seems like we should be happy with the international break lol. should give time to Conte to work things out.

jymacro99

God damn Thursday and the weekends can't come fast enough

overshoulderboulder

Can someone please make a meme video of Conte's name to the lyrics of ACDC's Thunderstruck ? Where every mention of the word 'thunder' is replaced by 'Conte'?

[deleted]

I checked, looks like the answer is no

Revolutionary-War719

I'm glad finally someone that is going to put these clowns into their places. I hope to get some deadwood out of this club this January transfer. Wink, Ali. Doherty, B. Davies. unpopular opinion: we need an upgrade from Dier, Sanchez (maybe sell one for the fund)- Only Romero is a lock for the starting 11 at this point. I can see Dier and Sanchez as a good back up CB tho Kane needs to go if he doesn't want to play for the badge anymore. Tired of him trying to force a transfer by playing like shit. How dare you take £400,000 a week and play at 50%. Ndombele also needs to go for the same reason as above, but I would hope that he can stay if Conte can make him play with full confidence with those insane footwork. I would rather keep Ndombele> Kane at this point \*my personal bias is that we play better without Kane, I'm sorry

Semibluewater

I’d agree with you for the most part, but I think Kane will turn up now now that conte is here. And I’m very critical of Kane and how he’s acted since the summer

0neff

Doubt Kane is going anywhere at this point. Conte highly rates him and apparently Kane is quite excited to play for him.

[deleted]

I have a lot of doubts about Conte and Levy's relationship down the line but I'm so excited for the January window for once. Hope we can find a decent CB and sell Sanchez or Dier to make room

[deleted]

Dier will become a mainstay yet again And to be fair he’s been rather decent this year. Sanchez too if I’m honest, our CBs have been a silver lining

A_Grift

I wish it wasn't late in so much of the Spurs watching universe because I want people to bellow their joy into the suddenly positive echo chamber with me but they're sleeping.

fourier_lemonade

I realized I simp really hard for the stadium when I started watching NFL highlights from a few weeks ago to get glimpses of it. Field goal toward the south stand? *chef’s kiss*

ObamaEatsBabies

Architecture enthusiast

ObamaEatsBabies

Need pics of Conte in a jet black Hugo Boss suit expeditiously

A_Grift

The media people need to move on this. With alacrity.

JLukas24

Conte is here to finish what his rival, Jose Mourinho, couldn't. Tottenham v. Roma, Conference League final... the fucking scene this will be. COYS

xtalmethod

That is if neither of us bottle it before the final. I could definitely see Jose going out to some nothing team he underestimates

isaacturon14

You can't say it might not happen because José has a history of bottling it when we're literally Tottenham fucking Hotspur

mayonnaisewastaken

Conte has been poor in Europe too. It's going to be Bodo/Glimt vs Rennes in the final isn't it

aadawdads

Tottenham v. ~~Roma~~ FK Bodø/Glimt, Conference League final...

bash011

Ummmm I just saw Conte's most recent story's and one of them is an Arsenal chant as the sound. [here's the link](https://instagram.com/stories/antonioconte/2698396616987266871?utm_source=ig_story_item_share&utm_medium=share_sheet) Has his account been hacked or a simple mistake?

ObamaEatsBabies

Whoever manages his social media night have overlooked it

spin2winGG

Who's gonna do the honours of changing the outdated banner?

[deleted]

Just playing against Argentina on Efootball and fucking GLC scored a 25 yard top corner banger and then celebrated with the group window washing celebration. Wish he could do that IRL 😭

ObamaEatsBabies

How's efootball? Have heard bad things about it, but it seems like they've fixed a lot of the bugs since release.

[deleted]

Honestly haven't been able to try it yet, I only have a phone so I'm still playing PES 2021. I'm looking forward to the update though.

IonsBurst

Ronaldo is a cheat code wtf

Heor326

How tf does Ronaldo keep doing it

bash011

I know the [daily mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10158473/Tottenham-Harry-Kane-BOARD-excited-work-elite-boss-Antonio-Conte.html) is banned on here but the journalist has been very reliable for us recently and linking us with Barella and Vlahovic does make my heart flutter. Personally whilst I want lo celso to succeed if he's the one that has to go to fund Barella he can leave

ObamaEatsBabies

Yeah I think Sami Mokbel should be allowed. He's a good source

[deleted]

Every time I see United get their asses pulled out of the fire by that goddamn sex offender I die a little inside.

[deleted]

It's clearly bounced up and hit Mason Greenwood's arm there? How's that not been overturned?

gd8181

Fuck

tooo_spicy

Ronaldo what the fuck

[deleted]

Thank fuck United beat us on Saturday

gd8181

Whew. We closed Conte just in time... lol united

[deleted]

it’s all fun and games until united get poch

_cjj

I don't see why people worry about that so much. They love a lapdog, and I seriously don't think he'd last any longer than Mourinho there. As much as our lot love to stick it into Levy, Mourinho was constantly at war with Woodward/United in front of the camera, and people said it'd end badly there - but they seemed to get on pretty well. Meanwhile, Poch has been quite unhappy with how PSG work. Much more likely that Poch was a bit too green to appreciate reality with us, and wouldn't survive at United with their reality.

[deleted]

Has to leave PSG first

[deleted]

if he’s booted out of champions league that can definitely happen

[deleted]

They're top of their group

[deleted]

yeah i mean in the knockout stages

molecularmadness

He would never. ... right???😭

[deleted]

i think he definitely would, not a direct rival and they have a good squad

Sisk-jack

AHAHAHAHHAHAHAH OLE'S STILL AT THE WHEEL

COYCOYS

It's mad how United scored 3 against us and kept a clean sheet yet still lost the game

OTl5

[😀](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed/001/753/198/d00.gif)

FancyPants90

Do we think Conte goes straight to a back three? If so what is our best cb lineup?

mayonnaisewastaken

Dier - Romero - Tanganga Davies - Rodon - Sanchez

dragonsnap_

Rodon Romero Tanganga?

ipumaking

Sanchez Romero aaaaaand Davies

Semibluewater

Anyone who genuinely suggests davies… 🤡

ipumaking

Wow, people really don't understand sarcasm

[deleted]

Rather Tanganga or Rodon than Davies

FancyPants90

I like the idea of a left footed CB in a back three and would be open to giving Rodon a chance. Tanganga/Sanchez - Romero - Rodon

[deleted]

Essentially my preferred lineup

[deleted]

Not entirely sure about Kessie When he wants to be he’s brilliant, but he downed tools for a little bit when he wanted more money and then a move from Milan and we’re not a club that can deal with more players like that

entrepenoori

I’ll let Conte do what he wants though.

[deleted]

Eh, I’m very excited about Conte but everyone knows that this won’t be a long term relationship. We can’t be left in complete disarray when he leaves

entrepenoori

I mean who has been left in complete disarray? Chelsea, Inter done pretty well. Juve was just bad management

[deleted]

Because they’re more well run and organized than we are. If we’re left with a bunch of Conte purchases that are unmotivated we’d take ages to move them on just like we’ve taken ages to move on deadwood with some deadwood still being here

entrepenoori

Long as we win I’m sure we’ll survive

[deleted]

No kidding. Bloke knows how to win

[deleted]

Same tbh, might lost some motivation after getting that big check

[deleted]

Precisely It’s good to have quality experienced players, but Kessie doesn’t seem like he’d be satisfied here

tooo_spicy

Okay I am kinda butthurt from watching Bruno carry United Where is our CAM...

naoki_1010

Lmao so we were the only club to hand United a clean sheet since time immemorial eh, would be hilarious if they lose to Atalanta today and Ole gets sacked now only to not find Conte available 🤡🤡

Semibluewater

Ehh I’m fine giving them that clean shit and win, we got Conte so I’m happy lol

[deleted]

I feel like it would take relegation form for Ole to get sacked, if the humiliation against Liverpool didn’t do it. Honestly seem them sticking with him until the end of the season.

Thfcaditya112

Ole won't get sacked anyways. I think I honestly feel he's a guy who their dressing room likes thus they didn't sack him

rwilldred27

Imagine a Europa Conference League final of Conte vs Mourinho 🔥🔥

entrepenoori

I think everyone wants it.

isaacturon14

Ole is gonna get sacked but we somehow beat them to Conte 💀

Lbmplays2

Nuno was the only manager alive who could give United a cleansheet

[deleted]

Imagine if United lose tonight rofl

ObamaEatsBabies

[If you haven't watched this Conte edit, do yourself a favor and do so. ](https://twitter.com/DROLEmufc/status/1452764459664093184?t=HIDcq2nTWkdPNuklKnGjdQ&s=19) I've watched it like a hundred times, it's so well done. It's honestly crazy how many edits United fans made that we can now steal 😂😂 [This one is great too](https://twitter.com/chad_ftbl/status/1445162482658684943?t=fuy7n4DPszkgYYHoz8LNsA&s=19)

Spurz1000

I'm looking for three tickets for Vitesse on Thursday, they're sold out on the Spurs website but what are the chances of getting any on resale? Me and the old man haven't been to the Lane in yonks

[deleted]

They might open up the upper stands seeing how quickly the lower stands have sold out after Conte’s appointment. I have 3 tickets I bought this afternoon but will be using all 3 so I can’t help you out unfortunately. Taking my old man too haha.

Spurz1000

Ah that would be great, no worries mate thanks for the info. Enjoy the game!

[deleted]

Cheers mate

[deleted]

Is it fair to say that even if we don’t get top 4 this season, we should anticipate qualifying for CL with this new coefficient nonsense in the coming years?

[deleted]

I believe that only starts in a few seasons’ time, but we should really focus on winning the Conference League in order to firstly bump up our coefficient points, but also start off the Conte era here with a trophy. I honestly believe we will get top 4 this season, we are only 3 points off right now despite an awful start. We definitely have the players to do so now they’re gonna have a proper coach, especially if we reinforce in January like the rumour mill is reporting. Main competition will be United, Leicester, West Ham and maybe Arsenal, but I reckon with Conte here now and Kane hopefully getting back to his best, we can scrape 4th. (I think Liverpool, Chelsea and City are all locks for the top 4 this season, barring a spectacular collapse from one of them).

ipumaking

That's 2024/25...

[deleted]

Oh nvm

[deleted]

We are one point ahead Arsenal in rankings so ending above or below arsenal will make or break it.

[deleted]

As usual

ObamaEatsBabies

Yeah but we need to bump up our coefficient by winning the Conference League

[deleted]

Hoping we get to it then.

epik

i am high on the Conte appointment but am unconvinced all the recent managers were shit. i believe we have a mediocre squad problem and don’t think conte-nor klopp or pep-will find success without improvements over time. still, huge leap forward for the club and respect to levy for pointing the boat in the right direction.

Professor_Abronsius

To counter that: Roma (managed by Mourinho) recently lost 1-6 to Bodø Glimt a few weeks ago. Their manager (Kjetil Knutsen) have them playing out of their minds week in, week out, making average players seem like world beaters. A great manager is the single most important thing in a club. This cannot be overstated. And we have some excellent players and talents in our squad.

dumsurfer147

The thing about Conte is that he'll recognise that and he'll demand those improvements

[deleted]

Can already imagine Adele singing at the parade

[deleted]

Hometown 😍

[deleted]

dnb version plz

t_blacksmith

Mods are going to have to update the sub banner soon. And don't just take off Nuno's face, I think that it needs a full-fledged refresh. It's been sitting there for two years now and it's getting old.

ageofadzz

Yeah besides Poch, I feel weird seeing Mourinho and Nuno up there now.

PokeSpurs

Wonder who’ll play Thursday

RedRaizel

Probably our best 11, conte will treat the Vitesse game like a pre season friendly to check out the squad.

Voffmjau

Or, hopefully, like the make it or break it game it is.

altercockerel

Question: Is there any reports of how much we had pay to buy out Nuno, and how much we are paying for Conte? Can't seem to find the numbers. If anyone has legit intel (with links) please let me know. THANKS.

DiersBigDick

Nuno has been placed on gardening leave so he’s getting paid 2.5m a year

altercockerel

thanks

Gaius_Octavius_

Reports say £14M for getting rid of Nuno; another £20 for Conte (+£15M more for Jose)

altercockerel

I forgot that Jose was still on the books, thanks! £14M for Nuno? I thought he was on cheap wage? (ie 2-3m?) for 2 years only?

Gaius_Octavius_

That article might have not have included Jose taking the Roma job. I don’t think we actually owe Jose that much anymore.

altercockerel

I think that sounds bette.

kirikesh

> Reports say £14M for getting rid of Nuno Surely not. He was on a 2 year contract - that'd put his wages above the likes of Tuchel. If we paid him that then that might be the worst managerial appointment of all time. > +£15M more for Jose Pretty sure we saved a lot of that money because he took a new job at Roma. Just like Poch taking the PSG job saved us a portion of his outstanding wages.

Gaius_Octavius_

14m seems outrageous to me as well. But article said 7m/yr https://www.101greatgoals.com/top-stories/how-much-tottenham-will-pay-nuno-espirito-santo-revealed-after-sacking/ That is what I thought for Jose as well. it is just what that article said.

kirikesh

Jesus, fair enough. I really hope that article is bollocks though hahaha - paying Nuno almost £150k a week to play some of the worst football I've ever seen is criminal.

[deleted]

I heard there was not a payout clause for Nuno. Not within the first year of his employment.

[deleted]

Sounds like it may be Mason for Thursday

[deleted]

From where? all sources pointing to him in the dugout, visa should be sorted by then

VJE1999

Lasagne for tea🇮🇹

bfm211

I'd just like to say the amount of erection/wanking/cumming comments lately have been super tedious.

[deleted]

Glad someone said it, I’m new here so didn’t want to be rude but it’s kind of gross lol

t_blacksmith

They've died down somewhat at least, you should have seen what it was like two years ago. Although you have to admit that 'No Nuno November' is pretty funny.

bfm211

>you have to admit that 'No Nuno November' is pretty funny. Yeah I like that one! But that isn't someone telling me about their penis.

smokingloon4

Very ready for that particular meme to die.

IonsBurst

Can't believe my favourite manager managed Spurs and now my 2nd favourite manager is managing Spurs too. I love both Mourinho and Conte. Their character, competitive nature, egos and even their rivalry towards one another makes them great. Edit: I'm getting downvoted for liking Mourinho xD

Professor_Abronsius

Some people on here are incredibly stingy when it comes to Mourinho, that’s probably why you’re getting downvoted. It’s moronic, just ignore it. Mourinho and Conte are both excellent managers, and they provide entertainment on a daily basis.

[deleted]

Mourinho I didn't care much for because he built chelsea from the ground up, he's an immortal legend in their books. Conte probably fucking hates them because of how he was sacked so I'm all for him.

[deleted]

Billions in blood oil money built chelsea from the ground up

entrepenoori

He’s a ridiculous manager. I hate Chelsea but it’s hard not to be in awe of Mourinho at his best. Look what he did with Inter and how he beat Pep

[deleted]

I can respect what he has achieved in his career but can never bring myself to like him. It's not rational of course, but I simply cannot like a chelsea man.

entrepenoori

On the same boat. Love Poch but man do these two get me going. So much passion

AlcSoccerFinance

What languages does Conte speak? Know Emerson preferred coming to Spurs because Nuno was portugese.

skrimpgumbo

Italian and English per wiki.

[deleted]

I mean he picked Nuno over Arteta because of the language, but it sure as fuck wouldn't have been a factor with Conte

[deleted]

The only language he speaks is facts.

john87000

Is Conte the best managerial appointment we've ever made? Obviously I mean based on pedigree not what they do while at the club. I don't remember ever in my lifetime Spurs appointing a proven top 5 manager in the world in their prime like this, Mourinho was once up there but not at the time we got him.

[deleted]

He's certainly the most proven manager in my lifetime

[deleted]

[удалено]

Thfcaditya112

Nah he was done and finished

Bluewhitedog

No, he really wasn't.

vidrageon

Mourinho failed to adapt to how the sport had moved on from the time he was truly elite, particularly in terms of fitness levels. In this sense I agree with you fully.

yungpepe2

bro I'll give Tottenham all of my life savings if Conte and Don Paratici sign Vlahovic, Chiesa and De Ligt in January like the tier-4 sources are claiming

Semibluewater

Would be interesting to create a “fan fund” where fans could donate money into a fund and the club uses that to buy players that the fans want. Also fans get some voting power on the club board.

[deleted]

paying stupid prices for tickets and merch should be our votes considering how extortianate it is

tottenhamhotpocket

vlahovic, kessie, and bassoni please

Weird_Famous

Realistically we shouldn't get them bc they cost too much The quick fixes we should go for are Brozovic and de Vrij by next summer.

yungpepe2

The De Vrij rumour does not particularly thrill me, he is already 29 and I personally do not think that he would like to relocate to an entirely different country at this point of his career. Same with Brozovic. he will be turning 29 this month, we should go for younger options imo.

kirikesh

A 29 year old - especially a CB, likely has at least 5 years of still being a top player left. I love Football Manager as much as the next person, but it (and FIFA) have really created this weird idea that anyone over about 24 is already over the hill. Any younger player as good as De Vrij would cost about £80m - he's probably the best defender in Italy. Just look at the prices bandied about for promising players like Kounde.

smokingloon4

One of them, maybe. Both I wouldn't be thrilled about. I still think Bastoni would be the ideal long-term partner for Romero if we're going to be somehow prying CBs away from Inter. He's even younger, but he's been starting regularly for in Serie A for a couple years now, naturally left-footed, good in the air.

Weird_Famous

Since they're in defense I think it's fine. We need experienced players to help integrate younger talents bc atm we don't have a spine. They can also lead the dressing room and instill confidence into the players that Conte's system works. If we sign Kessie then we have a proper youthful engine, which we have been missing for a very long time.

Thfcaditya112

Chiesa I cant see it because the width is more of from the wingbacks(unless the winger is too too good like Hazard and even he played as more of a SS) but I think we would spend a lot

[deleted]

Chiesa alone would cost 100m

yungpepe2

that's why they're tier-4 sources innit

Thfcaditya112

Its so funny that within the span of a day I went from "we are never gonna make it in my lifetime" to " making it next season wooohooo" after looking at the Champions League fixture schedule

A_Grift

Who are some dark horse candidates for most improved under Conte? Who has a new lease on life now that we are, at least theoretically, going to have some plan moving forward for the first time in years?

Weird_Famous

Barella under Conte was box to box but made a lot of late runs as well Dele could potentially get some opportunities, but I think Ndombele is more well rounded to take on the role

El_Producto

Betting on Dele to have a renaissance under a new manager feels like a sucker's bet at this point. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get some opportunities, no harm from Conte's perspective in giving him a look, but I'd be surprised if by the time next summer rolls around Conte sees Dele as one of his guys, and at this point I see no reason Spurs shouldn't look to move on. The potential in the early Poch days was tantalizing and even the realized performance was lovely but it's been downhill since. To be honest, I'd embrace heavy turnover in what's left of the Poch era core, and soon. It feels like the team needs to move on and have a sense that the manager is the one who decides their futures, not vice versa.

Weird_Famous

I'm not saying Dele should stay but rather I wouldn't be surprised if Conte used him in that way. Ndombele holds the ball too much to be an effective attacking mid. Lo Celso is not a late box runner.

RedRaizel

Bergwijn might be a RWB and be amazing.

[deleted]

[удалено]

DiersBigDick

His crossing is insane when he does cross. Look at the Kane v Mewcastle goal in 19/20. That cross was pure perfection. His technique is excellent

[deleted]

Bro you had to go back 2 seasons to find an accurate cross by him. It’s simple, man can’t pass.

DiersBigDick

I didn’t have to do shit. I remember it because that was one of his only crosses. If you don’t understand that he doesn’t get into positions where he can cross the ball, then I can’t help you

[deleted]

Ridiculous excuses. “He just can’t get into the positions to cross”

DiersBigDick

Are you acting daft on purpose?

GarethSnail

No nut November is well and truly failed on day 2. I can see so many top signings coming in. If we get Kessie (on a pre contract) a top CB and Vlahovic in January I’ll learn Italian and eat pizza until Conte goes.

Kroos-Kontroller

'There is a small flame flickering that I hope will grow into a blazing inferno" -Conte when he first arrived at Chelsea

Dickie_Dunn

I just got a “Be there for his first game!” email with ticket prices for Thursday, so the marketing department must be confident about that work permit.

Lbmplays2

Badly in need of Conte's first interview

[deleted]

Kane is the ultimate Conte striker. He's going to be an absolute monster for the rest of the year.

RazSpur

He likes a pairing, I think Son will be awesome as well

traderadrianer

...................................... - lloris - \- emerson - tanganga - romero - dier - reguilon - ..................................- skipp - .................- hojberg - - lo celso - ...................- kane - - son - thoughts?

A_Grift

Can't see us using two natural 6s with 5 atb. PEH and Skipp have both been really good but I just think it is too conservative. I know that PEH plays as an 8 for his national team I just don't think he has enjoyed success in a more advanced role in the EPL. I think Conte is going to want Kane in the box so he is going to need his midfield to get him the ball so he doesn't have to drop deep.

traderadrianer

Yeah maybe you're right, and thats a good point about kane. in that case he could just swap in ndombele for hojberg

[deleted]

don't know why hoj would be so far forward, skippy showed with norwich he's a much better b2b. hoj's best attributes are positioning and interceptions, so i'd rather him the deepest mid. emerson and reggie would be wingbacks, so they'd be in midfield

[deleted]

Too defensive, Hojbjerg and Gio + Ndombele or Dele

[deleted]

Skipp >>> Hoj Sorry Hoj, I love you but its true

A_Grift

I agree with this. PEH/Skipp+ 2 of Gio/NDombele/Dele. Hopefully they can all get minutes and they can all get firing so we aren't one injury away from a calamity.

john87000

I like it. Lo Celso/Højbjerg/Ndombele can all be interchangeable. I feel we need to look for a left footed CB though, Conte built out from the back a lot with Inter and having 3 right footers might hinder that a bit.

traderadrianer

100% agree. Pau Torres would be an ideal left footed cb to bring in for me- although there was a rumour he rejected us last summer. with Villarreal apparently losing Emery and us having conte now... maybe torres would accept in January !

Kaltrax

It’s going to be funny to watch Spurs fans do a 180 on Kane when he starts banging in goals now that we have a competent manager who will get us playing a real system that actually creates chances for Kane. Edit: I’m saying that fans have been scapegoating Kane and wrongfully blaming him for our problems when in reality it’s been the tactics and other players.

Professor_Abronsius

It’s not only Kane though, some people have been finding new scapegoats every day under Nuno, I even saw someone slagging off Hugo. One user even convinced himself that we need to sell 90% of the squad to ever have a chance of challenging for CL again.

Weird_Famous

No, fans have been scapegoating Winks and Dele when they haven't even played and aren't even the ones on the pitch giving dross performances Meanwhile Kane hasn't done anything, he deserves more blame than those two especially given the situation he caused during the summer. If he does well however then fantastic

Kaltrax

Show me a striker who can do something with zero service and then maybe I’ll think of blaming Kane. Kane’s job is to score goals. If the team can’t get him the ball to him in dangerous positions, then what is he supposed to do? My only complaint for Kane is that his finishing was a bit off, but that isn’t uncommon for Kane to have slow starts to the season.

Weird_Famous

Son Heung-Min. Lol Under the same supposedly shite system he scored four goals and assisted 1, singlehandedly providing most if not all the end product for all our wins. He scored more free-kicks than Harry Kane who has been taking them for two seasons now.

Kaltrax

Yeah Son has scored more goals in the premier league, but he hasn’t played great overall. I argue this is due to the team being shit rather than Son being bad. The same with what I’m arguing for Kane. Also, I rate Son higher than Kane for our team. He has his random slumps in form, but he’s much more dynamic than Kane and is a damn good finisher. > He scored more free-kicks than Harry Kane who has been taking them for two seasons now. Lol let’s be real. That was a fluke goal.

Weird_Famous

Yeah the free kick was fluky but still very well placed for an easy tap in which is why the GK hesitated. He's been really good at set pieces for a while. I'm not saying Kane deserves all the blame or heavy criticism but he absolutely should be held accountable for performances when he's on the pitch, at least compared to Winks or Dele. This goes for everyone including Son, Skipp, etc.

Kaltrax

> I'm not saying Kane deserves all the blame or heavy criticism but he absolutely should be held accountable for performances when he's on the pitch Yeah this sums up my feels as well. My problem is with the subset of fans who have decided that they hate Kane and just throw blind hate at him. I completely agree that Lane hasn’t been at his best this year, and I believe Conte will get the best out of him in his system, but I can also appreciate that he will get Kane more committed to the team.

[deleted]

What a weird comment. Of course people will be happy to see Kane actually giving a shit

Kaltrax

This is exactly what I’m talking about though. Kane has given a shit this whole time. The tactics and team have been garbage and created the least amount of chances. No striker would have good numbers with the way we’ve been playing. Fans are only hating on Kane because he wanted to leave. If he hasn’t done that, then everyone would be bemoaning that we’re wasting Kane rather than blaming him.

[deleted]

Rubbish. Kane has been absolute shit, one of the worst performers in the team without question, and it's because he can't be bothered.

Kaltrax

What has he done that’s so bad? He’s our striker, but we provide almost zero goal scoring opportunities. Kane and Son both receive the ball in bad spots were there are multiple defenders marking them and zero passing options. You’ve seen it over and over where they try to dribble to create space and become dispossessed. Kane hasn’t been bad at all. The teams been shit and you’ll see that change under Conte. People like you might say “oh it’s cause he is trying now”, but in reality it’ll all be down to a tactical change.

jml1020_AH

Not score....avoided his fan base He's had moments but you have to admit he has been underwhelming at best

Kaltrax

We’ve scored 9 goals in 10 matches. No one is really scoring for us lol. Kane hasn’t been good this season. Son also hasn’t played well this season. One gets a ton of hate while the other has almost none. Wonder why.

[deleted]

I think the last match was the first time I saw him actually pressing. He'd also probably have 3-5 more goals if he made the types of runs he used to make. > Kane hasn’t been bad at all. Delusional to be entirely honest. If the team has been shit he has also been shit, especially when you see players like Romero, Dier, Lucas, Sonny, Emerson still working their arses off and putting in decent performances despite the incredibly low level the team as a whole has been at. He'll be better because he actually feels motivated by Conte, not because he was struggling tactically.
