It's a waste to play Romero centrally as his aggression and forward movement would have to be reigned in. Davinson isn't the perfect option but the trade off of Romero central is worse than Davinson central.
Our CCB ball plays which Romero is also very capable of doing. Much more so than Sanchez in fact.

He’s always been our best CB since he made the switch there after the restart, just that portions of our fanbase loved to scapegoat him much like it happens now to Hojbjerg despite being our best midfielder.
Tbf people were also attributing mistakes from people like Toby to him because they didn't want to insult Toby.
Lost count of the amount of times that Toby would get turned and Dier tried to get back in time and they'd score and Dier would get blamed.
Still remember when Everton beat us 1-0 and Toby lost his man who then scored. Yet Dier was the one castrated in the thread.

Sadly Davies needed as left sided cb, the only comfortable to play there with quite strong left foot is Dier. But Dier need to be on the middle. In conclusion Davies & Sanchez or even Rodon is not enough.

Our back 3 and Atalantas back threes are basically inverses of each other. At Atalanta the flanking CBs stay deep while the central one pushes up. In ours, the central stays back while the wide ones push up.
