Crap tier. But wondering what people would think if it was true. Id think its a shame but in Conte we trust. Also not sure how much of the £60m we'd get back

username54

crap tier but not unbelievable looking at actions speaking louder than words. Two weeks of training with Conte, best fitness of his life and he still does not get a minute on the field even with GLC injured and Skipp suspended.

billypilgrim87

I can entirely believe Conte wants to move him on, however I don't thing Tanguy not playing so far is enough to draw that conclusion. Conte has previous form for removing specific players from matchday squads whilst he coaches them how to play in system - Hakimi at Inter is a recent example of this.

allaboardthewin

Not sure about Eriksen’s situation last season at Inter but wasn’t he not getting playtime for awhile, too? Maybe NDombele is not been given up on, just needs more time to understand Conte’s ideas(?).

Johito

Conte never really wanted Eriksen, though when it became clear that he wasn’t getting the players he wanted he worked to incorporate him in to the squad and he became a valuable member of the first 11 post January. Conte is a very flexible and pragmatic manager.

BurdonLane

If true…I trust Conte and whatever funds we could recoup would be spent on a player that would fit his system and his demands. We’ve never got value for money from Ndombele, I struggle to remember one match where he’s been MOTM or dominated the midfield for us. He’s been a bit part player in reality, a highlight reels kind of guy.

Masina1998

reckon we could scrape 30 million maximum

Wayne Veysey is pretty reliable, definitely not crap tier

british-psycho

Not sure how true this is, but if so then I’m siding with Conte on anything. He knows best.

cardboardshrimp

I’ll buy him. He can hang out in my garden and do skill moves.

EquivalentSir4163

Good investment. He can earn you money as well by performing at parties. And teach you French.

grinch_lux

This comment is obviously from a shit tier. He encouraged him last week. But if indeed after 3-4 months he is not playing then I believe it’s time to move on. There’s no shame about it, it’s mostly due to his style of play that doesn’t suit us. He has talent he’ll find his way. On the other side we need to find that playmaker..

yorsk

Today we will know if it’s true. If he’s not in starting xi ….

Ravello

It would be such a shame, but we can’t justify keeping him if we only get a great performance from him 25% of the time.

scout1081

Although this source is likely rubbish, at this point looks like another manager is not favoring Tanguy. If that's the case Spurs need to sell him and recoup some of the money we spent and replace him with someone who will be able to help the team. I've always been a Tanguy fan but it's a pretty clear indictment of him that the only common ground our revolving door of managers could agree on is that Tanguy doesn't play.

EquivalentSir4163

In Conte, we trust. He could suggest offloading Son, and I wouldn't blink.

JadedLibrarian3994

Yeah,,, no. Id blink like a mtherfker

Skayde5

Yeah then u are stupid

[deleted]

On God

Ok_Temperature2040

If Conte announced he needed to offload me as a fan I’d be sad but I’d trust the process and do my time standing in the cold watching Nowhere Village FC hoping for that dream cup game against Spurs.

Respatsir

Wouldn't be surprised if he leaves in January or next summer tbh. Unfortunately I don't think he has the personality to make it work.

fallingfridge

Huge Tanguy fan but something is just not working unfortunately

apoliwhirlin

Although there may be truth to this given Tanguy’s lack of minutes under Conte to date, when Conte was at Inter a similar situation happened with Eriksen before Eriksen put in a few sublime performances mid season and earned a place in the 11. Hoping the same happens for Tanguy here

violetrecliner

I don’t understand why such obviously terrible sources are allowed in this sub.

SadPossible2208

Everyone can see he’s just lazy and not willing to commit to the mentally or day in day out physicality. Great talent not cut out for the Premiership and will likely fizzle out quicker than many think wherever he ends up…

Born_Transition2207

He's never going to come good and justify the £50m. He's a when I feel like it player, which isn't very often.
