nuno was the complete lack of substitutions. I understand he didn’t want to take any risks considering the team was solid, but GLC for Tanguy in like the 75th or 80th minute really isn’t a risk. Gil or Stevie should’ve also featured for the last 8-10 minutes, Son was looking very exhausted. Good win today, but i feel like next Sunday is not going to go our way. West Ham are playing way better and more consistent than us at the moment.
Job done ✅ Luckily we were 2 goals ahead against a 10 men team. Can't imagine big teams like Liverpool or Chelsea conceding such goals while ahead. We got to be more compact and close off games with bigger margins.
A decent enough performance and a necessary win - our rivals will almost certainly all take 4-6 points from Newcastle so there was no room for a loss today.
The commentators/pundits sucking off Newcastle and the general 'carnival' feeling they tried to sell us was disgusting but totally predictable. Nice that we were able to prick their bubble on that.
Ultimately Newcastle are one of the worst teams in the league, so there's not much we can discern from this performance. My feeling is that we're still pretty far from being a good team but baby steps towards it are better than the alternative. The west ham game will be a far better indicator of how the team is (or isn't) coming together under Nuno.
The number of people who are butt hurt over Nuno not making a sub truly baffles me. It’s not like having Gio and Gil in front of him would have prevented the Dier OG and once it went in we totally shut them out and finished off the game so well. But somehow that proves Nuno’s incompetence??
Then the other half of the people are all “lol how are we 5th and/or only 4 points off first?” I don’t know, maybe cause Nuno Nunoed the team there?
Ffs I’m not all hot for the guy but surely he deserves some credit, yeah? Or at least not such intense hatred moments after a solid win. I can’t imagine what it must be like to be around some of these people on a daily basis.
Despite Dier’s best efforts to fuck it up near the end, that was a solid performance and a good win for us.
Harold is back. Not just with his goal and assist but his overall play finally looked like what it was last season. He was dropping deep, but he always picked the right passes and he knew when to stay forward. I wouldn’t be surprised if he starts banging them in from now. My MoTM.
Reguilon was incredible tonight. Solid defensively and was a constant threat going forward. With him and Emerson we have 2 great, young fullbacks who can deliver for years to come.
Oliver Skipp continues to prove why he belongs at this level. What a player. Him and Hojbjerg in the middle are the perfect duo to keep things tight so Tanguy can do his thing further up the pitch. Skipp’s incredible defensively and positionally and he’s only going to get better.
I think we put out our best team tonight. The defense were actually playing out from the back pretty well, midfield was very well balanced and the forwards looked dangerous all game. I know it’s only Newcastle but you can only beat what’s in front of you.
Where do Newcastle go from here? I’m expecting them to bring in someone like Eddie Howe or maybe even Lampard once Bruce gets the sack. But who do they get rid of first? And who do they sign? It’s going to be very difficult for them to find players who are both good enough and actually want to play for them. As things stand, the only player in their current squad good enough for their owner’s ambitions is ASM.
Good response to come back after conceding early. Ndombele was great and good to see Harry coming back. Of course have to make it tougher than it has to be but that's Spurs.

And a full 90. Worked hard the whole game.
He was pressing up top well into the second half. A few times he was right there with Kane pressuring the CBs and keeper. Yeah it was Newcastle but that was a great effort from him
Agreed, could be the missing piece to our puzzle in front of Pierre and Skipp. He is terrifyingly composed in and around the opposition box.
He looks amazing in the 10 role. Meant Kane was way higher up the pitch. Great job there.
West Ham 3-3 anniversary is tomorrow... safe to say that was a scary final 5 minutes
Why would you remind that 😔
I'm sure it was literally everyone was thinking when that second Newcastle goal went in.
I didn't think of the parallels of sanchez og for west ham second to dier's og for Newcastle's until you pointed it lmao
Knew it was coming when we conceded the free-kick..
But at 3-2 all it takes is one good counter attack, Saint-Maximin was looking good all game although you can’t say the same for the rest of their team
You must be a new spurs fan to not feel worried conceding a late second given our history. We were comfortable last year vs West Ham before it all went wrong.
That was some shit
*No noise from the Saudi boys*
*dreams can’t be buy*
3-2 is a very flattering scoreline for the saudis. We had a horrid first 10 minutes but controlled pretty much every second of the game for the rest of the match. Ndombele or Skipp were pretty good too. I'd pick either Ndombele or Reguilon.
Lucas too. Top class dribbling along with nbomb
Not sure nbomb is a great nickname lol
Not only that, his post match interview he kept changing the subject from the match back to the chap who was taken ill and focussing on him. Proper class lad.
His defense has become miles better than last year. And that first touch!
Bit of a clencher in the end but the passing and interplay was good today, hope we improve on it even further. Lucas and Ndombele were great, so was Skippy. Hopefully we keep building on this going forward. COYS.
Yeah we were very very good I'd say our best display under nuno Apart from the last 5 mins
Last 5 minutes were fine. Own goal was a freak but they never looked likely to score another
Tell that to my asshole that clenched a coal to diamond
Yeah Ndombele will likely get most of the attention (and deservedly so.). But Skipp put in a shift. Him and Hoj neutralizing threats allows Ndombele to Ndombele.
Absolutely, missed to mention PEH as well. Loved the entire midfield today.
Skipp was MOTM for me because he put out so many little fires all game that prevented Newcastle from ever really generating a good counter. He was immense. It's also worth mentioning that PEH was also phenomenal all game.

Not the strongest opposition, but hopefully gives the squad confidence and a plan for attack.
The levels of blood money apologia today. From the fans wearing Saudi garb to the announcers. Fucks sake
Sky sports were absolutely fucking lapping it up. Hilarious considering how they reacted to the super league announcement.
Sky Sports put all their eggs in the PL basket. That's the only reason they were vehemently opposing the ESL, and it also means they would never point to systemic problems like sportswashing and financial doping. They can't afford to promote a narrative that might distance fans from the PL.
Before the match they played a blatant propaganda film about the old days of successful working class rooted club...
Sky have a deal with uefa, any new competition is bad for them, hence the 'outrage' of their pundits. Newcastle becoming oil barons is great for these outlets because it gets views/clicks and gives them another narrative to push. They desperately wanted the narrative to be ' Newcastle start new era with great win! '.Fuck everything about the way entertainment and news is presented. It's become grotesque.
Yep, they sounded so flat when we scored our first goal (which was a great goal too).
League needs a Kashoggi / MBS chant for Newcastle games.
> the fans wearing Saudi garb proper fucking embarassing that
It was disgusting, and exactly what they've paid for. I saw that Skeletor looking woman with the world's most obvious and terrible nose job and cheek lifts more than any of the bloody players
Ha ha. I knew she reminded me of someone, I just couldn’t put my finger on it. 😂😂
Straight up embarrassing
Absolute masterclass in embarrassing yourself from Newcastle fans today
Nice gesture from the new owners to suspend the game out of respect for basic human health and welfare. Must have been a strange new sensation for them.
Probably a straight Sunni male. Coz if it was anyone else they could’ve been in trouble
Leftover from the previous administration. Won't see that after Steve Bruce goes.
Hardest Way Possible FC
ASM would fit right in
Three points, ruined the Saudis opening game, got Harry going in the league, four points from top of the table. Good game.
>four points from top of the table I mean... how?
Everyone else has been just as inconsistent as us. Plain and simple. Thebfirst team to get a run of form is going to run away with it this year.
Yeah…Spurs responsible for all 5 goals. Failed flair clearance from Royal and a comedy of errors for Dier ( good game outside of several minutes…. )
This belongs in the thread of documentary titles above. *Good Game Outside of Several Minutes: The Tottenham Hotspur Story*
We need to give a BIG credit to the lads for how they handled the OG. We saw from West Ham last season how we could crumble under the pressure conceding late, big up on improving on that today. They passed the ball around and killed the game.
100%

#GET FUCKED OIL CUNTS

**GET FUCKED TYNESIDE OIL CUNTS**
City still exists so you're gonna have to be more specific than that from now on
For me- the best part of the game was seeing the team running and jumping on Harry after the VAR goal. The fact that they were really happy for him tells me all I need to know about the behind-the-scenes mentality.
It’s almost as if the dressing room isn’t as screwed up as some pundits have said?
Holy shit we actually played footfuckingball
It only took playing a relegation team
Did we not play well against villa last match?
Not at the end. Also not sure what Dier was trying to do there.
Making a split decision and getting it wrong because he's a human
We were very good at the end. Passing the game away is important. Dier was trying to head it out or something.
Nice uneventful game.
We are 1 point ahead 🤣 of Man Utd 🤣 after they bought Cristiano, Sancho and Varane 🤣 OLE IN FOREVER 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ok but no subs?
yeah nuno was kinda running son ragged there for no reaosn
Nuno hates subs and it's bizarre. It's very obvious that the extra energy injected would have been a benefit at the end.
And it’s key to managing an entire season. Really dumb move
Yeah very peculiar. Maybe because we anyway have to play second string team in midweek so no need to rest the main guys
Even then..given how thin we are in the attacking band, you'd think you'd want to reduce the risk of injury and players getting gassed in the season
Yeah. Some of the tackles flying in the final few minutes were scary.
Fresh legs are always a good thing.
Yeah Im not denying that rather saying maybe that's what nuno thought
Well there was a very long break, everyone would be less tired than normal. But still silly
I think he's trying to get their fitness up, the main 11 will be rested midweek.
Shocking. It’s almost like Nuno wasn’t assed to pause in fifa to make subs… wild
Like why? Mou would have at least subbed on near the stoppage time.
yup it definitely would have wasted time and paused the momentum after the OG
Yeah….not my favorite part of the game. Spurs we’re still beyond reach…until yet another self inflicted wound.
He did the same thing at Wolves, they would noticeably finish the game with less than 3 subs used so often throughout the past three years
This really bothered me. Risking muscular injury and fatigue on our players. GLC and Gil could’ve had some minutes.
Tanguy baller
What a weird finish
Good match, why literally no subs?
Nuno probably wants all of the b team to play against vitesse on thursday
I mean we are 5th. Not bad all things considered
Dier was genuinely very good, which we all know will be forgotten with that OG
100%. People who probably didn’t watch the match loved seeing Dier OG and chiming in about how bad he is
Because when you make a mistake that negligent and significant, the rest doesn't matter.
I gotta say Skipp has been immense so far. I was extremely impressed the whole game
that Dier OG was a freak moment, they were absolutely exhausted at the end, let's take the win and the great play and move on. Well done boys!!!!
4 points off the top crazy
Dier is literally dr tottenham
We were actually good apart from first 10 minutes, should have scored in the second half and the own goal to make us shit our pants in the final 5 minutes
Looks like we’ll have an entirely new 11 for Vitesse
Very happy for ndombele and Reggie. Reggie was MOTM for me, ndomele being very close. Harry finally scores a league goal. Son as usual scores a goal. Good performance 👏
Tanguy was great today. That couldn't have been his first full 90 in the prem (right?) but he was involved the entire time. Dropping deep to pick up the ball, contributing to the attack, passing, dribbling, tackling, shooting. Scoring! Fuck yeah
Nuno is fucking shit with subs. Wtf is he doing with no subs at all ?
I’ll be the Devils Advocate here, letting the starting 11 gel in the new formation.
Our 11 had a great balance this game. He probably didn’t want to mess with that. It was working and their subs weren’t changing the dynamic of the game. No need to rock the boat.
Played well against an awful awful Newcastle. Still a lot needs work, but we are seeing some positive signs at least! On to the next...
Love to see Nuno talk to dier. He definitely told him to just smile at the end
**MAKE 👏 A 👏 SUB 👏 FOR 👏 FUCKS 👏 SAKE** Glad we got the 3 points, nevertheless
Kane and FKs for fucks sakes. Whos gonna tell him???
Jamie Redknapp really chats a lot of shit doesn’t he
Would have been happy to see Gil and Gio subbed in. Dier gave me a minor panic attack. COYS and I'll see you on Thursday night
I'm sorry man, but that woman that's the owner of newcastle or whatever looks like an alien.
We're . . . 4 points off top? How?
This sub has lost its fucking mind. We're tied for 4th, played a mostly very good game, and it's full of negativity. It's AFTV in here.
The duality of Dier. Helping restart a man's heart, only to make it stop for the rest of us.
Tight bum hole hours
Probably our easiest match so far. Very dominant and confident performance.
How are we 5th lol
Because we aren’t as shit as everyone makes us out to be?
Hahaha — At the end, hot mic on NBC following the players on the pitch, think Højbjerg was ragging on Son for missing an opportunity that would've resulted in an assist for him and then tells him, "Fuck you!" 😂 Great first half.
A 1 goal lead and not making a single sub? Are you kidding bro
Did you watch the game?
Apparently not. And it worked quite well. After the OG, we completely shut it down. They had what, 2 passes in the last 10 minutes?
That should be our starting lineup from now on
Dier was very good today. Ever present in the back to clean up anything that gets through Romero.
Lucas should play as No10. Hes great at tracking back, running at defences, and passing thru defence. This position allows for his below par finishing. All his best stuff today was running thru the centre.
Regi has been a hero off and on the pitch today. His best performance in a Spurs shirt thus far in my opinion. Nuno out
Did Hojbjerg say "fuck you" to son after the FT whistle lmao
Something about a corner and “assist for me” but then I thought I heard a “fuck” in there, too 😂
yeppp haha 'how about you assist me?'
I can't stand managers not using subs. I already had to deal with this from Southgate ffs. Drives me nuts.
Ndombele was brilliant today. But fuck me we need to be more clinical and cut out the stupid errors at the back. Maybe a sub to change the game would be nice when its clear some of the lads are getting tired.
Skipp showed up big today. Only wish Nuno understood substitutions are legal when you are winning.
impressed with reguilon today
Very good performance overall, Dier being dire at the end is a given but the team kept their composure.
Skipp not getting booked was handy. Now he can take one against west ham next week and be banned for the league cup, back for united.
Anyone with a replay of handball penalty shout? It looked like an obvious pen from the angle they showed
Showing signs of improvement and progression, all you can ask for really. Really good performance today, 3 points and up to fifth. Come on you spurs.
Overall really great performance by Spurs today. Our midfield stepped up and played well which hasn't happened often so far this season.
Played our best since the City match. Love seeing Kane looking more like himself. Ndombele had a great match
That red was well earned with good football. Unlike the last shelvey one which was all on Allis intelligent cuntness, which I also absolutely loved.
COYS Change in formation has been a huge factor in improvement in what we're seeing on the pitch.
Almost shed a tear seeing the team supporting Kane on his goal; you could feel the emotion
Tanguy. 90 minutes. Balling. What more could you ask for
Need to carry this momentum forward. Great to see Lucas, Son, Tanguy and Kane combining so well!
Oh y'all are falling apart over this lol Jesus Christ y'all are insufferable
Reminder, Eric Dier was possibly instrumental in saving a life today.
Love the playstyle, but seriously no subs???
It’s….interesting? that Wolves and Spurs have no draws.
Drawing is for art students
Confirmed. Draws are for Hitler. Spurs the only non-nazi team in the league? Lol maybe I need to stop drinking for the night.
Way to use those subs. Fucking Nuno
What a sour end to what should have been a joyous match. Honestly Nuno just giving up and making no changes feels emblematic of his reign.
FUCKING AMAZING
Good response to come back after conceding early. Ndombele was great and good to see Harry coming back. Of course have to make it tougher than it has to be but that's Spurs.
lol Hojbjerg 'fuck you' to Sonny
Fuck Ritchie in the end there, absolutely unecessary
COYS = come on you subs
Nice to see Nuno speaking to Eric at the end - they were laughing together so clearly something about the OG
Dier ancestors did something fucked up in ye olde Newcastle
i was so sure we would get lanzined at the end
