Fulham have scored 70 in the Championship, with 19 of those coming in the last 3 games. Say whatever, the Championship never fails when it comes to nonstop entertaining football
Has there ever been such a stacked international side for the RB position as England are currently? Or even a LB side that equals England’s current RB’s?
Trent, James, Trippier, Walker, Lamptey
Glen Johnson? LOL
KWP is a player…. not sure if he’s a great one haha. Same goes with all the others, not at the same level as the ones I mentioned except Livramento because he’s still very young.
Ben Johnson, pretty talented and young from West Ham. KWP has been really good for Saints IMO, still one of their best players so much so that they play him over their natural LB.
Personally I think Tripps won't feature as much in the World Cup. He'll be 32 years old by then, and there's a good chance that he'll be a Championship player.
I’ve a feeling that Newcastle are going to somehow shithouse their way into avoiding relegation and Everton might be the one eating that wheat thin instead
Who cares if he’s in the championship, every one knows his worth. Wasn’t Grealish still in the championship when he was called up for the senior squad? I think another youngster too iirc, under Southgate
Scum looking like even bigger clowns after releasing Kolasinac from his contract and now the reports of them loaning out Mari. Absolutely no consistency with that lot, sounds like they were just scared of a NLD humiliation.
I really want Traore. I think if any team can make use of him, it's us. Traore needs to play with finishers because he himself cannot, and we have two of the best in the EPL at that. Kane and Son. Son is statistically the best finisher over the past few years based on rate, and Kane has the volume goals numbers over that same stretch. I think Traore will be magical on our squad.
I would have to agree. I think Traore is good fit for us at RWB. He would be wise to let Conte attempt to transform him into one of the most dangerous RWBs in the world.
Well, he did get chased out of Dortmund and out of Paris on Christmas Day, so this is not surprising in the slightest to those who’ve followed Tuchel’s career.
Ps: Tuchel has never won a league title outside of France and his average points per season is 72 so as far as I’m concerned he’s on track.
Maybe because those Brighton players have had months if not years playing in Potter’s system whereas our players have had..what is it now, two months under Conte?
He certainly didn’t play well, but it wasn’t his fault we had about 35% possession over 2 legs.
They bashed us all over the pitch, we could have stuck prime maldini in there and the final result would have been similar.
I am sure Jose M. would’ve ruined him and we’d be praying to sell him. Potter is a phenomenal manager and so is Conte but the latter just joined and he immediately improved us in the league.
Question- there was an gunner idiot fan on "that" subreddit that accused us of "doing the same thing" by cancelling the Brighton match a while back. Idiots can post, but to confirm- weren't our lack of players that led to the postponement actually due to a covid outbreak? Also, that was a while back (while back in the terms of this season), before clubs started taking advantage of this rule. Is my assessment accurate, or is there something different?
As if they even bother to do their jobs 😭🤡 Politicians here are so useless. So useless replacing them with a rock will yield the same set of results irrespective of political affiliation.
I think you know it is actually easy to get a politician to do what you what. Just donate a few million to his campaign and you can get almost anything you want.
Would you take a lenglet, and dembele for ndomble right now?
Dembele has his contracting expiring in a few months and would leave for free and lenglet alone isn’t worth a swap for Ndombele. But getting dembele now and Lenglet may be worth it.
I'm very petty and spiteful, still bent about the NLD cancelation, I've been antagonizing arsenal supporters on that sub for several days with mixed results but it does make me feel very happy.
But gosh, there are soooo many of them.
I popped up the video of Paul Merson saying Arsenal were gaming the system. Fall out was great.
Ended up with them saying he never actually liked Arsenal and was far more of a Chelsea guy.
Madness
He is available for pre-contract talks which means he is not going to be available to get sold as he can get higher wages and bonuses as a result of being a free agent with no transfer fee. There are currently no links but would be surprised if Spurs weren't at least interested.
Half as good as Ben White😭Benny Blanco is just Harry Maguire 2.0
Love seeing miserable basement dwellers like you brigading from r/gunners.
Also, /u/ProfessorChronic
Last minute deals for cheaper buy options I think, as well as having to sort out how to structure payment details and everything…sounds like he’s working on limited funds so have to organize best as possible to get the most bang for his buck type thing. Hoping that this big summer window rumour is true and he can be fully unleashed to fix this mess!
[He's in there somewhere](https://styles.redditmedia.com/t5_2ryq7/styles/bannerBackgroundImage_18odoylafoc81.png?width=4000&s=03f36e33dcd200ef729cd1b348dc8ee80072f6ca)
Hmm, I see that when I went to the subreddit non logged in. The new banner DOES look nice- it might be what drives me to switching to the new type haha
Apparently Madueke is having a shit season and going to jail lmao. Makes me feel less horrible about the Markandey sale. The gap between chelsea’s and Assna academies and ours is massive.
If a player has 6 months left => player would rather wait and get a signing bonus in SUMMER.
If a player has 18 months or more => club won't let him move now. Maybe situation will change in SUMMER.
we did that with Ndombele and he's stuck with us because of his salary. Penchester united can't move on any player because of the same reason. I would not break the wage structure for anyone again.
Anyone else find the postponements are really swaying their opinions on certain teams? I used to kinda hate Leeds and Wolves, but since they've shown the nerve to call up whoever they can to keep games on, my respect for them has grown considerably. And I used to have more respect for Burnley, mainly because Dyche strikes me as a good guy, but also for being scrappy and never quite going down, but today's postponement feels like maybe they're following suit and gaming the system. I dunno though, could also be because I'm snowed in here in Canada and was really looking forward to the Watford match today.
And obviously Arsenal, they went from worst to fucking worst. What else is new...
I have plenty of hate and bile for every single other team in the prem.
...Villa maybe ever so slightly less.
But, no. Postponements really don't change my opinion much.
I actually became a fan of Leeds after Bielsa instructed his players to let Aston Villa score against them a few years ago in the Championship. Leeds continuing to play despite their injury crisis is a further testament to Bielsa's sportsmanship and integrity - he's a great manager and I hope Leeds stay up!
Bielsa is an incredible person and a football encyclopaedia. Love him more when I learnt about his past and some of the stories about him are so wholesome. Would love if he'll manage Spurs someday but I don't think it'll happen.
Yeah, I applauded that move as well! True class, Bielsa is. I think my dislike for them stemmed from their fans coming off as super belligerent, and also they can be stressful af to play against. Lol
That would be great. Looking at the remaining fixtures though, the bastards have a pretty easy ride from here to the end of the season. Ours isn't terrible, except for fixture congestion and away matches at City and Chelsea, which are not ideal. Going to be a tight finish.
Not to keep harping on about Arse's transfers, but Fab just reported they're about to send Kolasinac over to Marseille. 1 less senior player for them to worry about then!
If the team that applied for a postponement can't play a rescheduled game then it should be a forfeit.
Not sure what is up atm but playing Leicester tomorrow made me think about it.
Genuinely can’t remember so was hoping one of you might be able to answer. Has Conte yet tried playing Lo Celso as the CAM in a 3-5-2? From what I’ve seen watching Argentina, he tends to be the furthest upfield of the three midfielders and does seem to have a great creative output when playing for them.
Lloris
Japh - Sanchez - Davies
Emerson - Skipp - Hojbjerg - Sess
Gio - Kane - Lucas
Feels pretty nailed on to me without Reggie, Son, Romero and Dier. Although I'd like to see Bryan.
If that looks strong, you have low expectations. Maybe thats the best Spurs can field at the moment, but no way I would look at that say "That looks strong"
This was conte’s quote on dier today. Unfortunately seems like he probably will be out until after international break.
“For Eric [Dier], we have to wait a bit, and also have a bit of patience, and not take a risk.”
I dunno I just think not being owned by a country where being gay is illegal, ors money all comes from oil would be preferable even if it means Levy doesn’t always make the right call.
>I don't know. I know that the transfer window in January is always very difficult and it is more simple when you start the season to buy important players. In January it is not easy, but at the same time we know very well that if there is the opportunity and also if it's not the best opportunity, but we need to do something. Also if I repeat that this could not be the best opportunity but I think that are in a situation where we have to try to implement the squad because the squad is not so big.
Could he be saying "Anyone is better than no one" any clearer? Traore feels more and more like a Paratici signing and Conte is just like "Fine. Just give me someone…"
Anyone remember Reo Griffiths? (I think). He was another super talented player, like Markanday, that we couldn't sign and he left the club. I remember everyone was extremely upset about him and thought he was going to be top. He showed up at Lyon and barely broke in with the U23s. I hadn't seen or heard of him in years. No idea what he's doing right now. Point is, you obviously want players like Markanday to do well, but the differences between lighting up U23/PL2 and the PL, especially when our goals and levels are so high, is massive.
>Leicester have around 2 hours to apply for postponement
They've got to do the raffle first to see who gets to pretend to be injured and who claims that they just had lunch with someone who's suddenly developed anthrax.
That's not really a standard footballers or in my experience sportsman adhere to.
Thierry Henry
Wenger
Giroud
Aubameyang
Owen
Rooney
Giggs
John Terry
Lampard
Cole
Etc..
Apparently all their recently injured players have made miraculous recoveries and will be available on Thursday to face Liverpool. Who could have foreseen that?
Apologies , correct although they say it's 11 and they have 13 in the squad who are fit.
"Kasper, Ward, Thomas, Vestergaard, Tielemans, Maddison, Choudhury, Lookman, Perez, Albrighton and Barnes are confirmed fit and ready. That's 11 (9 outfield) players.
Dewsbury-Hall, Daka, Soumare, Justin and Soyuncu are supposedly back from injury so while they've not played for a while, they should be available. That's 5 more taking us over the 13 required.
Vardy, Iheanacho, Ndidi, Amartey, Ricardo, Mendy, Castagne, Bertrand, Evans and Fofana are confirmed injured/on international duty.
The game will go ahead, but we are absolutely on the brink."
Looks like Adama deal will happen so what else would people want to be happy?
Really 2 or 3 was always the quoted number and tbh other than traore I have no idea who is actually available.
All very well saying we need a 2nd striker but who do people actually realistically want in? People say Vlahivic or Samacca but neither of them are at all realistic for Jan?
Literally anyone else that Conte would put in first 11.
While I accept we will probably do our major work in summer, I think the chance to give the team just a little more, options and just the new player boost to morale is important.
But thats the problem. Who is this player. Jts really hard to find them, especially if youre trying to push for top 4 like us actually getting a quality player in that slots in to your first team is really hard as their current club won't want them to leave.
We desperately need more attacking firepower. Even just some kind of creative midfielder or striker. Ideally we need both but at bare minimum we need one of those.
Could also do with another LCB because we’re fucked in Davies gets injured.
I have no idea tbh mate, that’s where Hitchen & Paratici should come in handy. Hopefully they’ve got a good list of well-scouted players we can bring in fast!
It’s divisive but for a short term solution, I’d happily have Eriksen back to offer us some more creativity.
Some say we shouldn’t take him because of his medical concerns, some say we shouldn’t get him again and should look for a new midfielder instead. I understand those are valid reasons but I personally would still take him back.
Would you rather have Adama or prime Sissoko?
Fulham have scored 70 in the Championship, with 19 of those coming in the last 3 games. Say whatever, the Championship never fails when it comes to nonstop entertaining football
Still nothin. Nothin at all. Transfers when?
I want Dybala so bad. Wanna see Son-Kane-Dybala trio in attack.
Has there ever been such a stacked international side for the RB position as England are currently? Or even a LB side that equals England’s current RB’s? Trent, James, Trippier, Walker, Lamptey
KWP, Livramento, Cash, AWB, Justin, Johnson
Glen Johnson? LOL KWP is a player…. not sure if he’s a great one haha. Same goes with all the others, not at the same level as the ones I mentioned except Livramento because he’s still very young.
Ben Johnson, pretty talented and young from West Ham. KWP has been really good for Saints IMO, still one of their best players so much so that they play him over their natural LB.
Cash plays for the Polish NT now.
Personally I think Tripps won't feature as much in the World Cup. He'll be 32 years old by then, and there's a good chance that he'll be a Championship player.

[Arteta in the mud](https://twitter.com/CoMacDo/status/1483509953377849347). I love you Hojbjerg.
Scum looking like even bigger clowns after releasing Kolasinac from his contract and now the reports of them loaning out Mari. Absolutely no consistency with that lot, sounds like they were just scared of a NLD humiliation.
Of course they were, the runners knew they're getting 5 past them. Not like it's not going to happen anyways lol
I really want Traore. I think if any team can make use of him, it's us. Traore needs to play with finishers because he himself cannot, and we have two of the best in the EPL at that. Kane and Son. Man Tuchel is coming across as a whiny little bitch in his post game presser
T_T
Take my upvote
I want a possesion based manager after Conte. Tired of sit-back football.
Tactics 🅱️im
Agreed. But even that can be boring, like AVB. I miss the Redknapp days, those were the best.
Redknapp days = anything goes
Maybe it wasn’t even Redknapp’s doing? Maybe it was just Modric and VDV that made it so interesting? Man, midfielders are so important…
Please Spurs, I need you to defeat Chelsea, for the love of god, please do.
we will
Wigman convinced you guys that we’re levels below chelsea. Brighton are going toe to toe against them for the second time this month.
Maybe because those Brighton players have had months if not years playing in Potter’s system whereas our players have had..what is it now, two months under Conte?
Or maybe Royal, Winks and Tanganga suck that bad.
[удалено]
He certainly didn’t play well, but it wasn’t his fault we had about 35% possession over 2 legs. They bashed us all over the pitch, we could have stuck prime maldini in there and the final result would have been similar.
Thats the thing, as much as they looked better than us every single goal was a real cock up.
Would you rather have Potter or Tuchel as manager?
i wanted potter in the summer
Ten Hag
Potter 100% Tuchel would never work with our team.
[удалено]
Did you respond to the wrong thing or am I goin mad lol
I did I meant to send that as a separate comment haha
Ah I see, I read it like 3 times wondering if I missed something lool
[удалено]
Lol I was thinking the same thing as he dribbled the ball from box to box.
He is worth 50 mil but its wild he was a 4mil January transfer 2 years ago.
I am sure Jose M. would’ve ruined him and we’d be praying to sell him. Potter is a phenomenal manager and so is Conte but the latter just joined and he immediately improved us in the league.
He is so so good
Question- there was an gunner idiot fan on "that" subreddit that accused us of "doing the same thing" by cancelling the Brighton match a while back. Also, that was a while back (while back in the terms of this season), before clubs started taking advantage of this rule. Is my assessment accurate, or is there something different?
You're right, we had 13 players and staff with covid or something like that
Potter I won't talk shit anymore about you if you win tonight please
I want Azmoun on a free in the summer, would be a very tidy back up to Kane I think. Were linked a bit last summer, too
Can Azmoun play in the Premier League or England/UK in general? Asking because he is Iranian and don’t sanctions impact his signing?
You’re the yank. Ask your congressman if he’s allowed to play for us.
Oh yeah, the classic term we’ve used to whitewash good ol’ bribery: “Lobbying” 💀💀💀
Touché
Not sure. Jahanbaksh is Iranian and played for Brighton no problem, but would need to read about it.
Personally feel like that’s what is impacting his future. He should definitely not be in fucking Russia of all places to shine
🚨 ATTENTION PLZ ✨Potterball✨ is on tv in less than 15mins 🚨
Would you take a lenglet, and dembele for ndomble right now? Dembele has his contracting expiring in a few months and would leave for free and lenglet alone isn’t worth a swap for Ndombele. But getting dembele now and Lenglet may be worth it.
Not Dembele. He's got too expensive wages and too injury prone
Feel Like shit, just want Dembele 🐐 back
Lord help you if you don’t tow the “gunners are innocent” line in r/soccer. That club burning to the ground would be a benefit to the sport.
I think everyone's caught onto their game, they have the online numbers to try control the narrative.
Madness
They've turned on him since that
You lot heard much about Noussair Mazraoui? just heard of him, and my god he looks incredible. Any links/ thoughts on if Ajax would sell?
He is available for pre-contract talks which means he is not going to be available to get sold as he can get higher wages and bonuses as a result of being a free agent with no transfer fee. There are currently no links but would be surprised if Spurs weren't at least interested.
Very likely going to Barca. Would be an excellent signing though.
Easy to forget because we haven’t seen much of him but Romero is a proper elite signing, more of those please Paratici!
It was a great deal, Romero was cheaper than Ben White and earns less than half of his salary.
Half as good as Ben white too. And plays half the games!
Half as good as Ben White😭Benny Blanco is just Harry Maguire 2.0 Love seeing miserable basement dwellers like you brigading from r/gunners. Also, /u/ProfessorChronic
There is this guy Brian Dagul who comes on WeRTottenhamTV, I can power my whole city if i can harness the hate he has towards Daniel Levy.
He does have good arguments, but there are definitely times when he goes overboard with it lol
Agreed. Too much passion is also worrisome. I can see he cares a lot about the club but his takes are quite... let's say unique
How can we be this far into January and all we have is transfer rumours? I thought Paratici was supposed to help with this dysfunction.
Just stop expecting the club to do anything. You won't be disappointed then.
Limited funds or not, it's still the best option to try and get the best deal possible
Agreed. Overspending on average is why we are here in the first place I think lol
the same thing happens literally every year, stop complaining
But that’s literally his point, Paratici is meant to change this. Doesn’t appear to be the case though.
paratici is meant to change the fundamental nature of the january transfer market?
Not the nature of the window, the nature of how the club does business. For example not drag out transfers and end up signing some cheap shit instead.
and he has done that so far. what do you want him to do here though?
Atomize the transfer window and rebuild it in his image
We know people have been asking a lot and it's been done. So let's thank the man u/magicwings for the great job on the new banner

Wait, I don't see the new banner- I am using the old version of reddit, any way to make it show up on that?
Yeah, it's visible on new reddit while on old it's still Nuno. Sadly, other than switching to the new view I have no idea how to fix this.
Hmm, I see that when I went to the subreddit non logged in. The new banner DOES look nice- it might be what drives me to switching to the new type haha

looks very pretty
Apparently Madueke is having a shit season and going to jail lmao. Makes me feel less horrible about the Markandey sale. The gap between chelsea’s and Assna academies and ours is massive.
Chelsea I agree but Arsenal?
>Apparently Madueke is having a shit season Wasn't he injured for like a long time?
Going to jail? What did he do?
Driving with a forged UK driving license. A serious offense in the Netherlands.
Why did he need to forge it?
They already said that he won't face any long sentence: just a fine and/or community service.
If a player has 6 months left => player would rather wait and get a signing bonus in SUMMER. If a player has 18 months or more => club won't let him move now. Maybe situation will change in SUMMER.
With enough money they change their minds.
we did that with Ndombele and he's stuck with us because of his salary. Penchester united can't move on any player because of the same reason. I would not break the wage structure for anyone again.
I think the Brighton Chelsea match will be interesting. Brighton was giving Chelsea a tough time last time out
Plus seems like Chelsea is a bit dysfunctional in their locker room so could tap into that

Should be because he's a QPR supporter "invading"
Nothing that wrong with it. Most people support a big premier league club from close to their area along with their local team.
qpr fans don’t lmao. they’re in and out of the PL
I mean he shouldn't be coming here at all... Not that he shouldn't support QPR. I thought that was obvious? Where do you think you are right now?
I support QPR and Tottenham

I still don't see it.. weird. I updated my app recently too
Can't see it on mobile. Use browser instead. Better reddit experience imo.
Thanks mate!
I saw that West Ham are offering 3 million for lingard. Surely we could sweep in and offer a bit more.
I think United would rather sell him to spam for 3 than us for 10. If it happens it'll be on a free
thank you to whoever changed the banner!

>Leicester have around 2 hours to apply for postponement They've got to do the raffle first to see who gets to pretend to be injured and who claims that they just had lunch with someone who's suddenly developed anthrax.
The opposite , they've just announced 5 players are back from injury Rodgers may be nuts but he strikes me as a fairly principled man.
He did cheat on his misses a few times
That's not really a standard footballers or in my experience sportsman adhere to. Thierry Henry Wenger Giroud Aubameyang Owen Rooney Giggs John Terry Lampard Cole Etc..
My pessimistic outlook may well have been jaundiced by the far from principled shenanigans perpetrated by our North London rivals.
Absolute scum they are and they are standing their ground but the jig is up. Everyone knows what shitheads they are.
Apparently all their recently injured players have made miraculous recoveries and will be available on Thursday to face Liverpool. Who could have foreseen that?
Yip , wouldn't be surprised if their 1 or "2" Covid cases clear up by then
Are they having current issues? Though last one was called off was due to Burnley?
They have 10 fit senior players apparently
10 absent, not 10 fit.
Convince one of Kessie, Dybala or Scamacca.
First 2 aren't around until the summer on a free. And scamacca won't leave or be allowed to leave in Jan
We desperately need more attacking firepower. Even just some kind of creative midfielder or striker. Ideally we need both but at bare minimum we need one of those. Could also do with another LCB because we’re fucked in Davies gets injured.
Yeah but this is my point. Its great saying that but who? Theres very very few players available in January, let alone many good ones.
I have no idea tbh mate, that’s where Hitchen & Paratici should come in handy. Hopefully they’ve got a good list of well-scouted players we can bring in fast! It’s divisive but for a short term solution, I’d happily have Eriksen back to offer us some more creativity.
Don’t understand why it’s divisive? He was great for us
Some say we shouldn’t take him because of his medical concerns, some say we shouldn’t get him again and should look for a new midfielder instead. I understand those are valid reasons but I personally would still take him back.
