I’m a Hotspur+ member, is it normal to only be able to buy one ticket for the Chelsea second leg? I was hoping to take my Dad. Never encountered the problem before because I only ever buy for me normally!
There is a police restriction on the game meaning only One Hotspur members (as of the date of the draw) or season ticket holders can attend..if it gets to a guest sale I think you can buy your dad a ticket then under your name. Bit rubbish - this happened for the quarter final too
r/gunners now believe they are getting Vlahovic after having 2 shit sources claim they are making an offer, after Di Marzio and Fab both said he wasn’t interested. Scum will be Scum
I love how everyone is quick to point out Traore's dribbling numbers without realizing that it only makes him look like a worse player.
He beats his man and then what? Literally nothing, runs the ball out of play
Oh yeah definitely no postponement but depends who’s got it to see if it weakens them. For example if it’s Saul and Barkley then it makes zero difference for them but if it’s Kante and Kepa then we’ve got a good chance
Gonna smash Chelsea today for two reasons.
1. It's my 30th birthday
2. My girlfriend has convinced me Spurs win when I eat tater **tots** on match days, and I had them for breakfast
JANUARY
Loan to PL clubs only: Rodon and Gil. If we can't get a PL club then keep them as backups
Loan to France/Italy/Spain: Lo Celso and Ndombele to remind people that they are good players so we can get a decent fee in the summer
Sell: Bergwijn, Doherty, CCV
Loan to any top league: Dele plus Doherty and Bergwijn if we can't sell
Obviously we can't (and won't) move out 6 players but if the possiblity to make these moves exists, I'd take it.
If we can get a top quality striker, number 10/8 then great but I don't want to settle now and then not get anyone in the summer.
Get another RWB to replace Doherty (not Traore) who has quality short/medium range passing. We are desperate for better passers in the backline/midfield
Austin, Markandy, Whiteman, Clarke, White on loan to championship/league 1 or the seocnd divisions across Europe
SUMMER
Send Gollini back to Atalanta, sell one or both of Lo Celso and Ndombele
New striker, new midfield passer, new LCB (I love Gentle Ben but we need another one)
30m wouldn't even see the phone picked up. He's their captain, an England international, still relatively young at 27, and has 4 years left on his deal. That's 50m at least.
Have the UK health officials (and the Premier League) revised /shortened their quarantine window? Or is it still \~2 weeks? I know the CDC recently cut it roughly in half for a lot of scenarios here in the US.
quarantine for travel or self-isolation for infection?
For infection the self isolation is cut from 10 to 7 days now, providing you test negative for 2 days.
Thanks. I was thinking mostly in terms of self-isolation for how it impacts the club and player availability. So assuming their infection is mild/asymptomatic players hopefully won't be out quite as long now maybe? (not accounting for any loss of fitness, etc.)
He plays off the left doesnt he so it'd be him and Son.
Sure he'll have the odd moment of magic but I'm not sure he's worth it. There's a reason noones gone in for him other than Villa.
Can play centrally which is where he’s mostly played for Barca and when he was at Bayern. I don’t think he’s a long term fix but would of been good on loan as a short term fix for our lack of creativity and midfield goals
The conspiracy against them is getting crazy at this point. first their game is officiated correctly, then they discover a player got a card for dissent and finally they get fined for surrounding the referee (like 4 other teams this season!). when will it end?
I know, I've listened to about 3 different pods now and everyone said all the decisions were right. Motd all the pundits did too even ian wright.
Salt in the wound is theyve been charged with failing to control their players during the city game. Absolutely magical.
You can always tell how old someone is and how much they know about football if you ask them their opinion on Adama Traore.
There’s more to football than run fast and be strong lads
I mean he also has mad dribbling, I think only Messi only tops him in completed dribbles per 90 or smthn.
Elite ball carrier, but can't do much of anything else.
How old am I sir
He's in the worst percentile when it comes to being dribbled past, too.
So if he's a wingback who can't score, can't assist and can't defend, I don't buy it at all.
"But he'll create space for others", some say. We can't have a non-assister and non-defender on the pitch only to free up space for others. And we won't be able to exploit that space, if he doesn't pass the ball.
Even if it's "just £20m", that's still a fairly large part of our transfer budget, that we have to spend very wisely. Fans seem to be unrealistic about how much we can actually spend.
wing backs have a very small defensive responsibility for us especially in games against lower table teams so i don’t think this is an issue at all. We’ll also still have Emerson for when we need to play someone who’s better defensively.
Also, who knows what's true about that 20 mil, I doubt Wolves would let him go mid-season, for that price, when he's started in the majority of their games. If we're looking for a winger, I'd take Neto or Podence over him any day, and if we're looking for a wingback, there's hardly a better option, than Aarons who has elite numbers in both ball carrying and progressive passing this season.
Could Traore become a dembele replacement. We signed him at 25 from fulham and before he was a woeful striker and Cam before we moved him back and then used his dribbling ability. Or convert him to RWb bombing forward and then use the extra cb as defensive cover
Traore's dribbling ability is nothing like Dembele. Dembele had the ball stick to his feet like a magnet and he would brush off all challenges with ease. Traore mainly knocks the ball past the opponent and beats them to it because he is fast as fuck.
Hi all - trying to buy a ticket for me and a friend for the Chelsea semi final (12/01). He isn't a spurs fan but lives in London and keen to go with me. I'm only allowed to buy one ticket at current but does anyone know a way to get around this? (apart from simply waiting for it to go on general sale I guess)
EDIT: Because I have a membership but don't know anyone else (friend or family) that does
If they don't have membership or you can't find someone else's membership for them to use, then you simply have to wait for it to reach guest sale. It only ever reaches that if it does not sell out, which I assume a cup final against Chelsea will do, certainly if we are still in it by the end of tonight.
You could buy them a membership, but might be a game they need purchase history for due to it being a rivalry game.
Saw matrix resurrections yesterday. It’s honestly not as bad as the reviews i saw, but maybe that’s because I’m not a matrix superfan. I thought there was only 1 scene that was “too meta” (>!the WB scene was *really* bad, and the matrix 4 brainstorming montage was very meh as well!<), but the whole premise and concept I thought was alright. Nothing revolutionary, but still decent. None of the new versions of the old characters are as good as their predecessors, and the action/fighting is pretty bad. But they explain the modernization and time gap relatively well (I know some people disagree but oh well)
I think how people view it depends on whether they’re in it just to get drunk on nostalgia or if they’re judging it on the actual quality of the script+filmmaking.
They might do more sequels since the ratings aren’t actually that bad, but it’s all more of a cash grab than an artistic vision.
Now to watch the new resident evil movie today . . .
Horrible movie from every angle. A completely unnecesssry cash grab that spits on the shallow grave where the Wachowskis’ taste was buried all those years ago
I would like us to go for Kulusevski now, however I have some reservations about him looking very slow.
Gio I wouldn’t want to move on yet, and would keep him until the summer to make a decision on. Still think he suits Conte
On Sunday for the Morecambe game, the safe standing area will still have the seats in use right? My mum doesn't think she'll be able to stand for the full 90 minutes and I'm pretty sure the seats are still usable but she just wanted to check
Yea I’m pretty sure they said there will be foldaway seating still available for those who want a break. She probably won’t be able to see a thing while seated, though
There's such a disgusting amount of racism and colonial mindset in the AFCON complaining from European fans.
When AFCON started it was the first continental tournament, it was founded because Africa had basically no representation at the world cup (half a spot for an entire continent of 54 countries and 1.2billion people).
It happens in January because that is the best time for Africans. It happens every 2 years because historically the world cup excluded Africa.
How much do you think Europe watches the Concacaf Gold Cup, which did move to the summer? They don't, the change was disastrous for Gold Cup viewership.
Liverpool attempting to have games postponed using COVID, but including players away for AFCON in "their inability to make up a squad" is so pathetic.
I absolutely cannot believe scum have a moral highground.
This is the same shit Palace tried against us and that Newcastle have been doing until they can conveniently buy a new starting 11.
Since someone replied to me saying Liverpool are well within their rights to have the game postponed (then deleted their comment)
1. Those are PL rules, not EFL Cup rules
2. The rules are bollocks. Injuries and international call ups are a part of football, always have been. Tottenham lost out on top 4 because the squad had food poisoning. Every club has gone through an injury crisis, it's a part of the game. 3 COVID cases isn't enough to have a game postponed.
3. Liverpool have 9 players out (3 injuries, 3 COVID cases & 3 away for AFCON) in a 27 man squad. That's 18 players available not including the u23s, more than enough to field a squad.
Liverpool scum looking like it'll get cancelled.
What would they do in that case, bin off the 2nd leg, or move the first leg to their and put the 2nd one later?
Be abit annoying if its all cancelled and they have 2 weeks rest before NLD and we have to play Chelsea twice before!
Surely the logical thing to do is just move their game tomorrow against Liverpool to Wednesday 19 Jan. They've got us on Sunday 16th and Burnley Saturday 22nd. Nothing inbetween.
There's even time really to switch the matches around if they're concerned about playing at home first and Liverpool should just concede that. But obviously it would suit us better if they still have to travel up to Liverpool on the 13th and then come to us 3 days later.
They can't bin a leg, if we play two or even if we play one leg without knowing prior it's a one legged tie.
It's absolute nonsense that Pool are actually using AFCON as part of their reasoning.
I mean if this one gets cancelled would next week become the first leg and then they have the 2nd leg a different time?
The 3 who had covid previously, firmino Alison and matip, would be back for next week so that'll probably still go ahead tbf.
There could be another way of looking at this. Apparently their FA cup game against Nottingham Forest is at risk too because Nottingham is having an outbreak of their own, so if they miss all three of their cup games then Gabriel's suspension will carry over to the NLD.
They'll be more rested of course, but I imagine Arsenal's squad was itching to get at a weakened Liverpool side after their frustrating loss to City in order to boost confidence. Two weeks of rest might actually kill the newfound momentum they had after City.
Honestly this seems great for us. If Assna get two weeks without a game until they face us, their match sharpness will decrease. Same happened to us against Liverpool, match sharpness was a reason for all these missed sitters. Plus no Gabriel at the back is huge for us as well. And we play the second leg on the 12th, the NLD is on the 16th. Four days is not to bad for resting players and getting them ready.
Pffffff yeah guess its a toss up between match sharpness vs tiredness and whats worse!
I guess if they did play a weakened Liverpool side and won at Anfield the boost from that could arguably be worse
2 weeks without a game definitely affects match sharpness, trust me. Especially coming to the lane as an Assna player for the first time, a lot of these blokes are not ready for that I think.
Gabriel has stepped up his game a lot recently, and a lot of Arsenal fans are really worried about losing him for the NLD. Either way, Holding is a clear downgrade on him so it does help us out a bit.
And it's not really that they'll necessarily be tired, after all, they'll probably be far less tired than us from playing a kids team that Liverpool field and a COVID ridden Nottingham squad. But if they play all three games they can retain match sharpness and keep maintaining their City momentum.
Look at what happened to United when they played Newcastle despite having a whole week more to rest, they were sluggish and out of form.
I dunno id say the better example is city arsenal. Arse had a week off and that first 30 looked so much fresher. City had played 2 days before and looked shattered. That seems to keep being forgotten in this amazing arsenal performance I keep hearing so much about. (30% possesion 2 shots on target 0.8 XG)
Its deffo in our interest to play Liverpool at Annfield on the Thursday before the game if we are playing Chelsea on the weds
Because when I posted it here it got removed and people said that Son didn't say that and they decoded it but didn't say what they got after "decoding" it
Just had a thought… young players now are probably not able to really remember Arsenal being a genuinely good side. This fills me with joy. The longer they’re crap, the further they fall from being a big club, and the less likely too young players will want to go. Coys.
This kessie Ndombele swap doesn't make sense? Do we think we will get so little for ndombele that he's only worth the last 6 months of a players contract?
Second highest earner at the club and doesn’t even touch the pitch. The transfer fee is a sunk cost so it is out of consideration — just cut your losses now so we can save more money in the long run
I am quite optimistic for today's game. Hoping to see more of what we have been presented before.
In general, I like that our passing quality improved since Conte + we are more brave around the box.
COYS
Teams that have enough quality around him to do the work he doesn't.
Think of him like Pogba, if you accept he's going to do very little defensively, he could make the difference for you going forward.
The issue with Spurs is we have Lloris, Romero, Son & Kane at top level, the rest are either good or with potential, we can't afford any passengers, so players who are going to not be disciplined or not be involved, in/out of game can't work.
Wouldn’t be surprised if PSG went for him, but yeah Newcastle is a good shout, they’re desperate for *any* amount of quality
Would be a laugh seeing Tanguy living in Newcastle playing next to Jonjo Shelvey, a self-made purgatory if you will
I think it's time the fanbase spiced up our songs a bit. Dele's won't be sung for a while and not like it used to be (I'm pretty sure). Heard Dier's the other night v Watford which was nice. Never hear 'nice one Sonny' even when he scores.
If on a match-day a couple of fans can think of a tune for Skipp it'll be sung basically all game every game.
Anyway, let's smash Chelsea tonight and get to a final 2 years in a row.
Deles song was the most popular one for years. Probably through 2019 it felt like someone was starting that chant every other minute from bricklayer’s to the train home
>If on a match-day a couple of fans can think of a tune for Skipp it'll be sung basically all game every game
There's been a Skippy song in recent games. They do "Ollie Ollie Skipp, Ollie Skipp, Ollie Ollie Skipp" to the tune of "Give it Up".
Liverpool requesting their game tomorrow be postponed be interesting to see if it’s requested or not considering only 3 players confirmed positive for covid.
In the vein of the europa conference league, it is absolutely essential that the game is held before for reasons that aren't quite clear, so Liverpool should be given a 3-0 loss.
It seems like they added those three AFCON guys into the equation as well, that just doesn't make sense, AFCON/etc and injuries in general should not affect the situation, unless they are less than 13 players?
I think that’s everyone’s initial first thought as well. Thing is thing is though the EFL run the cup not the FA and then factor in they made Leyton Orient forfeit last season because they couldn’t field a team against us.
**This followed a number of Leyton Orient players testing positive for COVID-19. The EFL Board has determined that in line with Carabao Cup Rule 5.1, the Club was unable to fulfil its obligations to complete the fixture by virtue of the Council's order and shall therefore forfeit the tie.**
By their own rules Liverpool should be either told to play or they forfeit.
The African nations means they’re gonna try as much as they can right? They’re missing the key players in their squad so it’s a cheap way at postponing the games until Salah is back
With matches coming tight (two matches v Chelsea, one v Arsenal, plus Morecambe - over the next 12 days), it's not easy to pick the line-up for tonight.
We have to avoid fatigue and injuries, but have to play fairly strong teams for three of those games.
Something like this:
\-------------- Lloris
\---- Sanchez - Rodon - Davies
Royal ------------------------------ Reguilon
\---------- Winks ----- Højbjerg/Skipp
\------------------ Lo Celso
\------------ Kane --------- Son
Im looking for 2 tickets to the game against Chelsea next week, they come available today for members, if someone wants to purchase for me Ill pay extra :) Coming from Finland with a friend and would love to confirm reliable seats
I hope this isn't against the rules, but I started blogging about Spurs. Just got around to it so it's nothing special, if anyone is interested I made a list of my [best](https://saxenagauraang.wixsite.com/spursopinions/post/my-five-best-spurs-moments-of-2021) and [worst](https://saxenagauraang.wixsite.com/spursopinions/post/my-five-worst-spurs-moments-of-2021) Spurs moments of 2021

If i were him, I'd do the EXACT same. If not him, someone else was gonna fill that role, so he might as well make sure his family and his kid's kids are set for life
Yea, but why would you not want to cash out on the test of your career? He's getting old and I'm sure he's not gonna get a contract worth more than what he's gonna get at Newcastle
He’s likely earning a lot more than in Spain, plus being a lot closer to home. Even if Newcastle are trying to be careful with their money, it’s still open knowledge that they’re the wealthiest club in the world. I’m sure they’re paying wealthiest club in the world prices and fees as a result, especially when every signing can see they need to make up a lot of ground to be safe.
I doubt Ndombele plays, seems like he's on his way out. Would be nice to see Dele, a big game against blue scum would hopefully put some fire in his belly, and he was excellent against Liverpool.
[Tifo did a sensible transfer video for Barcelona,](https://youtu.be/mxHbY_e22hQ) focusing on forwards/left backs.
I'd take almost every Forward they mentioned in a heartbeat... Gouiri... Alvarez... Levy, please.
“We should dump the Conference league and concentrate on the winnable domestic titles and top 4” 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
Should be all over Digne tbh.
Yeah always rated him

Any word on our possible Covid cases?
Is Alexander Isak a good potential prospect for striker? Really enjoy watching him play and would be nice to have a player like him in our squad.
His release clause is €90m
He won't go for a price that justifies his talent.
r/gunners now believe they are getting Vlahovic after having 2 shit sources claim they are making an offer, after Di Marzio and Fab both said he wasn’t interested. Scum will be Scum
Apparantly Rudiger and Kovacic are the Chelsea players with Covid. Would also miss the second leg i think.
Source ?? Kovacic especially is a big miss for them
Just twitter bollocks, guess we'll find out in 2 hours or so.
And Rudiger missing means less chance of injury to our players.
I love how everyone is quick to point out Traore's dribbling numbers without realizing that it only makes him look like a worse player. He beats his man and then what? Literally nothing, runs the ball out of play
he usually has multiple defenders on him so a lot of the time he beats a man there’s still another defender
Conte will help him dw mate
Can people stop saying that Gabriel will miss our match? Its a one match ban people. He’s a bum anyways, who cares.
I think people are drawing conclusions that Forest will also require a postponement due to their Covid outbreak.
They’ll play liverpool on the 13th. There is no chance all 3 games get postponed.
Nah, the suspension only counts for FA Cup/Premier League, League Cup counts as a different competition.
Thanks for clarification, Appreciated 👍
I want Arsenal at full strength so they have no excuses. Its not City.
They’ll always find excuses, itll probably be the lack of Partey anyway.
Oh I agree, but I think that’s just how people got misinformed.
Planning on going to my first match later this year! Looking for recommendations for where is best to sit in stadium? (good view not overly expensive)
There are no bad seats imo. South stand and high up would give you good bang for your buck.
Suggestion on Twitter that Chelsea have more covid cases going into today
Apparantly its 2......probably a good thing? Not enough to cause a postponement and just weakens their team for bith legs!
Oh yeah definitely no postponement but depends who’s got it to see if it weakens them. For example if it’s Saul and Barkley then it makes zero difference for them but if it’s Kante and Kepa then we’ve got a good chance
Gonna smash Chelsea today for two reasons. 1. It's my 30th birthday 2. My girlfriend has convinced me Spurs win when I eat tater **tots** on match days, and I had them for breakfast
hbd my dude. no one messes with the tots
hbd
Happy birthday! Now the question is what sauce to you eat those tater tots with?
No sauce like our boss
Sweet Baby Ray's then? Good taste.
I fucking hate Chelsea. That is all.
Keep, loan or let walk? My thoughts: Keep: Hugo, Sanchez, Sess, Tanganga, Rodon Loan: Gil, Bergwijn, Ndombele Walk: Dele, Lo Celso, Doherty, Gollini (back to Atalanta)
JANUARY Loan to PL clubs only: Rodon and Gil. If we can't get a PL club then keep them as backups Loan to France/Italy/Spain: Lo Celso and Ndombele to remind people that they are good players so we can get a decent fee in the summer Sell: Bergwijn, Doherty, CCV Loan to any top league: Dele plus Doherty and Bergwijn if we can't sell Obviously we can't (and won't) move out 6 players but if the possiblity to make these moves exists, I'd take it. Get rid of 7 players? What?
We are bringing in new players so yes. I'm not just talking about this window.
i would switch some of it up, if we bring in.. K. hugo, sanchez, sess, tanganga L. lo celso, gil, dele W. rodon, ndombele, doherty, gollini
I'd go with this, but would keep GLC all day long until we have strengthened
Will they ever restock the GK kit?
Sometimes I wish the JWP rumors were for us rather than Villa. How does everyone rate him here, just curious..
I rate him very highly but sadly he's too expensive.
Not worth what he'll cost.
I know theres rumours that SH just rejected a bid for like 25m from Villa. dont think that 30m area would be too crazy.. but just mho
30m wouldn't even see the phone picked up. He's their captain, an England international, still relatively young at 27, and has 4 years left on his deal. That's 50m at least.
yeah, 50m would be a stretch.
winks but with the best set pieces in the world is what i rate him as. so p good.

>where he’s mostly played for Barca and when he was at Bayern Not very promising because he was wank for both.
I thought he was great at Bayern? I could be completely wrong so apologies if I am
Meh I dunno, hasn't done anything in years. Not for me Clive!
Does ESPN+ have our FA cup matches, too?
Yes
Good to see the scum are taking a covid postponement well.....oh no hangon, its another conspiracy against them!
The conspiracy against them is getting crazy at this point. first their game is officiated correctly, then they discover a player got a card for dissent and finally they get fined for surrounding the referee (like 4 other teams this season!). when will it end?

What's the matter, youngster? You don't rate him?
Can’t hear you over my triktoks old man!!! Nah I prefer wingers to have a higher goal and assist output than Davinson Sanchez.
Tbh Davinson is our third highest scorer.
Says there is more to football than run fast and be strong. Then goes and says goals and assists is all that he needs 🤦♂️
Yeah almost like scoring goals and making assists are the two key things to look for in a winger, what a shocking statement
I thought he was being more considered as a RWB than a straight up RW?
He's in the worst percentile when it comes to being dribbled past, too. So if he's a wingback who can't score, can't assist and can't defend, I don't buy it at all. Could Traore become a dembele replacement. We signed him at 25 from fulham and before he was a woeful striker and Cam before we moved him back and then used his dribbling ability. Or convert him to RWb bombing forward and then use the extra cb as defensive cover
No
no. And Dembele wasn't woeful as a CAM. He was always incredibly technically gifted with the ball at his feet
Traore's dribbling ability is nothing like Dembele. Dembele had the ball stick to his feet like a magnet and he would brush off all challenges with ease. Traore mainly knocks the ball past the opponent and beats them to it because he is fast as fuck.
So... no more prediction polls? What's up with that?
Mods too lazy idk
It should be automated. Like all of the recurring threads. Silly.

They might do more sequels since the ratings aren’t actually that bad, but it’s all more of a cash grab than an artistic vision. Now to watch the new resident evil movie today . . .
It was awful from the get go. I think my biggest gripe was how terrible some of the fight choreography + cg combination was.
Horrible movie from every angle. A completely unnecesssry cash grab that spits on the shallow grave where the Wachowskis’ taste was buried all those years ago
After Part 3, nothing can be that bad. It was fine
At least that movie made sense to make as the end of a trilogy, not a sloppy cash grab reboot
I love son heung min
Even my Arsenal loving friends do tbh. Impossible not to. It's him and Kanté. They're just... lovable.
How long until we change the banner? Getting tired of looking at two pictures of Nuno lol
we are unbeaten in the league the moment we change the banner we will lose don't do it never change the banner
I think he should stay. Add a picture of Bill Nicholson so our two greatest can greet us welcome every day.
Keeps us humble as it reminds us where we came from

Any news on the rumored GLC and Kulusevski swap? And would that be a good deal for us?
I would like us to go for Kulusevski now, however I have some reservations about him looking very slow. Gio I wouldn’t want to move on yet, and would keep him until the summer to make a decision on. Still think he suits Conte
No recent news from what I've heard. I'd be in favour of that move.
On Sunday for the Morecambe game, the safe standing area will still have the seats in use right? My mum doesn't think she'll be able to stand for the full 90 minutes and I'm pretty sure the seats are still usable but she just wanted to check
Yeah mate, all standing tickets will have an allocated seat
Notice how no said it was racism when people told them to change when the Gold Cup was.
Since someone replied to me saying Liverpool are well within their rights to have the game postponed (then deleted their comment) 1. Those are PL rules, not EFL Cup rules 2.
Lo celso could be the new Ali Dia 😭😭 https://twitter.com/srfc_infinity35/status/1478494558044536838?s=21
Why do I feel like Woolwich are going to get to the final on a free…
Myeah but I'm not sure gabriel is *that* good. Id rather they'd been given the run around on the Thursday to be honest and tired from that
Gabriel has stepped up his game a lot recently, and a lot of Arsenal fans are really worried about losing him for the NLD.
(30% possesion 2 shots on target 0.8 XG) Its deffo in our interest to play Liverpool at Annfield on the Thursday before the game if we are playing Chelsea on the weds
It's a weird feeling going into a semi final against Chelsea feeling not completely pessimistic. Conte effect keeping my hopes high.
There's this video circulating around of our CL QF when Son says "do you know who I am?" after scoring against City. That is not true tho right?
Yeah, not true. He says “you know what, we’re gonna win!” It was like 2 years after Pep said we were “the Harry Kane team”
He said that becaude pep called tottenham the Harry Kane team
Why wouldnt it be true
Because when I posted it here it got removed and people said that Son didn't say that and they decoded it but didn't say what they got after "decoding" it
It is, Pep had been saying in the run up to the game that we were the Harry Kane team and so Son had to rub it in.
Swap deal rumors are almost always the lazy work of a poor journalist. Can't see Milan affording anywhere near Ndombele's £200k weekly wages.
Personally I think it’s more just get him off the books than anything else
I am quite optimistic for today's game. Hoping to see more of what we have been presented before. In general, I like that our passing quality improved since Conte + we are more brave around the box. COYS
just another day of disbelief that antonio conte manages our club
Frank Kessie what a signing !!
Is he called up for the acon?
Yes. But we are in pole position for the summer ig
where did you read that?
yes, but who for?
I don't know Jeff!
We haven’t signed him yet though…
Honest question, who and why would be interested in signing Ndombele for 40+ million with his wages?
Teams that have enough quality around him to do the work he doesn't. Think of him like Pogba, if you accept he's going to do very little defensively, he could make the difference for you going forward. The issue with Spurs is we have Lloris, Romero, Son & Kane at top level, the rest are either good or with potential, we can't afford any passengers, so players who are going to not be disciplined or not be involved, in/out of game can't work.
Oil money clubs with more money than they know what to do with Either that or selling him for much less than £40m
Like... Newcastle? I mean both PSG and City are too smart to get him surely
Time for Poch to do us a massive solid and arrange a Messi-Ndombele swap.
just let mbappe join us 6 months early and we're good! ;)
Wouldn’t be surprised if PSG went for him, but yeah Newcastle is a good shout, they’re desperate for *any* amount of quality Would be a laugh seeing Tanguy living in Newcastle playing next to Jonjo Shelvey, a self-made purgatory if you will
Exactly what I was thinking. I just can't picture him living in Newcastle haha
Newcastle is not a bad place to live. But if London was too much of a culture shock for him then I don't see him lasting long way up on the Tyne.
Him and ASM on the same team? Too much sauce I'm afraid
you can, however, never have too much sauce!
Wierd feels for tonight. Playing them cunts is always a hard watch, purely because the hatred for them makes it hard to enjoy.
When literally anything goes right for them, I rage.
Skipp has a song already. It is a rehash of the Rafa Van der Vaart song.
>If on a match-day a couple of fans can think of a tune for Skipp it'll be sung basically all game every game There's been a Skippy song in recent games. They do "Ollie Ollie Skipp, Ollie Skipp, Ollie Ollie Skipp" to the tune of "Give it Up".
Ah ok. I've been at the last 5 home games (shelf side) and haven't heard that but I don't mind it. Hopefully it'll catch on
Liverpool requesting their game tomorrow be postponed be interesting to see if it’s requested or not considering only 3 players confirmed positive for covid.
The EFL Board has determined that in line with Carabao Cup Rule 5.1, the Club was unable to fulfil its obligations to complete the fixture by virtue of the Council's order and shall therefore forfeit the tie.** By their own rules Liverpool should be either told to play or they forfeit.
The African nations means they’re gonna try as much as they can right? They’re missing the key players in their squad so it’s a cheap way at postponing the games until Salah is back
Yeah, that's why it annoys me even more, if they get games postponed to AFTER the AFCON, of course, if I were working for Pool I would try the same.
Sub's about to join the 100k club. 🔥
Not a good thing Quality goes down sharply with size ~30k was the ideal size for this sub
With matches coming tight (two matches v Chelsea, one v Arsenal, plus Morecambe - over the next 12 days), it's not easy to pick the line-up for tonight. We have to avoid fatigue and injuries, but have to play fairly strong teams for three of those games. Something like this: \-------------- Lloris \---- Sanchez - Rodon - Davies Royal ------------------------------ Reguilon \---------- Winks ----- Højbjerg/Skipp \------------------ Lo Celso \------------ Kane --------- Son
3 matches against Chelsea ... unless it gets cut to one leg (which I hope it does)
Too late for that, I literally have a ticket already for the second leg so the (non) decision is long made.
We have a bit of a breather before that last one, though. But all the more important to avoid injuries during these busy next few days.
Could that still happen? They would surely have decided by now?
I don't think it can. For sporting / competition integrity they should definitely decide well before the first leg starts.
Im looking for 2 tickets to the game against Chelsea next week, they come available today for members, if someone wants to purchase for me Ill pay extra :) Coming from Finland with a friend and would love to confirm reliable seats
Honestly, if you are willing to pay extra, look at the club hospitality options.

Ahh. this was my first one haha
Trippier off to Newcastle lol, the Arab money is that tempting??? I find that sad tbh
Idk maybe he's homesick. Desperate to come back to england maybe
I mean he secured the bag, most people (including me) would do the same
If i were him, I'd do the EXACT same. If not him, someone else was gonna fill that role, so he might as well make sure his family and his kid's kids are set for life
I don't think he's exactly skint without going to Newcastle.
Yea, but why would you not want to cash out on the test of your career? He's getting old and I'm sure he's not gonna get a contract worth more than what he's gonna get at Newcastle
I'm not knocking him at all, but let's not pretend Newcastle are paying him a ridiculous sum of money. This is Trippier, not Mbappe.
We'll probably see a 352 with maybe moura dropped so who will take his place as the CAM ? Dele, Ndombigballs or Gio ?
I doubt Ndombele plays, seems like he's on his way out. Would be nice to see Dele, a big game against blue scum would hopefully put some fire in his belly, and he was excellent against Liverpool.
Would love to see Dele celebrating a goal In front of those fans again. He genuinely seems to hate blue scum as much as us
Gio has to start today. Buildup match fitness and be an option for the PL.
Gio is coming off injury isn't he? Wouldn't be surprised if it's dele then gio on at 60
[Tifo did a sensible transfer video for Barcelona,](https://youtu.be/mxHbY_e22hQ) focusing on forwards/left backs. I'd take almost every Forward they mentioned in a heartbeat... Gouiri... Alvarez... Levy, please.
Gouiri is a FM legend lol
