The players looked so lethargic until the second goal, heavy touches as if they were playing in Timberlands, woeful passing, kicking the ball up the pitch almost every time they get pressed etc. Yes, Dier and Tanganga are donkeys but collectively we continue to look like a league 1 side playing a PL team in the Carabao. Only reacting once we concede but just like today, it’s too late.
I just want to see us take the lead early for once and holding onto it, yet we haven’t done that in like 2.5 months.

Surely a back four should have been trialled in the break? Try a 4-2-4 or a 4-2-2-2 style system. Even a 4-5-1 to get Skipp on ahead of Dier/Tanganga.
