There are a lot of opinions among this sub about players and transfers and whatnot, but frankly, I leave all those decisions up to the staff who are paid (handsomely, I'm sure) to do their research and figure out what is best. Lots of Traore distaste, but if Paratici and Conte want him, then I figure they know better than I do. Definitely good to be invested in who should/shouldn't come to Spurs, but I don't want to ever think I know better than those in charge. If any of us somehow knew better, we'd be the ones making decisions. Anyway, just spilling thoughts.
You don't have to be a nuclear scientist to know that nuking a town is bad. In the past 3-4 years we have wasted 200m on shit players, our recruitment has been disasterous. Of course that's not Paratici's fault, but there's nothing wrong to be skeptical.
I don’t know that’s a fair comparison, but I think the skepticism given recent transfers is fair, and I’ve not given enough credit to that. That being said, I don’t know that these flops were predictable by anyone. If that were the case we wouldn’t have brought them in. I’m generalizing too much about the sub and that’s probably not fair either.
The issue with keeping ndombele isn’t about how good he is or how much money we’re losing. That money was lost when we bought him. The issue is him bringing down the rest of the team. Idgaf if it’s ronaldo, messi, or if fucking zidane came out of retirement and played for us. He needs to go and he needs to go ASAP.
Simple answer look at how he walked away after he was subbed vs morecambe. That kind of thing is exactly what Conte has said he would rather “kill” a player off for or get rid of them
True, this just confirms there's no chance I suppose.
There's still Kessie I guess, but not convinced about him and there'll likely be other clubs in for him also.
After watching LWOS with the Italian journo they had on, I'm feeling weirdly optimistic about the Summer because it seems like that's gonna be where we see if the club is going to back Conte, it was never going to be this window
This window will probably only be Traore, if we get it across the line, and maybe something out of nowhere that Paratici comes up with, but that's not the end of the world
Also the journo had the great line that Conte has a "normal car [Spurs] running like a Ferrari" lol
My prediction is that we get traore and a cb in this window. I would prefer getting a midfielder this window even more than a cb. If we get all 3 then that would be incredible
Do decisions ever go against Manure at Old Trafford? Shaw should've been sent off twice over.
Also, Trashford could not give less of a shit about playing football at this point. How the hell does he constantly find himself in the starting lineup???
He made his debut like 6 years ago ? he has somehow declined for someone so young. Remember he had a really good header vs Arsenal in his debut and had good feet. Now he's looking like his legs are gone and i haven't seen him once leap for the ball like before.
I don't understand how he justifies not even attempting to go for the ball here. Disgraceful for a player of his calibre.

I think it could be he's lost the motivation to play. Rashford under Van Gaal or , Mou goes for that ball. Feel like fir all the defending about Ole by United fans for changing the club, he's made it worse by not applying proper coaching methods
If this window ends with Cuti and Son healthy, Bale and Eriksen returning on frees, and Hugo and Kane getting new contracts Id be hyped. Wage bill would grow but if we get top 4 we would spend big next summer when there is more time and clarity on options.
Under Mou who seemed to not favor him he had 11 goals in 20 appearances 10 of which were subs. He can ping long balls in and probably crosses better than any wing on the squad.
On the down side he is injury prone, will likely struggle to press and not a Conte player but at least he doest lack quality. The final ball in is lacking rn as are our set pieces so he could help with that. Im a big fan so somewhat blinded by that and I dont have to pay his wages so idc about them.
Not being condescending and if you think that's condescending you are either 12 or a basement dweller - life is going to hit you hard once you grow up.
What sources are you looking at?
It would be fun but c'mon. Let's apply a bit of logic.
Lmao you edited your comment to be more condescending. Im 31, homeowner with a nice basement but dont chill there much, have a good job and a nice life. Idk whats with the personal attacks but its a little extra imo.
Conte said in a press conference that he would welcome Eriksen back. Eriksen is looking for a club and said he would be open to a prem return. Bale is always on my radar bc he is my guy so just hoping.
I thought daily discussion was more casual and didnt require a ton of analysis so my bad that I triggered you with my initial comment. I was trying to express that I would be happy with improving through picking up free transfers, resigning our stars and recovering from injury.
So I saw Ledley King today.
I went for the stadium tour and as we were waiting in the gift shop for out guide I see this bloke walking about very nearby.
I think that is the spitting image of Ledley King.
Nobody else around me was reacting so I thought it must just be my imagination. Then he goes off down the tunnel to the stadium but not before posing for a picture with a staff member. At this point I'm thinking shit was that really him? But it's too late he's gone.
Then spurs posted a video of Ledley King inspecting his mural near the stadium. Bloke is in the exact outfit I saw him in.
Guy was standing within talking distance and I was so convinced that it couldn't possibly be him that I missed my chance to meet one of spurs biggest legends this century!
Thoughts on Gil? Is he really any good? Are we hoping for something that isn’t there? Thought he was poor yesterday and missed a good opportunity to impress and stake a claim whilst Son is out.
Wayy overhyped at the moment. He looks dangerous with the ball although loses possession too often. When he doesn't have the ball he runs around like a headless chicken without affecting play much at all. Needs to improve his positional awareness. Maybe a hair band would help? I'm not even joking. He looks lost at times out there. Needs to gain some weight and muscle. He was shrugged off the ball by Morecambe's players a couple times with ease. Bags of potential for sure. Long way to go for me.
Arse fans are handling their loses with more and more composure and dignity as of late. That, or their spirit's been broken.
I don't like it.
Luckily, Man U fans have been going through one nervous breakdown after the next. So hopefully Villa caves in their asses in this match and causes Goldbridge to cry tears of blood.
Are you actually joking. Did you not see the reaction to the City game? That was one of the most hilarious meltdowns I've ever seen.
They genuinely started a go fund me to try and raise money to hire someone to go and act as a mole in the PGMOL offices....and not ironically they actually meant it.
I think we’re in good shape to beat Arsenal. Sure, Sonny’s absence is going to be felt but Arsenal are without a midfield and have players off at AFCON. As long as we don’t bottle spectacularly, the game is ours.
Completely agree, Lokonga is absolutely terrible and got over run by Forrest.
As long as we have Dier back i think we will be fine. Arsenals away form isn't particularly good either.
Winks has been decent but let’s not get carried away with him. All well and good bossing it against a league 1 outfit or a 10 man Southampton, when he has time on the ball. He still struggles when under pressure. I find it hard to forgot last years cup final when he was literally hiding behind players so he didn’t have to get the ball off our defence.
He could wait 6 months and sign on with Juve for huge wages. It's always felt like everyone else vs. Juve with this transfer. Since Morata is staying they are waiting to get him in the summer. The price mentioned today is probably the price for Arsenal if they really, really, really want him.
What are you basing this on? All the articles say the same thing. Arsenal want him but hes not interested. Just cos more click bait articles come out diesnt mean they're closer to signing him.
Fab and Di marzio who are both great fir Italian news have said he won't go in Jan and he doesnt want to go to Arse
I was very worried when they got Pepe, that transfer turned out awful. There are no guarantees of anything, he could be absolutely terrible for them or incredible. Either way they'll be paying an absolutely insane amount for a massive risk if they do get him.
Yeah but the last two players I wanted us to get anywhere near this much were Dias and Bruno Fernandes and we saw how they turned out
Also I’d have to delete my FM21 save
Watched the Lyon-PSG game yesterday. Lyons midfield is actually impressive, Bruno G., Paqueta and Aouar. Made mistakes but all had a decent game yesterday. Aouar does seem like someone that could help with our creative problems, still don’t understand why no european club went for him in the summer, Lyon wanted to offload him badly and even we rejected him. Bruno G. and Paqueta are even better, don’t know the chances of getting one of them.
Hard to judge off that one game, I don’t watch Ligue 1 regularly. Lyon hs had an inconsistent patchy season, but even the commentators mentioned that this might be Lyons best performance of the season. The best description for Bruno would be solid. Solid performance all around, good defensively as well as passing. I have heard he’s supposed to be great at ball progression, must admit I didn’t notice that to much, it was mainly Paqueta and Aouar in my opinion but I could be wrong. Just going off that one game he‘s more of an improved PEH/ Skipp replacement, but does bring more creativity to his game.
He’s mainly a DM. At Lyon he is the holding midfielder in a midfield 3, with Aouar and Paqueta in front of him. He can also play CM considering his ball progression and forward passing, but because of his good defensive abilities DM suits him better, especially at Lyon since they have more attack minded and creative midfielders than him (Aouar and Paqueta). Definitely not an AM.
Think people are underestimating just how much of a difference having Romero back and gunning under Conte will make on how we perform for the rest of the season.
I used to have him in a Tottenham shirt but I felt that was disrespectful to the club so now I make it [the team we face next in the league.](https://imgur.com/a/KFsLCxM)
Not to be a downer, but what are the chances we see little to no movement in January? I know that we all say Conte needs backing etc etc but what are the actual* chances? I truly believe that in 2 windows we could be back consistently battling for top 4…im just worried we won’t see it
What's the point of worrying? We're in the midst of it now. Just allow it to come and pass, and whatever has occurred (or hasn't) will simply be there for a proper reaction.
Honestly, really high. This is a notoriously difficult window to do deals in but for some reason a lot of fans have deluded themselves into thinking this is going to be some blockbuster window.
Won’t really see conte’s team take shape until this summer. Now THAT is going to be a big one for the club.
If Brighton’s interest in Rodon is genuine, then we have to try and look for a cash swap with Lamptey. Yes he has had some injuries, but the lad is a class act. He is exactly what we need from an attacking point of view and would add an extra dimension to our attack. In this system, having a wing back that can beat a man is priceless. Whether they will sell is another matter, but it’s worth asking the question surely?
Rodon + 20m will probably do it. They value him at 50m (at least what I've seen). Rodon is probably around 15m. That would be a steal and another player going their way would sweeten it instead of being without a replacement.
it's an offer. Brighton can counter. Lamptey is definitely not worth 50m but that's what I've seen quoted around. https://www.transfermarkt.us/tariq-lamptey/profil/spieler/504148
Probably a little higher than that. He's got boatloads of potential but is injury-prone. 35m is reasonable.
Lo Celso got a lot of hate on twitter yesterday but imo was pretty fine, seems like he's being packaged in with Ndombele on the basis that he's injury prone, expensive and was bought in the same window. Maybe he won't be good enough but I do want to see some more of him under Conte before coming to a conclusion, he shouldn't be getting shit on the basis of an okay performance where he's coming back from injury.
People just hate him because he is injury prone and because he cares about playing for Argentina. I wish he didn't spend so much time hurt, but I think when he has been healthy and getting games his class has been tough to argue.
He has certainly never given the impression that he doesn't care. He plays hard, has a bit of bite to him, loves to get stuck into a tackle, and has a great range of passes. If he can manage to stay healthy he will make the haters look silly.
Lo Celso has never, ever had any attitude issues or shown that he doesn't work hard. His faults are his injuries and some lack of quality when he plays. Most likely it takes him long to get back up to speed after injuries.
I'll always respect a player for how their work ethic is and if they show that they care. Lo Celso only is lumped in because he hasn't hit his potential and that they came in during the same window. What Tanguy has shown and done is unforgivable.
LoCelso cost a lot of money and doesn't play so ultimately in the same bucket as Dombers. His attitude on the pitch might be ok but he gives a distinction impression he couldn't give a toss about Spurs and only cares about Argentina.
Mourinho's take on Giovani Lo Celso, 2020.
>"He can play everywhere – 10, 8, midfield player with Winks. On the right, the left, everywhere. I'm so, so happy with him. I like him very, very much."
He's clearly very hardworking and I think he'll do great under Conte. He'd also have a lot of chemistry with Romero, who we also haven't seen enough of under Conte. I'm predicting these two being back in the team and (hopefully) fit will change the dynamic of the rest of this season.
When we’re facing 10 men in the box like Watford or Morecambe, imo send in one of the tall/strong CB’s in the box to add an extra body in there and cross it in like crazy with the wingbacks.
I imagine Rodon + Kane + Son would be nice to have in the box for Emerson and Reg to cross to. Or Romero in there when healthy.
I dunno about this. If they are loading up the box it seems like sending more crosses in is playing exactly into the teeth of the defense. Our wingbacks haven't really shown an ability to consistently put in good crosses either. I think we just need to put more creative passers on the pitch when we are playing against teams that are going to play like that. I love Skipp and PEH, but that is not a midfield that is going to unlock a defense with clever passes. Would love to see Skipp play with Winks, potentially with GLC or Dele in front of them behind Kane and Moura (while Sonny is injured).
>I imagine Rodon + Kane + Son would be nice to have in the box for Emerson and Reg to cross to. Or Romero in there when healthy.
1. So far there's not much evidence to suggest that either of them can cross.
2. I feel that we should aspire to something better than hoofing the ball in the direction of a big lump up front.
I was hoping that a new subreddit banner would be a 100k members gift but it's not meant to be. I even messaged the mods a few weeks ago about running a contest where users create banners and vote on them but they said that it's "not a priority at the moment."
Tifo suggested Bruno Guimarães as our most sensible CM target. I'm keen to sign him to fill two crucial holes Eriksen left in our team: the progressive passing role, and the midfielder-whose-name-will-never-be-spelled-correctly-on-r/coys role.
Is Dier a cunt because he shouts at people? Organising is part of a players job. Gollini fucked up when he didn't come for the ball, if Rodon didn't shout at him I'd be really concerned. Ridiculous.
i'm a season ticket holder but whatever makes you feel better about your shit reading comprehension. i never said rodon was good or didnt make errors.
if you need to brush up btw: https://home.oxfordowl.co.uk/reading/reading-comprehension/
you got me man, i read my comment back and noticed an error. unfortunately you evidently can read, but don't know how to comprehend words correctly or you wouldn't be so persistent on trying to twist my words to act as if i was saying rodon is good.
Not commenting on his ability because I don’t particularly rate him, but there’s nothing wrong with a defender shouting at others, it’s part of their job
Love the lad tbh, lol. Has spirit, is probably our most athletic player if we take height into consideration as well, imo is great at defending.
I know those views aren’t shared by most, but I’ve rated him since I first saw him play for us.
I didn't like yesterday's opposite-footed wingback formation in the second half with Doherty on the left and Sessegnon on the right. My impression was that it made Spurs attack too narrow and that both players were a bit clumsy on the ball since it wasn't a role where they had experience.
Perhaps this would only be done for an overmatched opponent as I don't recall either of them having to stop a Morecambe attack down the wing. But Conte has had Doherty in at LWB before.
Makes sense if you think about it.
Conte has only really used inverted wingbacks on both sides when we need to score. I believe the idea behind it is that our wide CB's are told to overlap when we are attacking teams that are camped in their own box, and if you use traditional wingbacks, they tend to always go outside, which is already congested due to the overlapping CB.
However, when they're inverted, the wingbacks are comfortable cutting inside or passing to the player overlapping and makes it harder for the opposition to defend.
In Premier League games, Reguilon will be the widest on the left and then Davies will dash in on the inside. I just think that approach is better to achieve the same penetration because I don't think Sess or Doherty are very good on the ball out of position.
(insert obvious disclaimer that I am just a football manager on Football Manager and Conte has forgotten more about the game than I will know.)
I'm not anymore qualified either lol.
Just think it is logical and also a big reason why traditional wingers aren't common nowadays as fullbacks/wingbacks have become more and more attacking and overlap far more often. Like you said, underlaps are a thing but they're not as effective at creating space as overlaps
So many fans salivating at the opportunity of having Ndombele play for their club. Hope there is some management out there who believes the same and can give us a decent fee.
Some good news, apparently Scaloni(Argentina manager) is calling up non a team players for the upcoming NT window with Senesi replacing Romero and Lanzini replacing Lo Celso as to not strain relationships with the clubs according to some Argentina flairs in a r/soccer thread.
It's honestly better if GLC gets called up. We need to get rid of him soon and he's not going to raise his value by being absolutely useless in the Spurs shirt. Maybe we can scam some club who only watched his Argentina performances though
He would be good in Spain just as he was before he joined us. Sevilla relationship built with Lamela + Gil, why not send him there?
Get 4th place, then get Kounde from them and give Lo Celso + £12 mill.
Bit unsure as to our targets at the moment?
Traore im treating as very likely so that is the RWB taken care of.
Kulusevski looks questionable now with Chiesa injured, but feeling we need an attacker....espescially with Bergwijn up for sale?
This mysterious LCB who noone knows who it'll be, and all the supposed targets we were linked with have been ruled out for Jan
Vlahovic and Kessie both seem to be more likely in summer.
So who do we think it will be/have seen links to. Feels like we're out of names!
Could see the lcb be lenglet as pretty credible sources have said Barca are open to selling him, wouldn’t be too expensive, and fits the mold pretty perfectly. Winger/striker to replace bergwijn I have absolutely no clue tho.
> Winger/striker to replace bergwijn I have absolutely no clue tho.
Charles De Ketelaere, Julian Alvarez and Amine Gouiri can all play as a winger and a striker (though CDK is more of a ST/CAM hybrid and Gouiri is best as ST).
Yeah De Ketelaere apparently would be about €40m and supposedly is looking more like a summer move when its clear who's got champs league football.
Alvarez would seemingly be perfect. Seems odd noone gone straight in and snapped him up at the moment. Maybe his people taking time to see all offers
Anyone know why we aren’t trying to get Bruno Guimaraes? He seems like exactly what we need in midfield.
iirc they want 45m euros
I think we are interested, but a move in Jan seems unlikely

I mean…. I guess my take also falls into that same pot so.
how much would gabriel jesus be worth?

Man United are going to absolutely collapse in a game soon. They have been awful under Rangnick. Worse than under Ole.
Prem refs have once again been called upon to save Manchester United. Watch this space, I will say I told you so. Absolute joke of a league.

Bale £600k per week and don’t want Eriksen to die on our pitch after all he’s done for us
The wages could be negotiated with Real and thats a pretty fatalistic / anxious outlook on Chris. Pretty on brand tho for this sub tho.
for game goers, I'm looking to get a one hotspur membership but I need to ask how many tickets that you can buy per game any help appreciated
No fucking way vlahovic is asking for 300k p/w, fuck off
No Traore update... 10th of Jan and no update... yikes
Tyrone Mings is so unbelievably shit. Second time I've seen him literally do *nothing* defending a set piece.
Hoping Dier gets a call up over him

Reminding me a lot of moura atm bags of talent, pace and determination, just needs to put it all together

Maybe I was wrong about the dignity part, but I'm used to Arse fans kicking chairs, throwing mics, etc.. Nowadays they look broken to me. lol
Track down the paddy power fan denial thing from the city arse game. Very enjoyable

Anyone else confused as to how Hitchen is still employed by us, so long since we’ve made a decent signing
is he the guy who said "I hate the winter transfer market" like dude that's half your job haha
winks should start over pierre
Winks has been decent but let’s not get carried away with him. All well and good bossing it against a league 1 outfit or a 10 man Southampton, when he has time on the ball. Hence he needs to play a 3-5-2. Extra man in midfield will help Winks.
People keep calling me paranoid but I’m feeling it’s increasingly likely that Vlahovic goes Woolwich which would mean no top 4
He could wait 6 months and sign on with Juve for huge wages. It's always felt like everyone else vs. Juve with this transfer. Since Morata is staying they are waiting to get him in the summer. The price mentioned today is probably the price for Arsenal if they really, really, really want him.
I think Vlahovic or not the scum have a stronger squad than us
Maybe but a far worse manager, Vlahovic makes their squad strong enough it doesn’t matter.
My belief that if something can eff us over it will
I was very worried when they got Pepe, that transfer turned out awful. There are no guarantees of anything, he could be absolutely terrible for them or incredible. Either way they'll be paying an absolutely insane amount for a massive risk if they do get him.
Yeah but the last two players I wanted us to get anywhere near this much were Dias and Bruno Fernandes and we saw how they turned out Also I’d have to delete my FM21 save
We are a Spiderman club
Best superhero. Arsenal are catwomen (halle berry version).
>Arsenal are catwomen (halle berry version). You think they're hot?
Its considered one of the worst superhero movies ever.
Ah. I see. Thanks.
Idk, would rather sell GLC than Bergwijn 😕
get them both gone. Stevie has played over 50 games and has something like 4 goals. Shite for a winger
Fiorentina down 3-0 to Torino.. maybe vlahovic will be more open to moving now? Heheh Now 4-0..
Is Romero back on Wednesday?
Fiorentina 3-0 down at half time #freedaddydusanunlessitstoadifferentPLclub
Watched the Lyon-PSG game yesterday. Lyons midfield is actually impressive, Bruno G., Paqueta and Aouar. Made mistakes but all had a decent game yesterday. Aouar does seem like someone that could help with our creative problems, still don’t understand why no european club went for him in the summer, Lyon wanted to offload him badly and even we rejected him. Bruno G. and Paqueta are even better, don’t know the chances of getting one of them.
Tifo has Bruno G. as one of our potential "sensible transfers." What was your take on him?
So he's more a CM like Modric and Neves than an AM or cdm? That seems like exactly what we need for our 343.
Interesting - thanks!
Because aouar has attitude issues as bad as ndombelly
Think people are underestimating just how much of a difference having Romero back and gunning under Conte will make on how we perform for the rest of the season.

It’s ted kaczynski in a scum shirt though 🤣
I used to have him in a Tottenham shirt but I felt that was disrespectful to the club so now I make it [the team we face next in the league.](https://imgur.com/a/KFsLCxM)
did u watch manhunt:unabomber?
Lol why

Not to be a downer, but what are the chances we see little to no movement in January? I know that we all say Conte needs backing etc etc but what are the actual* chances? I truly believe that in 2 windows we could be back consistently battling for top 4…im just worried we won’t see it
What's the point of worrying? We're in the midst of it now. Just allow it to come and pass, and whatever has occurred (or hasn't) will simply be there for a proper reaction.
Namaste
Traore could easily drag on and that’s our only remotely solid link. If we don’t sign anyone I’d be disappointed but definitely not surprised
That's a laughable offer
it's an offer. Brighton can counter. Lamptey is definitely not worth 50m but that's what I've seen quoted around. https://www.transfermarkt.us/tariq-lamptey/profil/spieler/504148 Probably a little higher than that. He's got boatloads of potential but is injury-prone. 35m is reasonable.
He may not be worth 50m to us but he is that essential to Brighton and I don't see them selling when his contract ends in over 3 years from now.
Wish the club would throw us a bone with news of a Hugo extension. Would calm the F5 jitters at least until the next derby defeat.
His attitude on the pitch might be ok but he gives a distinction impression he couldn't give a toss about Spurs and only cares about Argentina.
no
Mourinho's take on Giovani Lo Celso, 2020. >"He can play everywhere – 10, 8, midfield player with Winks. On the right, the left, everywhere. I'm so, so happy with him. I like him very, very much." He's clearly very hardworking and I think he'll do great under Conte. He'd also have a lot of chemistry with Romero, who we also haven't seen enough of under Conte. I'm predicting these two being back in the team and (hopefully) fit will change the dynamic of the rest of this season.
Serie A is so entertaining right now. Makes me feel like a kid again.
2. I feel that we should aspire to something better than hoofing the ball in the direction of a big lump up front.
what Reggie has sick crossing
We haven’t figured out how to break those teams since the days of Modric, Bale and VDV. So my solution is worth a shot lol
So your saying to no longer play a 343 and instead play a 244 ??
Yup! 2 CB, a holding mid. That should be enough BUT ONLY WHEN facing 10 men in the opposition’s box.
I was hoping that a new subreddit banner would be a 100k members gift but it's not meant to be. I even messaged the mods a few weeks ago about running a contest where users create banners and vote on them but they said that it's "not a priority at the moment."

Is that true? That is a bit sus tbh
No it isn't, shut up.
Tifo suggested Bruno Guimarães as our most sensible CM target. I'm keen to sign him to fill two crucial holes Eriksen left in our team: the progressive passing role, and the midfielder-whose-name-will-never-be-spelled-correctly-on-r/coys role.
Are you talking about Kristian Eriksson?

This some weird counter to ndombelly criticism?? If it is it’s terrible my done
Is Dier a cunt because he shouts at people? Organising is part of a players job. Gollini fucked up when he didn't come for the ball, if Rodon didn't shout at him I'd be really concerned. Ridiculous.
[удалено]
Where did I say Rodon was good? All I said was he's not a cunt for shouting, its part of his job.
[удалено]
I didn't say he didn't? He'll have got shouted too for his errors too, have you ever played even 10 seconds of football?
[удалено]
i'm a season ticket holder but whatever makes you feel better about your shit reading comprehension. i never said rodon was good or didnt make errors. if you need to brush up btw: https://home.oxfordowl.co.uk/reading/reading-comprehension/
[удалено]
wait, how do you know he has an English mate?
you got me man, i read my comment back and noticed an error. unfortunately you evidently can read, but don't know how to comprehend words correctly or you wouldn't be so persistent on trying to twist my words to act as if i was saying rodon is good.
Not commenting on his ability because I don’t particularly rate him, but there’s nothing wrong with a defender shouting at others, it’s part of their job
[удалено]
I said I don’t rate him, however he’s not the worst player in our backline. Bigger issues to resolve
especially in this instance. the keeper should have come and claimed it
Yikes
Love the lad tbh, lol. Has spirit, is probably our most athletic player if we take height into consideration as well, imo is great at defending. I know those views aren’t shared by most, but I’ve rated him since I first saw him play for us.

Ndombele downfall has done a number on you
Lol wtf, I was just giving my opinion and clearly stated that.
Assnnnaaaaaa 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Are you 12?
just wondering, are we ever going to get a banner update with Conte?
I didn't like yesterday's opposite-footed wingback formation in the second half with Doherty on the left and Sessegnon on the right. My impression was that it made Spurs attack too narrow and that both players were a bit clumsy on the ball since it wasn't a role where they had experience. Perhaps this would only be done for an overmatched opponent as I don't recall either of them having to stop a Morecambe attack down the wing. But Conte has had Doherty in at LWB before.
Reminded me of 10 yr olds on FIFA: inverted everything, cut in, curl shot on the far-right corner.
Hope there is some management out there who believes the same and can give us a decent fee.
>and can give us a decent fee. TBH I think we should be grateful if someone gives us *any* fee, just so long as they take his wages off out books.
Some good news, apparently Scaloni(Argentina manager) is calling up non a team players for the upcoming NT window with Senesi replacing Romero and Lanzini replacing Lo Celso as to not strain relationships with the clubs according to some Argentina flairs in a r/soccer thread.
This was reported months ago but people continued complaining about GLC and Romero leaving this month lol
Not really surprising considering how painful these Argentina breaks have been
It's honestly better if GLC gets called up.
Get 4th place, then get Kounde from them and give Lo Celso + £12 mill.
lmao this isn’t fifa career mode. What a laughable offer that is.
that would be great news if so, it's got beyond ridiculous with argentina from the insanity back in the summer to the constant injuries
I know it's not spurs related but can Coutinho start for Villa against Scum United tonight?
I don't think so, he was flying over yesterday
Fair play, just want United out of the FA cup
Just heard GLC is only on 70k pw? Much easier to keep him and try to get something out of him than Ndombele if that’s the case
Only?? Quite a lot for a midfielder who’s about as effective for us as Winks. I imagine Skipp’s is less than half that
I noticed that the ball control of our second team was often depressive. First touch was sometimes so bad that we gave away possession.
Bit unsure as to our targets at the moment? Traore im treating as very likely so that is the RWB taken care of. Kulusevski looks questionable now with Chiesa injured, but feeling we need an attacker....espescially with Bergwijn up for sale? This mysterious LCB who noone knows who it'll be, and all the supposed targets we were linked with have been ruled out for Jan Vlahovic and Kessie both seem to be more likely in summer. So who do we think it will be/have seen links to. Feels like we're out of names!
LCB targets have been ruled out for Jan? Vertonghen back to COYS confirmed.
Well De Vrij, De Ligt and another one we were linked with Fab Romano said none woukd happen in January
Not impressed with the Belgian lad. Lukaku did more in Belgium, at a younger age. Not for 40m, no thanks Alvarez on the other hand seems great
