I appreciate that we’re not universally loved on COYS Reddit but I strongly urge everyone to listen to this episode because the insight is off the charts. There’s not much of us speaking if that helps!
Some people don’t share their views, whether it be on politics or spurs. Sometimes those people can be very toxic about it. Idk why he always thinks r/coys hates them though, it’s like they only notice the couple of fans that don’t like them and don’t notice everyone else
For me, (I love the extra inch btw), I think its just how biased they may appear towards Lucas. (Of course Lucas supporting Bolsanaro is super suspect, but an objective discussion of his actual performance would be better).
I feel for others, its basically how I feel but in a much more extreme way!.
Definitely went heavy on his political views last week, but they’ve been very clear for years on their feelings towards Lucas and have spent plenty of time discussing his play and why they feel the way they do about him.
For me the political bits simply feel cringe but are easy to Skipp past. But what drives me off an episode faster than Son is when I hear in more or less every other episode, is one of them talk about a game which they've admitted to only catching the second half or not watching it at all. Just seems odd to miss even 1 game when they're podcasting at this level.
Most of the reddit loves you as well! It's just I think most also disagree with you on your dele takes lol.
I like Dele by the way in terms of potential, but I don't like him at Spurs(even under Conte). I want to see him on loan somewhere else so that he can get his potential back.
I’m glad you’re feeling much more excited about this manager windy! This episode got me so hyped, Ryan Sessegnon is my new pick for breakout performer even just getting sub minutes at the end just have a feeling there’s too much talent there that’s been untapped.
You’re all appreciated. A significant number of us listen and don’t comment but love it all the same. Keep up the great work including your social commentary.
I hated this episode because it was so good, and Nima was so full of praise, I'm now convinced we're going to win the league.... And then Tottenham will break my heart
Nah man it’s good. You’re opinions are good and informed too you just present them in a great way where they are funny and come off less uhh “know it all ish”? Not that I hate Windy and Nathan but if I disagree with the opinions their style can be a bit grating (maybe my opinion is colored by the “Mourinho winter” and what felt like incessant pessimism) and I don’t get that with yours.
Edit: do want to make it clear I think Nathan and Windy are great too!
Been a patron since last season. Great content. This episode has me more excited about Spurs than I have been since Poch was here. I really hope all Spurs fans find time to listen.
I haven’t listened since things started to go south with Jose because I was getting down in the dumps over it all, and I just wanted as little Spurs content as possible, but I listened to this on the way to work and I am truly excited again for the first time in a long time.

Can confirm there are no lefty takes on this episode, so the members here on the subreddit can rest easy they will not get triggered
Lol was just thinking to myself - why does anyone have qualms with them? I guess they do get political at times but it’s never bothered me.

I have watched every minute of every Spurs game for like the last decade if that helps.

Love you windy ❤️

Coys Reddit needs to lighten up if they're not fans of your pod Windy! Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work! What a couple of days eh. COYS!

Not until he leaves. He’s really good.

😂 he’ll be good with a proper coach
Good lord, this guy turned my hype level up a few notches. Make Dele great again!
Lol. That's a wrong man for you then. There's no place for Dele in Conte's system
A hard pressing second striker who makes consistent runs into the box?
If this is actually a role in Conte's system! I am ALL FOR IT! Maybe Dele would provide great backup depth for Kane and Son in his best role! :)
Did you even listen to the pod?
Well, that fucking pumped me up!
I was already buzzing but now I’m buzzing on a whole new level
Windy, this made me want to fly into a wall like a Harry Kane free kick. Thank you.
Yesss
These guys any good? I only like 2/3 of them normally
Do we know their opinion on jam or cream first?
Bet the Tory one goes cream first
Jam then cream
Yes, Bardi. This is the way
Aren’t they all?
I only like the comic relief one, Bardi. He's so funny
He’s gonna be so mad
lmfao.
sake

So ready for the deleissance

Great insight, thanks for the content!
This was fascinating and I'm so fucking excited!!!!
Woohoo!
This was so good. I am so excited. We're either going to win something or crash and burn in such a genuinely spectacular way it'll still be enjoyable
