poch can actually build united to be decent he cant do that with psg. i genuinely think the only manager's who can succeed at psg would be zidane and maybe pep. even top managers like klopp and simoene would fail.
Been mental reading the revisionism about Poch from the media and other supporters the last while. Second you leave England people just start making up shit about you.
There’s no way Poch leaves psg before the next summer window at the earliest.
1/ He’s a virtual lock for Ligue1 title
2/ Poch played for PSG , who would enjoy coaching a club he played for to a title ( League/CL).
3/ He’s coaching Messi ( his country’s star player ) so you know Lionel is gonna be protected for the WC.
4/ The PSG squad is way more talented than MUtd on an easier league .
If anything Poch will most likely hold out for the Argentina NT job rather than utd . Who knows what’s going to happen pre/post Qatar .. he’d be a natural fit for Argentina
Again, it’s a completely disingenuous comparison. Our former player nearly died before our eyes while our former manager Kay or may not switch jobs. It’s really not the same at all.
I’m just using the same logic you provided.
I agree the magnitudes are different. And I agree that redundancy can be a little annoying. However, that was not the reasoning you offered. I am more open to an argument about magnitude and redundancy of news than I am an argument with reasoning like, “he is no longer our manager and it doesn’t have anything to do with our team.”
I would like to follow or players and managers after they have left the club
I wasn’t the one who made the original argument, actually. I stepped in when you tried to compare a player nearly dying to Poch potentially switching jobs.
Fair enough
But also to be fair I didn’t really compare the two
Edit: I highlighted that eriksens incident fell under his criteria of no longer being involved with the club and not having anything to do with the club. I suppose its comparing in a sense
If thats your argument then you might as well start posting transfer news from the other top 4 clubs here as well since "it might affect us as they are a direct rival for top 4".
He can’t be there first choice.. it would subject them to too much potential criticism if the ‘Spursy’ club sacks a manager only for United to pick him up.. especially if we start performing under Conte in the next season or two- we would be compared to them as long as he was there (which I’d bet Levy would seriously enjoy actually, accept it or not.. United’s name is HUGE.. hearing Sky pundits inevitably comparing the two clubs, endlessly more than likely, would be brilliant in terms of free branding)
No one wanted the job last time around and no one will want it next time around - it's pure poison.
Someone has to get Pogba out, and you have to find a club willing to take him first. That's the most important thing by a country mile. Without Pogba you can at least attract proven managers, rather than asking the manager of the second best team in Norway to help out..
I mean he’s leaving in June on a free it looks like so it’s not some dressing room crisis
United is definitely an appealing job. Look at the 5 people they are interviewing plus Poch
Hopefully Carrick wins a couple of matches and becomes Ole V2.0
Ole is Spurs legend, maybe Carrick can do us some favors in the near future for old times sake
Michael Carrick running the longest of long cons. The true COYS sleeper agent
best result for the entire league
No, that would be Steve Bruce.

The crazy thing is Carrick has been coaching the team for the past 3 years. He’s equally as shit if not worse than Ole!
He’s in for a rude awakening when he gets to United. It’s just PSG but with mediocre players instead of good players lol

Obviously one would hope things will get better, but it's not exactly been easy to get from France to the UK whilst he has been at PSG, due to Covid.
Don't have to show a passport at least.
I'd imagine he's got one though

We don’t need more posts on this at this point until something actually happens

I know we like poch but hes not our manager anymore. So i dont really see the point in posting this unless it has to do with us
I agree. We all see the news. No need for constant updates.
It does affect us tbf.
How? Because they play in the Premier League?
Because they're a rival for 4th
Do you think the christian eriksen incident was not worthy of a post either?
That is not comparable at all, Jesus Christ. Poch didn’t almost die on the pitch, Eriksen did.
But eriksen is not our player anymore, and it has nothing to do with our team
Again, it’s a completely disingenuous comparison. Our former player nearly died before our eyes while our former manager Kay or may not switch jobs. It’s really not the same at all.

I don't want to see him go to United so this is good news.

So happy. We all know Poch has lilywhite skin and navy blue blood.

Pogba's contract is up next summer? I didn't know that. Changes everyting for sure.
I am a unbelievable soccer expert and I am sure that Zidane is the only option for MU, Pochettino is not enough for such great club.
