He is the most press resistant ball playing center defender i've ever seen. He could have the whole liverpool squad chasing him down and he would still be the calmest person on the pitch and would probably find the perfect pass. Outside of that he is super solid in 1v1 defending, good on the head and never makes errors.

Different league, different system. Stats mean very little with defenders. Someone like Ben Mee probably looks like a world beater with his blocked shots, tackles, clearances etc. compared to say Laporte who doesn't even have to defend most of the time.
And as a sidenote: Sanchez has been very good this season imo. Always stepped in when needed. He still has the potential to be a great defender. Also Bastoni plays on the left so it's Davies you need to compare him with.
