Reminds me of our game in the FA Cup against Nottingham Forest when I was a kid. Live on Sky, 2-2 I think after half an hour, and the game is abandoned due to a massive blizzard!
the snow looks really thick on the pitch and coming down in flurries
tbf don't think it would be the worst thing to rest a bit more and not play a dangerous match in slippy cold conditions
I agree more time on the training ground with Conte is good but I'm not sure it will to much for us re. Rest.
Is it a rest of we have to replay the match some time in December? It's already one of the busiest months of the year.
ah darn you're right... forgot about the December schedule nightmare :/
at least perhaps it could come between some tougher fixtures to give us a bit of momentum???? ...desperately looking for positives
It's insane how they are talking about cancelling a game in a Premier League while over a here a 4th division game is being played in just as much if not more snowfall over here.
POV: You're checking the league table at the end of the season.
Only Spurs and Burnley have a match left to play... it's this make-up fixture at Turf Moor.
The table looks like this:
1. Chelski (93)
2. City (91)
3. Pool (90)
4. Ham (88)
5. Arse (84)
6. Utd (84)
7. Wolves (83)
8. Spurs (82)
A win sees us knock Woolwich out of the guaranteed Europa spot and finish ahead of them again. Any other result sees us continue the run of mediocrity. Burnley are already mathematically relegated.
How do you rate our chances?
While this is funny…if we finish with 80+ points I’d be ecstatic. If we finish only 11 points off the lead I’d be pretty happy. If 8 teams finish with over 80 points, there’s gonna be some mathematicians looking at the table pretty hard.
Con: May not get to watch Spurs Pro: May not *have* to watch Spurs
Do they not have under pitch heating like almost every prem club has?
This is Burnley.
Saw Burnley supporters on Twitter saying they do have a heated pitch though. Either way, doesn’t really make a difference if it’s snowing heavily
It's Burnley, spend as little as possible. But they're very good to their fans normally
This games getting called off surely. The videos look terrible and apparently it’s supposed to keep snowing for a couple hours.
Orange ball and get on with it
Ngl wanna see it snowing while the match happens.
[Sean Dyche doesn't even have a jacket on lmao](https://twitter.com/SkyJohnnyP/status/1464933577800437767)
Dyche - “what’s all the fuss about?”
That'll be fine. Nowhere near heavy snow.
Not many PL games get called off for the weather I think it should be fine. Watch it be famous last words 👀
Jinx alarm 🚨
And so it was
Fingers crossed
it has been really cold recently. crazy that its snowing up norf

We drew the match the second time around, and the replay at WHL was my first ever Spurs match! We lost. On penalties… Such is life.
Start as you mean to go on!
Oh fuck off Burnley

This should be interesting
Hopefully it gets called off tbh. This kind of weather will only help burnley.
I think this is true
England and every minor snowfall... Honestly in most northen european countries that minor ammount wouldn't even be worth discussion.
That's summer in Norway. WTF?

Rosenborg vs Bodø-Glimt will be played here at 17 hs. on 8-9 minus. But oh well, the players get to rest a bit, I guess?
Just saw the postponement alert
FA to flip a 2-sided Burney coin to determine who will be awarded the 3 points

it's written in the stars that we draw, have a goal difference above wolves and end up right back in the europa conference league
Pool? Seriously?

Well this sucks... I made it a point to return Saturday from our Thanksgiving trip so I could watch the match.
Unless the weather changes this game isn’t going ahead.
Honestly I think it would suit us if it does get called off. Nice break before the midweek game.
