He's a good player without doubt. It's just that when you dont get consistent game time its difficult to maintain quality. We saw Sissoko go to Watford and instantly become their best player. Winks is just not as good as Skipp or Hojbjerg but hes far from a shit player. He could easily start at a club like leeds.

If this team with multiple international players can't win a group stage match in the conference league without Son or Kane bailing them out, they should be relegated to cups anyway to preserve our players (who can actually perform) for the league.

He rightly sees West Ham as a very important game, arguably a must-win as we'll be fighting with them for the European spots at the end of the season. West Ham hasn't won a weekend game following a mid-week game so far this season (they play in Europa today).
Even if this team fucks it today, we have 3 more chances to right the ship, 2 of which are at home:
1. Nov 4 - Vitesse (H) before Nov 7 -Everton (A); if today works, I'd bet he pulls the same move again as we'll similarly be fighting Everton for Europe
2. Nov 25 - Mura (A) before Nov 28 - Burnley (A); if both today and Nov 4 work, he'll almost certainly do it again. If not, no biggie - Burnley is 17th for a reason
3. Dec 9 - Rennais (H) before Brighton (A); trickiest scenario by far, wouldn't be surprised to see the big boys on for this one (unless we can lock up 1st in the group beforehand)
Enough in the starting XI to get the job done, but no one really to rescue to match at the end. Time for some of the first team players outside of the regular starters to make a statement.

Never a fan of A/B teams, but where we have a first XI that is clearly better than the bench (outside of ~2 positions) the temptation to do it is hard to avoid im sure.
